Crypto Burger Food Truck (Sugar Land)

Late-night burger craving hit, so my wife and I decided to check out Crypto Burger, located in the Moosa Colony food truck park in Sugar Land. The area has several trucks lined up, but since it was late, the place was pretty dead—no long lines and plenty of parking. We ordered the single smash “Crypto” burger to give it a try. They offer different styles and options—regular or smash patties, single or double—which is a nice touch. Our order came out in about 5–8 minutes, which was pretty fast. I paired it with their homemade lemonade, priced at $5. Now to the burger itself: it was tiny—almost kid-sized for what you’re paying. But to be fair, it was flavorful. The patty was well-seasoned, the tzatziki-style sauce on the “Crypto” version added a unique twist, and the bun was soft and fresh. It wasn’t exactly my style of burger, but it still tasted great overall. The one major downside was the tables—every single one was filthy. Not sure who’s in charge of cleaning them, but it definitely took away from the experience a bit. In the end, I’d say Crypto Burger delivers on taste, though the portions and cleanliness could use some improvement. A solid late-night bite if you’re in the area and want to try something different.

Tried out their new hot dogs most recently and can say, hands down, the best hot dogs in Houston! 🌭🤟🏽 Whenever eating here something that you can easily feel through the food is just how much they truly understand various different flavor profiles/textures and how to perfectly balance it all together. Would easily recc👌🏽 make sure to get at least 2 when you try them out !

Great burgers , the fries were dry though and unseasoned . The best thing, it is open till 2-3am on weekends. Maybe everyday. The area Moosa colony has such a fun vibe.

Crypto Burger was my go-to burger spot during most of the pandemic. Loved the fresh concept and the creative topping combinations that gave their burgers a unique and memorable twist. One of the coolest aspects was that they accepted crypto as a form of payment—definitely stood out for that. It’s been a while since my last visit, but the experience and flavors stuck with me. I’m definitely planning to go back soon to see what they’ve got on the menu now.

Tried Crypto Burger Food Truck and it did NOT disappoint! I went for their “El Hefe” burger, and wow—this one is for the real spice lovers. It’s bold, fiery, and packed with flavor. The heat kicks in fast, but in the best way. If you enjoy spicy food, this burger is an absolute must-try. Another huge plus—they’re open until 4 AM every day! Perfect late-night spot when you’re craving something fresh, hot, and delicious. Great food, great flavor, and super convenient hours🔥🍔

Crypto Burger didn’t really impress me. The burger was super sloppy and honestly hard to eat without making a mess. The prices are way too high for what you get. That said, if you’re into spicy beef burgers, it might still be worth trying once just to see if it hits your vibe.

Tried each one of the glizzys and they were amazing. The htown was my favorite and definitely gives yo-yos a run for their money

I’m sorry but $18 for a burger is crazy. I actually went to go order it on DoorDash and they’re having a “special” buy one get one free for $22 😂. The owner has to be an Indian of some sorts. No Texan American is robbing you like this. The other burgers that don’t have a “special” are $16-$18. This is the craziest thing ive ever seen. The prices don’t include fries or a drink neither. If you want to order fries it’ll be $7. What a shame. A company providing food at these prices is outrageous. Anyone who eats here should think real hard at the amount of money you’ve spent here.

Picked up the Brekky Burger & chowed down at home, and it was absolutely yummilicious! They need to start a chain and go national! Wish they were available for lunch too! Happy Yelping!

I discovered this food truck in the Moosa Colony Food Court this evening when leaving my barbershop. I've seen these food trucks earlier in the day but they were always closed before. Crypto Burger opens at 5pm and is open until Midnight or 4am on Thursday - Sunday. I was not in the mood for a full burger but I wanted to try something from this food truck. I ordered the Spicy Metaverse Monster Fries. There was nothing virtual about these fries. These fries are packing that real heat! Whether it's the universe, the metaverse or the multiverse, these fries are the real deal. Packed with flavor and enough heat to make you grab the nearest fire hose. The fries were crispy. Topped with seasoned ground beef, Serrano peppers, FOMO sauce, hot sauce, cayenne pepper and parsley, your boy was heating up like NBA Jam! Don't have FOMO but come get this FOMO sauce and these fries! Ordering is simple. Just use the touch screen choose your option and pay. You will receive a call/text when it's ready. The service was quick and polite. Order was ready in 10 minutes. I can't wait to return and try a burger.

The metaverse fries are very underwhelming, basic, poor quality, not creative, and pathetic. The fries are extremely greasy and seem to be from Restaurant Depot. The least that they could do is use good quality fries like the ones Nara Cafe or Cafe Layal use (crispy and well battered). Instead, Crypto Burger uses soggy bland fries that are saturated in oil. Additionally, they put no effort into the toppings- they just throw some ground beef on fries and some sauce. There are no added onions, cheese, greens, or anything to give the flavor some diversity. Big L.

I tried the bull run burger, and it was enjoyable. The burger meat itself felt a little thinner and more on the well done side, but I loved the toppings. The combo is a pretty good price compared to the rest of trucks, and the fries were well seasoned and crispy. Service was quick, and you can use a tablet to order. It's also located in a nice food truck community, which gives everyone plenty of choices to eat from.

Ordered a couple of the Satoshi Burgers and The Brekky. The Satoshi Burger was amazing and that beef bacon was delicious. That BBQ sauce was good too. The Brekky didn't hit as hard as far as flavors go but was still delectable. Would of given this place 5 stars but found a little piece of mold on my brother's burger bun. He just ripped that bad boy off and went to town. He enjoyed that Satoshi Burger very much! It's hot as hell in Houston so eating outside in the summer can be unbearable. Wish the tables had umbrellas to give off shade and were much cleaner. Parking can be difficult if you don't arrive early.

DEFINITELY MOST DELICIOUS & JUICIEST BURGERS IN TOWN! Oh and they're halal so even better. Every time we go they never disappoint, their portions are huge! If you haven't been definitely check them out.

Super pricy for what was smaller than whataburger but that's normal for food trucks. Flavors were great and tasted like a good homemade patty melt. The fries were the star of the show Basically gyro over fries with white sauce. Little bit too much buffalo sauce for my taste but was still good and satisfies any late night munchies

I am absolutely in love with these burgers! The flavor is out of this world, and the service? Let me tell you, it's top-notch! The staff went above and beyond; I was a bit indecisive about what to order, but the worker was so patient and helpful, offering great recommendations despite the place being bustling with customers. Honestly, if they opened a branch in Richmond, I'd be over the moon! But you know what? I'll happily make the drive because the quality of both the food and the service here is totally worth it. Count me in for a return visit, no doubt about it!

Food was fire! The burger and the patty melt were just too good. All of the items are halal which is great for those with dietary restrictions. There's ample seating in the food trucks area to enjoy your burger fresh. If I had more room I would have also tried the fries but I figured it's best to leave some things undone so I can go back and try other items. You have to try this spot for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

A horrible meal, my wife and I got sick, gave us diarrhea and vomit, we were sick for , we paid $43for some French fries and 2 hamburgers

Solid burgers at this food truck. They're definitely on the larger side IMO, in contrary to what a previous reviewer wrote. We tried the NFT (mushrooms onion and cheese) the regular cheese burger (with their unique FOmO sauce and pickles along w cheese and tomatoes) and the BBQ bacon burger (beef bacon). The first 2 were delicious the last one didn't really hit the spot for us. Too salty and didn't care for the bbq sauce w beef bacon and onion rings it was just too much going on. The burgers took about 15 min to come out so not bad. Would recommend if you're in the area and looking for a juicy burger w delicious sauces that aren't greasy! Fries were delicious too. The three burgers (2 were combos) cost us around 45$ so not cheap but the taste was worth it!

I didn't get a photo of the burger unfortunately because I was too busy inhaling it!! They had so many great options it was hard for me to choose at first. But I started off with the mushroom burger and when I tell you the sauces they use is absolutely delicious, I'm not kidding. That thing did not last 8 minutes on my plate and I was talking to someone while eating I also love that they are open super late I left a bar right before going over there and it was like midnight. So it really did save me from my starvation. I cannot recommend them enough they need their own restaurant! And this is one of the few spots I don't mind paying over $10 for a burger

If you are looking for a savory halal burger and loaded fries in the Sugar Land, TX area, look no further. Crypto burger really hit the spot for a good fast food burger and loaded fries. The only reason I give it 4/5 and not 5/5 is because the burger was much smaller than I expected, it looked so much bigger in photos. The price was steep for a small burger - $12! I've had similar burgers in food carts in places like Chicago for slightly less. I still highly recommend checking out Crypto Burger, it was a very delicious cheat meal.

Salaam, if you guys are craving a nice juicy American burger search no more! I stumbled across this place during my roadtrip from Florida. I arrived pretty late at night with my siblings and casually met the owner while looking at the menu. He was incredibly personable and explained the whole menu to us in detail. We ended up trying the Satoshi, BullRun and the Bunqua burger (DISCLAIMER: the latter 2 are kinda hot if you're not used to desi spice) we also got the Spicy Metaverse fries to share for 3 and It was definitely enough to satisfy our late night cravings. If you've never been to this food truck area, the ambiance is similar to a food festival there are many different options to choose from and there are benches to sit down and enjoy your meal.

Good and service is inconsistent. Last time I went there was two people working who didn't give much attention to me as a customer. For example when they called my name I went to grab my food. The lady saw me walk up made eye context multiple times but I finally had to be vocal to get acknowledgment and my food. The burgers are good but the service based on who is working can be either good or fairly poor.

Best mf burger I've had!!!! I went to the food truck on Alabama and Montrose I can't rmeber the name of the guy who helped me but he was crazy friendly and passionate about the food!!! I ordered the bunqua burger and I have nothing bad to say!!! The party was seasoned well and juicy to the sauces to the cheese to the fact that this burger had some real spice and flavor!!! And the white sauce on the side was even amazing 10/10 I will be back!

I ordered the bunqua burger and let me tell you this burger was an absolute 10/10. I added an extra patty because most burger places are stingy with the beef. Usually I take down the burger but this was one of the rare times where the burger took me down. Great customer service and very polite. Definitely will be getting my business again soon.

At review number 6 I will say this. EAT HERE NOW! Honestly one of the best burgers I've had in years! What a gem! I got "the Brekky" and I probably need to go to church, cause it's got to be a SIN to eat that good! Low-key diamond in the rough, the flavor of the burgers and buns are incredible and fries a perfect golden deliciousness and THAT FOMO SAUCE! YOOOOOOOOOO GARLIC AIOLI ON FIRE! The boys running the show seem like some good dudes too! Thank you!

This place use to be my favorite food truck burger joint. Now I'm just disappointed. If you gonna buy a burger at this truck don't add extra stuff to the burger the extra stuff is very pathetic. I paid for extra beef bacon, extra onion and mushrooms for the Satoshi burger. That's an additional $3 on top of the price for the burger. That's supposed to come with two pinion rings and 2 slices of bacon as far as I remember that's the normal burger. Now is only one small onion ring and one slice of bacon. Don't get me wrong there burgers good. But I don't think is worth what they are priced at. And the couple eating next to us they feel the same way so I know it's not just me. Very disappointed. I don't think Ill be coming back.

Was craving a burger. This place is legit. We got the bunqua and the satoshi with a side of huge fries. Everything was delicious. Well-seasoned and piping hot. Will come back!!

This a food truck burger spot. I like the bunqua burger, but I think you can enjoy it even more without the hot sauce. It's a really flavorful burger even without it. The fomo sauce is a good garlic sauce that you get at Mediterranean restaurants.

I can have a good burger any time, any day. That being said, I absolutely love this place! My go-to is the Bunqua burger. It's always cooked perfectly, and the grilled jalapeños and sauces add so much flavor. Crypto burger never disappoints, definitely give them a try!

Awesome burger. Had heard many great things and it lives up to the hype. Burger is more traditional, not smash burger style. Pickles are plenty, bun is sweet and burger has a salty crust. Really great combo. If I didn't live far away, I'd be here very often.

I had the Satoshi burger and my friend the Bunqua burger. my burger was very juicy and I particularly loved the addition of the onion ring for the crunch. Bacon in my burger was hard to break off but otherwise one of the best burgers I've had! I tried my friend's burger and it was delicious but not too spicy. It had a nice kick to it and a different flavor profile than the Satoshi.

Their bacon has a nasty texture. Its not crispy but instead very chewy and stringy. It really doesn't work and ruins an otherwise delicious burger. Too bad they still charge the same price if you ask to have the bacon removed on the menu items. Otherwise, everything else is really yummy!

First time eating it tonight, and I have never been more satisfied with my meal. My usual issue is that the beef patty has a smell, which is why I always stick to chicken. However this places Pattie's don't have that smell and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I got the bunqua burger and it was a perfect balance of spicy and juicy!!

i love crypto burger sm, the service is good & the wait is usually kinda long but it's so worth it when you get your huge juicy & flavorful burger. This truck really attracts a fun and calm vibe, and it's unlike any other burgers nearby as its flavors are significantly more unique & adventurous to bring an enjoyable meal.

This truck has the best burgers, we had the bunqua burger with fries and it was amazing! Packed with flavor! I love their sauces and the burger is super juicy. Also great customer service- I asked for extra jalapeños on the side and they were really nice about it. Def a must try if you're in H Town and ESP if you also eat halal.

Owner was very nice and food was BOMB!! I will definitely be back! I order they patty melt which was very good, while my partner had the brekky burger, although pricey; most certainly worth it!
