Cubanos ATL Opens in Roswell, Georgia, for Cuban Sandwiches, Charcuterie, and a Full Bar Serving Daiquiris and Mojitos - Eater Atlanta

"Cubanos ATL is a full-service Cuban restaurant and bar offering an expanded menu of traditional Cuban sandwiches, breakfast items, charcuterie boards, and desserts. The bar serves cocktails, beer, and wine. The venue features seating for around 60 people, including a dining room, small bar, and sunny patio. A retail section offers wines and spirits. This location continues the expansion plans of owner Ozzy Llanes, who opened the first Cubanos ATL during the pandemic." - Beth McKibben

Nice sandwich shop in the downtown Roswell area. Stopped in for lunch and tried the Miami cubano and chicken empanadas. The empanadas had a nice crispy pastry and the chicken filling was very good, but the amount of filling is skimpy for the pastry. I was eating mostly pastry, and it was a bit greasy. Sandwich was excellent, everything tasted fresh, generous portion, I would try more sandwiches. The staff is mostly in the back, you have to ring a bell to get them out front. Pretty quick service once you order. Ate there and ended up smelling like greese the rest of the day, so I'll get it to go next time.

There was one near us in Cumming, GA that I loved, but they closed out of no where. We decided to drive to this location since we miss the other. I was scared that they also could have closed, so I tried to call, but there was a strange message saying no one is taking calls…not a voicemail, it was as if there was no service. We tried anyway, and they are in fact open, but she may run it by herself. The sandwich I wanted wasn’t available because she didn’t have the bread needed, so I tried “The Tampa” I don’t like Swiss cheese, but I think that’s the only cheese they have. It was stuffed with roast pork, but I guess I’m not a fan of the pork. The Cuban bread is amazing! My son got “Pollo Especial” and she told him it was the last one of the day (it was about 1:45 and they close at 10). He said it was excellent. He also got a virgin Pina colada and said it was very good. Overall, it’s not worth coming back for me, but my son really enjoyed it.

Excellent food and super nice people! My wife recommended this place after she had lunch with a friend so I stopped by for a Cuban sandwich to go for dinner. From the time stepped in the door I was made to feel welcome. Before I left I was invited to take salsa lessons and practice Spanish. 😃 I’m not sure what a “real Cuban” sandwich is supposed to taste like because I’ve never been to Cuba, but wow this was really good. The bread was fresh and combo of ingredients was just perfect. They didn’t even give me a hard time about not getting pickles. I will definitely be back to try other things - without pickles of course.

While in the area picking up a race packet, I wanted to eat Cuban. Greeted immediately as soon as I entered. The lovely lady assisted me and we had a friendly conversation. She did not rush me at all and was very pleasant. Food is good and I love seeing Cuban people working and cooking there! For me that means it has true authentic taste. Will come back when in the area. Only complaint is that they did not have a shirt in my size (medium) to buy, more reason to come back. Definitely eat here when you get the chance.

Deliciosos Cuban Sandwiches! Amazing flavors, the meat so juicy, and cheesy. If you like pickles you will love it!!! Best sandwiches I’ve ever tried. Natural flavor juices are so refreshing. Customer service TOP! Love this place. :) You feel like you are in Cuba

When it comes to the Cuban sandwich experience ‘Cubanos ATL’ has been my favorite in our state since the first tiny house was opened in Sandy Springs. Having seen the growth of Ozzy Llanes & his team’s concept has been fun to watch. The Roswell location features great parking, inside and outside seating, an extended great menu, alcoholic beverages, fresh juices and a great atmosphere for lunch and dinner alike. Lia helped me out today and from the welcome smile, going through options to order and our conversation until my food arrived promptly - a true delight of a visit. The Cuban sandwich looked perfect and tasted even better than it looked. A flavor bomb - just amazing. The team between counter and kitchen works in great harmony (more smiles back there) and all happens seamless. I can only recommend you stop by and if you are early enough, try some of the amazing pastelitos on the menu. Often sold out even though they make more and more to sell week every week. Last, I want to comment on the great coffee menu and the taste of my favorite ‘cafe con leche’. Finally if you have any need for dessert, the tres leches is incredible. Hot or iced, at a true Cuban flavor level and made with love, clearly. Thanks again to Lia & team for great service + food today.

A fantastic Cuban sandwich, and I have eaten authentic all over south Florida. Darn good mojotis, too! Ozzy, the owners, is very engaging with customers. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is new. It has up to date decor and super clean. Very pleasant when you walk in. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered a media noche and a café con leche. Both delicious. You order at the counter, find a seat, enjoy your time, and the food is served warm and tasty. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back. I want to try some of their other items on the menu. Maybe even some dessert too.
