Ate here with my girlfriends for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious. Our server, Ian, was phenomenal. He recommended excellent choices. He was very attentive. Overall, our dining experience was enjoyable.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Cucina Moderna that I can’t recommend enough! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by our waiter, Diego, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the entire meal. His genuine hospitality made us feel right at home and truly enhanced our evening. Beyond the exceptional service, the food was absolutely spectacular. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. We ordered from the Sunset Menu, which is available from 3 to 6 PM, and it was a fantastic value. The portions were generous, offering a nice sampling of various Italian favorites, and the menu includes a fresh salad to start and delicious gelato to finish. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with outstanding Italian cuisine and top-notch service, Cucina Moderna is the place to go. Be sure to ask for Diego and definitely try the Sunset Menu you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been to Cucina Moderna a few times, including to celebrate my birthday, and the food has always been a hit. Every item I’ve tried have been delicious! The drinks are also very good. The service is also amazing; from the hostess to the wait staff, everyone is warm and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful as well. Live DJ on Sundays which is nice and the Sangria pitcher is refreshing and a perfect touch to a brunch. Will definitely be back again.

Went for a work gathering. We were a large party of 17. The waiter Juan was detailed and attentive. The orders were made correctly and tasted delicious. The best part is that this place has a $10 lunch menu that is well portioned.

Great culinary experience! Open kitchen, they have aged steaks, fresh pasta, just a lot of everything. Drinks where delicious and very well balanced. Service was good, will definitely recommend and come back!!

Juan provided amazing service for dinner on a busy Friday. He recommended a perfect wine for our meal and was very attentive. It’s not every day you get great service in Miramar. We definitely will be coming back to see Juan again. We ended up ordering several rounds of food and Juan was very patient and helpful.

Cucina Moderna Miramar is hands down one of the best Italian spots I've been to. The food is amazing, the service is top-notch and professional, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Every dish is made with love and care, and it shows. I specially recommend the special dish Lobster Ravioli, it’s to die for, highly recommend!

The location has big lot parking lot sometimes does get packed because of flannies. The actual restaurant is very elegant nice and the food is tasteful and very nice aesthetically eats. The prices are typical 25-35 a plate i believe. The drinks are very nice and worth it. Def a reccomended restaurant.

Visited this location for a business lunch yesterday and overall had a positive experience. I ordered the lobster ravioli special, which was quite good--fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. The restaurant has a nice character and atmosphere, especially inside. A nice brick oven complements it. However, if you're planning to sit at the outdoor bar, just be aware they do have some issues with flies. It seems to be a broader problem with the plaza rather than the restaurant itself. To help with this, they've installed metal beaded curtains, which is a thoughtful touch. Despite that minor inconvenience, it's still a great spot for Italian food--worth a visit if you're in the area.

Amazing Italian restaurant experience! Dined here with my family, and we were all very happy and satisfied. From the decor, to the food we enjoyed it all. A little disappointed that most of the specials for the day were sold out, but the dishes that we got were very delicious. Staff was not as attentive as I would have expected, we didn't have drinks or water for much of the night, and it took a while to bring the check. Rating solely on food and ambiance. Check it out, definitely recommend!

My family and I had dinner at Cucina Moderna (our second time there), and this time around we were disappointed with the food flavor and the few flies that were hovering around our table. The service wasn't bad but not great either, having to get the attention of the server for us to order drinks. I ate half of my entree and did not take home the left overs because of the lack of flavor.

They have impressed me so much. I love Italian so this is a no brainer and little bit of a high standard. They have an extensive menu which is great to pick from when your palette is everywhere. They have a lunch menu 11-3 and also a bar menu 12-6:3 with selected items to pick from. My go-tos -house wine -burrata -the prosciutto flatbread -cacio de pepe

Visited on an early Sunday evening. Nice sized indoor/outdoor bar with TVS, spacious dining room. Pretty good selection of small bites. Fiancé ordered the meatballs -- sauce was hearty, flavorful and the meatballs tasted freshly made. I ordered their house salad -- Hearty portion, fresh and flavorful. I LOVE arugula, interesting toppings, and their balsamic dressing made this salad filling and delish!! I wish I could remember the name of our bartender because she was absolutely fabulous! Polite, friendly, attentive, and pleasant to chat with. Pricing was very reasonable especially considering the quality of food we ate! Definitely will be back to try their dinner menu!!

We visited this place for the first time with my family and we had a great time. Parking a bit tight on a Friday evening even though they're located in a Plaza. We were seated within 5 minutes but I had made a reservation prior. So can't tell about walk in wait time. But I can share the hostess was extremely nice. The place is beautiful. A mix of modern and classy without the high end pressure. The booth and bar design were beautiful. Our server was Nathan. Amazing service offered us recommendations and was on point all evening checking on us. We had: Fried ravioli: extremely good definitely an appetizer to start with Form and knife meatballs: the meatballs were good but the sauce came in cold, so not a 10 Pizza: I custom ordered a mushroom, ham and chicken pizza. The crust was amazing and perfect thickness. The only add I would say is maybe a bit less sauce would've enhanced more the topping flavors. I felt like the sauce is very similar if not the same of the sauce of both appetizers we hard Meatball and Sunday gravy linguini; basically the same as the appetizer but with pasta. Good mix. Meatballs are very filled and good size Eggplant pasta: I do not call the name on the menu as my wife ordered a special plate with Alfredo on this eggplant pasta;however, she didn't like the texture of the eggplant. They serve beer and wines she loved the Pinot griggio and I loved my peroni. The manager was super nice. Not only he checked on us and also acted upon our feedback of the eggplants The staff - top The ambience: amazing The food: almost there, per my comments above. But overall great taste.

This gem in Miramar is becoming one of my favs. Took a few friends, one being vegan all satisfied. Portions are large and tasty. We ordered calamari appetizer and bruschetta. It was so much I couldn't possibly have an entree. Ordered a pasta side with Sunday gravy and was satisfied. Decor is like you are in Italy driving a Vespa around. Service was amazing. Ian took care of us.

This was our 1st experience here and we found this place nice. The food was tasty and served hot; which was great. The drinks were also good. The issue here are the flies-you are not eating alone and you have company all around you. Most of the tables had the helicopter stands to keep the flies from landing on the table, but this for me killed my vibe. They need to find a better way to handle their fly issue.

Went with my family ordered Chicken Valdastana-D, lasagna, linguine with clam sauce. Not pictured but everyone enjoyed their food. Pretty decor and place. Service was great made recommendations that were good. Would come again to try different foods.

Just wanted to thank Mitch and our Server for an amazing lunch celebrating our company Holiday Party ! The $10 menu was a huge hit, the shrimp dish was a little salty but that's not the norm when dining here. This place is classy with a menu that is budget friendly, especially at lunch! We appreciate the wonderful location we were provided for our huge party and that they were able to split the check individually. Will definitely be back! My favorite so far is the meatball sliders, that was so delicious!

This was my second visit, and unfortunately, this restaurant seriously lacks professionalism. Our server had an unpleasant, dismissive attitude from the start. When I politely asked for the lunch specials, he didn't respond--just flipped the menu over and pointed. When I followed up to ask for the 10 for $10 menu, he tossed it onto the table without a word. Completely unnecessary and disrespectful behavior. I asked about the 3 PM-6 PM Happy Hour, and both the server and GM told me it was bar-only. When I pointed out that this wasn't mentioned anywhere, the manager gestured toward a sign near the entrance that simply read "Happy Hour 3 PM-6 PM," and said, "Sorry about that, thank you." It's entirely misleading. The food itself was excellent. The chefs are clearly the only ones who know what they're doing--and that's pretty much what the one star is for. Money doesn't buy class. However, what it can buy is a hospitality course at Broward College or Florida International University, right off I-75. I highly recommend this to anyone trying to manage a business. Courtesy, honesty, and respect go a long way.

Food was excellent! Ambiance was beautiful but fruit flies or gnats were very annoying. I don't like to eat a delicious and beautiful meal while bugs fly around. Service was good, but slow. Our server would get lost at times... but I don't like servers to be always in your face. Also, they were out if children's menus and our server didn't even mention what our kids can choose from-I had to look it up online for myself. Overall our party was happy with Cucina Moderna. 1/2 star deducted for the gnats and 1/2 star deducted for service.

Love love love this place. Brunch is amazing the service was great. Bottomless mimosas $14!!!! Best price anywhere in my opinion. Dani was our bartender and she was super nice and attentive. We went in a Sunday there was a DJ but nothing too loud or crazy. It was not packed at all. Parking is easy to find in the front.

My favorites are the pepperoni pizza, buffalo chicken bites and Cesar salad. The service is always great and the drinks are so good! Try the passion fruit mojito you won't be disappointed ! The ambiance was also nice and clean.

this must be our 10th visit and it just keeps getting better! From the moment you walk in, you're treated like royalty. The manager (Mitch) runs a tight, welcoming ship, and Evelina, our waitress, was an absolute rockstar--friendly, attentive, and just a joy. The food? Always phenomenal. The service? Impeccable. The ambiance? Perfect every single time. This place never misses. Highly, highly recommend!

Came in just for after dinner drinks & dessert. Khalil was my bartender & he was so sweet and very attentive. Got espresso martinis & zeppole! 10/10 recommend for both!

The minute i walked into this place i loved everything about it. It had a very aesthetic feel, loved that it had nice decor with high ceilings and the mirrors on the wall next to the booth gave it the final touch. Came here for a brunch on a fixed menu because it was such a big party of 60+ and it was absolutely amazing, the waiter and the waitresses were all very helpful and accommodated everyone. The pepperoni pizza along with the bruschetta were very delicious and brought out quickly even though it was a lot of us. Also had penne a la vodka which had great taste, the sauce had a good consistency and the chicken parmesan was made perfectly to taste. Will definitely return soon, would love to try the regular menu.

Food was good will repeat to try the pizza looked great issue with the nats for the wine but our waiter David was amazing and took care of situation and the made it a great experience for us to come back for another visit

I will begin by saying that this restaurant is a 10 out of 10. we came here on a Monday night to celebrate our daughters 13th birthday. We made reservations in advance, however when we arrived, there was plenty of seating. The staff were unbelievably accommodating. We were greeted immediately. Once we were seated, our waiter immediately came to our table. He was polite, he was attentive, he was patient, and most of all he provided suggestions that helped facilitate our selections. We ordered appetizers. We ordered our drinks and everything came out within a good amount of time. The appetizers and the entrées did not overlap each other. Many times you go to restaurants and you order your appetizers and they come out at the same time as your entrées. This definitely not the case here. Our food came out in perfect timing and with perfect temperature. Since it was my daughter's birthday they offered us a complimentary dessert, however, we had plans to have dessert at our favorite place. I truly enjoyed the food and the service. Inside is very nice. It was quiet and the temperature wasn't too cold considering the extreme heat outside.. Overall, my experience was a 10/10. I'll be back soon!

Really nice place with a large good looking menu. I couldn't decide between pizza or chicken piccata. So I went with pizza. The Capri pizza was great! Prosciutto and arugula with some small slices of fig to add a little sweetness. The crust was perfect for a thin crust. And it met my standards for left over morning cold pizza. Hit the spot! I also ordered a side of risotto. Nice size portion for a side. A little creamy. The bartender offered cheese and I declined. I should have added a little. Next time. I sat at the bar which was very nice. Not too loud, so good for a date or outing with friends. The entire restaurant was very elegant yet casual. It gave me a "Rick' Cafe" (Casablanca) vibe. Service was top notch. Great bartender that recommended the pizza. I'll be back for sure!

Yes yes yes I recommend Cucina Moderna, mostly because Jena made my sister's birthday memorable. She was attentive, quick and pleasant. She even made a special drink for my mom, passion fruit and lemonade. When you come here ask for Jena! The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the environment is pleasant and chill vibes with a good taste of music (we came for dinner). We ordered the following: 1. Appetizer Mussels 4.5/5 2. Fettuccine Carbonara 5/5 3. Lasagna 4/5 4. Bolognese 5/5 5. Veggie pizza 5/5 6. Pineapple and pepperoni 5/5 7. tiramisu gelato 5/5 8. Came here to celebrated my dad's birthday and it was much better than I expected. The decor is very beautiful and definitely elevates the restaurant. Our waiter was excellent and the food came out in a timely manner. All the main dishes and appetizers were great! I especially loved the fried calamari. I was hoping for their desserts to be just as great, but the flan fell a bit short and had too much of an eggy flavor. I would still come back to try other dishes!

The service was impeccable. Welcoming, accommodating, personable. Outdoor dining available. The caprese I shared with my dinner partner with burrata and thin slices of prosciutto was so good. Not so happy with the cook on the pasta. Absolutely not al dente. This is a crucial element to an American Italian! The dish was a pasta di mare. All the seafood was delicious perfection. Took it home and ate all the seafood out of it! I think this would be easily rectified by clearly stating your preference for al dente to your server. Will go back! Sorry no pic! We were starving!

I have been to this place a couple of times, and I always have a great time. They receive 10/10 when it comes to the drinks, food, and service. I usually go around lunchtime; it is not too busy, so the food comes out quick and the servers are very efficient. If your looking for a lunch date spot, this would be a great choice.

New spot alert!! Was on our way to twin peeks for post dolphins game dinner and we saw a new Flanagans, so we decided to stop. While waiting for our table we noticed this long outdoor window bar. An Italian restaurant?! Yes please! It was perfect. Amazing service, fresh bread, everything we ordered came out fast and was delicious. My favorite part? It was less then $100. Seems like everywhere we go lately, you easily spend 100+ for 2 people.. Portions are big enough to share. We had a soup, meatballs and the pasta cab. Happy hour deals everyday for the win and heard they also have brunch with $14 unlimited mimosas and other drink options!!! so I'll be back to give that a try!

Food was amazing! My fiance and I went there for date night and everything was delicious. The service was good and everything we ordered was outstanding. Would definitely be returning!

The food is amazing! I brought my family here for my birthday to try this place out and we have been back twice since. I love the food you can tell it is cooked in house and the bread is made right then and there. There's always leftovers! However, the desserts are kind of small but they are still very delicious! This will probably be where I come for every single birthday now! By far one of my favorite Italian restaurants. The inside is beautiful!

The atmosphere and food at Cucina Moderna was really something. Came here for brunch and was pleasantly surprised by just the vibes and service in the establishment. I had the stuffed French toast with Nutella and strawberries. I also had a side of potatoes and bacon because if you're gonna do it, might as well do it right! I also took advantage of the brunch unlimited mimosas. Evelina was my server and was such a wonder she was really fantastic and made the experience that much more pleasant. Give her a raise and her suggestion of the pumpkin cheesecake was A1!

David was a great server! A little attitude but it was fun! Food was very tasty and plentiful. Loved the oven brick pizza!! Definitely try the bruschetta! The bread is to die for!

I was next-door at my favorite nail salon, so I decided why not grab a bite for brunch. I had been here twice before shortly after this establishment opened but this time on a Sunday for brunch, the place was packed and music vibing. I was happy to see so many patrons and that the establishment was doing well. I waited at the hostess stand to inquire on seating, and waited, finally approaching the bartender about the hostess. Thankfully, the bartender brought it to the attention of what appeared to be the manager and I was quickly seated. It came apparent to me that the hostess showed up fairly late on a very busy day and therefore some grace given. Once the server, who turned out to be friendly and attentive, became aware of me at the solo table, everything went smoothly. I had the traditional breakfast and an Aperol spritz, both of which I enjoyed. I was treated to a scoop of coffee gelato on the house (for my troubles) so that was a nice touch!

I went there last week for brunch with my family and it was amazing the waitress Evelina. I hope I wrote it correctly. She was great. She literally made me feel like I was at home talking to one of my friends while I was ordering and the brunch. Amazing food was great. The pizza was delicious the environment, beautiful it's so elegant so amazing. My waitress was the best honestly definitely can't wait to go there again.

Lovely restaurant with indoor & outdoor seating as well as a spacious bar. Our waiter was attentive & provided the night's specials. The bread was warm & fresh, served with olive oil. They didn't have my first choice available ( Creamy Pesto & Colossal Shrimp) so I tried the Colossal Shrimp Rustica. The dish was very filling. My friend had salmon with risotto. While the salmon was delicious she would pass on the risotto next time. Overall we had a delightful evening.

Came for the margarita madness tuesdays, from the very first moment my bartenders from last night Juan and Kalil were very nice and helpful taking my order. The margarita pizza is delicious and super fresh right out of the oven. Great deal and excellent service. Would recommend.

Not only do they have the best bartender (Khalil) but I believe the management is pretty amazing as well. I asked Khalil if he could ask management to add Jack Daniels Honey. One week later, my request was done! Amazing!!!! This dude is the best bartender. Great atmosphere! Great food! Come one come all happy hour Friday nights!!!!!!

Tonight was the fourth time I went to this place. I will say the food is good. The portions are large so go hungry. Service was friendly and kind. Then we look around at the ambiance and it's like an Italian restaurant you find anywhere. It's clean, and has a bar you can sit at for both food and drinks.

A couple of housekeeping notes. Loads of parking, but almost all of the spots are taken if you arrive after 7pm on a Friday or Saturday night. Avoid the 4 seater booths if you don't want your party to have a party with the party in the opposite booth. See my picture of the guy in one of the booths completely hang his arm over to the other side. It's very loud on a Friday or Saturday night. If you want to have an intimate conversation, sit outside. Ok, I've taken care of housekeeping. The drinks are outstanding. Thanks to the bartender. My Fettuccine Alfredo was very good. Max's Veal Piccata was also very good. Both of us got the Sunset Dinner and it is well worth the cost. I did not like the gelato. Ask for Carlos.

Decided to come here for dinner with my wife, Karen, as we had nothing in the fridge and she finally had the time off from work as well. When we first came in, it wasn't very busy, but, as time went on, the crowd started showing up. Both Karen and I decided to order off their Sunset Menu. I got the Veal Picatta and Karen had the Fettuccine Alfredo. Both were very good! Pasta tasted homemade and was cooked nicely. The sauce was creamy and the veal was not tough at all. I also had two coronas on the side, which was an added plus! Both Karen and I were happy with our server and we ended our night walking out the door with smiles on our faces.

Service and food was amazing. This is a must try restaurant. Nice ambience great place to celebrate birthdays. The waitress was wonderful Danny she was amazing five stars for her for sure.
