You cannot go wrong with Cry Baby Creamery. Their ice cream and cookies are incredible and my family and I love everything they make. Its worth noting that they are also incredibly kind and hard working people. Their cookies are my family's "Happy Food." During a particularly hard day, when I placed an order online and they didn't have the quantity of a type of cookie I wanted (it was the end of the day), they not only gave me a discounted rate, but through in what seemed like a metric ton of additional goodies. I could not recommend them more. Great food. Good people.

Google
We have not been disappointed with the ice cream here some much variety! The aesthetic and cleanliness is so pleasing! Let’s not forget the huge yummy cookies. Can’t wait to go back.

We went here on a Wednesday afternoon. I ordered the Viva Pastelito (guava pastelito bits), my daughters order the London Fog (Earl Gray, vanilla bean, and honey). Everything was delicious. The prices are reasonable. We each got a small and our total bill was $14. Parking is a headache. The interior is a cute, mid century vibe.

Google
The ice cream is delicious and so are the cookies. The service is great. The employees are very friendly and nice. But I’m not gonna lie, I can’t believe they no longer have my favorite flavor, Veruca Salt. I literally crave this flavor on a daily. PLEASE BRING IT BACK! I want to cry like a “cry baby”

Google
We love pastelitos ice cream was so delicious. Clean store and friendly and nice employees.

Google
The ice cream is creamy and good, however I went Saturday May 24th after dinner and they were out of sugar cones. Since we liked the ice cream so much we decided to go back on Sunday evening the 25th, this time they were out of all cones which I understood because it was late in the evening. But what was upsetting after we decided to still buy ice cream we sat down and at 959pm a guy that works there litterly told us that they closed in a minute pretty much telling us to leave. Unacceptable.

Google
Unassuming location means you could easily miss this hidden gem. Lots of fun flavors. Super yummy ice cream... But what you may not know is their Chocolate chip cookies were amazing. This location is also conveniently located next to a sister restaurant. So if you need a meal first and then delicious dessert after you can get both in one outing.

I’m a big cookie lover and these genuinely have to be some of the best! Had the guava, birthday cake, tripe chocolate, and ooey gooey.

Yelp
I liked the options for all the different flavors. I haven't tried them all, but would come back to try them again. We had the flan brulee (which appears to be seasonal) and a brownie one (cannot find the name on the menu), plus a s'mores cookie (also on their winter menu) and it all tasted soooo good. I hope they can start expanding their menu to create a combination of the baked goods and ice cream (THAT WOULD BE FANTASTIC!!), but we'll still be coming back. EDIT TO REPLY TO OWNER: oh, I am definitely returning to try those! Not sure how we missed it on the website, but that's good to know. It is certainly a cute spot and the products were great. People kept asking us where we got the ice cream from, so we recommended your place. Thank you!

Illy I.

Yelp
We were craving cookies and wanted to try them out. they were genuinely so good!!! We got 4 cookies: 2 birthday cake, 1 s'mores, and 1 peanut butter. The s'mores were definitely my favorite. The cookies are soft and chewy and the marshmallow/cookie ratio was perfect!!! Probably my favorite s'mores cookie I've had. The birthday cake and peanut butter cookies were just as good. These are much better than all of those other cookie brands. I was really surprised!

Melissa M.

Yelp
10/10!!!! Been here a couple of times and their ice cream is amazing. The girls are always really nice and helpful with their recommendations. Great spot to take a date, family time, or even a pit stop for a scoop or two. My favs: Bourbon Bread Pudding (ice cream), Milk & Cookies (ice cream), Ooey Gooey (cookie). Ooey Gooey is by far one of the best cookies I've ever had.

Mad R.

Yelp
I know this place is an ice cream place and they have delicious flavors but this review is about their cookies. The cookies there are absolutely phenomenal. My favorite by far is the chocolate chip cookie with sea salt - it is delicious !! I would go back every day if I could. The s'mores is my second favorite. They really captured the essence of s'mores without it being over whelming. The other cookies are just as good- peanut butter and confetti. We tried the chocolate cupcake - which I have like an 7/10. The frosting was delicious but it wasn't anything special- the cake itself was a little dry. The service there is always nice and fast. The way the decorated the inside of the restaurant is so cute. Definitely worth going and trying everything !

Madelin F.

Yelp
Great ice cream and the most delicious pizza ever! I recommend it very highly. We got one to go. I did notice that it had a very casual nice ambiance which was perfect

Karla E.

Yelp
Cute little ice cream shop! Stopped here after going to one of the farms for a refreshing treat. It was pretty empty when we got there but by the time we left the line was almost out the door. As my mom would say "les trajimos suerte". I liked the Las Vegas and neon theme. It was pretty cool! The service was great! When we walked in we were greeted by the staff and were helped quickly. We were in a group of 6 plus Wilson, and the staff was understanding and patient. They let us try whatever flavors we wanted! They had a seasonal bourbon flavor! I ended up getting the "milk & cookies" flavor. It was so good! Not too sweet either. All in all, everyone loved their ice cream, cookies, and brownies! It's a small location, so seating is limited. We sat in a bench outside. It's also connected to a beer & pizza restaurant. Plenty of parking.

Hannah Nicole C.

Yelp
Always a treat coming here! Right next to Maxwell Bros (def try their pizza too) Cry Baby always hits the spot. With so many different flavors (try them all if you must!) you're bound to find one that fits your taste! I always get a boxcar which is their chocolate chip ice cream sandwich with Oreo ice cream. SO GOOD. I'm a sucker for ice cream sandwiches and this HITS every time. I've tried their pint of happy camper and I also looooove that flavor. Stop by and find your favorite flavor! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, and the vibe is great.

Alexandra V.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! One of my favorite ice cream spots in Miami! They offer many options to choose from such as ice cream, cookies, milkshakes, ice cream sandwiches and more. They have great ice cream choices that are always rotating but they always have their original core flavors. They also offer vegan flavor options so everyone has something they can choose from. The cookies are to die for and so many options to choose from. Always so fresh, soft and sometimes they can even warm them up for you. A perfect pair with their ice cream. A must try if you are in the area!

Joann F.

Yelp
Always love a great time and we came to crybaby for their Taylor swift trivia night! Such a fun event and the staff was so accommodating. The frozen drinks were delicious and the ice cream was delicious! The guayaba cookies are always a favorite of mine. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Garlic bread is top notch as well as the pizza! Love the out of the world decor and the laid back feel of the place overall.

Sergio G.

Yelp
Awesome products have ordered multiple times and have never been disappointed. Ice cream, ice cream sandwiches or the cookies all good new and creative. Easy to recommend.

Iszzy Fernanda R.

Yelp
Their vegan ice cream is delicious! Also tried the espumita ice cream (coffee) flavor. It was so good I couldn't get a picture. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice as well. Very 90's

Fernanda G.

Yelp
Nice place with a cool concept, but the ice cream flavors are too sweet for my taste.

Magaly P.

Yelp
The place is 5 stars for atmosphere and service. We had one person with a nut allergy. They started with a clean scoop. They also have a book which lists allergens except they couldn't tell me if the bourbon ice cream with bread pudding was nut free so we skipped that one. We got the party animal and bean to cone. The party animal is fun and delicious. A green ice cream with sprinkles and animal crackers. The bean to cone is a chocolate but tasted bitter. I was not a fan. Looking forward to trying other flavors though. They have lots of choices plus cookies. It's attached to a pizza parlor we haven't tried but putting it on the list. It looked interesting. Highly recommend and another local business to support.

Vanessa L.

Yelp
It is such a bold statement, but I want to say this is the best ice-cream shop in Miami. There I said it. The ice-cream here is superb. They always have an array of different flavors available to purchase. You can always get it to go as well as they have the flavors behind the counter in a cooler in the front of the store. I have had almost every flavor and they all taste as they are described. The first flavor I ever tried with the pastelito de guayaba icecream. The ice-cream has flakes of pastry in it. It mimicked a pastelito perfectly. Again all the flavors are amazing!!! The shop does make specialty cakes to order as well as cookies. Let's get into the cookies. Best cookies... OMG They are these chunky cookies that are stuffed with flavor. They are crispy and soft on the inside which is my favorite. I can only describe them as divine. My favorite is the chocolate chip, and they have a butter/sugar cookie that is so good. Best part is they have a pizza shop next door with amazing beer. You really can't go wrong coming here.

Shawn H.

Yelp
Great option for dessert after eating pizza next door. Their ice cream is good but I liked the homemade ice cream sandwich better. It's chocolate chip cookies as the bread and Oreo cookie ice cream as the filler. Service is fast and friendly. Seating is extremely limited, if you are eating dinner next door, keep your seats there for a more comfortable seating experience. Fairly detain they're owned by the same people so don't worry.

Tazeen S.

Yelp
During our short trip to Miami, we stumbled upon a gem: ice cream sandwiches! While I dabbled with regular scoops, it was the ice cream sandwiches that stole the show. I opted for the boxcar, and wow, it was a classic and perfection! Highly recommend diving into the world of ice cream sandwiches - they truly deserve the award for the best treat in the area. Oh and the person who helped me was so sweet. Shoutout to Kaitlyn who helped me twice when I was there. Once for ice cream and second time I stumbled upon crybaby when I looked up pizza and got to that plaza again. She was so helpful and genuinely sweet. It's rare to see school/uni peep being just genuinely helpful and sweet and no attitude. Thanks gal.

Geraldine D.

Yelp
The ice cream here is the delicious and they have the best and most creative rotating flavors. By far the Boxcar cookie sandwich is my favorite! I always have to buy more than one when I can as they go quick.

Leah W.

Yelp
This ice cream shop is so unique and always has a flavor for everyone! The ice cream and baked goods are delicious. The portions are worth the price. Cry Baby offers seasonal flavors for those who need more variety in their life. No matter how busy they are, you can always get a taste of whatever flavors are available. I love that their open until 10pm!

George M.

Yelp
If this place was in Wynwood, people would be talking about it as if it reinvented the wheel. Super interesting ice cream flavors ina really cool setting. They have the normals but they also have sweet potato and pumpkin pie ice cream to get your eyebrows going crazy

Kassandra G.

Yelp
What a cute cookie shop! Tucked away in Palmetto Bay, but worth the drive! Every cookie is delicious and they have fun ice cream flavors too! The shop has such a perfect picture vibe and everything is great!

Annette F.

Yelp
Stopped in for some late night ice cream and it was delicious. I got the Dough Boi and it was pretty rich, but exactly what I was looking for. They let you sample as many flavors as you would like. Despite being busy, they attended to us very quickly. I also tried the chocolate chip cookie. Wow! Probably the fluffiest cookie I've ever had. Even though it was thick, it was not cakey, which is what I find usually happens with thick cookies. Since it was a Friday night, there was live music at Maxwell's and you could also sit and listen on the ice cream side too. The decor is very retro with red diner booths and neon lights. It's perfect for a date night, family outing, or catching up with friends. Cry Baby is in Palmetto Bay which I don't normally find myself visiting, but as more places like this pop up, I have even more reasons to come back!

Karen N.

Yelp
We came here to go to Maxwells. They were closed for a private event. I can't say we drove all the way down here for a loss, cause look what's next door? My daughter saw that I had bookmarked this place so she was hoping this was going to be a win. They have a small section of ice cream and homemade cookies. I opted for the Chocolate Chip Cookie. This is a very good cookie with a nice touch of shaved sea salt.

Lucy S.

Yelp
The best ice cream in Miami. This place has a great vibe and even better playlist of music coming from the pizza shop next door. Definitely recommend to drop in anytime with the kids for a quick dessert. And the cookies are AMAZING!!!!

Christina O.

Yelp
If you're wondering if you should try this place, the answer is YES!!!! On top of having the coolest vibe, decor, and staff - the food is amazing. I had the snap crackle pop and the the party animal. The snap crack pop had pieces of Rice Krispies in it! The party animal was a really nice colored green and it tasted so creamy with bursts of sprinkles hidden.

Makayla W.

Yelp
I love the cookies. I always get the ooey gooey cookie. The service is pretty good, and quick. It's a chill environment.

Yelp
Cry Baby Creamery is the ice cream parlor attached to Maxwell Bros. Clothing Store. The spot was occupied by Sweet Melody when the pizzeria opened but they left in September presenting an opportunity for Lincoln's Beard Brewery owner John Falco who also owns the pizza place next door to try something new. A beer brewer by trade, he got into the frozen treat business by creating dessert pairings for his beer. Some of his mad genius was to make beer floats with fruit infused popsicles at his brewery. When Sweet Melody moved out Falco felt ready to dive into ice cream. The area was already set up for an ice cream business and he tapped Miami-based Freaks Design Co.to execute his vision of a speakeasy with Las Vegas lounge vibes. The result is a very cool space to satisfy your sweet tooth. During my visit small batch artisan ice cream flavors included Party Animal, a neon green concoction with frosting, sprinkles, and animal crackers, Gimme S'More, roasted marshmallow ice cream milk chocolate chunks, and homemade graham crackers, Veruca Salt, fleur de sel ice cream with homemade caramel, Snake Eyes, vanilla ice cream with chocolate flakes and chocolate chips, and Nanner Pudding, banana ice cream, banana jam swirls, and nilla wafers. Everything looked so good and it was so hard to decide. Any ice cream can be turned into a milk shake and not that you need them but ice cream toppings include guava and caramel swirl, hot fudge, honey nut pralines, and waffle cone crumbles. Sprinkles are always on the house. I finally chose a scoop of The Upside Down, a roasted pineapple ice cream with dark cherry swirl, and butterscotch soaked cake topped with a scoop Lychee Dreams, lychee sorbet made with lychees from Dan Dee Farms which also supplies the mangos for their Mango Dan ice cream. The flavors of the lychee sorbet and the pineapple ice cream were out of this world. I am still bitter that I didn't have enough room to start on some of their ice cream sandwiches like Sticky Fingers made with brownies and vanilla ice cream, Boxcar, a chocolate chip cookie and Oreo ice cream, and the one that I was most interested in Berry Nice, a lemon pound cake with mixed berry ice cream. A gentleman sitting at the table next to me bought one of every kind of ice cream sandwich and was happily going to town. Oh and don't forget the Southernmost Slice, a sort of key lime ice cream pie made with a graham cracker crust and lime pie ice cream. If all of those ice cream treats haven't blown your mind yet, they also sell brownies and cookies. Plus there is incredible pizza and beer at Maxwell's which is just steps away through the connecting sliding barn door. Quiet honestly, this place doesn't look like much from the outside but trust me, the plain exterior is hiding a foodies dream. John Falco going into the dessert business was a brilliant idea. He knocked it out of the park with Cry Baby.

Jenny P.

Yelp
The ice cream was delicious!!! Cookies weren't that great! I like that the location is actually connected to the pizza restaurant in the corner so you are able to listen to the live music. Service was good, employees helped with recommendations. Do not waste your money on the cookies just go straight for the ice creams. I don't know if it was the day that I went but the cookies were burned, not tasty at all, I was sad about that

Lina F.

Yelp
What a great variety of ice cream flavors. Unique combinations and great names. They also have ice cream sandwiches called box cars that I can't wait to come back and try. They are rectangular shaped, chocolate chip cookies with Oreo cookie dough ice cream in between. Definitely recommend. Employees are friendly and happy to let you sample the flavors before you choose.

Krys P.

Yelp
I was really crestfallen when Sweet, oh Sweet, Melody closed down months ago in this location, so I was not quite ready to come in to try this new place yet, despite all my friends telling me how good it is. Finally, finding myself in the area with a little room to spare for dessert, I headed to this place to give it a try. Instead of pastel cuteness, the place now sparks a fancy Las Vegas vibe along with a chandelier and black walls. As the newest venture from the owners of Lincoln Brewery, you can expect the ice cream to be created with the same energy they work on their beers - fun, creative flavors, quality, local ingredients and delicious flavors. In fact, the ice cream was so delicious it made me want to cry. The pineapple Upside Down is so good, and the Dough Boi has a touch of salt in the dough that very nicely balanced out the sweetness. The lychee sorbet is rich in lychee flavor but I prefer the creaminess of ice cream. They also have brownies, cookies and ice cream sandwiches. But that will wait for another day when I have a bigger appetite.

Danielle F.

Yelp
Stopped here after Pintos Farm and the ice cream was delish. I cannot remember the names of the flavors but I wanted them all. They also have these really awesome cookies that look like muffins and they are soft and chewy but full of the best flavors, especially the Mari's cookie and guava. It is connected to this pizza place but has its own entrance, but it is tiny in there. You may have to take yours to go but it is totally worth it. They even had prepackaged flavors to go, but I opted for the fresh stuff. The service is fast and friendly and they let you try before you buy. So get a sample before making a final decision, but I don't see you going wrong with any flavor!!!

Ashley K.

Yelp
This place is really fun and cute! The ice cream was good I had the bunny bait and milk and cookies. The bunny bait was a bit too sweet but the flavor was soooooo good and the milk and cookies was the perfect sweetness. The service was great and super fast! I loved the fact that they had pints to go. Definitely a place to check out if you're in the area.

Luis Felipe Z.

Yelp
Funky little creamery next to Maxwell Clothing Store (Pizzeria). They don't have your classic flavors. It was my first time going there and after seeing a long line to order and all tables occupied I knew this was going to be good. I wasn't wrong. The line moved pretty quick and it was my time to order. My wife had two scoops of key lime pie and passion fruit pavlova, my daughter had a scoop of grape ice cream with blueberry and strawberry rocks and a scoop of chocolate, and I had the Espumita boss which is a coffee ice cream. I love everything key lime and coffee, so those were my favorite flavors. The passion fruit pavlova was very good but didn't really taste the pavlova. Then the grape ice cream surprised me, I wasn't expecting it to be that good! Oh, and I was forgetting that I ordered a triple chocolate cookie for me!!! That was exquisite as it had salt on top and I love the mix of sweet and salty. Very soft cookie too! I will definitely go back to try other ice creams and baked stuff. 100% recommended if you like different flavors!

Nasha W.

Yelp
A great place to come for dessert after eating pizza next door. It was our first time visiting and they were so patient and friendly when our kids couldn't figure it what flavor to get. By the way, they have such awesome icecream flavors and their names are so clever. Thank you for awesome ice cream and customer service.

K J.

Yelp
The freshest, creamiest ice cream I have ever had with amazingly creative flavors. I'm not even that much of an ice cream fan but this place is crave worthy. And OMG the cookies... so soft and delicious. Great service, clean. Great for families. But please bring back the Girl Dinner flavor!!!

Darci P.

Yelp
Very cool ice cream shop in Palmetto Bay. We don't really have many local places down here. The shop was filled with families but the staff kept the lines moving. They have familiar and funky flavors. Definitely something for everyone! I got Milk & Cookies with sprinkles. Sprinkles are free so of course had to try them. Liked how the ice cream had Oreos and regular cookie chunks. There are cookies and ice cream sandwiches too. They also have pints of ice cream to take home.

manny d.

Yelp
We had stopped here for ice cream, which was great. The bonus was the pizza place next door which we did take out. Our picky kids loved the crust and the tomato sauce on the pie.

Sary P.

Yelp
Very unique flavors but the few i tried were delicious. But I went with cookies and cream..so good! I recommend this place.

Samantha M.

Yelp
This place reminds me of Cold Stone but better. Supper good. And a lot of variety. Perfect treat form time to time

Katherine P.

Yelp
Cry Baby Creamery is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Palmetto Bay. As soon as I stepped inside, I was captivated by the charming decor. The shop's cozy and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. As for the ice cream. I opted for the bean to cone which ended up being amazing and milk and cookies flavor, and it did not disappoint. The first bite was a symphony of flavors. The chocolate was velvety and rich, perfectly complemented by the subtle notes of coffee. The milk and cookies had pieces of chocolate chip cookies and bites of oreos which made each bite have a different taste to it. One thing that stood out to me was the creaminess of the ice cream. It was so smooth and luscious making every bite a pleasure. The staff was also in good spirits and treated me kindly.

Carolina S.

Yelp
SO GOOD! The pints are the same price as a triple scoop and you can easily put it away and finish it later the vibe is so cool in there as well they did an amazing job decorating it. Bonus if you walk back to the bathroom you can see the kitchen area where it's made

Odalys M.

Yelp
Love this ice cream parlor, lots of options to choose from, will come back again soon!

Farah C.

Yelp
I ordered pizza from maxwell brothers and my order was not ready yet so I went next door and saw it was an ice cream parlor. The staff was very inviting to try there flavors which the three that I tasted was very good. Since I was having pizza I wanted to keep it simple and just decided to grab their ice cream sandwich called "sticky finger." When I got home and tried it this was the best ice cream sandwich I have ever had. I did not want to finish it off all in one setting so I ate some of it that night and left the rest for the next day. It is absolutely delicious and I recommend for you to try this baby! You won't be disappointed!

Shaadee A.

Yelp
Delicious stop on our way from Miami to the Everglades! Loved the Ooey Gooey (berry and cream cheese with yellow cake chunks) and the Lemon Up on fresh cake cones. Service was great, with a very patient server who let us sample many flavors. Would love to come back again

Nachi D.

Yelp
Yum-meeeeeee!!!! The staff are welcoming and attentive. The place has simple decor and no frills....it's all about its delicious treats!!!!! My kids love the ice cream variety here and they have not forgotten about the adults' options as well. Their cookies and ice cream sandwiches are absolutely delicious. It's also fun that you can see them baking the goods and make the ice cream through a window. This place is a fun little spot! Lastly, the prices are super reasonable, highly recommend it!

Kristine B.

Yelp
Fun stop for fancy ice creams i got the guava one and it was really tasteful. Great service they let me try a few options which was great as well! It was a quick stop but a great casual spot with connection to the restaurant and nice seating outside. The inside is really pleasant as well.

Belinda B.

Yelp
Four flavors to go...two chocolate chip cookies...great service...appears to be clean... Good eating when we arrived at home..we will return.

Marcia M.

Yelp
The ice cream here is sooooo yummy! So many unique flavors and they all taste amazing! Very creamy and fresh! Each time I visit I try a new flavor. It's also convenient that it's next door to one of my favorite pizza places.

Evelio C.

Yelp
Cool little ice cream shop with creative flavors! It's located in a small shopping plaza with convenient parking. It has a cool vibe and theming. The staff is very nice, they allowed us to sit sample some of the flavors and gave great recommendations. There's seating available inside for you to enjoy your ice cream with the fam. I got The Upside Down on a warm waffle cone. It's Roasted Pineapple Ice Cream, Dark Cherry Swirl, and Butterscotch soaked cake. I'm almost sure it's inspired by Stranger Things. It was a strong flavor, almost a bit on the salty side. The soaked cake was nice. It was an interesting flavor, but I wouldn't get it again. The other flavors were good though! I'd definitely go back soon.
