Full bar service showcasing an extensive menu of Old Smoky Moonshine and Whiskey cocktails and flights rounds out the offerings. Google
They get 2 stars for ambiance. The place is surrounded by Mountain Laurel so I am sure it is gorgeous in June. However, my husband's $19 ribs were like jerky. Way overcooked and hard as a rock. My salmon was hard all the way around the edge. And my rice pilaf had pieces of rice that were hard as rock. Very disappointed in the waitress who should have noticed that my husband ate one rib. As we left someone said something to us, and I told them they needed a new chef. His response was "I do?" No attempt to find out what was wrong. Go for a drink, enjoy the ambiance. But don't pay for food!

We had our wedding reception dinner here and it was an amazing experience!! The owners and staff were so great. Our server was phenomenal. The food was outstanding as well. 10/10 would recommend for anyone out of state that needs a good spot for a reception dinner!! Thanks so much for having us :) we will be back!

Google
Beautiful scenery. Large selection of mixed drinks and moonshine. Service was great. Food was slightly better than average but not knock your taste buds off. Be aware that there's more parking closer to the building than it first appears.

Google
One star for the food is too much. The prime rib tasted like a hot dog. The NY strip was okay. Baked potatoes were not seasoned at all and "butter" had no taste. Drinks were okay, pretty much only ole smokey moonshine. It was a long wait to get our food and they weren't very busy, it even took about 15mins to get seated...looking back we should of just walked out. We didn't even get the right check because the waiter had swapped our checks with another table and I guess the other people didn't notice and just paid our bill and left.

Husband and I were on vacation and the lovely & delicious Crystelle Creek was within walking distance, what a gem! We headed off one evening and the walk, with the lights & the water seemed magical as the building is set back "in the forest". Josh took great care of us. I had the moonshine flight, shrimp cocktail & prime rib. Husband had the shrimp cocktail, steak & baked potato. Pretty sure it came with rolls & salad also. It was excellent, every bit of it. We had a lovely meal and great service. Hope to return should we visit the area again, it was delish!!

We got to enjoy celebrating my son getting married October 8th to the love of his life. We were blessed with your venue for the dinner. It was enough space for family and service was great as well as friendly. We enjoyed delicious food. We were impressed by your beautiful restaurant and quality of food & service. Thank you for making Chris and Amber reception dinner memorable.

Google
The food is extremely bland. The atmosphere is nice and the service is good, but neither of those make up for the extremely bland food. The kids butter noodles is swimming even after dumping out half of the butter.

Google
Service was excellent! I really enjoyed the vibe of this place very chill and relaxed. They have a bar and giant TVs so the boys could watch football.

Carl Y.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this awesome restaurant. Server (Josh) was very friendly and the food came out quick and was delicious!! We had the Prime Rib, which was nicely seasoned and tender and the Ribs, which were "fall off the bone" and very tasty. The atmosphere is very unique, the restaurant sits over a pond overlooking a creek. Reasonably priced with good sized portions

Yelp
Very "clique-ish" restaurant. If you know the staff and owner personally, you'll receive friendly service. Witnessed it time and again. If you're new, you're treated like an outsider. Not professional and while the ambiance is kind of cool with the waterfall-outdoor roof, the food is subpar at best. Cheesecurds are SO hot from spices, you'll need to love HOT food or order a couple of glasses of milk. Prime rib is ok, once you remove the 2/3 fat. Salad is a salad. The shorthaired blonde behind the bar is always there and friends with all the locals. If an elderly local hits on you and you politely decline, your service is s*** the rest of the night. This is what I mean about clique-ish. Go elsewhere. Not sure where? Me either *sigh*, except downtown Gatlinburg.

Yelp
Mediocre. Went on Wednesday night. Party of 10 so we had to wait 30 minutes for a table but when we went to tent back, restaurant was half full and they had two tables for 10 empty. Staffing problem? I had the prime rib. Came on a cast iron skillet but the cast iron was cold. And the food was warm but not hot. Granddaughter had chicken Alfredo. She said the sauce was watery, chicken was charred, and broccoli was crunchy. Three people in our party had steaks and all three came out on cold cast iron with barely warm steaks. Sangria was really good. It was close to Rocky Top Sports so closest place to eat. Will not return despite how close it is to the sports complex.

Paula L.

Yelp
I give it 3 stars. Kids give it 4. So, 4 it is. Kids got chicken and broccoli Alfredo and loved it. I got burger. Meat was very good. Bun was cold, but I normally peel most of it away, so it wasn't really a problem for me. My son got burger with added bacon and cheese, and they were not stingy with either and he really enjoyed it. I was not a fan of the sweet potato fries. The regular fries were much better. We also got prime rib which was very good. Service was stellar. Ambiance was nice.

Kim W.

Yelp
What a interesting place off main drag food was good the wait staff waz really nice. Has alot of moonshine cocktail options

Fleu M.

Yelp
I thought everything was amazing, I got the flounder and shrimp it was fantastic. My wife got the prime rib and she loved it. We had a party of 12 and the service was outstanding. Our server was Ivy and she very attentive and did an outstanding job. Drinks were great as well, We were all very happy we chose this establishment. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Anna M.

Yelp
We had a large party. The place is beautiful. A lovely environment. We were excited at first. They seated us quickly. Service was slow but we were a large party so we give grace. The filet was cooked perfectly and the Caesar salad was full of flavor and loaded with Parmesan and croutons. We had lots of salads so it did seem odd that the food took as long as it did. 45-50 minutes. We stopped checking the time when we hit 40 minutes. It came a few minutes after that. The food was tasty and everyone was pleased with their meals. Just a little slow. The server did not offer any updates as we waited. That may have helped.

Beau D.

Yelp
Pretty good place to eat I got the Salmon and it was ok, I thought they over cooked it but it was still good. Venue is very very nice. Very pretty setting with creek nearby. The service was also very good, waiter cared to all of our needs. Also the Pasta looked really good as well. Only downside is the Salmon was overcooked but other than that, not bad considering my group had 13 people in it.

Michelle F.

Yelp
Great ambiance with creek and water and all the windows. Loved the big chairs. Service was fairly quick and our server was knowledgeable I just didn't like that ALL the steaks were listed as market price so you had to ask the price of each one. I ordered the blackened salmon. It was seasoned well but could have used a sauce. The sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had!

John M.

Yelp
Food was good, but nothing to write home about. service was okay. The rolling seats are not toddler friendly!

Todd K.

Yelp
The prime rib was lukewarm and didn't have much flavor at all. The salad and loaded baked potato were good. They have a nice view of a brook out the rear windows. Service was good.

Yelp
Crystelle creek is a lovely Gatlinburg food establishment that offers Italian, seafood and steaks. My family and I were in town from Lousiville for the weekend for our daughters cheer competition. Upon checking places out our first night here this place stuck out. It had a 50 foot lit up tree and was surrounding by lovely water and offered types of food we enjoyed. So it was a no brainer. We made the trip out. I will say this place was breathtaking beautiful. The lit up tree and the backdrop are all post card material. The establishment itself has a nice vibe and is rather large but kind of in a strange L shape pattern. We were able to catch an immediate seat on This late Thursday night in March. Service here was pretty solid and fast. We started with an app of Wisconsin cheese curds. The curds weren't bad but they were incredibly spicy. Crust had nice Golden crisp taste to them and cheese when you wasn't picking up strong spice hints had good flavor. Me personally I went with the Chicken parm. It was not very good. Chicken was rubbery, had a lack of cheese and also had a really spicy flavor as well. Just wasn't very good. My wife got the spaghetti bake and said it was just decent. Spice level on her food was good but she said it was nothing that wowed her. My younger kids got the kids chicken tenders and Mac and cheese. They ate majority so no complaints from them. My oldest got the Chicken broccoli Alfredo. She did not like it at all. She took a few bites and apologized to me and my wife because she was not going to finish it. She just didn't like the flavor. Overall this place is beautiful and we wanted to love it. The food we had on this trip was lacking. Maybe we made the wrong call on wanting Italian from here. Maybe their speciality is steaks and seafood. But overall while the tree and waterfall will be memorable the food will not be.

Yelp
Food average to good. Ambiance excellent!! Service good very attentive. Very Good beer, wine and brink menu.

P D.

Yelp
We had the Captains platter (flounder and Shrimp), the salmon with bourbon glaze, and the 1/2 smoked chicken. The loaded baked potato was absolutely loaded with bacon! Everyone loved their meals. We also shared bites with each other and everyone agreed the was great food. The service was spot on as well. We enjoyed the view in the creek and the koi pond. The water coming off the roof was a nice touch as well.

Beth M.

Yelp
It's a cute place. One side sits along the creek the other side sits along a koi pond. The bug tree they are famous for it's dead and only 1/6 of the lights are working. We sat at the bar while we waited for a table. Odd that we had to wait since the restaurant was only 1/3 full. The bartenders were not quick. I ordered a margarita that came out of a bottle. Wasn't good. Their wine by the glass was either red/merlot or white/Chardonnay, with no makers of the wine. They had a few choices to purchase bottles, but not many. Our service was not good. I don't remember the gentleman's name who waited on is, but he was very, very slow and not helpful. The restaurant wasn't even 1/2 full and service was not good. We were a party of 2 and a 7 top day down after us, finished their dinner as we were being served ours. I asked what the Dallas burger was and he said just a burger, everything on the menu had names that didn't mean anything. My husband had the prime rib special medium rare. He said it was good and cooked well. I ordered the filet medium rare. It came out well done, no pink. When I got ahold of the waiter he had them make me another one. I'm not sure if it was over cooked by the cooks or because our service was so slow it sat awhile for him to serve it. The second steak was cooked as ordered. The problem I had was my husband finished his prime rib before I was served my filet. The mushrooms and onions side was not good. The mushrooms were rubbery and tasted like they came from a can. They were served in a butter broth. They were out of their signature blackberry vinaigrette, so we were not able to try that. Very disappointing as it was listed as one of the top 10 restaurants in Gatlinburg.

Jonathan R.

Yelp
Food was good, but not fantastic. They had a great selection of whiskies and moonshine from the ever-present That Which Should Not Be Named Smoky Mountains Company. Wife had the chicken Alfredo pasta...I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce. It was a bit on the bland side and could have used about five more cloves of garlic. I had the steak, macaroni and cheese and onions and mushrooms. Highly recommend the onions and mushrooms to go with the steak, but the macaroni was decent at best. Service was good, with the waiter being attentive to our needs and stopping by a good number of times to check up on us. The roof and atmosphere was interesting--it kinda looks like someone erected a shack on top of a creek at the base of a mountain. A pipe system was set up atop the roof to trickle water over the awnings, creating a constant rainfall effect.

Paula Q.

Yelp
Good food, Service could be better . We were a party of 11 (5 adults, 6 kids) arrived early, before 5 pm, seated right away. Our server Bryce, was probably the worst server I've had in Tennessee. Whenever we asked about something, he was short with his answer. I guess he figured he didn't have to be nice because gratuity would automatically be added to bill because of size party we had. Food was good, so that was a plus. Martinis were served in a small stemless wine glass, definitely not worth the price as it was only filled 1/2 way, it was more like a shot. Steaks were a bit overpriced, $34.00 for a NY strip or Prime Rib. Would I go back? No, for the prices they charge, I expect better service.

Gillian F.

Yelp
So delicious! We went here on our last night dinner while staying in Gatlinburg and it's definitely not as popular as most restaurants on the strip but it was nice to walk in and get seated right away. The place was definitely a little old they could use some upgrades but overall the food was delicious and our service was top notch.

Nicole P.

Yelp
Super cute atmosphere and the creek is awesome! Appetizers were delicious and food was definitely enough to share! Our waiter Bryce was excellent too.

Jeremy A.

Yelp
Very cool atmosphere and our waiter was extremely attentive and friendly. We had a large group of 9 with 4 kids and everything was very good from pasta to shrimp to salmon. Catfish bites appetizer was delicious.

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
The restaurant was really, really good. I ordered the spaghetti back and very pleased with the homemade sauce, and made-in house spicy Italian dressing. The mushrooms were probably the best I have had. I would suggest the spicy Italian dressing as your dipping sauce with them. Hubs ordered the roasted chicken. It was a strong dish, but probably the least impressive as we tend to prefer heavily seasoned. Service was fantastic.

April B.

Yelp
This place is near our cabin when we're in town so it's a convenient spot. The menu is pretty basic here and is somewhat on the pricey side for what you get but service is always great and they treat you well here. It's usually pretty quiet even when busy and there are two areas for seating. The bar is a gorgeous area, backlit, copper counter. If you're near and looking for a nice spot it's a good one. There is a creek, like the name implies, and it is so nice to sit and eat at any windows- they've all got a nice water view.

Debbie P.

Yelp
Was there for a wedding rehearsal dinner and it was sad. I felt so bad for the groom's parents as they were stuck paying for some of the worst food I've ever been served. The air was not working in the room we were placed in, on a 93 degree day. They originally had two servers for 40 people; however, when they started bringing in entrees (about 8 plates at a time on a cart), there was only one server. So it took about 30 minutes or more to just serve the food and most of the food was cold. On top of the food being cold, the description of the grilled chicken was 2-6 oz tender and tasty chicken breast. In reality, I was served chicken that had been BOILED and then thrown on the grill just so it had grill marks. It was tough, chewy, and tasteless. One piece I couldn't even cut into. The guests sitting around me that ordered steak were having to saw their meat apart. I honestly thought they were going to saw through their plates. It was probably one of the worst meals I've ever been served. Sad! Would never go here.

Yelp
Upon arrival this place is absolutely beautiful. We got seated against the windows and had a beautiful view of the creek. Only complain about the outside was cigarette butts everywhere. They had no pop when we went due to a machine being broken. We decided to get alcohol and it took my husband ordering 3 drinks before picking one they had the ingredients to make. I ordered a drink and it had an ant in it and I had to send it back. Starting with the kids, I do want to note the seats are on wheels. Our kids are too big for a highchair/boosters, but are also super wiggly and almost fell out of their seats numerous times. We had to hold each kids chair with a foot or hand to make sure they didn't slide out. The Mac n cheese kids meal was very large, it was enough for both our kids to share. The chicken tender kids meal was tiny. It came with 3 tenders that were so small and equates to 1 regular sized tender. Onto the adult meals- my husband got prime rib. He was fairly disappointed. He said it wasn't very good, and it was full of inedible fat. Half of it was fat. I got a ribeye, which was good. Nothing exceptional, a little under seasoned in my opinion, but it was good. I also got sweet potato fries that were the best I've ever had. The ambiance was amazing and a nice experience, the kids loved the creek. But we paid $160 for two kids meals, 2 adult meals, and 3 drinks. I would expect my food to be exceptional at that cost.

Shannon R.

Yelp
The setting of this place is just amazing! I honestly felt like I was at some spa. There's a creek on one side of the restaurant that you can see and the other side has water dripping from the shingles which is just really relaxing to watch. I was excited for the food due to the ambiance but unfortunately I felt like everything was under seasoned. I had to add salt to everything because the food just tasted like nothing. The macaroni I was super watery so tons of salt had to be added to that. The tea was really good though! The dessert was definitely the best part. I had the chocolate cake and it was absolutely divine. Not sure if I would ever come back but it wasn't terrible. My family would've given them a four stars so definitely not a bad place to eat. I'm just a bit pickier.

Larissa R.

Yelp
Best food we had in the area, hands down. Our server, Josh, had us laughing the entire time. Also saw my first 2 bears of the trip here! We were seated on the side with the koi pond which was such a fun touch and we loved the "rain" rolling off the roof. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Stephen G.

Yelp
Good food and great service. We had 20 people in our party and the waitress was EXCELLENT

Casey B.

Yelp
Food poisoning should be listed on the menu! My family and I went here because it was close to the cabin we were staying at. The ambiance was definitely interesting: chairs on wheels, water constantly streaming off the roof, and an overall retirement home dining room vibe. I ordered the prime rib and thought it was good but nothing else on the table really stood out. My family that was starving before the meal barely ate their food. And we're not usually picky people! Before we even got back to the cabin, all five of us started feeling... not great. Let's just say that night wasn't filled with board games and s'mores like we had hoped. The only thing we all ate were the cheese curds, so I assume that was the culprit of our crappy (literally) night. This was definitely not ideal considering we were on vacation and wanted to spend as much time with each other, not in separate bathrooms.

Anne K.

Yelp
Saturday night around 7pm requested seatings for 4 and was seated right away. It was our first visit here and like the more rustic atmosphere. Waiter can quickly with water for table (water tasted great so assumed it was filtered). Ordered some drinks which also came quickly. Menu choices were reasonably varied but we ordered jumbo shrimp (10) on rice with included 2 sides, salmon & steak dinners. Everything was plentiful, served hot and very tasty. Service was prompt & friendly. Very enjoyable evening and we had no room for dessert.

Joy H.

Yelp
This is my third time. The first time was decent, the second time was meh, but this time was flat out bad. No more chances... The quality of my chicago fillet was mediocre at best. It was mushy and flavorless. The mac and cheese was obviously out of a box. I can't believe you don't even make the effort to make it from scratch... Literally, the best thing was the side salad. On my worst day with a blinding headache, I can make better food.

Hayley M.

Yelp
Extremely friendly service and nice ambience. The food was hit or miss. Our party ordered two steaks, the chicken, two orders of ribs, and salad. The steaks were very tasty, and the chicken was good, but the mac n cheese and the ribs were terrible. The ribs were mostly fat and gristle, and were grossly overpriced at $19 for a half rack. I left very unsatisfied. It was a shame because the steak was so good, and our server Benny was awesome.

Jessika B.

Yelp
Live music on the night we went. Entertainment was good, food was good, service was good. Would certainly return

U J.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants. Service is always spot on, drinks & food are really good and the best part is the ambiance! Tucked away against a mountain and a sparkling creek, it's so easy to get lost in your daydreams as you look at the beauty that is Tennessee surrounding you.

Genei' D.

Yelp
Difficult to enter with walking disabilities, but manageable. I had the steak with salad, really tasty without a lot of extra "marinades" Salad could have been better managed in a larger bowl, but very good and fresh. We tried an array of selections. Nice, big burgers. Pasta was nice, agree with other reviews that sauces needed more flavor like garlic and oregano. Everything tasted freshly made. The sweet potato fries were really good. Lighting was low and it was fairly cold while we ate. Staffing was very limited so getting refills was challenging. However, she did a good job with all she had to take care of. Very nice location so we did not have to fight the traffic downtown. View of the creek was nice. Overall enjoyable experience. It wasn't everyone's favorite in our party, but we all agreed to do 4 stars. I would return.

Lana H.

Yelp
Oh my! We were out riding and just happened up on this diamond in the rough. It was nice to get out of the chaos of downtown and relax. The atmosphere was very relaxing. No wait and fast service at a reasonable price. We started with the cheese curds and homemade marinara. One word.... outstanding and the order was huge! We both chose the prime rib. It was some of the best I have ever tasted. The green beans, loaded baked potato, side salad and mushrooms were amazing. The ranch is homemade. Very, very good food with an affordable price, huge servings and nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back on our return to the Gatlinburg area!!

William R.

Yelp
A few miles away from the madness of downtown this gem offers all the local flare without the crowds. The restaurant itself is unique - long dining rooms with floor to ceiling glass windows on both of the long sides offer views of the native fauna on one side and perpetual "rain" flowing down the tin roof on the other side. The moonshine blackberry lemonade and moonshine sour apple were tremendous: refreshing, sweet and with that moonshine touch. Be careful, these drinks are dangerous. My wife and I both had the Nashville prime rib. The PR is smoked to rare and then boiled in au jus to reach the desired temperature. Our slices are very thick. At the risk of over-promising, this was probably the best PR I've had to date. The Smokey flavor means you don't even need the horseradish or au jus. But those were fantastic too. We cleaned up our fried cheese curds. And be sure to try the spicy Italian dressing if you get a salad. Wonderful flavor and an actual kick. Waiter was super helpful, friendly and quick. 5* = incredible (rare) 4* = very good/ strong desire to return 3* = generally good experience 2* = poor/ no desire to return 1* = a particularly awful experience

Elbert N.

Yelp
We had been here several years ago. Now new management and the food was excellent. Elaine had Alfredo and broccoli with chicken. I had the Chicago Filet with baked potato. We were very happy with our choices. Cathy was an excellent waitress and took care of us.

Valerie S.

Yelp
The water coming down the roof effect is beautiful super cozy vibe, the food was pretty good I recommend the cheese bites. And it was super clean! And the servers were so kind and friendly I loved it!

Cutie P.

Yelp
There was a hair in two items of my food, my steak was requested to be medium well, no pink and it came out RED dripping. love the service and servers tho, get your kitchen staff together.

Charles G.

Yelp
This restaurant charges fine dining prices with McDonalds quality food. $34.00 for a prime rib that took 45 minutes to serve. Was cold, and so was the baked potato side dish. My partners dish chicken Santa fe was served dry with bacon so salty it was in edible. The only enjoyable part was the decor.

Sharon C.

Yelp
Horrible prime rib! I ordered mine medium and it came out extra well done! All of our food was just bad tasting. The only good thing was the drinks. Never again!

Jose G.

Yelp
Been coming here for 12 years consecutively. Same wait staff even though different ownership. Everyone was happy

Michelle N.

Yelp
Wow! We had ribs and filet and both were excellent. Both were juicy, tender and tasty. And the service was excellent. Would definitely come back!!! Thanks for a wonderful meal.

Paul G.

Yelp
What an awesome place! This little gem was a diamond in the rough. They were able to accommodate 13 of us with no wait (2 tables, one for adults and the other for our kids). Ben was our server, who was fantastic. He made great recommendations and was very patient with our big group. The atmosphere was excellent, the water dripping from the roof forming icicles was a very nice touch. The food was priced well, and everyone was happy with their orders. We got a variety of dishes... Prime rib, NY Strip, Sirloin, salmon, burgers, fried cheese curds and more. The steaks were cooked exactly to everyones liking, and the salmon was perfect cooked. Most of us got the house salad as a side, and several including myself got the spicy creamy Italian dressing. It was definitely spicy, but absolutely delicious. (I will be adding spice to my Italian dressing from now on!) Big thanks to the staff! We will DEFINITELY be returning on future visits.

Erin B.

Yelp
The place was nice and it looked cute but the food didn't taste good, it tasted and looked like something you would heat up in the microwave. The spaghetti I got was supposed to have mozzarella cheese on it but I barely saw any cheese! And the meatballs were there but they were buried in the spaghetti. When we got back to the house we all felt sick to our stomachs.

Anthony B.

Yelp
The food was decent. The only issues we had was slow service and it sucks that the lights on the tree wasn't working all the way.

Heidi A.

Yelp
Our steaks were marginal for the price. I had much higher expectations. From our table near a widow on the back side, we could see cobwebs all over the windows. The saving grace was the keylime pie. It was delicious Our waiter was also very attentive.

Shann S.

Yelp
This quiet oasis nestled into the hills of the Smokey Mountains was the perfect place to celebrate two birthdays. We happened to be seated in the large group room as a wedding reception was being held, but we never were disturbed nor bothered by the noise. As we sat viewing the rolling creek, Agatha brought us appetizers of catfish bites and shrimp cocktail. I'd chosen a crisp pinot grigio to pair with my entree of grilled salmon and sautéed veggies. Perfecto! Many at our table raved about their fried fish platters as well. We missed the live entertainment and twinkle lights as described by other reviewers due to our earlier dining time, so make sure you catch that. However, as we walked to the car with our bellies full and listening to the bubbling creek, we felt tranquil indeed!

Chris P.

Yelp
Wry nice! Stopped here for drinks. Ended up ordering dinner. Great food, great service, and LOVE the atmosphere! Lori the bartender is a superstar. Will re-cost here without hesitation.
