"Merengue, Mojitos, and Mariquitas at Cuba Libre Following a Cuban meal—such as malango fritters and churrasco a la Cubano—and a few glasses of the house specialty—flavored mojitos—things heat up and Latin rhythms take hold as couples step onto the dance floor. As inviting for couples out on a date as it is to groups of friends on a night out, Saturday nights at Cuba Libre feature salsa dancers, singers, and DJs spinning bachata, merengue, and Latin house."

I visited this Orlando location in June and was pleasantly surprised. For a franchise, it is pretty good. The food was fresh and tasty, and the portions were plentiful. I went there for a late brunch and the place was not very busy, so we got plenty of attention from our server. All in all, a very good experience.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Orlando. My wife is Cuban-American and I am from Miami, so we are somewhat picky when it comes to Cuban food, but Cuba Libre never disappoints. The atmosphere looks like it could be in a Havana club in the 1950s. Beautiful murals, fanciful ceiling fans, interesting facades all make the room interesting and inviting. If I had one compli about the atmosphere, it can get somewhat loud when the place is crowded. The service is always excellent and you can tell the staff has been well trained and actually enjoy what they do. This time we shared the Cuban bread with guava butter, it was delicious and hard not to order more after the initial basket. My wife ordered the lechon asado, which was tender and juicy. It came with perfectly seasoned black beans, really well prepared white rice, and maduros (sweet plantains). She was in heaven. I ordered the Cuban sandwich combo, which came with a delicious Cuban sandwich, black beans, a salad, and plantain chips. If I had one complaint about my order, the sandwhich could have been served a little hotter, as the Swiss cheese had already lost its meltiness. It was still really good, but could have been better.

Google
Great experience! All service from our reservation, hostess, to our server were excellent! Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Entrees, cocktails, and coffee were so delicious. Portions for the price were a little smaller than anticipated and desserts were not quite as flavorful as expected compared to the entrees. Ambiance was amazing. It can be quite loud so conversation during dinner will be minimal unless you are full on yelling but the music definitely added a special touch to the experience. Overall happy with the experience!

We came on a Monday night on a reservation. We didn’t need the res, but always have one if you can. Decor was really cool. I felt like I was in Havana. I ordered the ropa vieja, it was seasoned perfectly. The mango butter for the free bread was also amazing. Service was great, as was my drink. I will definitely go back.

My friend and I had an amazing time at Cuba Libre in Orlando! We got there a bit late—around midnight—but the energy was still going strong. The last two hours we spent there were full of great music, dancing, and fun vibes. The atmosphere was electric, and the staff was super friendly. Even though it was late, everything felt alive and welcoming. Definitely a great spot if you're looking to enjoy the nightlife with a taste of Cuban flair. Highly recommend!

We had a party of 20 for a birthday celebration. The idea was to celebrate by having dinner then joining the night club for the rest of the evening. It was my first time visiting, and the food is ok. The service is good, but our server had an attitude, and the birthday dessert came out while the birthday girl was in the bathroom. The drinks are good. We stayed for the party, got a couple VIP tables and danced the rest of the night. That was fun. Overall, we had a good time.

THIS PLACE IS EVERYTHING!!! Seen it on tiktok & I had to try it. They have a 4 course meal for $50 to celebrate their 25 anniversary. And when I tell you its a great deal!!! So much food for your money. The service was great. Our waiter Qui Qui was so nice. The food was unbelievably delicious! Make you want to kiss the chef. Go, go, go!!!

Yelp
Food is delicious. Everyone is very friendly. The atmosphere is amazing. You feel like you are sitting at an outdoor cafe in Havana. One of my favorite places to eat when I visit the Point in Orlando

Yelp
I rarely write reviews any more and I only do so when I have a five star experience. Much to my surprise that happened tonight at Cuba Libre & Rum in Orlando. I sat at the bar, and given the name I was hopeful I would find my favorite rum (which I never ever do). Happily, they had a boisterous rum menu including Mount Gay XO which is my clear favorite rum. Just so smooth and tasty, I was delighted. Then my bartender/server Mitch said "I'm ordering you the bread" which I had not asked him to do. Thank goodness he did. The bread is three slices of a brioche-type loaf sliced medium thick and then toasted crisp on the flat top. It's served with a compound cinnamon butter, and the effect after slavering the butter on is like a savory cinnamon french toast. It's just awesome and totally unique. For my meal I ordered the Vaca Frita (Braised brisket shredded then seared, roasted onions, citrus-garlic sauce, white rice, black beans). I have never seen this on any menu before, but think of it as sort of like Ropa Vieja but seared on the flat top giving it a yummy crust. And the citrus in the sauce just adds the nicest tang. My definition of a 5-star rating is something I can't get anywhere else, and all three items I ordered were things I have never had or can't seem to find anywhere else (Mount Gay XO). And Mitch was great, very friendly and thank you so much for taking the initiative to order the bread. In fact, I only have one complaint. Cuba Libre sells many super premium rums and whiskeys. If you are going to serve those premium names, you HAVE to have the large ice cube. It is a must. I was able to enjoy my rum neat and savor it throughout the meal, but if I had the large cube I probably would have had two!

Yelp
If this restaurant were in competition with Gloria Stefano restaurant, this place would easily take first place! As a big fan of Cuban cuisine, I was excited to try it, and it did not disappoint. The host was welcoming and seated us promptly, even as the ground floor was being prepped to transform into a dance club. We were directed upstairs, and the ambiance was stunning--it felt like stepping into a charming alleyway of a Cuban restaurant in Havana. Our waiter greeted us right away, which is always a great start. We began with drinks (margaritas and mojitos) and appetizers (garlic shrimp and beef empanadas). The appetizers were fantastic--flavorful and well-executed. The garlic shrimp had a tangy lemon kick and crunchy garlic that elevated the dish. The beef empanadas were equally impressive, even without the provided sauce. The drinks, however, were a bit of a letdown. The mojito lacked the signature sugarcane garnish and tasted more like a generic minty spirit drink. It missed the mark for me, which was disappointing. For our entrées, we ordered the Pollo Asado and Churrasco, and both were outstanding. The Churrasco was cooked perfectly and served with creamy mashed potatoes and arugula, which provided a nice balance to the dish's richness. The Pollo Asado was equally flavorful, with tender chicken paired with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Despite the mojito falling short, the delicious food and great service make this a spot we'll definitely return to--and highly recommend to others.

Yelp
The food was very high quality and was of excellent presentation. The server, Armani, was terrific. She explained and recond from the menu. She was spot-on The restaurant turned into a Latin nightclub with great live music If you are in Orlando, I highly recommended

Yelp
We had our office Christmas party here and had an amazing experience. Getting information, recommendations, and booking was super easy. Alan helped us select a dining room and menu. We were welcomed and shown to our event space. There was 2-3 servers checking on us and they did a great job. Ashley in particular was fantastic! The restaurant is gorgeous! I was very impressed by the ambiance and table settings. Our event room was clean, well decorated, and comfortable. The food was awesome. For appetizers, we enjoyed empanadas, shrimp cocktail, and guacamole with plantain chips. The empanadas were truly impressive! The filling was so rich and the pop of green olives was lovely. The shrimp and guac were fresh and delicious. For my entree, I got the ropa vieja, which was super tender and savory. It came with buttery white rice. For dessert, we enjoyed flan which was served with a soft cookie and dulce de leche. It was so decadent! For drinks, we enjoyed sangria, mojito, rum, and a few shots. All were good. Overall, I am very impressed with Cuba Libre. It is beautiful, has great food and service, and does events expertly!

Yelp
Aguilar, our server was good. It was busy on Friday. After we got the mail. It would've been nice if he could've checked on us a little bit more. I wanted to stay downstairs and listen to the band. After 830 they shut the first floor down to open up the space for the dance floor so people can dance. The interior felt like I was in little Havana. It was also nice to witness a proposal that happened at the restaurant.

Yelp
I LOVED THIS PLACE! The service was quick when it came to the food and drinks at the bar. The food was amazing ! On our table was the Ropa Vieja and the Churrasco A La Cubana. It was cooked perfectly and it was very yummy! Definitely felt full after my meal. After a certain time the restaurant turns into a little night club and they have live music. The band was playing salsa, bachata, merengue and it was nice if you like to dance and listen to this type of music! If you need a break from dancing and the music because it will get hot in here there is outdoor seating! Cute for families and date nights! I can't wait for the next time I'm able to come back here!

Yelp
This is such a welcoming restaurant. The food is top notch and I loved the variety. It was a quite restaurant with great Cuban decor. I am going back tomorrow and bringing friends. That should tell you all you need to know about my experience. Yummy.

Yelp
I celebrated my birthday at Cuba Libre with my family, and we had the best time. There were 11 of us, and the place had such a fun, lively vibe. The service was awesome friendly and super attentive. The food was delicious! I had the croquetas, which were crispy and tasty. The vaca frita was perfectly seasoned and had a great crunch, and the ropa vieja was so flavorful and tender. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend Cuba Libre for a special occasion or just a great meal!

Yelp
Very great service from the greeters and the server as well. The food is very good, and the decor is very to par as it hits the details on the head, and really feels like Cuba. I am giving this place 4 stars because the the place is very loud for a dinner setting ( do take into account it is more of a club feel during dinner) because of this, the service does take a while due to the crowd. We did have reservations but waited about 25-30 extra minutes due to seating arrangement issues. Once seated Our specialty drinks alone took about 15 minutes before arriving to the table, the food was delicious but did take over 30-40 minutes to arrive to the table. Besides this we had fun and would return possibly during Brunch hours.

Yelp
If you've been to any other Cuba Libre, this is exactly what you'd expect. They have the same setup and the same menu, what stood out most was the cleanliness of this location. You could tell they take pride here, food and drinks came out with great presentation and service was very welcoming.

Yelp
Spent our first night in town celebrating Father's Day and a 30th Birthday with friends and family from all over the US. Our experience here started off strong when we walked in and saw how fun and busy it was. Our waitress had so much energy and was helpful and knowledgeable with the menu. We ordered a round of drinks and then our food. Food took over an hour and a half to come out and we were all starving. Our reservation time was at 7:00pm and our food came out at 8:30pm. No complimentary bread and butter (as it clearly states on the menu 'first round on us' or a warning. We had to wait for our waitress to come by and ask her what the hold up was. All of the appetizers and main entrees came out at once but was still missing 2 appetizers. The food was good but not worth the wait. The mojitos barely had any rum in it. Our water cups were never refilled. I had to ask for a refill but she came with our bill first. All of the tables around us had a special surprise for Father's Day and birthdays but we got nothing. We saw a table behind us get 3 of their parking garage tickets validated so we asked our waitress if we could get our 1 garage ticket validated and she said yes, of course. 10 min have gone by and a man in a tan suit came by and told us no, we cannot do that. Over $800 later, we left this restaurant with a bad taste in our mouth and will not be returning.

Yelp
If you're looking for authentic Cuban food. This is not the place. The ropa vieja was mediocre at best and Luke warm when it came out. Plus the waiter touted twice how he was giving us the bread free when it always comes free. He just wanted to jack up the tip, which is really poor customer service and misleading. I did 20% but that should have been 15 at best. So why the 2stars? I would have given the. 2.5 but since the rest of the meal was mixed i went down. Skirt steak was nicely done and large, the paella was ok. Drinks are crazy expensive as are the prices. I mean $31 for mediocre ropa and $15 mojitos?? Plus the mojitos were weak and the bartender didn't properly muddle the mint, so wasted the lovely mint in the drink. nope. For this price I expect way better. Knock prices down %35 and i would be more forgiving. Basically you're paying for the Disneyfication of cuba (you feel like you're at the Epcot cuba experience). Honestly the more I think about it, go support a small local restaurant, you'll get better Cuban food and support the locals more efficiently. If you want fancy food why bother with this place? Go to a fancy restaurant that serves continental cuisine, or just tell people it's Cuban inspired food and drop your prices.

Yelp
This is my last, but not least, review from our 10 day trip to Central Florida. My son and DIL had eaten here once before, on a previous trip, and highly recommended it. Upon entering we were excited by the grandiose decor and the size of the place. We were escorted upstairs and provided a table, as well as a great waiter named "Bryan" I believe (it was very loud in the restaurant with music and hoopla coming from the first floor) who indicated he was of Cuban decent. After scouring the menu my wife and I opted to order the CUBAN PORK FEAST (Served on a Terracotta Pig Grill), which included Cctrus marinated, slow roasted pork shoulder, onion-caper mojo, guava BBQ baby back pork ribs, and Chino-Cubano glazed grilled pork belly. This selection came with white rice, black beans and maduros on the side. The waiter stated it was a great choice and he was correct. When that Terracotta Pig Grill was presented at our table our saliva started pouring, and rightfully so. All of the meats were tender and well seasoned! The sides were tasty and well made. We had so much pork shoulder left over we took the remainder back to our resort and mixed in with some eggs the next day. I had two beers and the wife had their Creamsicle Mojito. I don't recall what the son and DIL ate, or the two wee ones with us, but they all seemed to enjoy their meals and the overall good time. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, even while doing a balancing act with several other tables. I usually am irritated with these "large group" 20% service/gratuity charges automatically added to the bill, but he earned it; and then some (which he received). As we left we watched some of the musicians and dancers for a bit. What a great place! One of our best nights out to say the least.

Yelp
Came here with my work folks for a team dinner. There were about 13 of us. The restaurant accommodated our reservation for a large group and seated us promptly. My team enjoyed the drinks and the food. We ordered a little bit of everything from the meatballs and crab guacamole appetizers along with the delicious wings, empanadas, yucca fries and shrimp. All were great. For our main course, me and a team mate shared the Cuban pork feast. It seemed to be more bang for our buck since each meal was about $30 and this was $74 for a lot more food. It was served on a Terracotta Pig Grill. Citrus marinated, slow roasted pork shoulder, onion-caper mojo, guava BBQ baby back pork ribs, Chino-Cubano glazed grilled pork belly. Served with white rice, black beans, and maduros. Everything was tasty. It was a lot of food and I had tons of leftovers for the next day. The service was quick and friendly which is hard with such a large group. My whole team was very happy with their food and experience.

Yelp
Went here on a Sunday for brunch with family and place was fairly empty so we got served quickly. Food was delicious and filling for the portion I got and the cocktail was sweet. Would come back here for their night life :)

Yelp
Food is very good, nightlife is always a blast! I've gone many times with friends and family to dance the night away. Always a good mix of music.

Yelp
Came here on Mother's Day with the expectation they had live entertainment but unfortunately it is only available Fridays and Saturdays. We were seated promptly, our server was very pleasant. We ordered the chicken empanadas and the garlic shrimp which was pretty good. You get a serving of their Cuban pressed bread with mango butter, it was really good. For entrees we ordered chicken and salmon offerings, both were really good.

Yelp
Myself and my party of 5 had made a reservation here for brunch. At the time of the reservation, we requested 2 Mojito pitchers under the impression that it was apart of the bottomless deal stated on their website ($22 pp) We ordered a few appetizers for the table, the Croquetas were definitely the table's favorite. I ordered the Ropa Vieja hash which has sweet plantains, shredded skirt steak, peppers & onions with an egg on top. The dish was well seasoned but by the time it got to the table, it was cold. I'm not the type to complain or send something back to the kitchen so instead I took a few bites and asked for a to go box to later heat up. There was a big misunderstanding when the check came and they were trying to charge us full price ($60) per pitcher! I think that's a ridiculous amount to charge for a pitcher as it wasn't that big and if it was bottomless, they should have brought us more pitchers to get our money's worth. Our server was overall very patient and understanding, but there needs to be more communication when it comes to what "bottomless" means to them. I hope to return, but probably not for Brunch again.

Yelp
We had a party of 28 and they accommodated us greatly. We are so appreciative of the timely and friendly service. They do not play about ID's so don't even try it here, we didn't have an issue with that since we are all of age but it was a slight inconvenience to the party. I understand it's their job though so I am not too pressed about it! Loved the food and we had a great time.

Yelp
This has been by far my favorite restaurant to celebrate! I reserved a table to celebrate my friends 30th birthday and I'm so over the top amazed of the service that was delivered today. Bryan, our server, created such a great environment for us to enjoy each others company and delicious food. He recommended for the table a trio dip w chips and croquetas, and the complementary bread they bring was so delicious as well. The mango butter was something I have never tasted before, so rich in flavor. For my entree I went with the classic arroz con pollo, and I love the presentation. The plate hit all the check marks of what's needed in a Cuban cuisine. Bryan made today a very special moment not only for my friends birthday, but for all of us. We're all very happy with the our dining experience. Thank you so much Bryan for the hospitality and overall great service.

Yelp
An amazing surprise! Beyond tasty food! Vast menu with great and creative options Sammy was our server and she was spectacular! We had the pollo assado and ropa vieja, omg!!! Sooooo delicious and fresh The appetizer with plantain chips, guacamole, humus and salsa was fabulous! They serve a courtesy bread and it was so good too! I saw so many pretty dishes passing by... everything looked amazing!! Im definitely going back!

Yelp
First time visitor and had such a blast during their one hour HH (5-6pm). Steven took care of us and his Passion Fruit Mojito was FIRE! The empanadas and croquettas were so delicious. Such a shame that we didn't Uber here. I guess there's always tomorrow.

Yelp
THE DECOR HERE IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. Upstairs has a lot of Cuban style buildings with lots of colors. It was a marvel to look at in a restaurant. We came on a Saturday night for dinner then dancing. There is a cover, but if you dine in, you don't have to pay for cover. So let's talk about dinner first. Our waiter was fantastic and extremely attentive to the needs of our table. The food here is extremely expensive for the portions that they give. I grew up in Miami so I'm used to having really authentic Cuban food with larger portions for cheaper than this. You are definitely paying for the location (I-drive/ tourist area) and the decor. My boyfriend and I split the Plato Cha Cha Cha appetizer sampler for 2 as well as an extra order of yuca fries. The yuca fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil (they kind of had a metallic taste to them). But the dipping sauce for them was great! Everything on the Plato Cha Cha Cha was delicious. I wish it came with more of the plantain chips though. My other friend got a vaca frita (not pictured) and she was still hungry after that. But she did say it was yummy.. just not worth $31 for the portion size that was given. The night life is exactly what you would expect it to be. Lots of Hispanic music.. a mix of reggaeton, bachata, salsa, etc. with some modern music. The dance floor was packed and very lively!! Overall, I'd come back for dancing but I don't think I'd come back for dinner due to how pricey it is. But again, this is in a tourist area so if you are in the area for vacation, I would def recommend going for an appetizer and to enjoy the decor :)
google avatar

Asif T.

Yelp
This place is so well decorated and designed that you feel like you're actually in Cuba. The food tastes delicious, but man is it pricey for what you are getting. I would recommend the place as change of scenery from the usual type. The Steak I got was good and I did enjoy it.

Markar M.

Yelp
Food, service, the ambience and the live band. I love culture and history it was the right place to dine with the enjoyable people accompanying.

Yelp
Visited here with a group while in Orlando for a conference. It's close to the convention center and in an area with a lot of other restaurants and entertainment spots. We had reservations and were seated soon after we checked in. For many of us, it was the 1st time at a Cuban restaurant, so we were excited to try many of the items on the menu. I had the skirt steak with mashed potatoes. It comes with mixed greens, but I got it without it. The steak was seasoned well and tender. The mashed potatoes were excellent. The table ordered a variety of dishes, and everyone in the group enjoyed their food. Their cocktails were excellent as well.

Yelp
Service and food were amazing!! Nicely decorated. Good music playing very comfortable all around great experience!

Yelp
Delicious food! We opted for the seafood paella and a pork dish (unsure what we ordered exactly), both came out to be delicious. We came for a dinner while on vacation and enjoyed every bit of it. Their mango butter bread is SO good. We ordered even more after we got our entrees. Unfortunately that barely left any space in our tummies for the food. But, we had amazing leftovers the next day. Very fast and nice servers. Would definitely come back if we visited again.

Yelp
I recently dined at Ciba Libre for a company dinner, and regrettably, my experience fell far short of expectations. Firstly, the drinks were a major letdown. I ordered both a plum caipirinha and a margarita, only to find that they were not filled to the top and tasted subpar. The plum caipirinha lacked any discernible flavor, while the margarita was equally disappointing. It's disheartening to pay for drinks that not only fall short in quantity but also lack quality in taste. Moving on to the food, the disappointment continued. We ordered the guacamole, which boasted crab but failed to deliver on flavor. It was bland and lacked any semblance of the promised crab. Additionally, the Cuban sandwich I ordered arrived burnt, further adding to the dismay of the meal. Despite the hefty price tag of $100 for food and drinks, the lack of taste in both aspects made it feel like a complete waste. While the decor and ambiance of Ciba Libre are indeed pleasant, it's disheartening when the integrity of the food fails to match up. Moreover, the service left much to be desired. I found myself having to repeatedly ask for basic necessities like salt, plates, and cutlery, which only added to the frustration of the overall experience. In conclusion, my visit to Ciba Libre left me deeply disappointed, and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to others. With poorly made drinks, tasteless food, and mediocre service, it's safe to say that I won't be returning anytime soon.

Yelp
Came to Cuba Libre while in Orlando for work. The food was exceptional, the service was attentive and wonderful, and the vibe is on point! We loved it so much we came two nights in a row!
google avatar

Randy R.

Yelp
Lets start with the vibe...being from Miami definitely has tht Carribean feel, aesthetically on point...went in a group of 4 and the live band had us dancing all night... Our server was super friendly and on point!. Prices are arguably over priced Drinks...meh. Mojito should be your best drink here and it fell way short. Appetizers were pretty good all around. Entrees we got the gaucho mixto plate that brought chicken, churrasco, shrimp, sausage and lobster and it was deeeeeeelicious!!!! The steak could be cut with our forks!!! Presentation was also on point. For my Coke heads, this is a Coke establishment so we are definitely coming back. Recommend going early to avoid cover charge at the door.

Yelp
I came here for my first and only time for a bachelorette party, and was pretty disappointed in the experience. While the food itself was delicious, and it's a fun atmosphere, everything is extremely overpriced and the portions are pretty small. Yes, it's in the tourist area, so I give them a grain of salt, but I was not a tourist and was embarrassing to see this type of service in Orlando... Our server must have assumed we were all drunk or confused. (Mind you, first drinks of the night here - we were far from a sloshed bach bash at this point.) We were upcharged for everything, and drinks kept being brought out that we didn't order. The server would ask if we wanted a refill and we'd say no, and he would bring it out anyways. A few of the girls ordered spicy margaritas and were uncharged for the spice and the jalapeños. Other ladies ordered wine and then were brought different drinks that we did not order but "encouraged" to take anyways because we're partying (yay for $20 margaritas we didn't want!) Overall, it was a mess and we felt like the server was trying to take advantage of us being a group of women on a bachelorette. Not a good look for this place.

Yelp
Food was delicious, and the venue was beautifully decorated. We ordered the big appetizer platter and got to try a lot of very delicious different meats. The Pollo Asado was amazing. Service was kind of slow, but we were not in a rush and they were very busy.

Yelp
My only complain about this place was how long the service took, but it was a Saturday night and closer to when the entertainment here starts. Arrived with a group of like 10+ to celebrate a birthday! Ordered the Plato cha cha cha to share with my significant other and honestly I would've been good with this all night because this appetizer was packed! So many delicious bites to pick from like the chorizo, the pineapple guac, the croquetas... there honestly wasn't a thing on this plate I didn't enjoy! Not knowing how filling the appetizer would be, I ordered the ropa vieja with a side of yuca fries and I wasn't even upset. The ropa vieja was delicious, juicy, and just what I was expecting when I ordered it! I paired everything up with a yummy passion fruit margarita which didn't disappoint. I love the vibe once they started playing music on the main floor; although I didn't stay long to experience it. Definitely recommend for a larger party. Price wise I think it's a bit on the pricier for Cuban food, but that's coming from a Miami native!

Lorenzo S.

Yelp
Please dont waste your money and your time in that place, is not cuban food and the food there is really bad. Really disappointed.

Yelp
Decor, atmosphere and feel of the place set the tone for the night and makes me feel like I was sent straight to Cuba. Our waitress Sammy was delightful and kept the tone of the evening where I felt extremely relaxed. Normally I despise sitting a restaurant with a bunch of people. It always makes it seem like each person talks louder in a need to talk over one another. This was not the case here, even though the place is very open. Instead they used the decor and structures to keep it to a gentle roar at most. It was easy to still hear one another at the table of 4. Now to get on to what we all need to know about, the food was amazing. We ordered one of there large platters with steak, chicken, shrimp, sausage and lobster. While the lobster seemed out of place on the platter or at least it would be if you are looking for 100% authenticity. In the same breath I should tell you it was amazing and I suggest eating the lobster and shrimp first so it does not overcook on the hot skillet it is served on. The beans & rice pared very well with everything. The bread with the cinnamon butter to spread on it made a nice break to separate the bites of flavor. I really cannot recommend a better place it is well worth the cost to feel like you a flown to Havana and treated like a king!!!

Yelp
For the kind of place that promotes Cuban food so much, not even the congri was close to traditional, very high prices and the meats have no flavor, the waiters are lost, they don't even know what Cuban food is. They should lower the prices because none of them give value to the food. Music so loud that you can't even talk.

Yelp
The staff and service are amazing. Great vibes. Cute place. I was disappointed in the price of the food for how little the portions were. My husband's dinner was supposed to have shrimp and scallops. They were hard to find and very small. It seems overpriced. Also, we were made to feel bad for asking for separate checks. We had a big party. But the server made it happen, and he did let us know the 20% tip was added then asked for more if we felt.

Yelp
I've been to several different Cuba Libre and they're all great. The food and service is always consistent and great. Their Arroz Con Pollo is one of my favorites. The Ropa Veja is great too. They make some of the best Tostones. They're nice and crisp.

Yelp
This restaurant was by far and away our favorite in the two weeks we were in Orlando. The service was beyond exceptional. Our server was extremely attentive and the manager even came over twice to check on us. The drinks were delicious. We tried 3 different mojitos. The food, just wow. Only my second experience eating Cuban cuisine...I need this more often. Making reservations was a good move, the restaurant filled quickly. Oh, the live music was so fun! I truly wish I could give Cuba Libre more stars. I can not wait to come back!!!

Yelp
Food was really great! It did take a long time to get food and drinks after they were ordered, but it was worth the wait. Service was great, and restaurant had a great theme! Bathrooms were not very clean, which was really unfortunate. Valet parking is available

Yelp
So Cuba Libre is a great spot to dance, listen to music and try some of their authentic Latin food. I think the biggest thing I liked about them is they were able to accommodate a party of 12 within days. Usually places get packed or don't allow any parties past 8, but they came in at the right time. We originally came out to celebrate a birthday and it was well worth it. Service was great, but given it was busy, was a bit on the slower side, but regardless we were able to get things situated fairly quick. We ordered a couple great menu items such as Plato Cha cha cha and Ropa Vieja. Great choices with a selection of chorizo, steak, chicken, and yuca fries. All greatly seasoned and grilled/cooked to our perfection. Paired it off with paradise rum punch which was delicious. I think another great part is the 1st floor transforms into a lounge/club so after you drink you can get your groove on with some drinks and a live DJ! Just for reference this location is within pointe Orlando and they offer parking in the garage nearby or valet parking as well. Parking is about $10 for the night, but with the validation from the restaurant you can get it for $8. If you're in the area, come check it out! Definitely a vibe and worth the reservation and visit.

Yelp
Not a lot of Cuban restaurants in CA so since this is the closest I've ever physically been to Cuba, I had to try it. I had a great time! The decor is fabulous: feeling like being in a Cuban courtyard instead of a Florida restaurant was fun, and the music was lively. I wanted to try more than one flavor of Cuba and the Tostones de Yuca trio hit the spot: yucca fritters topped with beef, pork, and shrimp. All delicious so I'm glad I didn't have to choose. And all of them go great with a mojito... Although everyone working there was super nice, I have to give a special shout out to my server Chelsea who was wonderful! I was by myself and she really made me feel welcome and looked after, even though I could see she was bustling taking care of some larger groups. She was super sweet and helped me choose my order and checked on me regularly without making me feel rushed. I'm really happy I got one of her tables!
