All the way from Atlanta! If you’re craving incredible vegan pizza in Los Angeles, Cruzer Pizza is the spot to hit. As one of the city’s fully plant-based pizzerias, it proves that you don’t need dairy or meat to enjoy a delicious, satisfying slice. Their menu is packed with creative, flavorful options, from classic margheritas to loaded supreme pizzas, all made with high-quality ingredients and a perfect balance of flavors. The crust is just right—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside—and their house-made sauces bring an extra depth of flavor. Whether you go for a gooey, melty vegan cheese pizza or one of their hearty BBQ chicken or meat-lover’s options, everything is well-seasoned and packed with taste. They also offer gluten-free crusts, so there’s something for everyone. Beyond pizza, Cruzer has other tasty plant-based options like calzones, pasta, and even vegan chicken wings, making it a great spot whether you’re in the mood for a full meal or just a quick slice. The staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and the flavors are consistently on point. If you’re in LA and looking for a satisfying vegan pizza experience, Cruzer Pizza is a must have for sure! 🍕🍕🍕🍕

I frequent this place often! Everything is vegan here. I'm surprised to hear that they are now exclusively a cloud kitchen, but hey, if that's what works best, then good for them. Vegan restaurants have been shutting down left and right lately, so I'll take a transition into a cloud kitchen over a closure any day. Here's what I've tried so far: Vegetable pizza - MY FAVORITE! The vegetables come in big chunks. I love that you can customize what veggies you want to add. I personally love adding eggplant to my pizza. When the pizza is baked in the oven, the eggplant comes out deliciously soft and melts in your mouth. They are pretty generous with the vegetables too. Pesto pizza - super oily and garlicky. The artichoke complements the pizza so well. It's super delicious and fragrant. I'd recommend this if you're into creamy, white-sauce pizzas over the standard acidic tomato base ones. BBQ chicken pizza - It's good, except it would be better if the chicken wasn't so dry. The chicken is, like, really dry.

🌱🍕 Cruzer Pizza – 100% Vegan Magic on Sunset Blvd I’ve been vegan nearly my entire life — and not the “just give me a salad” kind. I’m the kind of vegan who cooks like a queen, seasons like a pro, and has very strong opinions about plant-based food. So when I say Cruzer Pizza on Sunset Blvd is a full-blown masterpiece, believe it. The pizza? Crispy, saucy, cheesy perfection. The baked potato wedges? Seasoned and roasted like they’ve been training their whole lives for this moment. Even the salad came through with fresh, bold energy like it had something to prove — and it did. And the staff? Sweet, helpful, and kind — even over the phone. It’s like they know you’re about to fall in love with their food and want to ease you in gently. In a city where vegan spots come and go, Cruzer is delivering — literally and figuratively — in a tough market. Supporting places like this isn’t just about dinner, it’s about keeping flavor, heart, and ethics alive in the LA food scene. I ordered few boxes, a happy stomach, and a new favorite spot. This place is a gift. Don’t sleep on it. Your new family member Alya Alghamdi :)

I Ordered the Jamaican pizza it was not good at all. It tasted like it was microwaved. Very unfortunate because all you do is specialize in pizza and it wasn’t good. I’m very let down it’s sad.

Google
I've had school pizza better than this. Nothing "jamaican" about their jamaican pizza. It's almost as if the cooks have never even tried jamaican food before attempting to make this

Hands down best vegan pizza in Los Angeles.

This is a great place to chow down on vegan Italian food. Try their Philly cheese steak sandwich and their Philly cheese steak pizza.

Yelp
After a nice Sunday afternoon dodger game I was craving pizza. Went online and found cruzer pizza. Placed an order online. Fast and easy. Very tasty and crisp crust.

Yelp
From a meat eater, this place is actually good lol wtf. I very much dislike vegan food that tries to taste like meat. However, cruzer's is changing my mind. Something about that chicken parmigiana pasta hits different. Are you sure that cheese is vegan LOL it tastes as cheese is supposed to taste. The "chicken" is tofu soy based. No artificial manufactured meats. Just tofu. I ate the whole bowl haha this pasta was so good. Obviously pasta sauce is vegan. I gotta try their pizza next. Service too notch. Packaging was great and quick. I imagine the pizza would be perfect for a nice sunny day picnic! This is a cloud kitchen so don't come here looking for dine in haha. Very fast and convenient.

Yelp
Very delicious vegan pizza. I got the vegan meat pizza with mushrooms, olives and pineapple. What a great combination. I ordered on uber eats and wasn't expecting it to be so good! The dough was so pillowy soft. The toppings were loaded on. I ordered the vegan ranch to dip my pizza slices in. It added an extra layer of goodness. This is now one of my favorite vegan pizza locations. My go-to new spot.

Yelp
What a disappointment. I drove here expecting a real restaurant experience, their photos clearly show a dine-in setup, and the listing states there's an option to eat in. Instead, I found out it's just a ghost kitchen. That bait-and-switch alone was frustrating, but unfortunately, the food didn't redeem the experience. Everything arrived lukewarm and soggy, It felt like reheated leftovers rather than a freshly made meal. Between the misleading advertising and the underwhelming food, terrible parking this was a terrible experience all around. Definitely not somewhere I'd recommend.

Yelp
I love their pizza here! It is completely vegan, but you cannot even tell it is vegan. I always get the veggie pizza and add whatever veggies I am in the mood for that day. I also always get the large size because I think it is the best deal. I love the cheese that they use; it melts right on your pizza and they are not shy about how much they add. I also add a side of ranch to complete my meal. I must say that I miss their old location. They are now located at a pick up hub with a small parking space located on the corner. Many people come here to pick up other orders. I recommend trying their pizza even if you are not vegan! It is life changing and will not disappoint!!

Ainoa L.

Yelp
Needs signaling and a disclaimer that this is under another company so that people know where exactly to go in. This is a to-go/delivery restaurant and this should also be made clear to clients on the website. Food was good, we got the breadsticks and the cheese and softness was great. The pizza was okay

Yelp
The last time I came to Cruzer at a different location was over 10 years ago. They are a vegan pizza place. I'm glad they are still around and that there is indoor seating now. I took advantage of their online ordering because they were doing a 5 percent discount. I ordered the Vegan Meat Pizza (Vegan ham, pepperoni, sausage, and Daiya cheese), Chicken Parmigiana Pasta (Spaghetti with marinara sauce, chicken, and Daiya cheese), and a slice of tiramisu cake. It was crazy how three items came out to be 60 dollars. The chicken in the pasta was a slimy texture that resembled eggplant, so if you don't like that texture I don't suggest it. Pizza was okay, just a little too salty for my taste. I like the tiramisu cake! There are two gender neutral restrooms and the employee opens it up for you. Street parking. I ordered to add mushrooms on my pizza with an additional fee of $2, but after I got home, they did not add the mushrooms. Messaged them on their website, social media twice , and called them twice . No response to any!!! That's upsetting. So double check your order before leaving!

Yelp
Pizza is still decent but when they advertise on their website that "they've moved locations" what they mean is they're now a virtual kitchen. Kinda disappointing that this is the new way forward with restaurants. This should be mentioned somewhere when ordering through their website, especially since all the pictures on yelp show the old restaurant.

Yelp
Was really good and it tasted good for a boozy night. One of the top barbecue chicken pizzas out there. There is parking everywhere, street parking and a small parking lot. This is a new location so they havent set up everything like their desserts at least thats what i was told

Yelp
We love Cruzer pizza! We customize our order with the veggies we like. Love to get it warm and crispy right out of the pizza box. Don't second guess it! This is delicious. There is no more sit down, you just pick it up and enjoy. If this business model works for Cruzer, it works for us.

Yelp
The pizza is delicious. I love their options. It is affordable for this kind of great pizza. Friendly staff. Very clean place. We get their pizza all the time.

Yelp
Favorite vegan pizza spot! If you like spicy try the Indian kima pizza. It will not disappoint. It's something you have to eat with your socks off, that good! Also love that they have gluten free options. It's difficult to sometimes navigate when trying to eat out. 10/10

Yelp
[New location]: They are located on the corner of Douglass St and N. Lilac Terr. This establishment is now sharing a community kitchen with Kitchen Bann.Echo, which is made up of various other food businesses. The entrance is northeast facing, so make sure you go around the corner and you'll see the entrance to the establishment. [Parking]: There is a small lot in front of the community kitchen. I ordered for pick up today, Thursday afternoon and the lot was pretty full. There is street parking, but it is extremely limited and super tight parking on Douglas's st, especially because it's an incline to park your car. [Service]: There is no longer any interaction with the owner, instead Cruzers Pizza contracted Echo Park Eats to manage their orders. If you placed an order for pick up there is someone there to give you your order and if you visit the location to place an order, there is a tablet at the front to order your food. [Menu]: Their online menu order consists of featured items, gourmet pizza, pizza, gluten free pizza crust, calzone, appetizers, salads, pasta, sandwiches, sides, and beverages. ******* I ordered the gluten free crust pizza quarrygirl.com pizza, while the pizza flavor was okay, I did not enjoy nor like the gluten free pizza crust. The crust had a grainy and old taste like flavor; rancid taste. If I come here next time I won't be getting the gluten free pizza crust that's for sure !

Yelp
The food arrived right in time. Toppings taste fresh, the crunchy green pepper feels fresh cut plus I really enjoy the sauce!! The sauce & service is awesome. Picking up my pizzas was easy too, I just arrived and order was ready. Simple & easy no wait. I highly recommend them!

Yelp
Love love their pesto pizza - it's full of flavor! The ratatouille pizza is okaaay (in our humble opinion). But OMG THIER CHEESE BREADSTICKS ARE DIVINE! The fragrant garlic on top and the vegan cheese inside (doesn't taste like vegan cheese at all; it's super similar to the real deal). It's worth going here just for the breadsticks. Pizza is excellent too but sometimes gets a tad too cheesy (more so cause it's vegan cheese). But overall a great spot that we'd highly recommend! It's funny to think that we've never dined inside... we always get take out and eat our pizza at nearby Griffith Park!

Yelp
This is maybe the third time we tried Cruzer. The other two times was over a year ago. This past week was the first time we ordered from their new pickup spot which, gladly, is closer to our home. My husband is vegan so this works out for us. I have to say, I don't remember the pizza tasting this good before. This will be our goto vegan pizza shop from now on! The online ordering was easy (via Slice), the delivery quick, everything we ordered was exactly as we requested, no issues whatsoever, and the food was delicious. We ordered the Hawaiian, the Quarrygirl.com, and the vegetable (where we chose our own 6 toppings. We opted for thick crust and light vegan cheese for all 3 pizzas. If you're more the doughy kind of person, then I recommend ordering this way. Perfect amount of softness/doughyness but not to the point where it was undercooked. We also ordered the potato wedges with light cheese too. I can tolerate vegan cheese but not too much of the Daiya as it's too overwhelming in my opinion which is why we went light. Whether you're vegan or not or are lactose-intolerant, this is your pizza spot! Please keep this business going! We need more places like this. Thank you Cruzer!

Yelp
this vegan pizza spot been on my list for some time now and there was no better time than v-day lol the portions are great except for the wedges..probably the biggest fail of our order. it's like 10 pieces? but still undercooked with some cheese on top. i couldn't finish it but glad it came with some ranch. the star was obviously the pizza; ordered the pick 6 veggies one and i included jalapeños and it gave it a good kick, i thoroughly enjoyed it and ate half the pizza hehe.. the spaghetti was OK..kinda sweet? but very saucy and plenty of meat in it like PLENTY and cheesy af. wish it had more of tang to it if that makes sense then it would've been the best vegan meat spaghetti fr. i wish they automatically gave you red chili flakes or some italian seasonings on the side but they don't. i did order a side of buffalo which i'm glad i did. also the caesar salad..not enough dressing or just too thin that the lettuce didn't grab it and nearly all of the croutons were very burnt. wouldn't order again i would come back for the pizza alone and maybe try a sandwich or something

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Cruzer's for a while and finally had an opportunity to stop by yesterday! I pulled up around 1:30pm and easily found street parking right out front. When I walked in, the dining room was completely empty. Someone came from the back to take my order (they don't sell by the slice, which would have been nice to try different flavors). I settled on the smallest Bbq Chicken Pizza since it was just me (and I still took 3/4 of the pizza home). The pie + a bottled water were about $25. I sat at a table in the corner and awaited my food in utter silence. I think some music would have been nice and more inviting and I'm not sure why there wasn't any playing. My food took about 15 minutes and the cook brought the PIPING HOT pizza to my table and served it, asking if it was my first time (which it was). The flavor of the pizza was incredible. Great cheese pull (they use Daiya cheese) and the bbq sauce was tangy. The crust was the best part though. While I think the price point is a bit high, the location, the fact that it's vegan, and inflation kind of justifies it. I think the decor of the restaurant is fantastic as well, so they have a lot going for them. I'd recommend having some music playing, ESPECIALLY if everyone working is going to stay in the back. It was kind of strange to eat lunch in silence. I'd come back either with friends or just order takeout!

Yelp
My original review stands on the quality and flavor of the food, my downgrade by one point is just my personal feelings on Cruzer moving to a "Cloud Kitchen". The whole experience is now asthetically bland and non-descript. Also one of the best things about Cruzer was the real time experience of maybe waiting until after your meal selecting one of their desserts (which not something I often desire, but I like the option) as well as their emaculately sparkling clean kitchen, dining area and bathrooms. It was just a nice 'pizza parlor' experience with a vegan menu. I enjoyed taking non-vegan friends here to enjoy their selection of italian favorites done vegan style. What's worse for me is not being able to see the prep area, which was always clean. Now my food now being prepared in a ghost kitchen with I don't know what being else is being prepared as well. Will I stop using Cruzer? No, but my visits will probably be more like a few times a year, rather than my once or twice a month go out for a bite experience. Still the most incredible vegan pizza in all of L.A. just minus the experience.

Yelp
Just got home from picking the kids up and needed a meal - we thought pizza. Not many great options when you're vegan but we decided to try this place and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I loved how many options they give you so we customized our pie. Ordered on DoorDash and it didn't take long. Soon as got it we dug in and the kids couldn't stop eating.. who am I kidding I couldn't stop. Almost didn't say any for my girl but she would've killed me if she didn't get any of this! Great job can't wait to have again

Yelp
This pizza has become my favorite pizza place. The flavor and size of the pizza is well worth the cost which is not expensive. My daughter is a very picky eater and she loves the pizza from Cruzer. I will continue to order from them.

Yelp
Cruzer is a good go to vegan pizza spot. I'd highly recommend their pesto pizza that has artichokes on it! Very tasty, very oily in a guilty pleasure kind of way, and great for left overs!

Yelp
A very good Vegan Pizza. Real Vegan too! Clean little shop with some indoor seating. Street parking. Friendly staff and a quickly prepared pie. I'd say it's the best Vegan Pizza I've ever had. About $20 spent and will return

Yelp
"(Cruzer).... yes please! Would you come and put it down on me?" Strolled in for the first time O.O and can I just say menu board overload... an 100% plant-based pizzeria with gluten-free and various crust style options... Not to mention pasta dishes, build your own calzones, drumsticks/wings, bread sticks and literally everything you'd want and expect to find in an pizza place and then some... Except it's all vegan!! Thriving off Hollywood Blvd on the front tips of Los Feliz and tail end of East Hollywood in the Thai Town district sits this amazing restaurant off the corner of Mariposa Avenue. An all white & black building with lunch specials and deals for days practically radiating with foodie bliss for nothing but better days. SO MUCH FOOD: I came in the other night and finally settle my excitement in order to grab my taste bud longboard... It was all surfs up in LA on the Hawaiian Pizza express at Cruzer Pizza. I was bold and ordered a large for sharing later... So much vegan ham and pineapple perfectly topped in pizza pie glory with no flavors missed! This daiya cheese decadent regular crust (or any way you prefer) evenly sliced classic done plant-based is an aloha to all things savory and sweet. Great meal for a group, but just as better for one... Go large or go home! Big breaded pocket of cheesy goodness cozied up with veggies of choice is Calzone! I haven't had a calzone in nearly two decades and a vegan Calzone... O.O.... This large pita of perfection hit the spot with sauce on the side. A combination of sausage/mushroom, ham with pineapple or a pepperoni tomato onion blend are my top recommends. Double the size of a traditional calzone, this 100% plant-based delight will have your mouth water for more with eat, pull and bite. Amazing dough, amazingly baked and prepared. Crispy soft savory textured vegan drumsticks... Get in my mouth! The Buffalo style is the perfect amount of spice and heat. BBQ is an amazing treat. Wrapped in foil soaking up the warm flavor of drumstick wings made right! Vegan ranch on the side is the perfect dip though having these six piece appetizers on your plate/box is more than enough. AND THE REST: They have tons of indoor seating as well as a far amount of outdoor which is great on a weather nice day, but inside is super comfy overlooking the big screen usually with something of quality on and music throughout. Cruzer also offers takeout/take home menus to null over and/or order ahead. There's restrooms for customers and parking on the street that is usually never full and some limited parking in back (that may mostly be mainly reserved for employees), but if it's available without restrictions it's yours. The hype it truly true on this one. The way that non-dairy cheese slaps at C.P.100% is next level yum. I can still taste all these amazing noms days later... So many signature, classic and premium "pies" as well as a other dishes... I'm going to conquer this menu one cruise at a time. Available through their website and on most third party apps and for pick up as well as delivery orders. "Yeah you show me good loving, make it alright.... Need a little (savory more than) sweetness in my life!"

An J.

Yelp
The one thing this place is consistent with is getting your order wrong every single time. This place went downhill once they stopped operating in Hollywood in a normal restaurant. This ghost kitchen is awful , can't even talk to anyone when the order is always wrong.
google avatar

Michele B.

Yelp
The main reason why I miss living in L.A. the more vegan options available...this pizza place DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Various options of BOTH pizza, Sandwiches& Pasta all vegan! I think if they offered a couple of different options by the slice, it would still be a winner! Nonetheless, orders were coming for delivery quickly.

Yelp
Omg this is hands down my favorite pizza in town! Love love love their pizzas! It was my first time ordering vegan pizza & I'm never going back to regular cheese ever again! Amazing!

Yelp
There food is absolutely amazing, I tried there buffalo chicken pizza and it was so good, next time I will be having there pasta, it's a bit pricey but it's worth it, the food is delicious.

Yelp
I ordered the lasagna that is supposed to have a vegan meat but there was only sauce and cheese. I was disappointed because I have had it before with no issues.

Yelp
Hands down the best all vegan pizza spot. From the crust, to the sauce & cheeze, everything about their pizza is amazing.

Yelp
Trying to feed myself and my kid better, but I let the kid choose what type of food we'd have. He said pizza so I looked up vegan pizza because we're both lactose intolerant, and I found this place about a mile and a half from where we were at LACC where the kid plays soccer and swims. I saw they had slices for $4.99 each, (vegan pizza places NEVER seem to sell by the slice!) so I said let's roll. Side note the kid doesn't typically eat vegan, he just puts up with the achy stomach and g.i. stuff that comes with it, but I didn't tell him it was vegan. The slices came and they were big, thin crust, and really good! After we ate I finally told him that it was vegan pizza, he exclaimed "that was vegan!" So needless to say, he liked it a lot and we will be back!
google avatar

Isabella S.

Yelp
damn, i'm not even vegan, and i'll be coming back. the pizza was so good and garlicky, and they're generous with the protein portions, so it's lasting me multiple (amazing) meals lol. their vegan ranch is also super tasty. they also had fast service and were accommodating of gluten free--i did the gf crust and ground meat instead of sausage.

Yvonne C.

Yelp
FYI the location pictures are of their old location in Hollywood. The new location is at Echo Park Eats which appears to be purely to-go orders. We didn't know this before coming, assuming it was going to be a sit down restaurant like their former location. We ordered through a kiosk inside.

Adrian Sanchez ..

Yelp
Love the food hate the price gouging for delivery apps, appetizers use to be $10 6 months ago now they're $15 each thats an insane markup do better

Yelp

Yelp
The BEST DAMN PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!! Now this is how you know the food is good. When you can warm it up days later and it taste better than the first day. I strongly recommend this pizza joint. They offer a variety of pizza options. Definitely worth a try.! I look forward to returning!
google avatar

Julianna S.

Yelp
I have been here twice, this is a newer location. The first time I went they were takeout only, now they have a nice dining room. The first time we ordered a veggie pizza which was sooo good! This time I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. It was chopped up vegan chicken with buffalo sauce so a little messy but worth it! It tasted so amazing especially by adding the optional ranch dressing. It came with potato chips and a side of veggie pickles. I'd definitely recommend trying this place whether you're a local or visiting. My one critique is that Follow Your Heart vegan cheese is more appealing to my family than Daiya cheese, which has a more specific taste. I don't know if they have a special arrangement with Daiya or not. I recommend getting a light amount of it because it's taste is somewhat specific, so if ordering a pizza or sandwich, get it "light cheese". I was so happy to see they were back and in West LA because the food is amazing and it's always nice to patronize 100% vegan restaurants!

Yelp
Philly cheesesteak was so bland, not much flavor. Wasn't a fan of the pizza either. A bit disappointing since vegan spots are so tasty these days!

Yelp
We got the 16 inch vegetable pizza for 3 people. It could easily feed 4. Excellent pizza. Would go again

Yelp
Cruzer offers the most variety for vegan pizza in Los Angeles, and they have gluten free options, too. Ambiance is casual, order at the counter, and sit down in their laid back dining room. There's usually sports on - and plenty of art on the walls to admire. My favorite of their pizzas is the Buffalo Chicken on a gluten free crust. A few people I've talked to about Cruzer opt for GF crust over regular because there's a lot more flavor in it. I very rarely love a pizza crust enough to eat the edges, and I never leave a crumb of Cruzer pizza's crust on my plate. Vegan calzone! So rare. I know people hate on Daiya but Cruzer handles their cheese and other ingredients with care, and it won't disappoint. My partner gets the cheesy calzone with mushrooms, ham, and spinach. Their dough is incredible, and they turn out so picture perfect. Cheesy breadsticks taste super fresh out of the oven and yeasty. Not overly cheesy, just enough. Comes with delicious marinara dipping sauce. Let's talk dessert: don't skip it! The chocolate cake is so, so tasty but I would recommend going for the tiramisu. It's homemade, and there's a slight twist on it. It's not traditional, custard-y but rather cake like. It's so, so flavorful. Cruzer is a great place for pick up or casual dine-in, I love taking friends from out of town here because they're so blown away by the big menu, classic pizza parlor atmosphere, and all the vegan love in the air.

Yelp
Got the Hawaiian pizza with the thick crust option it was a good pizza generous with the toppings and cheese, but ranch stole the show it was so DELICIOUS!!

I love this place. I like how they make their vegan eggplant parmesan and their Jamaican pizza. Prices have skyrocketed. This place was more affordable before inflation and COVID, other than that I give this place a two thumbs up. Will still continue to come and support when I'm in the area.

Yelp
Located at a corner with some street parking available, Cruzer Pizza is clean and has a big space. On a Saturday afternoon, it was pretty empty except for 1 table when we went in. We were greeted quickly, and we ended up ordering Quarry Girl pizza which has a olive oil garlic base and vegan sausage, shiitake mushroom, and basil. You can only order whole pizzas here. There are no pizzas by the slice, but they say it is reading in 10 min after ordering. For people who don't want pizza, for lunch they have lasagna, sandwiches, pastas, and more. Sides include potato skins, potato wedges. They have affordable lunch specials as well that were advertised. The pizza was pretty good and tasty! It was very flavorful, but the daiya cheese didn't really melt. Maybe since it was out so fast, the temperature was hot so the cheese bubbled instead. Same with. the potato wedges we got, which had a nice cajun seasoning. The cheese on the potato wedges were crispy since it bubbled to a crisp. Despite this difference in texture, it was still good! I'd definitely come back. The pizza still tasted great the next day as leftovers still.

Yelp
I will agree with another poster on the blandness and lack of flavor on the pizza pies here at Cruzer. (I also order Philly Cheesesteak pizza) Since I live in Orange County and not LA I wont ever be back to this eatery anyway but just quick note to those who do go that the pies are a bit underwhelming.

Yelp
This is the most delicious vegan buffalo chicken pizza that I've had in the city yet. I would honestly get this pizza instead of "regular" pizza it's so good. Fresh ingredients and quick turn around time give this upscale feeling pizza joint an east coast vibe. & remember... you didn't eat it if you didn't tag stay eatin' bruh!
