Cubitts Soho

Terrible experience from start to finish. I bought glasses from Cubitts in January 2024 which worked fine. When I went back in 2025 wanting something very similar, the process completely fell apart. I was bounced between the Soho and Coal Drops Yard stores, had an eye test in August followed by retests in November and January, and each time the prescriptions changed significantly. I was repeatedly sold lenses that went against what I explicitly said I wanted, and the results were dizziness, blurred vision, and glasses I couldn’t use. After months of emails, store visits, and time off work, refunds were eventually agreed. However, my original 2024 frames had been sent in for re-lensing and when I cancelled the order, they were returned to me with one lens missing and a broken hinge. These were perfectly serviceable glasses when I handed them over. Cubitts have now left me with a broken pair of frames and still haven’t resolved or refunded that. For comparison, I went to Boots Opticians in Camden. One visit. A thorough eye test. The optometrist actually listened, explained my prescription properly, and gave me lenses that work for my eyes. The glasses were cheaper than Cubitts, the frames and lenses are better quality, and the whole experience was professional and straightforward. Cubitts wasted months of my time, mishandled my property, and failed to deliver even a basic outcome. Go elsewhere.

Outstanding customer service and incredibly friendly staff! I had ordered new glasses but couldn’t see properly because a high street competitor had made an error with my prescription. The team at Cubitts kindly re-tested my eyes and completely re-made my glasses at no extra cost. Their generosity and professionalism really made my day. I now know exactly where I’ll be buying all my glasses in the future. The staff at this store are truly amazing! Thank you!

I just want to say thank you to Ellie for what was the best customer service experience I can remember having. Not only dealt patiently with my many questions, but recommended a style that I’m very happy with and modified the glasses for a perfect fit. I don’t usually walk into a shop and decide to purchase something as dear straight away but the knowledge and quality of her guidance was compelling. A real credit to your brand. Thank you so much!

I popped into this branch to get a feel for glasses and was met with the best service. I didn't purchase anything but the two ladies working answered all my questions and the taller lady even went down multiple times to get different frames for me. Thank you so much! Amazing service! My glasses suddenly broke, and I stumbled upon this shop. The staff was incredibly helpful and repaired them at no charge! I highly recommend this place! Thank you so much :)

I booked a long overdue eye test at cubitts soho. I was greeted by Chel, who was extremely welcoming. She showed me the collection at cubitts including the bespoke options and explained what would suit my face and style. Before I had even had my eye exam I had picked out my favourite frames which are they best I’ve found for such a good price! Highly reccomend going to see Chel! I then had my eye exam with Jaz who was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The exam was thorough and didn’t take too long and Jaz explained everything I needed to know. Again I couldn’t recommend Jaz more. Great job Cubitts Soho, wouldn’t go anywhere else now!

Excellent service and honest feedback on style of frames to fit my face, unlike the store in Borough Market which although good , cared less if it was the prefect frames for me; l felt like l was being a bit of a bother. So, my genuine opinion, go to Brough Market for eye test but if you need frames as well, highly recommend Soho store. Great service all-round!

I had a fantastic experience at the Soho branch of Cubitts today. I arrived for an eye exam and was greeted immediately by a super friendly optician that checked me in, I went downstairs and was almost immediately taken through for my exam. The Optometrist was very personable while being efficient & professional, explaining the results and offering many chances to ask questions. Once finished I was guided upstairs and greeted by another optician that could not have been more helpful. I usually rush things without too much thought but the optician helped me pick out glasses that suited me and ensured I tried multiple colours & styles to ensure I was happy. Really great experience & could not be happier with the result!
