This is a nice looking place. It's a great atmosphere. I like the fact that they have a little Koi Pond near the front entrance. The staff fairly attentive and were quick to pick up empty plates. A lot of people in the area raved about this place. But I'm not sure why. Because it wasn't the best Chinese. Buffet that I've eaten at and I've eaten at hundreds of buffets like this.. the beef at the stir fry station was very tough. None of the shellfish looked safe to eat, and was cooked down to where there was hardly any meat in it. I i do not overeat at these buffets, usually only 1 or 2 plates, however, I went up for 4 or 5 plates, but only ate a small portion of each of each. I hate wasting food, but most of the food I got was either overcooked or tasteless.

Probably the best buffet around here imho. Ching too good care of us. Food could be hotter. Weekend cost more. Lunch is more of value during the week.

YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY! Fresh fruit! Fresh sushi! Fresh crabs! Fresh veggies! Fresh chicken, ice cream, steak all the goods! I ate about 5 plates this time! I'm not gonna lie, sometimes I go by myself during lunch to stuff my face.. 6 or 7 plates later! It's always delicious! My mom took the pictures this time, but I'll update it when I eat there again ☺️

Google
Let's talk about "DUNGENESS CRAB"!!!! This place was clean and delicious. Huge food selection of just about everything you could want. Fresh Sushi, Fresh Fruits, Fresh Dungeness Crab!!! AND... Everything else was Fresh... They even brought out a new container of chocolate ice cream because I asked. Customer service was phenomenal. We loved the decor and the Koi Fish pond in the front where we fed them fish food too. Clean Bathrooms. Very impressed all around. Thank you for a great meal and a great experience.

Went here for the first time since moving to the area. We typically go to Osuki downtown for AYCE sushi, etc. however, we were pleasantly surprised by all the dining options here. For my first serving, I tried a little of a lot of different items. Most were fresh, hot, and very good, including the sushi/rolls. We went on a weekend around 2:00 and it wasn't very crowded. Server was very friendly. Will definitely come back!

Google
Great time and enjoyed the soups and fried bar the most. Only downside was the raw tuna sushi, had a very interesting texture and didnt feel great that night/next day. Overall would go again hut would avoid the sushi, cheers! Three tables had kids with ipads on so loud, that was just bad parenting, not their fault

Google
We arrived a little before four, the start of the dinner hour. We told the waitress we would like the dinner selections, hoping they would be hot and fresh. We had eaten there before, although the last time was a little over a year ago and we loved it. The soup was hot. Most of the wontons had been picked out but we found the remaining few. Good start, but it went downhill from there. Most of the offerings were left over from lunch, cold and dried out and basically inedible. The few "dinner dishes" were hotter, but many were overcooked and lacked flavor. I don't usually do reviews, but traveling 1 1/2 hours round trip to enjoy a meal that was this disappointing was upsetting. The waitress was excellent, our plates were removed promptly, and our drinks refilled without asking. I know they can do better!

Google
I love going here for the Sushi, hubby loves the Hibachi. Kids love the other menu items. The one thing that stands out is the ice cream. It is large fresh carton ice cream and many flavors. The restaurant is always clean and staff are very kind.

Andrew D.

Yelp
Standard Chinese buffet with a VERY large selection. Also a decent selection of sushi. Attentive waistaff to grab your plates. $20 for the weekend buffet. Not bad for all you can eat Chinese food. Go when you're hungry!
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
This buffet is huge. There are a ton of servers to refill drinks. This restaurant is massive. It was what I expected. We went close to closing and they were a bit more closed down than I would have expected.
google avatar

Nigel M.

Yelp
Best buffet around town always fresh good quality food we always have an amazing meal
google avatar

Karen K.

Yelp
We love this Buffet. It has a large selection that is fresh and replenished often dishes. The Sushi is excellent a step above other Buffets. Mongolian Grill also has a large selection.
google avatar

Bridget H.

Yelp
solid dining experience, there was only a few foods that I was scared of, but most of them that I ate were freaking delicious from the occasional cold one but what do you expect when you go into a buffet it better not be piping hot food made ready just for you. It's gotta be ready for the people so for that I understand that that's why I didn't knock any stars off my review because this place is exactly what you're looking for if you're looking to indulge in some weird buffet this ain't no golden corral and that's a good thing. The servers are sweet and the vibe is weird on the inside, but that makes for a good buffet, the weirder, the vibe, the better the buffet.
google avatar

Elena D.

Yelp
Servers were kind. Food was frequently refilled. Desserts weren't great but all the sushi was very yummy as was the chinese food. The ability to have fresh hibachi as well more the price was awesome.
google avatar

Veronica J.

Yelp
Honestly did not enjoy the experience. We were seated next to the waitress area but went with it. Usually i enjoy the hibachi area and snow crab well they don't have snow crab during dinner which is crazy to me when you are paying the most. The other area I enjoy is the hibachi area and their selections were very limited on the hibachi to the meats onions mushrooms and a few other items. It was disappointing. The rest of it was salty syrupy food that's typical for Chinese but there really weren't any other options not fried. They had green beans but then it was loaded with salt. I know these buffets usually have those items but they usually have more healthy options even on the hibachi. So I barely ate. Definitely would not go again for me.

Renee P.

Yelp
This was not it for me. And it was packed. And I love a good buffet. They did have A lot of selection. But the quality was pretty bad. Had to hunt for the rice and it was not fresh and dried out. Had a dozen of different chicken dishes and only one was decent. Everything was pretty sad looking. And again. This place came with rave reviews and was actually very packed, which means the food should have been fresh. It was all very sloppy and underwhelming.
google avatar

Yelp
Really excellent choice of food at Crystal. There's a LOT of seafood, a good range of entrees and fried sides, sushi and sashimi, and a sizeable offering of desserts as well. The service here is friendly and on the ball, it can get a bit busy but it's really big so you're lonely to get a table with little to no wait most days.

Yelp
5 out of 5 on the Asian Buffet scale! First thing you notice is the koi pond with a ton of (very hungry) koi fish! I assume you can buy food at the counter. Next thing you notice is the 2 sided sushi station which gets you all the standard rolls, a few fancy rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and some salads. It was definitely a step above most all you can eat sushi. The next next thing you notice is how clean the place is. They run a tidy ship here! And one weakness of most buffets is the bathroom...but not here. Spotless and well maintained. Service was solid throughout with drinks and refills coming promptly and plates removed quickly. I always start with hot and sour soup and unfortunately this was one of the only misses in the whole place. It was a good soup but waaay too much pepper in this one. They should call it PEPPER and sour soup! Pretty much everything else was great (on the buffet scale). I had spicy shrimp, general tso's chicken, pepper steak, some really good spare ribs, mushrooms, green beans (very garlicy), cucumber salad, and a few other things. I left very full and very happy. The only "downside" is it's almost all Asian food whereas other places will have a bit of American food for those not into the Asian buffet experience. To finish the meal, they have THREE dessert stations. One for cookies/brownies, one for cakes and mousses, and one for ice cream. I had a cookie and honestly, it was pretty good. To sum it up, this is one great buffet. Melbourne does it right!
google avatar

Stefanie S.

Yelp
Fresh food all the time and plenty of variety. Sushi, hibachi, and American food. They have it all!

Yelp
Came here with my family and I did enjoy this Chinese buffet place. Great price for dinner and there was plenty of food to choose from. I mainly ate the seafood they offer with unlimited crawfish and crabs!!! They seasoned their crawfish and crabs pretty well, unlike other places. The traditional Chinese take out food was a bit greasy for me. Service was okay. And they replenish the food pretty quick.

Yelp
Stopped by for a late dinner last week while in Melbourne. Had a large party and they were quick to seat us and get our drinks ordered. Server's were constantly following up with us to see if there was anything we needed. Great service. The food was a good selection of hot and cold items. Every thing was good. The only comment was that the scampi was not totally great and the salmon could have been fresher. But considering that it was 8:30 at night. Everyone loved the sushi and the rest of our choices. The restaurant was a typical chain with a good ambiance with music playing in the background. Would love to go back at a different time of day and see how the two items mentioned above compare. Would recommend giving this place a try
google avatar

Jackie S.

Yelp
First time and it was a great experience. The sushi really was the golden ticket though, such a large variety and fresh. Would go back just for this. The hibachi was quick, clean and fresh but something about the meat was off, my friend and I both felt the same, just be the meat quality but the guy cooking was great. It was overall very clean and service was great despite them being very busy in a Sunday afternoon. Also, a big plus was that they had fish feeding for .50 cents, the little one loved it.
google avatar

Santos P.

Yelp
The food was pretty amazing. Plenty of Seafood options to pick from. Small note: the cold cocktail shrimp wasn't as fresh as I have come to expect, and were of medium size at best. Everything else was beyond reproach. Try the seafood salad. The service, second to none. Very attentive! Ambiance is calm, not rowdy, great for kids! Pricing: $84 for four adults. The drinks (ice tea) $3.50 per person. Compared to other Buffets in the area, a bit pricey...yet well worth the price.
google avatar

Antoinette J.

Yelp
Food not hot anymore prices have doubled or triple since opened. Food has doubled or tripled also, in price since first opened years ago the quality is just not there. But we don't go anymore .
google avatar

Rik L.

Yelp
Service was terrible plates werent cleaned off the table drinks werent refilled. Food was good but it would be nice for them not only to tell you what the sushi roll name is, but what the heck is in it a lot of places I've went to will put spicy tuna, avocado, cream, cheese, eel sauce, but here it's just crazy tuna roll.
google avatar

Jenny L.

Yelp
My family visited this Chinese buffet while we were in town. It's your typical Asian buffet. They had a hibachi station and sushi bar here. The sushi wasn't bad and there was a decent selection to choose from. They do have all your typical Chinese American dishes such as fried rice, lo mein, general Tso chicken, walnut shrimp, egg drop soup, and vegetables. They had an ice cream station but there were empty ice cream cartons for their vanilla and cookie'n'cream flavors at the time and nobody replaced them. They had a big koi fish pond near the entrance which was pretty cool and added to the ambiance. Service was good as our waitress cleared our plates pretty quickly.
google avatar

Corey C.

Yelp
At first I was dubious about a strip mall buffet. But I was flabbergasted at the variety and the quality of food available. Everything from sushi, sauced chicken, seafood, veggies, fruits, desserts can be found. I only had a few dishes I wasn't fond of. (I didn't like the egg rolls and chicken balls)
google avatar

Raquel F.

Yelp
The food is great and always fresh. The mussels in the garlic sauce are amazing especially over the veggie lomein.

Izzy R.

Yelp
Food was so bland and hard. The environment was awkward and the waiter was rude. If you go just go for the hibachi
google avatar

Eric Z.

Yelp
First time we ate here last year it was pretty good. This time, not so good. Everyone in the family except one, got stomachaches and the poops all night afterwards. Maybe it was just bad luck, but we won't be returning here in the future.
google avatar

Kamiyah M.

Yelp
I invited about 30-40 people to this buffet after my wedding rehearsal as a "very informal" rehearsal dinner. They accommodated us well and everyone had a great selection of food! Our waitress handled us incredibly as everyone paid separately. I was impressed by her organization and control of our crowd. I dont remember her name but i hope she gets some credit! We live very far away so we will never be back but would recommend for families looking for a more than your average buffet!

Yelp
For a Chinese buffet... this one gets the gold star in Brevard! The restaurant is stunning with its neon lights, huge buffet area and well presented sushi bar. The koi pond is just so magical with its large rocks, wooden arched bridge and assortment of healthy and huge koi fish! You can even feed them! The sushi is always fresh. This place stays busy so if you go at lunch or dinner time, they are always putting out newly made rolls and sashimi. The hibachi grill is fast with amazing options like steak, chicken, pork and assorted veggies. Always remember to bring some cash so you can tip them and the sushi chefs! The hot bars are vast! Filled often with crab, a dozen shrimp dishes, beef, pork, fish, chicken, soups and every side you can ask for! Even the little ones will be happy with their fried foods and French fries which take up an entire row. There is ripe fruits and cold seafood too. Deserts are cute little cakes of every flavor and color but not to be outshined by the many choices of ice cream (green tea is my personal favorite!) If you are looking for a cheap buffet meal that is worth more than what they charge, make sure you try Crystal Hibachi.

Yelp
Great Buffett. All kinds of food and the price is right for food. Great sushi bar as well. Love eating there.

Yelp
This is the best Asian buffet in the Melbourne area. But, that said, a lot could be better, but a lot would be worse elsewhere. Overall they have a good selection that they keep fresh; they do enough volume of steady customers that keeps the food moving and not sitting there too long. So, you're most likely to find enough items that you will enjoy and some you learn to avoid for your taste preferences. But, you get your money's worth, and more by many gluttons. The service is decent, especially since it's mostly self-service. Unlike most customers, I usually avoid many of their cooked dishes, because I prefer more gourmet versions. What I do really like here is: wonton soup, egg roll, rangoon, sashimi fatty salmon, fish roe sushi, eel sushi (on weekend menu), cold cocktail shrimp, seaweed salad, salad items (I add chopped up Napa cabbage, green peppers, onion, mushrooms and bean sprouts from the hibachi area to my items from the salad area), fried blue crab halves, fried salt & pepper shrimp with the heads on and sometimes their ribs. I wish they had better salad dressings. I like that they have melted butter for the small blue crab halves. I wish that they had snow crab though and roasted or crispy duck like some other buffets in other cities; but then it would be more expensive. The price is $17 with tax Sun-Thursday. It's slightly more on Friday and Saturday because they add extra seafood: fried oysters (which have a bad toxic flavor), raw oysters (which aren't too good), fried fish (not great) and I forget what else. Their dessert choices aren't too tempting for me, except the date cookies (which I peel most of the pastry part off of and just like the inside filling) or sometimes some of the sub-par-quality ice cream. They deserve some bonus points for being open on holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's day or Easter. They cook whole turkeys for Thanksgiving with mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes and croutons that they call stuffing/dressing. I don't know why they don't learn to make a proper dressing. But the other holiday items are decent. They also add ham for the other holidays, but no turkey. And their holiday price is more reasonable than elsewhere.

Yelp
These people will completely rip you off if you don't check your bill. The greed of these people are beyond comprehension. They would rather lose customers rather than be truthful with the bill.
google avatar

Yelp
Crystal Buffet has more varieties than other Chinese buffets in this little town. As always, if you are looking for quantity rather than quality, then this is your place. The price is reasonable if you plan to overeat. At first glance, it looks great, but the food quality is below average. We frequented this place when we were short on time for a proper meal. We had tried everything on the menu and later settled on a few favorites such as Sushi, the hibachi and the daikon soup. They had tons of desserts, but mostly on the eye-pleasing instead of palate-pleasing side. We did not really care for their tasteless yellow rice or their mushy stir-fried noodle at all. They had boiled crawfish which could use a little bit more spices of some kinds. The deep fried crabs were extremely greasy and we thought they were being fried and re-fried so many times. The fried prawns or shrimp were tasty but they were not de-veined, so you would have to spend a little bit of time to do so yourselves. The steamed snow crab legs were no longer on the weekend menu. Our favorites include the sushi, the hibachi and the daikon soup; however, recently the quality of the soup had gone down. We liked the daikon and dried shiitake mushroom soup in short rib broth. However, by last weekend, the dried shiitake was no longer an ingredient in the soup. The restroom needs a little more TLC, and soap needs to be refilled more often. The paper towels station in the restroom didn't work most of the time. The restroom floor was sticky and wet at the same time. The sinks were either backing up or slow draining. We avoid using the Crystal Buffet's restroom before the meal, by using our own hand sanitizer instead. Regarding the services, the hostess who took us to the table was always pleasant and it ended there. The waitperson only brought the drinks and disappeared until it was time for the bill, She collected the credit card and demanded a large tip for a non-existent service. Her face changed when I asked her to come back later. Her attitude sealed the deal; I no longer want to come back to Crystals buffet. Overall, there are plenty of food choices at this place for customers if you are not particular. If you wouldn't mind if the servers were neither attentive nor professional then you would be happy to dine here. The dining area is clean enough but the restroom definitely needs more TLC.

Olga D.

Yelp
Great restaurant and very clean. The buffet had a lot of options. Went at lunchtime and the ambience was calm and good for conversation. Service was excellent.

Yelp
If you like the typical no flavor, greasy, sugary Chinese buffets then this right up your alley. I've been here twice because a couple of my family members raved about this place and wanted me to try it with them. First time I gave it a go and left hungry. I couldn't find anything on the buffet that was worth eating other than some fruit and iceburg lettuce salad. Second time was about a year later. I had the same experience. I will say that I'm not a fan of buffets or western style Chinese food. I don't like the sugary sauces and fried foods so that's where my personal opinion differs from most people. I tried the sushi and shrimp. The sushi tasted old and the shrimp was very bland and watery. You could tell the shrimp was low quality and had been thawed out. I was wanting to try the hibachi but no one was working it the day I visited. I gave this two stars solely based on my personal preference alone. The service was okay and the buffet looked clean and well stocked, but the quality of food was greatly lacking. I know a lot of people enjoy this type of dining, it's just not my thing. If you eat the standard American diet then I'm sure you'll love this place. If you tend to eat on the healthier side then I think you'll be disappointed.

Yelp
Awesome buffet! Loved hibachi options...very friendly people working here. Service was excellent. Will come back!

Jacqueline B.

Yelp
Do not go after 8 PM even though they close at 9:30 they stop preparing missing items on the buffet. Had to have a conversation with the manager regarding we paid the same amount as the people who came at 6 o'clock and we wanted some real food or we were not going to stay. We were somewhat accommodated otherwise the environment and the food was good.
google avatar

Jill D.

Yelp
Hubby wanted a good Chinese buffet like one we used to visit where we used to live, and we found a better one here. We stopped for lunch and found a bright, clean, pretty interior with friendly staff, and a sunken koi pond with fountain right inside. Just beyond that was a large island area with three chefs prepping sushi. So many choices and everything we ate was good - hubby's favorite General Tso's chicken, my Rangoons and egg rolls, along with lots of veges and chicken choices, plenty of seafood, and other American options if you're not a Chinese food fan. $19.95/person is reasonable for all the seafood and variety plus desserts.

Yelp
I dont review them often but I am a fan of buffets, especially when they are good. When I was a boy living in Southern California there were two we went too often. Sir Georges was a German buffet and The Big Yellow House was a comfort food buffet with the gimmick of paying by your weight. I guess ever business needs something to set them apart. Today I visited Crystal buffet after seeing my barber. The space is so nice and extremely clean. The staff is very friendly and refills happen without asking. First up I enjoyed the hot n sour soup which was tasty. Second was a mix of appetizers which too were tasty. A mixed plate of sushi was next and surprisingly it was very good. Lastly a mix of chinese food and I found the lo mein tasty, the bourbon chicken overcooked, the Peking pork tasty, the seafood cake was delicious. For something sweet I tried the green tea and it was amazing. Paid the bill and was out. I will definately be back.

Ninja M.

Yelp
First time coming after looking at Google's reviews. Was not disappointed. 1) all you can eat for $12.55 for lunch- crazy prices 2) Sushi was good 3) Amazed by food variety for lunch. Shrimp, sushi, hot and cold Chinese food. Again $12.55 per person. 4) Bathroom and restaurant was clean 5) Small Chinese decorations were nice from ones on the wall, front desk, the tables, very unique. 6) Large live fish swimming by the entrance 7) Fast service from delivery of drink to removal of plate's Must go and try. Apparently dinner offers blue crabs and some kind of lobster? Definitely worth going and will definitely go back.

Yelp
Awesome Delicious Chinese Buffet!! Great service and very clean inside. This place takes COVID precautions very carefully making you feel very safe. As soon as we walked in my wife had forgot her mask in the car and the waitress gave her one. They took our temperature and explained how to serve yourself at the buffet using gloves that they also serve. Food was good with many options to choose from as well as the sushi they served. Overall It was a great first experience and will definitely be back again. One more thing I forgot to mention is that they also give military discount.

Yelp
When you walk in this restaurant, you'll immediately realize this is a step above your normal Chinese buffet. There is a beautiful Koi pond at the entrance (for Halloween it's decorated with cobwebs!). All the different food areas are labeled well and in bright colors. It's a very appealing restaurant. Upon entering, temperature checks are done and they hand you a pair of gloves that should be worn while getting food. Dinner price (weekday) was $14. If you like sushi- you will get your $14 worth on your first plate. The sushi was REALLY good. They have rolls, sashimi, and nigiri. Everything was really good quality. They have a salad bar (do people really eat salads at these places?!?), dessert bar, ice cream bar, hot foods, and a made-to-order grill/soup station. The hot food was good- but not the best. The variety was impressive. There is literally something for everyone here. Tons of seafood options, beef, chicken. When something was marked as "spicy" it actually had a kick to it which I appreciate. I didn't have enough room for the soup but would like to try it next time. We got to the restaurant around 7:30pm on a Wednesday and the options were great. By the time we left at 8:30pm, the sushi had not been filled again and things were looking scarce. I totally understand that they don't want to waste food but I would recommend going at a busy time when you know the food will be rotated constantly. Overall, great experience- would highly recommend.

Yelp
Awesome place for lunch and dinner with a great seafood and sushi selections. Highly recommended

Yelp
I come here all the time with my loved ones. I absolutely love this place. Great food and people.

Yelp
My absolute favorite place to eat every time I come to Florida. Got off the plane and went straight here for the 4:00pm special. Honestly, not one place can compete with their sushi buffet or their unlimited coconut shrimp. My oh my. Leaving here feeling like a brick. I had three plates worth of food. First was one piece of EVERYTHING. Second was sushi, I don't think I'm a fan of cuttlefish though. Third was seconds of everything I liked best.

Leigh T.

Yelp
The food is fine, nothing special just typical Chinese buffet food. But at $19 per person for lunch on the weekend, it is seriously overpriced.
google avatar

Cowboy M.

Yelp
Great Buffay we went here for lunch and it was busy but they got us in right away the place cleared out pretty quick till after lunch anyways my three kids said it was the best Chinese food buffet they had ever been to was Our waitress was Chin and she is very attentive never that was there a plate left on our table or a drink empty what a beautiful waitress anyways stay hungry and enjoy
google avatar

Lisa H.

Yelp
Pleasant environment and clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. There is so many food options we weren't able to try it all. The food we did try was very good and fresh. We will definitely be back with more of the family since the price is just right.
google avatar

Valerie M.

Yelp
We ate here yesterday and loved it! So many items to choose from: many many plates of fresh assorted sushi, Chinese dishes, salad, fruit, hard pack ice cream (8 flavors!) desserts galore AND I was so full I didn't have room to make my own hibachi dish... and I LOVE to do that! We'll be back!

Yelp
Crystal Buffet has changed their Open Hours" starting June 1, 2023. Closed Tuesdays and open 4PM to 10PM Mon. Wed, and Thur. Open 11AM to 10Pm Fri., Sat., and Sunday. I think these days and hours are correct. They have it posted on their door.

Itait V.

Yelp
Food is always good, the service is average, you cannot ask much from a Buffet, the ambience is always busy but good, every time we have come here, is always pleasant and the servers are quick to sit you and take your drink order, and are always making sure you have enough to drink.
google avatar

PB R.

Yelp
Ate here tonight and it was a little late. They had torn down a big part of the buffet. We ask for one item and was told no. Fine then don't charge me full price for half of your normal night buffet. Last time we will eat here. To many restaurants to be be cheated.

Tom N.

Yelp
Services weren't bad. However, lot of foods on steam table are really old, dried out, hence some of them didn't really taste good. . $16.95/person is not expensive, but not really cheap, so I have the right to expect some quality.

Yelp
Thanks to my dad constantly taking me to these kinds of restaurants for family special occasions, I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur of Chinese buffets. At one time, I thought they were the best places to eat but that was during a time when I was young and naive. Now that I Yelp on a daily basis, I know there are far better options when it comes to dining and surprisingly, some of the won't assault your wallet. I also know there are some Chinese buffets that just blow your mind on the variety and the flavor, kind of like that one huge Chinese buffet in Orlando, Florida in which I cannot remember to save my life. Sadly, Crystal Buffet Hibachi & Grill is not one of them. But when it comes to Chinese buffets in general, it is okay. Not the best and not the worst. Somewhere down the middle like most of them. First and foremost, Crystal Buffet Hibachi & Grill is located in one of the older shopping strips in Melbourne, Florida, the one located at the northwest quadrant of the US-192 and Wickham Rd. intersection (there's a Fiesta Azteca there if it helps out). Upon entering, you are treated to one of the fancier-looking Chinese buffets this side of Florida. It isn't overly extravagant, but it surely stands out thanks to its use of colors outside of the norm for Chinese buffets (red and gold). Once you are seated with your drink orders in, it is off to the rows of food warmed up in hot water buffet trays Everything you think a Chinese buffet would serve they serve from classic New York style Chinese food, American fried foods, and simple desserts with ice cream. Sushi and hibachi grill options are available too given the sudden popularity of those. Flavor on the other hand is a hit or miss. I would say 40 percent hit, 60 percent miss around lunch and 50/50 any other time. In the end, I am happy I ate at this place again because it suffered from the issue most Chinese buffets go through. When they open, they are amazing. After a month, they become lackluster. Crystal Buffet Hibachi & Grill falls into this same trap. But with most people choosing price over quality, this place will most likely stay in business for awhile until the over-saturation of Chinese buffets possibly causes it to close.
