Best Dishes Eater Houston Editors Ate This Week: March 25 | Eater Houston

"I capped the evening with a mammoth Bull Run burger ($12) at the Galleria location; it featured serrano peppers, fried onions, cayenne pepper hot sauce, shredded Colby Jack cheese, halal beef bacon, and the food truck’s in-house beef patty and spicy FOMO sauce—the FOMO sauce is as sharp as it is spicy and, with satisfying piquancy, cuts through the juicy patty and crunchy, sweet onions, and the spot is one of the few in town offering halal-friendly cheeseburgers and beef bacon." - Kayla Stewart

One of our favourite burger places of all time! Cryptos burgers never disappoint and are always the best of the best! This halal food truck is situated in a lot with many other halal food trucks - so if there’s someone in your group who wants something else, this is a great place to go. And of course it’s a food truck - meaning you’re in for a “eat off your hood or trunk” experience (there’s no seating area) but that adds to the fun :)

Would of love to try the food but when we came to try it out there wasn't a truck, google said it was open. We circled around to see if we had the address wrong but we couldn't find them at all. Maybe the location shut down but as of right now this address is inaccurate. Ill have to try their clear lake location and come back to give a true review.

My burger wasn't thoroughly cooked. I didn't like that at all. The fries were overly salted, yet they lacked seasoning. All in all, I can get a cheaper and more tasty burger elsewhere. I wasn't satisfied and wouldn't return.

Best burger in Houston. So they have 7 kinds of burgers and till now we have tried 4: NFT Burger, Bull Run Burger, Bunqua Burger and The Brekky. Recently they have added another one to their menu "El Jefe" which is supposed to be the spiciest one. Can't wait to try this one. The plus side is it's all Halal. Nowadays if we are craving for burgers, we come here.

Was about to leave 5 stars untill I found a beetle in my 13 dollar fries! Food is amazing, but this had to ruin it all! Improve the sanitation in there and you'll see me there everyday!

I discovered this food truck in the Moosa Colony Food Court this evening when leaving my barbershop. I've seen these food trucks earlier in the day but they were always closed before. Crypto Burger opens at 5pm and is open until Midnight or 4am on Thursday - Sunday. I was not in the mood for a full burger but I wanted to try something from this food truck. I ordered the Spicy Metaverse Monster Fries. There was nothing virtual about these fries. These fries are packing that real heat! Whether it's the universe, the metaverse or the multiverse, these fries are the real deal. Packed with flavor and enough heat to make you grab the nearest fire hose. The fries were crispy. Topped with seasoned ground beef, Serrano peppers, FOMO sauce, hot sauce, cayenne pepper and parsley, your boy was heating up like NBA Jam! Don't have FOMO but come get this FOMO sauce and these fries! Ordering is simple. Just use the touch screen choose your option and pay. You will receive a call/text when it's ready. The service was quick and polite. Order was ready in 10 minutes. I can't wait to return and try a burger.

This is definitely a meat lover's burger place, especially since it's halal. The food is fresh, and the portion is good. The Uber eats driver said he was almost getting one for himself, according to the pictures and the smell. However, I personally think probably add some tomatoes or other veggies in their burgers. They do add grill or fried onions and mushrooms in some of their burgers, but It's too greasy with patties and cheeses. Another part is that the price is a little high in my opinion, I ordered because Uber eats have buy one get one free promotion. Overall, it's worth trying.
