The food here is amazing! Even the chips and salsa were top quality. The chips taste like they are made in house. We ordered the beef, chicken, and shrimp fajitas and they were perfect. It is enough food for 3 to 4 people though. They didn't bring enough tortillas so we had to ask for more. The meats are so tender and the seasonings they use will make your mouth water. This dish does not disappoint. Highly recommend!

I waited over 15 minutes to get a drink. The chips were so salty and the pico de gallo and salsa too. I do not recommend this place for authentic Mexican food. I did not have a great experience. I tried. The drink that I ordered had incredible amount of tajin. Everything that I asked for Chuck a really long time to come.

We were visiting Fort Lauderdale and stayed at a nearby Marriott hotel, and had a dinner at this Mexican restaurant. We ordered four main courses for four people, but ended up with finishing only about three dishes. The Fujitas were huge in portion that it definitely can be shared with two people.

The food was absolutely delicious and truly authentic, with rich flavors and beautiful presentation. Every dish we tried was fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of taste, making the entire dining experience extremely enjoyable. What truly made our visit unforgettable was the outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of. A special thank you to Axel, our server, who was professional, kind, and consistently attentive throughout the entire meal. His service really elevated our experience. We would also like to recognize Michel, the manager, who was amazing and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. His attention to detail and hospitality did not go unnoticed. The restaurant itself is beautiful, very clean, and has a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to come back. From the exceptional food to the impeccable service and genuine hospitality, everything was excellent. We had a wonderful time and couldn’t recommend this place more. Happy New Year, and thank you for such a fantastic experience!

Ordered from here last week and food was amazing so once I found out I was coming back again this week I knew where i was getting dinner. When I opened my boxes to find one taco to be only meat amd sauce and the other taco with very little lettuce and half without cheese I was definitely disappointed. Not sure what happened last week to tonight but definitely not my money's worth.

We had a fantastic experience at this Mexican restaurant, and a big part of it was thanks to our server, Axel. From the moment we arrived, he was welcoming, professional, and very attentive. He took the time to explain the menu, offered excellent recommendations for both food and drinks, and made sure everything came out perfectly. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, and Axel consistently checked in to ensure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. His positive attitude, great customer service, and attention to detail truly made our dining experience enjoyable and memorable. Axel is an excellent server and a real asset to the restaurant. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend asking for him when you visit!

I got here with the afterwork crowd. It was about half full and they seemed fully staffed. I sat myself at the bar waited. The bartender took my order for a drink and food, never explained if it was Happy hour, specials of any kind. I was given a menu and I figured it out. Like a big boy. The food arrived promptly, warm, not hot, but very tasty. I tried the street tacos combo. Had steak and shrimp, flour tortillas and Mexican style rice. The steak was seasoned and the sauce on top complimented really well. The same sauce was on the shrimp tacos and it didn't work. The shrimp was chewy and like I stated before just warm at best. The Mexican style rice was was more like Mexican style paste or goop, and tasted warm and bland, not a good mix. I was also served fried tortillas and 3 different sauces, what they were I cannot say, but one was really tasty and with the right amount of spicyness. But you will have to figure out which just like I did. I ordered the house margarita for happy hour it was $5, good deal. The first one was ok, but the second the bartender really kicked it up a notch and I didn't order more after that. Maybe a little bit more consistency can fix that but if I didn't have to catch a movie I would probably have stayed just for the wild pours. Overall I I think it's a cool place in a cool area, but it needs a little discipline and or systems in place. I observed plenty of hanging by the bar and phone usage, which is pretty normal for today but this is where service can be improved. I think for groups this would be good, between 3-7, more than that you won't really enjoy it.

Google
This was my first time going here and we had the best experience! All thanks to Jason! The service was quick, our drinks were mixed to perfection and he gave us great conversation. What shocked us most is that he was working, SMILING and entertaining us as if he wasn’t going through a difficult time in life and for that I wish I could’ve given him another 5 stars. Thank you Jason for your incredibly great service and for showing up and pushing through your own personal struggles to keep us taken care of! You’ve just earned yourself two regulars! God bless🙏🏽🙏🏽

Yelp
Happy hour is only on skinny margaritas and frozen margaritas. Not on food. The hh margaritas were good and a good value at $5. The food looked good, but we're looking for happy hour deals, so we went somewhere else. The service was good! We didn't get chips and salsa until we were ready to go, but they were tasty. This place is big and nice. I love the modern look and outdoor seating. I might return with some girlies

Yelp
I've been here a few times but over a few months ago. it was always an okay experience, however tonight (this review is a little delayed and happened in Aug) was something else. Also a weeknight. A group of 4 of us came and sat at the bar. Waited about 15 minutes to be acknowledged and probably another 5-10 to get a drink order taken. Then 2 of them made it over. The bartender spilled the 3rd and the 4th never got made. We were trying to give the guy the benefit of the doubt but honestly we saw him immediately greeting at least 2 other groups that came in. At that point, we cashed out and left. My drink was good but for $16, the service was lacking.

Yelp
Overall 3 Food 3 Service 3 Ambience 3 I am writing this based on two experiences. One visit from April 2025 with a friend and one visit from July with my husband. I gave the score (3/5 stars) based on an ave of both visits. From my visit on April 22nd: Pros: We had tacos, margaritas, and chips/dips and had a great time. From 4-6 there is a happy hour with $6.99 margaritas, which we enjoyed very much. They had Impossible meat as an option for tacos, as well as other traditional options, chicken, beef, steak, fish, vegetables, etc. I had both an Impossible and a Vegetable and both were flavorful and full of stuff. The margaritas were also very nice. Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Cons: We sat on the patio, which was great, except many of the chairs had bird droppings, and we had to swap out for clean chairs. I was surprised that they don't power wash the chairs regularly, and/or have a better system in place to deter the birds, many of the chairs were in bad condition from the birds, hard to look at while eating. Note to management: Clean the patio chairs. Overall score: 4-4.5/5 stars. From my visit on July 19: Pros: We had burritos, Corona Light, and chips/salsa. I chose Impossible Meat as the protein and my husband chose chicken. The beer was cold. Cons: Upon arrival, we were going to be seated at a table next to the kitchen w/ripped seats. I asked for another table and got one. The burritos were served with a generous pour of queso and salsa verde drizzle. The queso was so thick, it was like glue, and ruined it. The protein was very scarce and dry. Not at all like the food I had in April. Our server was barely there (took order/brought the check), and when she took our order/brought the check, there was no interaction; she wrote down what we wanted and walked away. She and most of the staff were watching the fight on TV at the bar. Note to management: improve customer service/interaction; fix the seats & queso, and clean the mens room. Overall rating: 1-1.5/5 stars

Yelp
The enchiladas con Chile Verde, had no Chile Verde or any sauce. The waiter never came back until closing. He never brought the condiments i requested or checked on us. Other folks at the table had tacos. They liked them. When I told the waiter that there was only cheese and sour creme on two of our plates, he came back and told us that they are claiming they did put the Chile Verde salsa on the enchiladas. The enchiladas were made with flour tortillas. All in all folks in the kitchen and the waiter seemed inexperienced.. sorry, but not sorry for the 100 dollars spent. Chips and salsa were good.

Yelp
Massive cantina style restaurant across from the Bowlero in Dania Point. Came here tonight for the first time for drinks and appetizers and loved the large colorful artsy decor throughout. The large roll up industrial style garage doors divding the outside patio and the bar area was a nice addition. The bartender Anthony was personable and had a good attitude. We shared the shrimp ceviche (wife raved about this) with a Hugo Spritz and a cold beer. The roasted chips with fresh salsa dip were surprisingly complementary and were absolutely devine. The green menu looks similar to a giant conversational end table novel and the food offerings are extensive with a decent happy hour. The bathroom's red hue lighting although innovative, provided limited visual during use. The metal garbage can was overflowing with used paper towels which formed a small mound on the floor below the sink yearning for attention. This experience was worthy of a strong 4.6 star review rating.

Yelp
Pretty good experience for taco Tuesday. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was super attentive. The tacos are $2 , and are tiny, but good. There are multiple meats available and they can be topped with onion and cilantro. The drinks were pretty good as well. I went with the coconut margarita and really enjoyed the flavor and slightly creamy texture.

Yelp
Looooooove when complimentary chips and salsa shows up. That set the tone that this restaurant is cool!!!! We got the 4 mini street tacos (shrimp, chorizo, 2 carnitas), and the quesadilla (chicken). Espresso Martini was perfect and Margarita was nice. We liked the old tequila bottle with the water refill. Our waitress was kind and food was delicious. The music was hittin, the vibe was cool. Free Parking in the garage next door was really easy. It was the perfect meal, def gonna be back again because it's in front of the Dania Improv and the Nike clearance store which are frequent in my Dania Pointe rotation.

Yelp
Amazing food great service a little pricy food made fresh I got the burrito big and left overs . Beautiful scenery . Great hang out spot .

Yelp
Took a seat at the bar looking out onto the expansive outside patio and had good conversation with the bartender. Enjoyed a strong flavorful Hugo Spritz with fresh mint garnish. The shrimp ceviche was smelled great and was a refreshing app with my cocktail. Had a relaxing time and will return for happy hour soon.

Yelp
The food is good , comes out nice and fresh . The service ... oh man is NOT THE BEST . The only reason I like going to CT Cantina & Taqueria is because of Tajon and Taco Tuesday ! Tajon is an amazing bartender always smiling , always willing to answer your questions . The General Manager is useless he does not do ( sorry for my language ) shit ! He sits on his ass and stays on his phone . The servers , same thing useless . Tajon deserves a promotion or raise because he is the only one actually working . If you so happen to stop by , sit at the bar or ask for Tajon ! The ambiance is nice seating for both indoor and outdoor .

Yelp
I've been twice, both times for Taco Tuesday. You definitely have to know what to order but the specials are a steal-- $1.99 street tacos & $4.99 margaritas from 12-6 pm daily. The choriqueso is ok but I honestly prefer the chips & salsa as an appetizer. The pastor taco is my favorite & the most flavorful but the carnitas is good too. I'm usually a fan of steak tacos but it was my least favorite--too dry & bland. The first time I upgraded to coconut cilantro rice which lacked flavor. The second time I got black beans with my tacos instead which I loved! I always get a frozen passionfruit mango margarita & 1 gets the job done! This place is great for a quick lunch, evening happy hour or Taco Tuesday.

Yelp
We were on vacation and stopped here for dinner as the outside ambiance looked nice. Our first clue should have told us to go somewhere else since there were very few customers. We had a party of 9 and the service was terrible.......never got water, chicken bowls did not come with half the ingredients, my husband had to go to the bar to get his drink since the waitress never did bring it, service was slow and once meals came none of us had silverware and basically everything was terrible. I would have given a zero rating and would not recommend anyone to eat at this restaurant. I would imagine they will go out of business or close the restaurant.

Yelp
This is located right inside of Dania Point! I had high hopes for this Mexican restaurant due to its very nice location. The prices were pretty high for example for 3 tacos it was $19+ depending on what meat you choose. The meats were dry and did not have that much flavor which I was shocked! Our server was pretty slow even though there were not that many tables seated inside nor outside. We had to call her attention multiple times to ask for water, napkins, and our food. On the bright side, besides a nice location, they do give you complimentary chips with four sauces which were nice. The staff should keep up with the maintenance in the women's bathroom, it was pretty dirty with toilet paper all over the floor, clogged toilets, and no soap to wash our hands with :/ I come to Dania Pointe often and I hope their business improves over all.

Yelp
I have no idea why the ratings for this place seem so low. The vibe here is great. If I could describe this simply, I would call it a modern, Americanized taqueria that is great for people who also like sports bars. This certainly isn't "authentic Mexican" but it is a great Americanized version (not as flavorful in my opinion as real Mexican). The staff are all nice, prompt and seem to really know the menu as they were able to answer all the questions we had. The chips and salsas seem store bought, but good "authentic" store bought versions. It would be nice to have a couple spicier salsa options though... In my opinion, seems great for families, large gatherings, and sporting events! Chicken was a bit bland but the steak is fire and worth the upcharge. Enjoy!!

Yelp
I received the wrong order ( I ordered 3 tacos but received a soggy old burrito) and when I contacted the business, a server named Miguel answered and was very rude and unhelpful. When I asked to speak with a manager he proceeded to hang up on me and declined my call when I tried contacting them again. First time ordering here and definitely the last.

Yelp
Very disappointed in my experience. The pricing is extremely high and the food and drinks do not match the price tag. Ordered guacamole and it was a basically a salad of cilantro (pictured). Asked or it spicy. It lacked spice and flavor. Also ordered the queso. Tasted like Kraft. Ordered a drink off the menu and they ran out of the ingredients but instead of letting me know, replaced with other ingredients. 3 drinks chips guac and queso came out to over $75. I would skip this place and save your money.

Yelp
Visited this spot on a Thursday afternoon for Happy Hour, it starts at noon ( Nice). The place is huge indoor , outdoor. We ordered the original frozen margarita, what a punch!! Delicious. They bring out huge tortillas & four sauces, each one a different temperature, then we added a corn & cheese appetizer & guacamole. Guacamole was a nice size , corn was ok maybe more cheese needed. We then ordered steak tacos from dinner menu to share. Turns out to be mini tacos (3) & small cup of rice & refried beans. Not the portions I expected but sufficient. In any case it's worth another round of frozen margaritas & they should have a Happy hour menu just saying. Overall good experience :)

Yelp
Went to Dania Pointe to watch a movie and saw this cute Taco Spot near the theater, looked good so we decided to give it a try! Food: 7/10 They give you complimentary chips & 4 different dips to try which was nice. For appetizer had the nachos, they were ok however super big portion, can be shared between 2-4 people which I liked! For tacos, I had the steak, chicken and shrimp. The chicken was my fav, very flavorful! We also tried the Asade fries and hands down best thing on the menu, super filling and flavorful. Again, great portions so you can share. Service: 10/10 Our waiter was sweet, she explained the menu and even offered a very recommendations which I loved. The table runner was very attentive constantly clearing the table and offering water. Decor/ Ambiance: 8/10 I'm not the biggest fan of outdoor seating however the way this restaurant is seat up you get a nice view of the Dania Pointe center. We caught a nice breeze and enjoyed being outside. Drinks: 10/10 The passion fruit margarita was amazing. Sweet and fresh, great drink paired with the tacos. Overall, this was a nice taco spot for a quick bite whether your in the area or you want a quick eat before the movies this maybe your new go to taco place!

Yelp
My sister was starving, so we decided to go to CT Cantina & Taqueria, which we would later regret. We arrived around seven pm, and we ordered our drinks (water with no ice) and our plates (a burrito, steak tacos, steak fries and chorizo quesadilla). Our table was clean, and the ambiance was chill which I liked. We got the steak fries about twenty minutes after ordering, and we didn't have any utensils. Everyone else around us did, as their servers immediately gave it to them. The steak fries were overly smothered in sauce, almost to the point where it was all completely white in the center. We had to wait about an hour to get the rest of our plates. The burrito was good, but the chorizo quesadilla and the tacos were terrible. The chorizo quesadilla had a weird, soapy aftertaste. I had to send it back to the kitchen. Meanwhile, the steak tacos were cold. The waitress was apologetic about the long wait and the missing utensils. By the time we finished eating, we were already annoyed by the inconveniences. And another came. When my mother and I went to the bathroom, there was no soap. None of the machines were functioning. Overall, this place deserves two stars.

Yelp
Good service, good food, a very nice place with access to parking, chairs inside and outside the place, the waitresses very attentive. Buen servicio, buena comida, un lugar muy agradable con acceso a parqueadero, sillas adentro y afuera del lugar, las meseras muy atentas.

Yelp
Fast service, outside area with TVs (got to watch the football game), friendly staff. Delicious food! Very nice lively ambiance.

Yelp
DONT ORDER FROM HERE We ordered through postmates and received half our order. The restaurant essentially took our money and knowingly didn't send half of our items. This is called theft. When we called to confront them, they were very aware that items were missing and wanted us to come back the next day to sort it out. The manager was apparently too busy to sort it out by phone. Won't be coming back or recommending this establishment to anyone. You can forget an item but half an order and not a phone call to tell us that we forgot to send several items is called theft.
google avatar

Jacki P.

Yelp
DO NOT GO THERE! I tired to book a reservation for 14 people for my co-worker's going away. Whomever was handling a phone was rude, and continuously hanging up a phone before I completing the reservation request. I called 24 times to finally got to talk to a person again, and they still could not handle the reservation. Do not go there.

Yelp
I have been here a handful of times. The food was alright and the service was pretty slow. Tonight we ordered delivery. I ordered the 5 Street tacos. When I got around to my 4th taco I was chewing and came upon a bite that was not "chewable". I spit out the piece and come to find it was dome sort of material from packaging WITH WRITING ON IT. I'm sorry, but if you aren't paying attention in your kitchen, you can cause harm. What else was in my food that I am not aware of?
google avatar

Kaitlin H.

Yelp
I went there on Taco Tuesday and Happy Hour. What a deal! I had a Mango frozen Margarita and three tacos. The drink was as much as the food and I don't think you can go anywhere around the area and spend less than $20 per person. I really enjoyed the margarita, it wasn't too strong but was not at all weak. One drink in and life was good! It's a very large place so it's great if you are a larger group as well. When it's not busy it feels a little empty but that's more because everyone is better spread out which is good if you don't want to sit too close to other people. I would definitely be going back as it's a great spot in Dania Pointe!
google avatar

Nina T.

Yelp
The seafood valiant was out of this world!!! Unfortunately I am allergic to wheat ( celiac) chicken and beef! Thankfully all mild but I try to not eat the allergies. We ate here for dinner and I ordered the seafood Mocajete with shrimp and salmon it was very very good. So good that I have to go back again today or tomorrow. lol. Salsa and chips authentic and very good, refried beans and rice homemade.
google avatar

Ian J.

Yelp
This place really seems underdeveloped. The mall and exterior are lovely, the space is large and open. The but most everything was below average. The frozen margarita machine was broken. Their house margarita on the rocks quite good, I'd stop here for a drink and have dinner elsewhere. They're out of kids menus. They're out of kids cups. The staff was cordial but not at all enthusiastic. The Al pastor tacos didn't have any memorable flavor. The carne asada fries look nothing like the menu photo and are plated in a sad sort of way In summary, there is a lot of room for improvement.
google avatar

Mauricio E.

Yelp
Nefasto, habia esperado por ir, el restaurante era sucio, la mesa, los asientos, la atención fue rapida, pero fue poco amable y nada explicativa, la comida que fueron tacos, el sabor era malo y era 80% lechuga, no volveria ni gratis
google avatar

Sasha S.

Yelp
I went for happy hour with coworkers. The ambiance is good. The service is ok. We had a hard time getting our servers attention a few times. The drinks were good. Some food was ordered but I asked for vegan options for myself and was told only guacamole and corn were my options so that was truly disappointing.
google avatar

Heidi R.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Tacos and burrito. Service was a little slow, nice and friendly server but slow. Atmosphere was nice.
google avatar

Yelp
I recently took some business colleagues to dinner at CT Cantina & Taqueria, located at Dania Pointe in the heart of Dania Beach. This is not your typical Mexican restaurant. They are serving up great quality Mexican cuisine with style and flair that will have you coming back again and again. They even offer Barbacoa. If you've never had it, you should definitely check it out. They only offer it at select times, so call ahead to see if they offer it when you want to come in. It takes several hours to prepare the barbacoa because it's slow cooked to get the fork tender beef just right. The staff is fantastic and they all work very well together to ensure that you have a great dining experience.
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Friday before a comedy show around 6:30 PM--surprisingly quiet for a prime spot in Dania Pointe. Started with a beer and a house margarita--the margarita was just okay, not the best but not the worst. The mahi ceviche was great, and the chips were amazing! Ordered queso but never got to try it since it never arrived. The place has great potential with its location, but the experience felt a bit underwhelming.
google avatar

Sofia M.

Yelp
Got the smallest portion of shrimp in our ceviche and it was too say. Overall all of the items we had were super overpriced and way too salty to finish Not worth it
google avatar

Lilian A.

Yelp
This place sucks, I honestly don't know why it gets business. It's very large and there's plenty of seating in and outdoor. The service sucks. The waitress told us the wrong info on the spice level for the sauces and I ended up dipping the chip in the spiciest one. When I told her she ignored me and continued taking orders. We had to ask her to bring napkins. Disappeared for long periods of time. The food was nothing special. They probably think that by adding some spice it means that it's good on flavor. It wasn't. The tacos sucked. The ladies bathroom was gross gross gross. My girlfriends were horrified by it, I didn't want to go in because of the description they gave me. I think if there were another Mexican restaurant in the area this place would go out of business.
google avatar

Tish P.

Yelp
Stopped in 9pm Saturday night after a show at the Improv. We tried to order other things but was met with, "we're out" a few times. I'm like damn let me get the barbacoa tacos. FINALLY, he didn't say we're out. Only to come back and say they're out. Man WTF! I settled on specialty mini tacos with shrimp, carnitas. I had street tacos in my brain so when these tiny tacos came to the table, I was again like WTF! The carnitas wasn't that bad but I didn't like how the shrimp was seasoned at all. And they didn't even serve these toy tacos with limes! Service from the waiter was just ok, he was acting slightly irritated at my indecisiveness but really, who's to blame here. The chips and salsa...no complaints
google avatar

Silvia P.

Yelp
Good food Tex-mex with fun ambience and loud music. The service was excellent! We were a big table and the team was good!
google avatar

Meagan G.

Yelp
I'm honestly surprised this place doesn't have a better rating. My friend and I met here for a drink before going to a comedy show tonight across the street. We sat at the bar. Bartender was attentive and the drinks we got (kiwi margarita and skinny margarita) were so good. They have a really great deal on the mini tacos. I had the shrimp tacos and they were so good. Especially with the flour tortilla. The chips and salsa was so good too. We loved it and can't wait to come back. Also, we got our food so fast. We ordered at 7:10 and were done eating, cashed out, and entering the comedy show at 7:30. It's very cute and clean inside. The bar is huge!
google avatar

N T.

Yelp
This may be the best Tex-Mex food I have ever had and I go to them all the time. We were here for work and ended up coming here twice in three days because the service and food was so damn good. We sat at the bar and Jason helped us out each time. The options are awesome, the music is great and everyone was awesome. Lots of vegetarian options for people like me. I can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here right before heading to the movies. Service was a bit off & slow but otherwise welcoming. The margaritas were perfectly made - frozen or over the rocks if you're craving a good marg then I would definitely recommend them! If you want it flavored they do have a variation to choose from = mango, pineapple, passion fruit, etc... As for the food we ordered the queso dip & guacamole. With no cilantro in the guac. The queso dip was tasty but a bit watered down. The guac ended up coming w/the cilantro inside so we had to request for it to be redone. that in itself took about another 20 mins so we couldn't thoroughly enjoy it with the tacos we ordered. We ordered the Pastor, Chicken & Steak. Then ended up requesting a Shrimp. These were pretty good but lacked a bit more ingredients like onions, tomatoes, etc... As a table starter they did bring out their variation of salsa & chips. The chips were fresh & hot so they went fast! The offered salsas were all spicy so it would be nice if they can have one offering that is no spicy for those that cannot handled the heat. Overall I would check them out for their HH offerings - the margaritas were $5 & the dip was also $5. They have a Street Taco special for $8.99 that includes 3 tacos and street rice.
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
I came here for dinner and drinks before an improv show and could not have had a better experience!! The chips they serve are perfect for dipping! The 4 salsa options made my night. The tequila selection rivaled any tequila bar. My only criticism would be that I wished there were more options for me as a pescatarian, however I got the cauliflower bowl and added shrimp and it was delicious. I would come back here anytime.

Yelp
Good service, food, and vibes! Loved they had an outdoor section. We ordered the fries, mini tacos, and a burrito. The barbacoa was excellent- 10/10. The blackberry margarita was also 10/10 The rest of the food was pretty good but barbacoa and steak was worth it all: Good service by Enrique. He was patient and attentive. Will probably return for a chill hangout spot. Perfect for happy hour!

Yelp
Strongest margarita! Ordered a traditional with patron and the bartender must have given me a double :-) was delicious but definitely made with premade margarita mix - tasted like it was from a can. we got the spicy chorizo cheese for an app and it was the best thing we had all night. delicious and slightly spicy. served hot and paired well with their fresh, hot chips. we also got the guacamole which was prepared fresh for you by a woman with a guac cart but it was SO much lime it was basically inedible. It was also very mushy and not in a good way. We got tacos for our meal and they are the perfect size. Small corn soft tortillas. Unfortunately they really lacked flavor. The pork was the best of all. The chicken was overcooked and chewy. The bartender provided great, fast service and was super friendly.

Yelp
5 star food, 5 star ambience, 3 star service. Terrific fresh Mexican food in brand new Dana Pointe open air shopping mall with service that is a little disorganized. 5 star food: very fresh very good Mexican food...especially good on Taco Tuesday. Like my dad always says: it tastes so much better when it's free ( we'll this is a great price for great food, not technically free). 5 star ambience. Inside it's a beautiful soaring double height space with widely spaced tables. There's nice outdoor seating as well. Dana Pointe works well as an open air shopping center (hard to believe a couple of years ago this new neighborhood was an abandoned roller coaster). Parking is a breeze on the street or in a nearby free deck. Dana Pointe itself is a little tough to find entry and exit so use GPS. 3 star service: service had a few kinks, with no one up front, then confusion as far as where / who would seat us. Menus and food arrival also required some direct requests after being ignored for an uncomfortably long time. It's a new-ish location so probably these kinks will work out over time.

Yelp
The food here is good, the drinks are delicious. The service is AWFUL.....and the music was so loud it genuinely gave me anxiety for at least an hour after dining in. Please please please tone the music down and train your servers to 1) refill waters 2) bring appetizer plates 3) bring silverware 4) check the orders before they arrive at the table.

Yelp
Got here at 12pm right when it opened. Service at the bar was slow at first, but when we were finally able to order our coconut margaritas we were not disappointed! Very refreshing and happy hour prices were applicable so they offer very reasonable pricing. Inside bar is a nice vibe and decor adds to the vibe. We ordered cheese dip, esquites and steak/ shrimp tacos. Cheese dip definitely wouldn't order again or Esquites. Tacos were ok. Conclusion is drinks and vibes is good, but if you're a foodie you'll be disappointed. Would definitely be back for those coconut margaritas !

Yelp
Not much flattering to say about this place, to be honest. The chips were thick and greasy (and burnt in spots), the complimentary salsas were imbalanced, two of our three orders were taken incorrectly, my tacos were dry and overcooked, etc. It's a comfortable enough environment, though, and If you want to check it out for yourself, maybe stop by for Taco Tuesday, when the food is priced at the point where you won't really care either way.

Yelp
On a layover, crew & I came here for Taco Tuesday lunch. Seated quickly & waited on exceptionally quick by Enrique. Was able to get a table outdoors. The food took quite a while to be brought out and the place did not look too busy at all. I ordered the mango frozen margarita, delicious! They were out of barbacoa tacos. Food was tasty.
