I am writing this based on two experiences. One visit from April 2025 with a friend and one visit from July with my husband. I gave the score (3/5 stars) based on an ave of both visits.
From my visit on April 22nd:
Pros: We had tacos, margaritas, and chips/dips and had a great time. From 4-6 there is a happy hour with $6.99 margaritas, which we enjoyed very much. They had Impossible meat as an option for tacos, as well as other traditional options, chicken, beef, steak, fish, vegetables, etc. I had both an Impossible and a Vegetable and both were flavorful and full of stuff. The margaritas were also very nice. Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
Cons: We sat on the patio, which was great, except many of the chairs had bird droppings, and we had to swap out for clean chairs. I was surprised that they don't power wash the chairs regularly, and/or have a better system in place to deter the birds, many of the chairs were in bad condition from the birds, hard to look at while eating.
Note to management: Clean the patio chairs.
Overall score: 4-4.5/5 stars.
From my visit on July 19:
Pros: We had burritos, Corona Light, and chips/salsa. I chose Impossible Meat as the protein and my husband chose chicken. The beer was cold.
Cons: Upon arrival, we were going to be seated at a table next to the kitchen w/ripped seats. I asked for another table and got one. The burritos were served with a generous pour of queso and salsa verde drizzle. The queso was so thick, it was like glue, and ruined it. The protein was very scarce and dry. Not at all like the food I had in April.
Our server was barely there (took order/brought the check), and when she took our order/brought the check, there was no interaction; she wrote down what we wanted and walked away. She and most of the staff were watching the fight on TV at the bar.
Note to management: improve customer service/interaction; fix the seats & queso, and clean the mens room.
Overall rating: 1-1.5/5 stars
