"I enjoyed seeing items like wine-vinegars from Cucina become widely available, part of a larger trend of restaurants and shops offering high-quality pantry products." - Valerie Silva

Google
Cucina is such a hidden gem. I wish more people in Vail new about Cucina! The space is huge, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is incredibly fast and friendly—especially Salvatore and Tyler. Even with our big event, they were quick, patient, kind, and super attentive. Their customer service really stood out, and I’ll definitely be coming back. The burger was delicious, and I can’t wait to try their breakfast menu next time!

Google
We've eaten here two years in a row now with four kids and had a great experience both times. Easy to get a table, especially for a bigger group. Live music is great and so fun. Service is really good! Our server, salvatore, was fantastic and so kind.

Google
It was amazing, the bar tender made me crazy good sower ginger drink, that was amazing, his name is Salvatori, and I just loved his work

Google
Cucina offers delicious food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu has something for everyone, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. I highly recommend it!

Google
Service needed improvement, as the server was unavailable most of the time. Had to go place an order and pay the bill at the cashier. Curry was delicious. Beet salad was ok, as any average salad you could have. 5 grilled prawns was not tasty. Atmosphere is nice, especially the outside seating area

Google
Went for dinner — The food was amazing, the ingredients fresh and well-handled. They gave us a heads up that dinner food menu is appetizer only, but there are actually many good options of generous portion (5 plates were more than enough to feed us 2 hungry diners after a day on the slope). Would recommend!

Google
It was meh not too amusing, food was same meh ish, the fajitas were rather hard to eat hamburger was rather bland not very amused by the food Service is mixed opinions some people are really nice and welcoming others are just there so it’s mixed Overall not so sure I’d recommend this place (The bar section does seem cool didn’t get anything but it does seem nice ) Update the watermelon salad was also bad Most of the food was unfinished and returned avg place

Yelp
A hidden gem! This place is 100m off the main drag, but glad we gave it a try- we did happy hour after skiing, and they had amazing deals, the sharing plates were half price, and when they came out were huge (had the spicy chicken nachos and the falafel platter). Servers were super attentive, and space was nice, they also had TVs for a big football game and do live music certain nights- I would come back.

Yelp
Was in attendance at a banquet gathering at Cucina. Food was served buffet style, was fresh but either bland (the chicken) or salty (the steak). Waitstaff very friendly.

Yelp
Great place for a drink or full service breakfast... a little language barrier talking to the servers but the food was amazing

Boden S.

Yelp
Got a salmon bagel with avocado and it came out with no salmon? My girlfriend got a ham EGG and cheese croissant and it came out with no egg? What the hell is this. I tell you what it's bullshit.

Yelp
Best breakfast in village, good buffet options and drinks and very good service, greate and beautiful patio, awsome serves and Manager, Amir was our sever, very professional and friendly, definitely recommend

Yelp
I heard great things about this restaurant, but they didn't reflect our experience. We arrived at the restaurant right when they opened to enjoy the buffet. Unfortunately all of the hot food was actually cold. We ended up eating cereal and fruit for $22 each. This was a huge disappointment. Additionally the restaurant and hallway leading up to the restaurant smelled dirty. I would definitely not eat at this restaurant. There is a little cafe around the corner, Two Arrows, they have a few breakfast items that are served fresh and cost half the price. The service wasn't great. It was a buffet but it was hard to find someone to tell about the food being cold.

Yelp
This review is for the bar only. A lovely space, some nice live music, but I need to ask, can you request your bar tenders be a little friendlier. They make a nice drink, but it comes with a bit of a snarl. I don't like not tipping, so a polite request.

Yelp
Go see Axel and enjoy a nice brunch at the lodge at vail. Plenty of options on the buffet and the coffee was hot and fresh.

Yelp
Service was great, the people were great, the breakfast is great! Can't forget that the playlist was on point!

Yelp
Hands down my favorite brunch place in Vail! We came here during the fall so they were a little quiet but the views and scenery - omg I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the winter too! There's an adorable fire pit and we sat outside to people watch and enjoy the weather. The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable and I feel like for the price is worth the service level & portion sizes. While it might feel expensive seriously the portions are huge. I got the grain bowl and it was delightful with a side of delicious sayagw. We also split a smoothie (bit sweet) & fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. Absolutely love this place and will be back in the winter!

Yelp
We were staying in The Lodge at Vail, and went here a few times. Great egg white frittata. The staff is great and very diverse.

Yelp
Great place for breakfast, apres or an early dinner! Small but varied menu, and everything has been delicious. Not crowded, great service and friendly staff. Less expensive than most places around and great cocktails and wine. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We held our wedding reception here. So much to say. Here's the breakdown: - Aesthetic of the room = perfect - Quality of the food/drink = met satisfaction - Service (table side) = very attentive (although we WERE the bride and groom...) - Friendliness of staff = decent - Organization = POOR - Communication = LOW - Accuracy of order = ALMOST there We were working with a new member of the event staff who was an absolute pleasure, but was a bit mismatched to my anal-retentiveness in planning. We didn't even have a table diagram until the day before the wedding, even though we had a final headcount much earlier. She was so kind, but didn't know the answers to most of my questions and did that thing where she responded to 3 of the 5 questions in my email. : / I am happy we had the event here and loved that we had use of the dining room as well as the patio with fire pit, but the entire planning process left much to be desired. The whole time I couldn't help but feel as if I was in the middle of a big transition in this establishment. The menu changed THREE TIMES in the 7 months we were planning. The first time the cost of the entrees went up by 50% and I had to keep a very close eye, and make constant adjustments to the price we were being charged. Again, I hope that is because of some transitional phase they were in.

Yelp
We were really excited to eat here, but when we arrived and asked where it was, we were directed upstairs. Upstairs...a sign that the restaurant was closed until next month. No warning from the hotel staff downstairs, despite the restaurant having been closed since 10/5 apparently. I can't judge the food, but call ahead to confirm if it's even open. No warning on any site including the restaurant's main website.

Yelp
Omelet was great first day but second day it was fried and dry... they also messed up my sons menu item and we were the only ones there... despite telling them we were in a hurry and the only ones there the first order ( wrong order) came up 30 min later.... then they were acting as I was the crazy one for sending back banana pancakes instead of the real thing.... some kids like plain pancakes.... anyway server was not great either.... for kids pancakes and a fried omelet it was 40.... I didn't complain because I was out of time.... Ill skip b fast here next time.... Frist day was good omelet but also poor communication amongst service staff.... took 10 min to greet me...that service lady once she came was nice and friendly at least .... a genuine smile makes all the difference!

Yelp
This restaurant is moderatly priced and a casual family friendly establishment. The breakfast buffet is fabulous, or you can order off the menu. There are countless options for lunch and dinner. The burgers are handpatted in house and massive. If you arent in the mood for fine dining or counter service, check out cucina. Its right in the middle.

Bill P.

Yelp
If you are interested in having dinner at a place where the service is slow, the food never comes (never got my dinner after having to send it back due to being cold and soggy), and the wait staff seems indifferent to the situation, this is the place for you.

Yelp
We were looking for a nice, quite place to have breakfast, and that's exactly what we got! It was very difficult to find as we could not find the name anywhere, and just happened to walk into the right place, but it was sheer luck. There was only one other table of people there when we arrived, and soon we were the only ones there. Everyone (4 of us) thoroughly enjoyed our food. It is a bit pricey for breakfast (upper teens through 20's range). It was also nice to sit by the fire for a little bit after our meal, nice spot to sit and plan the rest of the day!

Molly P.

Yelp
I had breakfast at Cucina with friends and wish I knew about the restaurant sooner! The service was top notch, all of the staff was attentive and friendly. The food was incredible and we also tried their fresh juices which were great. The patio was open and offered a great view of Vail Village. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or living in town and will be a return customer!

Kelly H.

Yelp
This a great breakfast spot. Patio seating with a nice view. The menu includes a wide selection of breakfast choices - reasonably priced too! I had the chef Benedict which was delicious. My husband had the turkey frittata. He finished every bite. The portions were generous. We left full and happy!

Yelp
The food took forever even though we were the only ones there. The Brie on the salad was wrapped in plastic, the food was completely raw and 2 out of 5 where food poisoned

Yelp
WORST restaurant I have been to. We had reservations at 9pm on Valentines Day. We were 1 of 6 total tables in the restaurant. We saw our waiter twice: once to take our dinner order and once when he asked us about desert. He disappeared for over 20 mins after our appetizer arrived, with no drinks. I was very disappointed after seeing the wine list, it was meager at best. We finally got ahold of another waiter, who turned out to be the manager-He comped our drinks. Our waiter was too busy setting up for breakfast next morning to ask us how our meals were (cold, fatty meat, raw noodles, not very meaty chicken). Very disappointing, would not go back again.

Yelp
We had our wedding reception at Cucina Rustica and it was amazing! Great space, good food, and very friendly and helpful staff. I can't say enough about what a fabulous time everyone had. We received many compliments from our guests about our choice in venue. I highly recommend this location if you're planning to get married in Vail!

Yelp
Breakfast buffet is okay. The staff, however, gets 5 stars! What they lack in training and supervision they more than make up in enthusiasm, desire, and effort. Special shout-outs to Belen, Ilsa, Jamie, Beverly, Victoria...and especially to Mia-the-omelet-girl. Mia rules!
