I got here with the afterwork crowd. It was about half full and they seemed fully staffed. I sat myself at the bar waited. The bartender took my order for a drink and food, never explained if it was Happy hour, specials of any kind. I was given a menu and I figured it out. Like a big boy. The food arrived promptly, warm, not hot, but very tasty. I tried the street tacos combo. Had steak and shrimp, flour tortillas and Mexican style rice. The steak was seasoned and the sauce on top complimented really well. The same sauce was on the shrimp tacos and it didn't work. The shrimp was chewy and like I stated before just warm at best. The Mexican style rice was was more like Mexican style paste or goop, and tasted warm and bland, not a good mix. I was also served fried tortillas and 3 different sauces, what they were I cannot say, but one was really tasty and with the right amount of spicyness. But you will have to figure out which just like I did. I ordered the house margarita for happy hour it was $5, good deal. The first one was ok, but the second the bartender really kicked it up a notch and I didn't order more after that. Maybe a little bit more consistency can fix that but if I didn't have to catch a movie I would probably have stayed just for the wild pours. Overall I I think it's a cool place in a cool area, but it needs a little discipline and or systems in place. I observed plenty of hanging by the bar and phone usage, which is pretty normal for today but this is where service can be improved. I think for groups this would be good, between 3-7, more than that you won't really enjoy it.
