Suri(?) was absolutely amazing. First time going to a club and the dancers were absolutely dolls. I could not have had a better time. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to grab their names, but the pair of dancers who preformed together were so sweet and absolutely made my night with their sweet gesture. Hopefully I get to see the three of them again! For those who are looking for their first experience, this establishment was a great laid back and friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back.

Went early on a Sunday for brunch. Very welcoming staff, food was great and well priced. No dancers due to the hour but that’s ok still very enjoyable as a restaurant. Read an article in the Washington post and had to check the place out. Will definitely be returning!

Food is amazing, dancers are pretty as well as fun to talk to,. Managers are fair and fun to talk to as well. its the local bar atmosphere with hot women. shout out to Newt, Tonya, Mo, Terry, Sean, for always being welcoming and accommodating. Oh yea and my fav dancers Charlotte, Jessica, Vee, Stella, Kat, Kiki, Liz and I'm sure I missed a couple lol Good Times

What a breath of fresh air. Crystal City Restaurant has everything a gentleman can ask. Great ambiance, delicious food, terrific customer service, my hostess Spencer made sure my half and half was always flowing. And what a great smile. And certainly last but not least the ladies were down to earth and easy on the eyes. I’ll be visiting with friends and family. Tx Crystal City for your hospitality.

Terrible establishment extremely prejudice and the workers were extremely rude. I will never come here again. It was really dead anyway. The worst one I’ve been too in all honesty. DO NOT COME HERE!

The filet mignon bites are excellent! Absolutely devoured them. Courteous, prompt staff. The dances are softcore with just partial nudity. Not a strip club, more like a restraunt with sensual entertainment. Would be great for night out with friends.

Truly an excellent food, cigar and service establishment. I am from out of town and was looking for a reasonable and clean place to both buy and smoke a cigar. The steak is on point. I’m from a state that cares about medium rare steak and these folks know how to freaking cook. The beer was fresh and cold. The service was exceptional and the bathrooms were immaculate. Try going to any random food place and look at the damn bathrooms… SERIOUSLY! This place was clean. The customer service was on point and the food was exceptional. 5 stars easily a place i will go again when in town.

my first strip club experience and I had an AMAZING time. I was absolutely gay panicking all over the place at the gorgeous women lol and I think everyone was entertained by it, my friends and the staff included. I had a wonderful conversation with a few of the dancers when we ran into each other in the bathroom, it was delightful. They were all so nice!👍

Love the atmosphere. My hubby loves a dance. Plays good music and good drinks. Heard the food was good but didn't try it.

So my best friend and I came on a Sunday. Everyone on the staff here from the servers, bouncers, and dancers seemed really nice and welcoming. It gives a real low-key chill vibe! It's a nice place to go have a beer, chill, and see a women dance. Katy was our server and she was really personable. She gave her honest opinions when asked about the food, which was really helpful. The Lamb chops were seasoned really well. They were really tiny. I wish they were a little thicker, but they were only $18, so you pretty much get what you pay for. Would I order them again.... Yes! I also had the old bay wings. They were not that great. It was giving straight out the freezer. They had good flavor, but I probably wouldn't get them again. Will I return here..... Absolutely!! We had a great time.

Great food It was made quickly and delivered to my hotel in under 30 minutes. I was extremely happy with my meal.

First time coming here, great dancers (beautiful and talented) and good ambiance- the staff and security were all great. We ended up sitting in the smoking area and our server Vega was awesome- attentive, helpful and just all around a good time!

Joke of a 'gentleman's club' . Lazy girls that don't want to make real money . Yet are snobs about getting a dollar . My friend was even tricked rudely into buying a drink for one of them . Tried to get a private dance from four different girls , kept getting the runaround from the server and the girls. When we decided to go the waitress was super rude to us and the had the nerve to ask " have you ever been to a strip club before?" Uh yes 304! REAL ones where you're treated nicely and the girls want to make money . Joke of a place , won't ever be going back .

Food was great but bartender kept fuckin up on giving me the correct change back lol like 3 times !! , then charge me 140$ instead of $120 , so just kept fuckin up on basic math ‍

Highly disappointed in the food- no flavor, undercooked. But I guess people don't go for the food. Fast but poor service. I came here based on reviews and was disappointed in the whole experience. Will not return.

We enjoyed our delicious meals with a fabulous company of Lotus. She is friendly, welcoming, the most beautiful & talented dancer there & personalized our experience by offering to play my boyfriend's favorite song, "motivation" by Kelly Rolland. Lotus is a wonderful asset to Crystal City. Jen & Shawn are attentive with our meals & drink requests. I regret that I didn't order & eat dessert 1st There is a smoke lounge for smokers with small stage. Unfortunately, the restaurant has limited space for additional stage for dancers. Just as a friendly reminder: there is no recording or photography of the dancers.

Okay- overall this place is what you make it...let's acknowledge that. It's next to a 24 hour kabob house, and a 7-11 doesn't look like much from the outside. It attracts both older and younger clientele. Several of the ladies were great- In talent and overall personality! Show them some love and give them $$! Some are the exact opposite. The random men guarding them are a tad scary and wore their masks improperly. At the end of the night we weren't ordering much and they placed a different party at our table...so awkward no appropriate spacing at all! The servers are rude- they def don't care much about covid- ATM has a fee to withdraw. The server told me I had to order something so I got a water bottle...a Kirkland $.25 water bottle I paid $6 dollars for. It's a money making enterprise. WEAR UR MASK THE WHOLE TIME AND BRING YOUR OWN SANITIZER. Having that been said with the group of friends I came with it wasn't the worse experience but def was only made by my friends and my positive demeanor because otherwise just stay away!! Be respectful of the ladies!

We were in town visiting from Georgia. The food was terrific, everyone we met was super nice and friendly. The owner even came by and chatted with us, bought us a round of drinks, a free appetizer to try, and the most awesome challenge coins! I laughed when my friends said they were taking me to a strip club for a steak for Mother's Day, but we seriously had the best time. The dancers were pretty and personable, they didn't mind us asking for tips on how to make our booty cheeks bounce and one even did a pretty impressive handstand! Definitely go here for a fun time and yummy food. The people there made us feel welcome, and made it a great experience.

I've never seen so many broke cry babies on a yelp page. Why go to a strip club not prepared to spend money? Drinks are cheap, food is actually good, and most of the talent is great! Private dances are full contact... Highly recommend Lucy, great dancer! My only complaint is there's no liquor but that's the law so what can they do...

HIDEEN GEM IN CRYSTAL CITY!!!! The crystal city restaurant "gentleman's club" is all the vibes. I know what your thinking. But let me just tell you. Lets start with the service. I found out how good the food was from the pawn shop employees across the street. Okay, back to the gentlemans club. Being a chef and elf proclaimed food critic. I immediately went over to have an outdoor lunch with my son. Order was as follows: Cheeseburger: Juicy, well seasoned, cooked to a perfect medium well. Fries: Hot, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside Corn on the cob: Fresh-in season, most tender peice of corn I've ever had! Scallops appetizer: Sexy succulence! they truly melt in your mouth and the white white, tomato and fresh herbs took it over the top Jumbo Lump Crab Cake: Plump morsels of crab with just enough filling to hold it together. Absolutely sublime! Housemade Coleslaw: crunchy sweet and tangy just like good cole should be. Housemade tarter sauce: I love the tart sauce, dill pickley goodness Housemade cocktail sauce: most surprising part, i normally don't care for cocktail sauce but this one is a homerun, not to horseradishy but just the right amount of sweet and tang. I felt welcomed and was greeted and seated by a beautiful soul Stephanie she was attentive, warm and accommodating. Kudos Stephanie keep shining! This place may be unfamiliar to some but to those that come their not just guests their family. Simple food, executed right! Get in there!

The manager owner STEPHEN (Steve or Sean., Terry) knew Jonathan & Ashley§ and my friend" Jon Juicy" of lower LaVerne Avenue 22305. I felt elated the managers or owner didn't use profane vulgarities to say Good evening to our FRIDAY night encourage. However, during an endemicagghhh pandemic of '22, one would be astonished to know swipe your CC for a 9 minute lap dance in the VIP room, $$57 was charged to JonJuicy..... OUTSTANDING. I adore their $$16.00 succulent salmon. alleluia

Visited today after at least a decade or so (probably more!) in between. I remembered it being a unique spot, but typically these days if I'm dining in Crystal City it's a business affair. I was starving with 90 minutes before a flight out of DCA. Since I was already parked at the 7-Eleven for a pit stop and absolutely starving, decided to give it a try. So glad that I did! This place is absolute hidden gem. I struggle to think of anywhere else in the greater DMV which compares. The menu is retro yet substantial. Staples, not kitschy trendy cliches. The quality compares favorably with anywhere downtown -- but the prices are incomparable! I got the Tomahawk Veal Chop for about $20 vs similar at the Capital Grill a few weeks ago for $70. Pork Chops for $6.99 or $3.75 for a cheeseburger; New York Strip for $14.99 or lamb chops for about the same. It's unbelievable. Not sure how they do, and I fear it won't last. Until then it will be my new go-to place. And it's a restaurant, not a strip club. You can bring your Mother (maybe) or certainly your significant other. There are plenty of couples and otherwise the usual composition of patrons there. There is also a regular rotation of semi-nude woman 'dancing' one at a time, but is more of an old school go-go vibe than anything like actual strip clubs in the area. If your intent is strippers with XXX level visibility you'll likely be frustrated. But if you're looking for a causal vibe and great menu with unmatched prices, against a backdrop of beautiful women, it's both worth a shot and arguably the only option within 100s of miles.

My all time favorite. Very beautiful women. Literally the best deal on food in the city. Lunch burger lunch steak salmon and wings are fantastic . I make ppl come here. Ideal gentlemen club. The girls are never greedy or strung out. The customers are cool and don't fight or flash ego. Respectful, no judgment staff. There are always multiple high end girls working and dancing anytime of day. I've bounced at clubs and been a patron of many clubs during my time in the navy. If you are looking for a chill place With great food, high end and diverse body types ALL TIMES OF DAY that wont break the bank. This is your best bet I've found on the east coast. I don't do lapdances though so I can't speak to that. I've never been pestered for a dance. And there is both indoor smoking and nonsmoking. Good price craft beer for DC. If you don't cause a problem, there won't be any problems here.

Don't go there ! Especially if you're black like me. I just went there on Memorial Day with an old college buddy. Despite their advertisements for customers being allowed private dances, I was denied private dances by 3 different dancers. No explanation was given by the staff, despite NO prior confrontations or issues occurring. Meanwhile, my buddy who is white, was granted two 15-minute dances with no problem. This place is downright racist and bigoted against black men. DO NOT patronize this establishment whatsoever !!

Solid service solid food solid people. Could possibly use karaoke to compete with a gay bar down the road

There wasn't any on-site parking which is normal for that location, I just wasn't expecting that. Entering the place, it was of course pretty dark. The space was smaller but the staff accommodated us for seating quickly and were friendly. The food was actually pretty tasty and affordable. There was a one drink minimum but they don't serve actual liquor. My water bottle was $6.60. Still made the best of it. There is a smoking and non smoking section. One dancer at a time and the dancers come to each table after their performance to gain tips. I've never experienced it before but again we made the best of it. The private room fees were pretty expensive for those interested $60(ten mins).

I went down a Tuesday to get some drinks and the dancers were great but the bartender that was working was awesome great conversation very funny very entertaining give her a raise I think her name started with the E white girls long dark hair she was great

I used to come here alot. Partially for the "entertainment" but mostly because of their steak.... omg! So good, juicy and flavorful!

Interesting place here. You can dine while the strippers dance. Can't talk to the food as I did not eat but I did have a few beers. The main thing here is that you cannot touch the strippers, so if you are coming from a state that allows it, be ready for the disappointment. Lol. Lap dances are priced ridiculously high. $50.00 for ten minutes?? Crazy. Basically, you sit there, have convo with whomever you are with and they dance on stage. You can choose to walk up to the stage and literally make it rain $$$$ or you can wait until they are done and they will come around table to table and you can tip at that time. I would say this method provides a safe environment for the strippers and patrons alike as it alleviates any issues that might arise from folks that might be too touchy feely. As far as what the hell goes on in the private rooms. I don't know. If you are bored and want to watch a show while having a beer come on by. They do have a smoking section if that is your thing.

Not such a good place, the service was terrible and no social distancing. In-A-Nutshell, the bar tender, who also serves tables, is completely rude. She started in on my friends and I as soon as we got there. The "manager" was an even bigger horses ass. We went there looking to have a good time and had a bad one. They don't practice social distancing there, at all. The tables are set out every other one with Xs on the ones with no chairs. But, as more people come in, they try to sit them at your table. We said something about it to our terrible server who basically said too bad she needed to make money. Then the manager came over and said the same thing. Really? Something's wrong there. He also told us if we didn't like it we could just leave and if we kept complaining about it he would ask us to leave. Another: Really? Here's some of the details: We had planned a B-Day party there which their website indicates they welcome by providing a 5 minute lap dance and a slice of cake. It also says they take reservations for this. When we got there, no one new about it saying "they don't take reservations". We also pointed out that every unoccupied table without an X on it had a reserved sign on it. Seriously?? This bar tender/server got, unnecessarily, way bent out of shape about it too. Not sure why as it seemed pretty simple to us. After the smoke cleared, we did end up getting a table for our party. This bar tender ended up being our server too and was just as rude as could be. To top it off, we had to argue about the slice of cake and was never offered the 5 minute lap dance. The sad thing is that I gave her a $20 tip up front to try and smooth things out but it was like that didn't even happen. The most unusual thing is that this "manager" said we had to respect the club by allowing them to sit strangers at our table. Seriously? How about they need to provide better customer service and provide a little respect to those spending the money there.

Best Burger In Town! Best Prime Rib in America! This place is like Cheers with entertainment. It starts with the hostesess, then the bartenders, the dancers and even the owner is amazing! Customer service ***** waitresses *****food*****. If you live in the area or you're just visiting, this is an awesome 18+ establishment.

Ok, you have to accept that this is a rating for a restaurant that's really a strip club. I don't go to strip clubs except for the occasional bachelor party (which this was) and I never eat in the club. But the drill seems to be same at Crystal City Restaurant as most such places - you get quite a bit of food at pretty reasonable prices because they plan to make their money on drinks and paying the dancers. The food was fine, comparable to a decent diner. I had the Billy's Steak Bite Salad. It was a big house salad topped with chunks of beef tenderloin. The menu said the salad is a mix of romaine and iceberg but it seemed to be mostly iceberg. I'd say the quality was comparable to buying a bag of salad mix at the grocery store, dumping it on a plate and adding blue cheese dressing poured from a bottle of dressing also bought qt the grocery store. I ordered the meat blackened and cooked medium rare. It was pretty salty but otherwise very tender and nicely cooked. At $10.99, it was a good quantity of totally edible food. The service was fast and friendly. I'll leave the rating of the dancers to some other site! If you want ok food at reasonable prices while watching mostly-naked women dance, then Crystal City Restaurant fits the bill.

My old roommates were Monday night regulars here so I decided to tag along for my first strip club experience at the famous CCR (not to be confused with Creedance Clearwater Revival). A few observations: - The bathroom doors in the women's bathroom do not lock adequately which caused me to walk in on my eight month pregnant waitress by accident. Awkward! - The dancers are pretty and they do not take their jobs too seriously which is fine by me! One was even doing the running man on stage! Sounds like my type of gal. - This is a wine and beer bar only. - If you are a girl the girls will try to give you extra attention! Overall this place had a nice laid back atmosphere and seemed more like dive bar first, strip club second. I had a fun time although I was more interested in eating at the kabob joint next door by the time our evening was done.

Tacky Bar. Tacky Restaurant. Tacky Dancers. As constructive criticism, CCR should seriously consider renovating. From the door, I felt as if I walked in 1985. Everything was old and outdated, even the music they were playing for the dancers. I appreciate that the bar is sectioned into smoking and nonsmoking. This review is based off the nonsmoking area, but I could only imagine the foolery took place throughout. I have worked in Crystal City for 5 years but never stayed to visit CCR until this one Friday night. I wanted to give a full, honest review of the place so I ordered the rib eye steak. Yuck! It had no taste which really disappointed me because the portion size was so big that I felt bad having to leave over half on my plate. The "entertainment" was sad. No rhythm. No shape. Just sad. But the tackiest of all tackies, was after the bland performance, they had the audacity to stop at each table with a cheap purse and strongly hint at wanting a tip. What?! Are you serious? I have never witnessed such a thing. I was appalled and disgusted by my night.

Every girl has different boundaries so ask the girls what can you do with them in the backroom because every girl is different. And buy them a drink so the give better lap dances

Crystal City Restaurant definitely defines dinner and entertainment. Being open for 40 years, and 38 of those glorious years has been providing you with the wonderful pleasure of scantily clad women strutting their stuff on stage down to a thong with some pasties. Now that's what I call PG 13. We showed up around 8:30pm with my boyfriend and our lovely Colombian friend Diana who has never been to a strip club let alone something like this. Crystal City Restaurant is best described to be between a Hooter's and a strip club. They do provide pretty nice food with some hot ladies. We came here to have dinner and to watch the show... obviously. My boyfriend and I split a Queen Prime Rib which is a 10 oz prime rib with 2 sides for $10.99. We got broccoli and mashed potatoes with a buttermilk biscuit with butter. Diana ordered herself a Gyro with steak fries for $6.99. You get a lot of food for the cheap without compromising the quality. It was surprisingly good for sure. Service was great. Our server was named Jessica. She was very conversational and told us a bit about Crystal City Restaurant and its origins. Really satisfied to find someone who gave a damn about her customers. Now for the entertainment. The girls did have your stereotypical stripper names such as Bambi, Skittles, Sparkles, and of course the legacy known as K.T. K.T. knew how to move and she impressed everyone with her moves to some hard rock. Some of the girls were really talented, others really just tried to make it through the song before their rounds to solicit the tables of customers. The girls would dance, then go to each and every table asking 'how are you doing?' as they progressed to the glass enclosed room inside the restaurant where the main bar was and a smaller stage. As the go by each table, this is where they hope to pick up a few tips. Some customers would give, some would pass them on up and continue with their meals such as we did. This is a place where you do not expect to MAKE IT RAIN if you know what I mean. Don't forget about the weird single creeper dudes that roll in here. Come with friends so you can avoid them. There was this one particular individual who kept hugging and trying to kiss the dancers during their routine because he was right up by the stage. He looked gross and like the kind you need to keep away from both women and children. Sheesh. The front of the building is misleading and I would hate for any elderly man with a heart condition to pass through those doors without knowing what he is about to get himself into. It looks like a regular restaurant sans see through windows which is probably a good thing. Considering it is right next to Young Chow restaurant and a lot of families go in there; I am glad the windows are concealed so little ones can't peak in and see. Would I return? Hell yeah I would. It was a fun night, and the look of horror on Diana's face when we first arrived made it all the better. Now, I just need to find my next victim to relive the moment of hilarity.

Food: Really , a strip bar with good food !! Yup!!!Yup ! Amazingly , most clubs have crap food. Not here!! The food is good, above average. Cheese trays, tuna fresh!!!. Outstanding kabobs! !! Wings !! And they have specials. DRINKS: OK, FULL bar. Pleasant bartenders, Drink prices are excellent here..meaning reasonable. Ok now the big point : GIRLS; Yes, they have girls. A wonderful place to be. The food is wonderful. Always get a burger during my lunch break. I really enjoy the morning shift ladies the most, although there is clearly a bit everything for every customer. During this corona virus epidemic, I have been going for lunch and it's really wonderful to see the precautions they have taken with hand sanitizers and special sponges to clean the hard surfaces. The girls that sit with me are very nice and don't push me for money. They're quite smart and always something interesting to say. A couple of these girls have actually travelled the world which makes for interesting conversations. I recommend Crystal City Restaurant.

I went on a Saturday night with seven other women for bachelorette party. We had such a great experience that I had to comment on Yelp. We were initially very nervous about going as most of us are straight and not into strip clubs. But our bride is and was into the club and had a great time. We all had fun as the staff and manager made us feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend it for anyone to go there if they are in Virginia.

I've eaten lunch here from time to time and they have great prices on food and the quality is also good, I also have to say that the service is pretty good, but be careful because you can really spend a lot of dough in this place without noticing it.

Went in on a weekday night with my buddy. Right off the bat I was pleasantly surprised that the strippers were beautiful and young. They must have all been between 18-23 years old. I have been to many strip clubs and even though these girls didn't know how to dance on the pole, they were great to look at. We had a few beers and then I was talked into paying for a private dance. I don't recommend if you're afraid of covid because I wasn't forced to wear a mask and the stripper who gave me a private dance wasn't wearing one either. There was also no such thing as 6 foot distance in this place, especially in the private room, but I'm not complaining. I made sure to tip extra well in the private room and the young women went above and beyond (use your imagination). Definitely a great place to stop if you're in the area. If you're lucky a pasty or two might fall off.

Awesome place. Clean, friendly, excellent. The food is great, the bathrooms AND the main floor are clean. The staff is on point. I will be coming back.

Please note, I have written 39 reviews before this, but this is my first 1star. Perhaps it's my fault because I went on a Saturday afternoon--creepy lunch crowd. We had just spent a magical day at the pool and after hours of dunking neighborhood kids and playing Marco Polo, we had worked up a ravenous appetite. Someone jokingly said, "CCR!" but we might have been too tipsy to realize they weren't serious. The moment I walked in, I was immediately depressed. First of all, the clientele at 2 pm is just....wow. I'm your standard vice-loving liberal so I was shocked to find myself so scared and worried for these strippers. They were bruised up, broken down--I'm pretty sure I saw some C-section scars. I wanted to grab blankets and wrap them around these girls and take them away from this place. . . maybe to a shelter. Needless to say, we lost our appetite and didn't stay past our first round of drinks. I shudder everytime I drive by that place.

How can I write this review with out sounding like a pervert. The answer is I can't. So for this review just think of me as a dirty, dirty, old man. And as a dirty old man there are two things I love. Seeing pretty young things in next to nothing doing things that could earn them Gold medals in a different situation, and getting the best value for my greenbacks. With no cover, super cheap food specials, and $6 dark beers CCR is like a prototype for my fantasy island, and if it had a goddamned Nintendo I would probably never leave. Because they can't just cop out and just show you "the goods" the ladies here have actually developed talents and stage presence making them enjoyable to watch for more than obvious reasons. I was quite frankly impressed and for the first time didn't feel like I was getting bilked at one of these places. So for any of you whippersnappers thinking you might enjoy a show, come on in grab a drink, maybe a meal, and a seat up front with ole grandpa (on account of my glaucoma). I guarantee you will enjoy it.

My coworkers got me good. They said, "Let's go to Crystal City Restaurant." Ok, the name sounds like a diner-type of place. I walked in and there were just tits everywhere! They got a kick out of seeing the look of horror on my face. So we were greeted and seated. It was mid day. Pretty empty. The guys that were in there were sketchy looking, with one octogenarian getting his jollies off by staring at some hot mess in a bikini. Ick! The dancers all wear pasties because its the law. Maybe its because I came at lunch time, but these were NOT pretty girls. Sure, they were talented, (what wonders one can work on a pole!) but this must have been their B squad. The guys that were with me weren't too impressed either. The food is amazing though! Cheap and really good. After awhile, I just pretended as if I were in a different establishment and enjoyed the food. If you're a 40+ year old man and you haven't had any in awhile, I'd say this was the spot for you. Or if you're trying to play a joke on an unsuspecting co worker . . . All in all, I'd say to skip it. I'm sure there are better places in DC.

My husband and I love coming here when are looking for a place that is not children-friendly. The food is good and cheap as well as the drinks. They don't charge exuberant amount and the portion is huge. We never had a bad meal or receive bad service here. The servers are friendly and the dancers are good. Some days the performance are better than others, but I think that holds true for many places. IMHO, this is the strip club that I had ever been to that I don't feel awkward in going. I saw that there were a few couples in the audience as well. I also like the fact that they separated out smoking and non-smoking section, but if you sit close to the door of the smoking section, you can smell the smoke. If you are offended by these kind of businesses, please do not come here. My advice is to turn around and leave. No one forced me to stay. Normal offended people turnaround and leave.

Yes, we know what this place is. Yes, we know what type of guy goes there alone. But if you want a beer, above average bar food, and a change of scenery why not go to CCR?? My poor boyfriend had no idea though when two of our mutual male friends suggested we go there. I simply shook my head and said alright whatever lets go. The dancers aren't half bad, some have great moves. A few were actually really attractive, like if you saw them fully dressed on the street you'd think they were good looking. The guys that go there and place dollars on the little stage are not pretty. What is annoying is that as soon as their number is over, each one comes by the table with outstretched hands. They're all friendly and polite but like, cmon not every single one of you needs a few dollars from each table. I know, I know, they've got a living to make too and my guy friends don't care but its slightly tacky. Oh, and the fact that each dancer brings her purse up to the stage. Give the dang girls a locker in the back to stash their cash.. Even one of the guys at our table was like wait, why has each chick carried a purse up to stage with her? The one downside to the place, the mirror behind the stage is gross. They need to get a better cleaning solution when they're wiping it down between performances.

Did you ever see Rambo First Blood Part 2, when John Rambo returned to the "Nam" to rescue some POWs? Well he gets a leech on his skin after mucking about in the swamp too long and pries it off with a gigantic knife. While this is a little extreme (Rambo is always extreme), I felt the same way being at "CCR". I came with my little newb (first time ever at a strip club), and we sat at a booth in the main room. Ordered a couple of beers and just relaxed. This was my first time at CCR and I thought we could just chill for a while and chat. What I did not expect was for the girls to make a tour of the entire restaurant soliciting tips after each song. It was a hard sell too. We would be sitting there not even paying attention to the stage but just talking and enjoying ourselves, and these girls would come up, interrupt our conversation, and just stand there like a sweating bellhop who just carried your six heavy assed Louis Vuitton bags to your room with that expectant look in their eyes. We left as soon as the beers were drained. If Rambo won't put up with leeches, neither will we. A positive is that there is no cover to get in.

Well I can't say I've experienced better seeing as how this was my first strip club experience. I thought it would be more fun though. Instead, we got out of there as soon as we downed that beer. A pretty random and impulsive venture landed me in here. I was thirsty and my options were grabbing something at 7-11 next door or going in here for a beer. Nothing like a cold beer to quench your thirst...we ended up in here for the first and last time (I hope!) Well, let's cut to the chase here - people come to these clubs for the T and A. Yes. I said it. T-AND-A. But if these women are going to come up to everyone asking for money, even those who were not watching or sitting in the back, or who were actually in the middle of a conversation, I personally feel they should not be one of those "everything butter face/but-her-face" type women. It was two dancers on the small stage to one "eh" song, followed by two new dancers taking the stage to another "eh" song while the previous two walk around the entire "club" asking for money. Just f.y.i. the girls rarely used the poles. Aren't they supposed to use the poles?? At least I can say the wait staff was friendly...and it was clean...1.5 stars?

There have been several times we've been out in Crystal City somewhere and decided we needed a little more entertainment than watching depressed U of Georgia fans at the Sports Pub want to hang themselves after realizing their team is overrated yet again by the national media. That's when we head over to Crystal City Restaurant. I've always liked these places that name themselves something mundane. Like when a bar name's themselves The Office or The Boardroom. Or Crystal City Restaurant. I've always thought it's so some husband can truthfully tell his wife "Hi honey, I'll be home late tonight as I'm still at The Office." Crystal City Restaurant sounds like a regular place to eat, and I'm sure many people have been fooled by the name and walked in expecting steak. It's safe to say that they were instead met by a pretty large helping of roast beef. CCR doesn't get the prettiest girls, they have to wear pasties, and the beers are $7. But the strippers really try to make up for this with gusto on the stripper pole. CCR is owned by the same owner as the Sports Pub, so the food is nearly identical. Meaning slightly above average for bar food. One plus about CCR is that you won't pay an arm and a leg to go there. Maybe we're cheap, but a roll of 1's can go a long way here.

No cover. $10.99 16oz New York Strip with broccoli and potato. You have to buy a drink - beer was $5.75. Tip a few bucks for the dancers and you'll leave a happy man (or woman). I thought the steak was pretty good for only $11. I will return!

I can't think of a single better place to close a multi-million dollar business deal than CCR. This place exudes class. First, the girls are actually pretty attractive. Second, they are friendly and appreciative of your patronage. Third, as David K. pointed out, this is one club that doesn't strip your wallet. Fourth, they go out of their way to keep this place clean- is a rarity in this kind of business. The pasty policy is frequently violated by the dancers- a real reward for regular customers I think. Finally, I've eaten here at 1AM and have to say that the food is cheap and tasty. Be forewarned that they don't serve liquor here, so you'll be stuck with beer. If you are a cigar guy, bring some and enjoy them. If you buy a cigar here, be prepared to pay $20 for it. Their bud light pricing is aggressive. All in all, a fun place to end a night. Every time I come here I wonder what it would be like to date a stripper- maybe one of these days I'll get to find out. Until then, I'll continue to gape at them at CCR.
