Pretty consistent Crystal Jade and food was great as per what we usually order from other outlets! Quite a spacious outlet with plenty of seating. It was somewhat full for a Tuesday evening but we managed to get a seat without queuing. I think it’ll be good if the prices could be featured for the online menu which would make ordering simpler.

Brought my mum for lunch here. Ordered a cup of tea. Mum could not finish a whole cup of tea on her own so requested for an empty glass to share her drink. Request was rejected by the young restaurant manager (I guess) stating that drinks are meant for 1pax. Anyway asked for a bowl instead so equally fine. The 4 stars service review is given by the very patient staff who brought us the Xiao long BAO. Overall, food is still good but the presence of a residence fly is not appreciated. Overall not a neutral dining experience. Thank you.

Came here for Xiao long bao. And close to lunar new year we had the Yusheng (Loi Hei) too. The ingredients in the Yusheng is little different from the usual. Half like a fruit salad but very tasty. Good portions of salmon and definitely nice for 3-4 persons for a small size. And it’s dear due to being available during CNY. Service was good and our tea was also topped up when needed. Definitely come back for other dishes.

Food - 3/5 Service - 4.5/5 Ambience - 3/5 The restaurant was rather empty during our visit. Bright and very clean. A one and only VIP available for privacy. Service was adequately good. Food was ok. The Dan Dan la mian's sauce concoction was out of my taste buds liking as the Chinese pepper corn was overwhelming. The stir fried beef was indeed tender but a tat salty. ( Recommended to have rice with it.) Pan fried wor tie was juicy inside - nice. Return again? Probably not.

Had an early lunch, there was no queue then. Paper menu was available, with easy ordering online. Xiao long bao doesn't disappoint, enjoys the chilli crab and original version. The signature sichuan lamian was spicy.

Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao is a chain restaurant specializing in Shanghainese cuisine, known for its delicate xiao long bao (small steamed buns with pork filling) and la mian (hand-pulled noodles). Here's a fair review of Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao: Cuisine: Shanghainese Location: Multiple locations in Singapore Price: $$ (mid-range) Atmosphere: Modern and clean, with a focus on efficiency and quick service. Service: Efficient and friendly, although service can sometimes be rushed during peak hours. Food: * Xiao Long Bao: The signature dish, these small steamed buns are made with thin dough and filled with a flavorful pork filling. The broth within the buns is essential, and a good xiao long bao should have a balance of meat, skin, and soup. Crystal Jade's xiao long bao are generally good, but they can sometimes be a bit too doughy and lack the intense flavor of other top-rated xiao long bao stalls. * La Mian: The hand-pulled noodles are made fresh daily and come in a variety of dishes, such as soup noodles, dry noodles, and cold noodles. The noodles are generally good, but they can sometimes be a bit too thick or chewy. * Other Dishes: The menu also includes other Shanghainese dishes, such as spring rolls, pork ribs, and braised dishes. These dishes are generally good, but they are not as outstanding as the xiao long bao and la mian. Overall: Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao is a decent option for Shanghainese cuisine, but it is not the best place to get xiao long bao or la mian. The food is generally good, but it can be a bit inconsistent. The service is efficient and friendly, but it can sometimes be rushed. The price is mid-range, but it is cheaper than some other Chinese restaurants in Singapore. Recommendation: If you are looking for good xiao long bao or la mian, there are better options available in Singapore. However, if you are looking for a convenient and affordable option for Shanghainese cuisine, Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao is a decent choice.

Sunday 29th 11.50am. No service staff at entrance, waited 10mins before being lead in . There's only 4tables occupied inside. Very very noisy in restaurant! Ordered a fried rice, system accepted order, but was informed that it was 'sold out' by staff after order has been printed. However, Captain Ms Yeap is very polite and courteous! Served with a smile,! Ms Janice is also very helpful n took initiative to combine tables when she saw our table is full! Kudos to both staffs!

Classic Chinese fare. The la mian is the specialty here, very tasty. Supporting dishes like chicken with dried chili, spinach eggs were good. Special mention on the mayo prawns were big and juicy. Go for the hot tea which is refillable. Staff are always ready not too far away. Restaurant is nicely renovated and cosy.

Yelp
I saw their article on one of the inflight magazine and wanted to try here. This particular location is at the Bugis, short walk from the MRT station. They are known for Xiao Long Bao, they have samplers and it's a good way to try different kind of XLB. My favorite was black truffle one, it contains so much soup inside and aroma was amazingly good, possibly one of the best XLB. I ended up burning my tongue and I am still suffering the consequences after a few days but I am so glad I decided to read that inflight magazine to learn about this restaurant. They are also known for fried brown rice and noodle soup. Noodle soup I had was very good, I tried the limited edition version, the one served with deep fried chicken. Oh that chicken was so juicy, I think I was supposed to add to my noodle soup but I ended up eating separately. Other dishes I tried was quite good too. Reasonably priced compared to DTF. I wish I don't get fat from eating a lot, then I would have tried more food.

Yelp
Their xiao long baos are really nice! Everytime I'm there, I have 12 baskets to myself. Nobody else can touch them except me. Haha. The skin is soft yet doesnt break that easily. That's really important. I get annoyed when I pick up a xiao long bao and the skin collapses before I can save the stock. The ones here are solid enough and its got a nice bite to it as well. The filiing are tasty and not too salty. I also had the chinese pancake but it tasted exactly like prata. Thats not to say I didnt enjoy it ;)

Yelp
Always busy at lunch time, this smallish but very good Chinese restaurant at level B1 in Bugis is just the right thing for shoppers and tourists tired of their pricey hotel restaurants or the cheesy hawker stalls. Make sure you try their grilled eggplant starter and order some veggie Szechuan noodles with peanut sauce. Nice and spicy!!! Wear an old tee shirt- you're bound to spill some. Try their unusual drinks too- maybe the ginger and salt lemon tea? Prices are reasonable. Odd how they do charge for the peanuts on the table that you didn't order and the wet towels. No choice I guess! Enjoy-

Yelp
La mian portion is too big with mostly just noodles. Perhap they want to justify the price. If you plan to eat the La Mian, consider triple sharing for the noodles. You will have to order side dishes as the noodle does not have much ingredients... Conclusion: Dont eat the La Mian. Want La Mian go somewhere else. Total disappointment.

Yelp
Overpriced and underwhelming. They will charge you for a towel you didn't order. Go elsewhere for better and cheaper.
