This store is an absolute treasure! I've never come across a place quite like it. They have everything a collector could dream of, including an amazing variety of Pokémon cards. It’s a fun spot to explore!

For a place to be in business for 30 years on Main Street in Somerville, they must be doing something right. We were greeted nicely and provided with a high level of customer service. Around every corner, they had so many different collections of items. I would imagine there would be something for everyone here.

Absolutely love the collection here! Very lovely and engaged staff. The Swarovski items are very lovely and worth the price!

I absolutely loved this place first time I visited with a friend I was greeted kindly and the environment is so sweet. I spent time speaking with a customer on what to get because the selection is huge!!!! I got a little Disney stitch figure from the display and is adorable!!! The woman at the front desk was working on calls but made sure to talk to me before I left :) :) incredibly sweet and offered me and my friend a job because we loved our experience so much I will definitely be returning!! Maybe even working there :)

I had a negative experience in that business recently. a female employee made an inappropriate comment about my physical appearance! I shouldn't be sorry that I'm mentally disabled. The person I spoke with apologized and admitted that the employee was drinking and had one sip of wine because it was somebody birthday. That's unacceptable! And doesn't excuse the unprofessional behavior I won't be going back.

Don’t trust these people. I ordered an item online and received confirmation of the order. After a week with no shipping update, I called the store and was told they had sold the last one right before my order was placed. They made no attempt to notify me and they continue to list the item for sale on their website. I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t followed up because the item was meant as a Xmas gift.

Prices are absolutely absurd. Especially the funko pops, if you want to get one for regular price then you gotta wait until it goes on “SALE.” 😒 they tried selling me a funko pop for $60 and when I asked to look at it the back of the box looked like it got stuck in a wood chipper. I immediately said I wasn’t interested and that bothered the lady. Store itself has no focus. Like is it an antique store? A comic shop? Make up your mind. Looks desperate. Theres even junk there that shouldn’t even be sold. Place is like a goodwill for rich people. How does that even work? Lol. Anyways I cant wait till they go out of business. Hopefully we’ll get a store that isn’t trying to scam every customer. Would love to know when the going out of business sale is though. Maybe I can get a funko or two for a reasonable price.

I have visited Crystal Palace twice in the last week or so and my experience was less than pleasant. The first time was to inquire about a particular Batman statue displayed in the front window. I was told the man who handles that part of the business was not in. The woman who helped me knew nothing about the statue but took down my number and said she would call me. I never heard back. I returned to look for a mother's day gift and perhaps check back on the statue again. Apparently I had just missed the guy a second time, though one of the employees was able to get in touch and give me a price. When I reached to examine the statue though she recoiled as if concerned I would break it. I wasn't satisfied with the condition of the paint and decided to decline. What left a bad taste in my mouth was the shopping experience I had looking for the gift. I asked if they had any giraffes as that is my mother's favorite animal. I was scoffed at as if my question was ridiculous. Additionally, two of the employees made multiple comments about pricing, saying things like "I'm not sure if you want to go that high" before even giving me a price- as if to imply I couldn't afford what they had on offer. Perhaps it was the fact that I was dressed very casually, but I got the distinct feeling they had very little interest in me as a customer. Finding nothing I was interested in, I proceeded to a neighboring store I frequent where the staff were extremely friendly and helpful as always. They even carry some of the same collectibles and were charging less than Crystal Palace. I was happy to give them my money instead.

pros: this is the best crystal place ive ever been to. They had all kinds of themes here including Disney. They also had a toy section which consisted of Funko pops and action figures. prices were reasonable and the quality was present CONS: The staff was nice but one lady was just pushing sales onto us. She kept trying to convince us to buy things which i'm not a fan of OVERALL: As long as you're not bothered by pushiness i highly suggest coming here for toys or mainly crystal figures

Upon placing my very small order of one item, the only communication received from Crystal Palace was an email receipt and then all went silent. Clearly on their invoice it states shipping will happen in 5 to 7 days. And when a dozen days passed by with no change to my order, no shipping email, no nothing....I decided to cancel. And when several emails to Crystal Palace went unanswered....I thought it a good idea to warn my credit card about flagging this company should they decide they eventually wanted to fulfill my canceled purchase.

They carry an array of collectibles. I have been on a hunt for a crystal castle. Swarvorski made them way back in the day and they are now hard to find. I don't trust Amazon or eBay to ship mainly because my mail carrier has been seen tossing my packages from the end of my driveway to my door if he gets lucky and if it's not packaged to withstand heavy tossing, my castle will be in little shards. Needless took day, the sales person packaged my castle securely. Paid a fair price for it and I would definitely go back. I'm eyeing the Asian Swarvorski zodiac set.

been here several times and this place loves to charge full price for items allegedly 'on sale.' uncomfortable that owner seems to vet her own customers. agree w/ other reviewer that she talks way too much, even to the point where i assumed it was on purpose at the register so her daughter can quote you one price yet charge you for more. also, the back toy area is a mess and not well lit. a shady place literally and figuratively. never going back.

I go there sometimes they really nice people but I'm a pop hunter and their cheapest pop there is a 30 dollar figure when it's only worth 11 dollars and the chases that they have to go towards from 70 to 80$$$ when they are usually 30 to 10 $$$ but overall very good

Use caution shopping at Crystal Palace! I purchased a Precious Moments Figurine online that arrived cracked. Crystal Palace refused to acknowledge the damage, stating that was how it was manufactured..? Crystal Palace refused to let me exchange or return. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Crystal Palace replied to the credit card company, they would refund once I returned it. So NOW they will allow me to return it! OH, but I have to pay over $20 in shipping. Crystal Palace then sends me a email to ship it back and they will refund the figurine and shipping. So I do what they ask. Now they have the figurine back and they REFUSE to reimburse me for shipping! I forwarded all emails to my credit card company. I am still waiting for my permanent refund from my credit card company who told me I should have kept the figurine and they would have still got my money back. At the time I did not think that was right if I get the refund they get the figurine. I realize now they lied to me to get me to pay to ship it back to them. I got shafted! This is the WORST customer service I have experienced in a long time. My Husband tried to order another figurine for me as it was something I really wanted. Crystal Palace cancelled the order saying the item was out of stock when it is still listed on their website. Crystal Palace I hope you are happy with yourself! What goes around comes around!

"We have money" is what the owner said when I asked what was the best they could do on two items, implying that they don't need to make the sale cause they're rich. Wanted to buy a couple keepsakes that totaled around $275 and asked what the best they could do cause Amazon had both items for cheaper. I was not looking for them to match Amazons price and willing to pay the price they had for one item but the owners Socially Awkward son wouldn't budge on the price for the other item. Long story short, bought both pieces at Amazon for $25 less. Oh well, I guess they "have money" so they'll be ok.

My friend purchased a bracelet about a year ago and it broke in half. She brought it back with her receipt and immediately the owner became defensive and belligerent. She insisted that my friend stepped on it or did something to break it. It was not the point of getting her money back rather the fact that the owner of the establishment was so unhelpful and just plain rude!!! I will NEVER EVER purchase anything from this business!!! She also had an excuse for my other friends repair, which they never called her to update her on the status. When we asked the owner about it she claims the office and back area had been changed around and she didn't know where anything was. These items were not cheap items and have sentimental value and the owner could've at least gone to the back to look and see...but NO!!!! Save your money on this place and shop elsewhere!!!!!!!

If i could give a zero star, I would. I never do reviews, but almost a month ago, I had a terrible experience...This place is a horrible place to shop. The owner talks like an uneducated person. She was disrespectful, impolite, and rude. She talks so much, and when you ask her questions, she seems to be so defensive of her answer. Worst customer service ever!! Horrible!! Horrible!! Horrible!! Really disappointed by the way I got treated. Save your money and buy somewhere else! Their online sucks too!! Everything is showing in stock, but everything is out of stock!

Came in about a month again. Beautiful collection of items and friendly staff on the floor. However once I was ready to pay, I received a different experience. The middle-aged blonde woman behind the counter was so rude! She tossed my ornament into the box and when I asked if I can fix it before she tapes it up, she says do whatever you want. I asked to get it wrapped and she ignored me. If she's there again, I'm not coming in.

I am rather shocked by the other review. I have been shopping at the crystal palace for several years, and not once have I had a sour experience. The owner and workers have managed to give me a pleasant shopping experience each time I went there. TRUST ME when I say, they have the best deals in town (specially compared to the mall).

Best Store ever!!!! Love going here to shop here especially during the holidays. They always put out a bizillion christopher radko ornament s.

I purchased 5 Christopher Radko ornaments by mail in September 2018. One of the ornaments was broken when I received them. The owner, Mary, told me to take a picture of the broken ornament and send it, which I did, and she told me she would put in a claim with the mail service and refund my money. I have called at least 6 times and each time Mary (owner) has told me she would refund my money when her "Internet person" gets in. It has now been 6 weeks, and I have received no refund. I would not shop here or purchase anything by mail - if there's a problem, you WILL NOT get your money back.

Avoid this merchant! Save yourself time, trouble, and money, and shop elsewhere. They will purposefully ship you the wrong items when they are out of stock of the items you ordered (which they admitted), then refuse to refund your money when you return the items. So, they have possession of the returned items and kept my money. They won't respond to their company email. It is difficult to get them on the phone. When you do get them on the phone they are rude and unhelpful. Then they fight when you contest the charge on your credit card (a 2+ month process). They told me they never received the return but they told the credit card company they did receive the return but two days too late. The return was handled and delivered as per their own guidelines, no small feat considering their lack of response to emails and phone calls. Life is too short to waste time on people who behave and conduct business in this manner. Rude, obstinate, unreasonable. I have since found the items I tried to order through Crystal Palace, I found them elsewhere for less and hassle-free. I hope you can do the same.

I was looking for a Swarovski piece and called them. They were extremely nice on the phone and put the item on the side for me to pick up. The price was the lowest around. My wife will love this gift.

Crystal Palace without a doubt has the best prices for the top of the line Swarovski products. I get most of my xmas shopping from this place. It gets incredibly busy even before thanksgiving, but workers are polite and helpful.

Have been a customer for a long time, Mary the owner and her staff have been nothing but thoughtful and helpful. I have read what others have said on yelp. All I have to say is experience the crystal palace for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Make up your own mind, instead of letting online reviews influence where you shop ,eat etc.... reviews are only just that reviews.

Extremely disappointed with this place. I went to this store in anticipation of a good assortment of Funko Pop vinyl figures. Although this was true, the bad customer service was a huge factor in my negative review. I went two different days and had a bad experience both times. The first time I went there I was looking through their selection and heard the workers in the back swearing profusely and talking about drugs. I was extremely offended and appalled, since I was there with my little sister and these "employees" were talking about drugs and sex loud enough for the whole store to hear. When I told the owner (or whoever was in charge, I use these terms lightly), she didn't even take it seriously and told them to "quiet down" even though I said I was offended. One of the employees was named Atilla. When I mentioned to him how I could hear him swearing and that I was offended he completely ignored me. The owner ended up telling us that they were "playing a game" and the people swearing were from the game and not the people in the back, which was absolutely not true because I'm a gamer and I know this for a fact. The "employees" were the ones being vulgar and it was clear to me and my little sister, who is way too young to hear that kind of talk. I decided to give it another chance, as the Pop vinyl figure collection was good (the only redeeming factor of this place). I went back the next day and when I asked about the price of a figure, the employee was clueless and had no idea. She said we had to wait for "Atilla" who was the person being vulgar the last time I was there. I did not want to wait for someone who ignored me anyway the previous time so I just left. As I was leaving the owner asked if we still couldn't find what we wanted. We told her that the employee did not know the price of an item, and she did not offer any help or solutions. Overall, awful customer service, and vulgar employees who ignored me or had no idea what the price of an item was at the store they worked at. I was extremely disappointed because they had a good selection, but the terrible service two different visits is enough for me to never go back. Rarely do I write Yelp reviews but I was so appalled that I just had to let others know.

We are a once a year customer at Crystal Palace over about 8 yrs. The owner, Mary is a very good business person, who shows interest in her clientele, even if they only come in once a year and/or only spend a small amount of money compared to corp clients or more affluent customers. The store sells at a set % discount off retail price depending on the product...they do not say they can do any better than that (they do have suppliers to pay and answer to, in order to keep selling that product line). What I read in a previous review is a person threatening to go to Amazon, therefore bullying them to bend their pricing just for them, and then referring to the sales person as "socially awkward" because they couldn't get what they wanted (convenience of having it NOW, at price THEY wanted, not what a store could sell it for- thus there is Amazon) sounds like "sour grapes" from a bully. Oh, from seeing the owner in the store over the years, I tell you, she's not rich; she's just trying to run a business-and she truly loves her business. And appreciates her customers.....

My experience at crystal palace has been absolutely great they sometimes have to go and look for boxes which takes time but it's def. worth it ;). Anyway for new and retired Swarovski it's even better that u find on the web which is pretty cool. Idk what's wrong with this other lady must have been cheap or something what a troll lol anyway when I was there I was treated really nice they even offered me a water or coffee. So I'm only on here to let people know because they only really advertised by word of mouth. I'm tired of good people being burnt by a few bad apples and they don't even know about it. So if u want to get any cool stuff (no lie even better sales than amazon/ebay & last minute too lol) u should go to them u won't ever be disappointed I promise u ~ valued customer for over 7 years :)) ~ John S.

The content of my order was beautiful but one of the boxes the Waterford Christmas tree came in was broken both top and bottom. I just sent a note to Crystal Palace asking for them to send me a new box for storage purposes. We will see. The person packing this crystal could not have missed this.
