"Downtown LA’s Joyce, located less than a mile from Crypto.com Arena, has all the makings of a fun night out. This place is downright festive with curated art by upcoming Black artists, a room that overlooks Grand Avenue with Charleston, South Carolina vibes. The kitchen prepares creative spins on crawfish hushpuppies, chilled seafood platters, and buttermilk-marinated catfish paired with zero-waste cocktails." - Mona Holmes

"On October 11, Crypto.com Arena debuted a restaurant where every dish centers around Doritos. Doritos After Dark is only available to ticketholders during scheduled events at the Downtown LA arena and serves Doritos-flavored foods, including ice cream dipped in chocolate and rolled in Doritos Nacho Cheese. The space is filled with neon Doritos-like triangles, tables, and dishes like a margarita with a Flamin’ Hot Limon Doritos rim, a burrito with Spicy Chili Doritos, and Doritos nachos with brisket and barbecue sauce. Doritos After Dark temporarily launched in 2022 in New York and LA via third-party delivery apps. On November 15, Doritos After Dark will open to the public for free and one night only before Sabrina Carpenter’s Crypto.com Arena performance at Peacock Place adjacent to L.A. Live." - Mona Holmes
"By comparison, Crypto.com Arena concessions were referenced as being priced at $15 and up." - Matthew Kang
"As a major downtown venue, Crypto.com Arena hosts celebrity-studded concerts and sporting events—depending on the season you can catch the Lakers, Clippers, or Kings—and staying nearby puts you within easy walking distance to many events." - Keyla Vasconcellos
"Undergoing a massive multi-year renovation per the Los Angeles Times and others, the 23-year-old building (formerly Staples Center) is being modernized with plans for seamless indoor-outdoor spaces, upgraded luxury suites, and improved concessions and food-and-drink areas throughout the property; AEG, which owns the arena, is reportedly putting in a nine-figure capital investment, construction has already begun, and work is expected to continue for the next two years as part of an effort to keep up with newer venues like SoFi Stadium and the future Intuit Dome. It’s unclear if those improvements will meaningfully improve the notoriously mediocre food for average diners, since much of the spending appears focused on premium experiences, though some public-facing spaces and concessions are slated for updates over time." - Farley Elliott
