Crusty's Pizza

I ordered a large cheese pizza and a steak and cheese sub. The steak and cheese was okay, it was full of meat but it didn't have enough cheese and it was very bland. No flavor at all! When it comes to the cheese pizza, the only good and tasty part was the crust. The pizza was over cooked, barely any cheese, dry, no sauce and not big enough to be a large. The crust was crunchy, with a nice taste.

Great pizza place! Love their crust. Super crisp crust. Toppings have great flavor. They taste fresh and got just the right crisp to them. The sauce is good. Not sweet like some. This place is a Warwick Favorite for a reason. I can't believe I didn't review them yet. Thought I did. Great family Pizza place. And the workers are so nice and happy. I enjoy seeing them. This is very important when chosing a place to spend your money. This is not the norm anymore and should be greatly valued by customers. Crusty Pizza delivers in the area of wonderful customer service!

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I had a pepperoni pizza, BBQ wings, and Baclava. The pizza was very nicely done, great crust and great flavor. The wings were top notch also. And the baklava was excellent. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.3.

Nice spot to check out the game in a cozy booth. I had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and an order of barbecue wings that were both very good and reasonably priced. Ronnie the cook will even come out from the busy kitchen to say hello and ask how you are doing. Overall great atmosphere.

The BEST PIZZA IN WARWICK, HANDS DOWN!! The sauce is delicious and just the right amount ! They use the small little pepperonis and those are our family’s favorite!! The sandwiches are also one of the best in town! They have been around since I was a kid and they still going strong today! If you don’t get your pizza and subs here , then your missing out!

Must be new owners. Ive been going there 30 years no problems Burn the bread. I can still taste the charcoal flavored bread Wife ordered Ittalian sub with oil and vinegar. Must have put a few drips of each. Salami was poor quality meat. Its seems like the new norm. Cook at home Im done with that show

Best pie around! I order the special pizza still comes with a crispy crust with all those toppings. Honestly Its phenomenal with friendly staff

I will call this Greek style pizza that I remember from when I was a kid. It is delicious, and the service is great! I enjoy my interaction with whoever is on the register every time I go there. Meatball sandwiches are great too!

First time here yesterday. Absolutely delicious! I got a sausage and meatball pie and a pepperoni and olive. Both were awesome. Cooked perfectly, great crust, tons of toppings and the sauce and cheese were delicious. It was $26 with tax for two large, which is totally reasonable. I especially loved the meatball, it was plentiful and crumbled, very tasty. Guys inside we're very friendly. They have some tables and a little counter with stools. Cute little joint, will definitely be back! This has been my favorite pizza in the area by far.

This is my go-to for pizza. Prices are reasonable and the pizza is consistently great. My favorite is white broccoli and cheese which I can't find anywhere else. He has a sign that says to skip the chain pizza places and I agree!

Back to Crusty's last Friday night. They were very busy and slinging pizzas like crazy! Pizza was perfectly cooked and right on time even with the crowd. Delicious, consistent, friendly staff and very reasonably priced! Check them out!

Was looking for some non chain pizza and this was a win! Next time I will try their specialty pizzas as I just wanted a more traditional pie. The crust was perfectly crispy and the toppings a plenty.

12/10 The best sausage and pepperoni pie in the state. Perfectly balanced pie from the pep, crispy sausage, cheese, sauce and crust. We just moved to the area and seen it in passing decided to call in for delivery and they said they don't deliver- it peeked our interest. A pizza place that stands alone and doesn't need to offer delivery service. We got our asses up called back for dine in. Did not disappoint. love the classic buffalo wings as well, all for great prices. Sorry we didn't take a photo we dug right in. The place is very homey, good amount of space and seating. A lot of Boston love and pride. Will definitely come again.

Been given this credibly flavorful pizza to eat at a friends house twice now and tonight... I can't stop thinking about how fabulous it is was AND I must have it tonight!!! It is so absolutely fresh with tasty ingredients It's the best ever. !!! Toppings as you wish. Always fresh and delicious.

What can I say that probably has already been said? Locally owned and staffed. These guys and gals take pride in their work! Food is always fresh and cooked to specification. Guys in the are tried and salty, in a good way! They keep it straightforward and delicious! Highly recommend!

Pretty good. I'm in the area visiting family this week, my aunt wanted to get delivery from Pizza King but they're closed this week. She had tried Crustys before but thought they were just okay ... however, this time she said it was better. We got a large half mushroom/green pepper and half chicken pizza, as well as a small pepperoni pizza. Both pizzas were tasty although the pepperoni pizza was hotter, temperature-wise; I think because we had called them back to add the pepperoni pizza on to our order. Overall, I would order from here again, as everything tasted fresh and it only took them about 20 minutes to cook the pizzas.

Menu is small but packs a punch for a small family owned pizza restaurant. Pizza is loved by my household. Highly recommend the Italian grinder spinach pie and the pig in a blanket. Definitely a fun place for a pick up order. They do not deliver which does not take away for this restaurant.

We picked up the pizza party we had from there. My son said they are the best in Warwick since our other favorites all have new owners and are not as good as they use to be.

Did this place change hands recently? Doughy, dry, sauce-less, and curled up small pepperoni. Look at the pic...all dough - and no 'go'...$9.22 down the drain.

Pretty good overall. A little weird calling. Guy answering the phone just said "hhhheeellllllllllloooooo". I wasn't even sure I had called the right number/Crusty's. Overall, the pizza was pretty good and the staff was friendly.

Ordered a onion & pepper pizza. It was burned....horrible. New owner does not know what he is doing. So....I said everybody makes mistakes , try it again. I did...it was worse than the other one. Nobody there during lunchtime and at 6:00 pm on a Saturday night. I am all done with Crusty's .Recommend others stay away. Absolute garbage. Threw them out.

After taking a year away because of the constant issues with order accuracy and quality, we decided to give Crusty's another shot. Simply amazing that they still can't get a simple order right and the pizza was under cooked. Ever since the original owner retired, they simply have no idea what they are doing. They would be better off giving up and closing the place.

Have ordered from Crusty's twice in the last few months. We won't be going back. Both instances, we have been told our order would be ready in 30 minutes and when we got there, our order wasn't even in the oven yet. Ended up waiting another 30 minutes for a small pizza and spinach pie. We thought the first time might be a fluke, so we gave them another chance. If the order won't be ready for an hour, SAY SO!! They have plenty of workers in the back - maybe too many. Lots of confusion with orders. Very chaotic. I'm giving 2 stars because the food is decent.

First time here. Checked Yelp reviews. Most gave favorable reviews, so I thought I'd try it. Very satisfied. Like an old-time pizza joint. They concentrate on the food rather than the décor - Not fancy, very good pizza. Counter service with some seating. I ordered a large with pepperoni and mushroom. The mushrooms were fresh and the pepperoni was tasty. And the crust was delicious! Highly recommend.

This little place holds the trophy in my heart for the best cheese pizza. I have eaten MANY of them from here. It's the best greasy pizza I have ever had, end of story. The owner is a nice guy (Greek I think? ) who will chat with you if he isn't to busy. The Trojan horse is also tasty. Give it a try!

One of the best pizza places in Warwick. They also have phenomenal spinach pies, I like mine with spinach, mozzarella and Pepperoni well done.

This is one of the top 5 pizza Places in Rhode Island. The crust is delicious, and every bite is a crunchy tasty slice of heaven.

Crusty's is what's up in Warwick. Like many other fine Warwick pizza establishments, they don't deliver. I don't understand why this is so but we're all on a don't ask, don't tell policy when it comes to this so no harm there and no points lost. Now. I fancy myself an Italian sub connoisseur. afaic the Italian is the gold standard by which any pizza place should be measured, even ahead of the pizza. My general rule of thumb is if they can do an Italian right, the rest of the menu will follow suit and this rule has never failed me. While Crusty's may not make the best Italian I've ever had, they are the hands down titleholder in Warwick. Shonuff their pizza, spinach pies, gyro...all on point. Good prices, solid hard-working staff. They have earned their status as my go-to pizza and sub shop down hea.

Crusty's has been a staple in my family for most of my life. This small, family owned, pizza shop truly serves up the best pizza, salads, and spinach pies around! Everything is made to order and they never have a problem modifying for any allergies or dislikes. My favorite things to order are the spinach pie and the Greek salad which total about $12 and are large enough to either feed two, or serve as great leftovers. Keep in mind that Crusty's does not deliver, but you will never have to wait more than 20 minutes for amazing food!

The spinach pies rock!! Classic old school style, and the pizza was perfect. Sauce not overwhelming and was cooked well done exactly like I wanted. Most place wont cook it t well done correctly.. Classic pizza parlor!

I just ordered a small pizza and a steak sandwich. The pizza was hard and seriously lacking cheese and the steak sandwich was so overcooked and absolutely tasteless. that I threw it away. Not the Crustys that I remember. So disappointing.

It was a much better place to get pizza before Laki sold it. Lately the pizza has been over cooked!. The current staff is rude and unprofessional! I witnessed a worker making rude remarks about a customer who had just made a purchase ahead of me. The customer had already checked in and paid for his order and after 10 minutes they realized that his order was already done and sitting in the box on top of the oven! The gentleman's order was sitting there the entire time!! They gave him a half assed apology and then made disparaging comments about him after he left! Crusty's is not the same since the change in ownership!!

I live near this place and had never tried anything until yesterday, I got 2 large pizzas for under 20 dollars and I was very impressed, they were excellent the prices were more than reasonable. I don't know anywhere else I could have gotten two such large tasty pizzas for such a reasonable price. The wait time for them was very reasonable also. I'm looking forward to trying more food from their menu.

I have been searching for the consistently best pizza in the area. This is it. Well cooked, good fresh taste, good crust, made with care and excellent spread if toppings. People are friendly and helpful. Gyros are great, like I used to get at a Greek delivery when I was a kid. On busy days one of the original owners works the register and talks about quality and the product. Really tops in my book.

This is my go to pizza now...amazing crust flavorful sauce...great cheese. I live in Providence and make the drive to pick it up. The staff is very friendly and the prices are outstanding. Nice to see an old school pizza shop in operation like this one...keep doing what you do! Go to Crusty's you'll enjoy it!!

So-so. The staff was glum and the general ambiance was uninviting. I got a spinach pie with the works. When I took a bite, it was obvious the pie wasn't freshly made. The exterior was heated, but the filling was ice-cold. To top it off, the flavor was was very bland. In the 10 minutes I was there I saw 3 people come and pick up take-out orders of pizza, several boxes each, so maybe that's their specialty. No public restroom that I could see, either (which is a pet peeve of mine...if you have sit-down booths, you are a restaurant, not a food truck, and should provide a bathroom for your customers.) Yeah, there's people who love this joint, but personally I would not recommend it. There are much better places to get calzones n' pies in RI (pronounced "vode ilan".)

LOVEEEEEEE THEIR PIZZA!!! i grew up in Cranston and had a local place across the street before they closed down which was so sad...Now i live 35 minutes away and my auntie recommended me to go to this place for valentines day. seriously the best pizza I had in years!!!!! it's cute and cozy and definitely worth the drive. wished it was closer! I honestly think their pizza is the best ever. better than dominoes and pizza hut for sure!

This is hands-down my favorite pizza place in RI. (Points also because the owners, who are Greek, call their calzones "Trojan horses.") Contrary to a review below, there is NOT such a thing as too much cheese. They use a lot of cheese. I cannot understand how this could be a negative. Personally, I consider it a selling point. A particular standout is the Greek pizza - sliced tomatoes, fresh basil, and enough feta to satisfy even my feta-holic self.

Well.....we had a garage sale recently at my Wifes Cousins place and they picked up some pizza from here that afternoon. We loved it! We are new to Warwick (from West Warwick..haha!) and looking for a pizza place. We asked where it was from and they said "Crusty's, just down the road!". Our next pizza order for ourselves was placed with Crusty's and again, it was really great! No delivery but not a problem to drive a couple miles and get some good pizza! Nice crunchy crust and good amount of toppings. Really happy with this place!

I ordered spinach pie and their was rat hair in my pie also it was cold and it took them a long time to cook.

I've been going here since I was a kid literally best pizza I've ever had only suggestion is that they get with the times and offer a vegan cheese.

The best pan pizza in the state! Always cooked to perfection, buttery, flaky and full of flavor. Friendly & hard working staff, closed on mondays though! Get it while it's hot.

Began placing an order on the phone and had THE WORST customer service ever. I began by ordering a large pepperoni pizza. Next I asked about their pigs in a blanket. From my understanding and time on this earth, pigs in a blanket are hot dogs and a croissant. I asked "does this come with just one hot dog or multiple?" The gentlemen on the phone then said "it's sausage." I said, "it's not a hot dog in a croissant?" He replied, "it's sausage. Sausage is pork, pork is a pig, that's why it's pigs in a blanket." Horrible customer service. Not sure what this guy is lacking in his life that he has to be incredibly rude and sarcastic to his customers but I cancelled my order and will never go there ever.
