Cucina Mutualité

"The colourful modern bistro decor and extremely cordial staff make for an appealing atmosphere. As for the food, the wonderful seasonal Italian menu is a pageant of authentic, flavourful and truly generous dishes: you won't be disappointed by the melt-in-the-mouth braised ox cheek paccheri... al dente, obviously! You may even be allowed a second helping." - Michelin Inspector

Inside Cucina Mutualité, Alain Ducasse’s Italian Restaurant

"Opened at the end of 2018, the restaurant pays homage to Catherine de’ Medici. A sunny 'bouna sera' of the turquoise-eyed Alessio at the door is a good enough beginning and when a plate of rosy mortadella with a timbale of herb-scented focaccia arrives spontaneously at the table even before you’ve had the time to settle in, there’s promise in the air. Cucina, translated simply to 'cuisine,' is the name of the most recent addition to the multi-starred Alain Ducasse’s ever-widening galaxy of restaurants. It opened at the end of last year on the site formerly occupied by another triple-starred casual concept, Yannick Alléno’s Terroir Parisien. Head chef Matteo Lorenzini executes a carefully crafted menu featuring some simple favorites." - Stephanie Curtis

I came for lunch and since the entrance, the service and camaraderie is superb. They know how to treat customers and you can recognize that. However, in term of food, I was a little disappointed. I ordered the menu sole mio (antipasti, primi piatti and dolce) and I expected much more elaboration and flavor on their dishes. The antipasti was a planche of charcuterie, which was okay in terms of content and variety, but I expected another thing as an antipasti. The primi piatti (main dish) was a beetroot risotto with gorgonzola, which sounds weird, but in terms of flavor was good. Nevertheless, in terms of preparation, it was too simple. The waitress came with a pot and served it there on the moment, which I found it interesting as a performance, but did not make any difference. For instance, if she added something else to the plate or finishes the plate in front of you, it would have been a different experience. But it wasn’t. I did not understand well how different made the waitress serving the risotto in front of me than just bringing the plate with the same portion she served. Then, I think the dessert was the best dish of the series of plates I tried for lunch: panacotta with nuts from Piemonte. You could really see the dedication, attention to detail and layers of flavors in one dish. A mix of sweet with salty touches from the caramelized sugar and nuts. Although the dish was good, I think it could have been perfect if the praliné wasn’t very sour. Finally, the coffee and little chocolate was a good way to conclude the experience. I paid for that menu, 35 euros which I think is fine. However, I have had better experiences with lunch menus from other restaurants (from the Michelin guide) paying a few more euros, whose menu is more elaborated and delicious in terms of food. In any case, I think I need to try their degustation menu (Tentazioni) to get a better sense of their experimental food with good quality. Besides food, I liked the ambience. A beautiful place that makes you feel like in Italy with a playlist including classic Italian songs. 😋🌎🍽️✈️ Sabor Kairos

I wanted to love this place esp since named as a Michelin Bib Gourmand. The servers are friendly attentive and genuinely ask for feedback. However the kitchen seemed to be slow delivery for a 930pm dinner. The food quality inputs are high and seemed appealing. However the tastes ranged from bland to competing to pleasant. For example, the fish was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth but the fish couldn't decide among the bitter cabbage and the spicy Asian zing sauce. The pork belly worked well with richness. The polenta was excellent. Again, some dishes bland, some bitter, some excellent. It seems there was group feedback but no executive decision. (le Kitchen Terre restaurant is more flavorful and pronounced). The menu is pricey so it's difficult to say a great value for money. Overall, friendly attentive staff, high quality ingredients, yet mixed taste from bland to competing to pleasant on dishes, and the prices are upper end.

Great Italian cosy restaurant ! Everything was great from start to finish. Friendly and professional staff, I also loved their original selection of revisited Italian dishes. Portions are rather small but the quality of ingredients makes up for it. Fairly priced, I highly recommend this establishment for a nice dinner, for a date as well as with friends or family.

Google
A very quick review. This restaurant is actually a Ducasse, the 3 stars (and 2 stars, 1 star). It shows. The waiters are well trained, knowledgeable and really nice. The food is precise. For instance the tartare sauce is not your classical Vitello Tonnato. But the addition makes it quite remarkable. A very nice place for an impromptu dinner or lunch.

Google
Good food, nicely decorated. Service was ok. Rather expensive with small-ish portions. The restaurant is part of the Alain Ducasse group. Needless to say the food is really good, with quality ingredients. Service was okay and we had a friendly waiter. The price is quite high for rather small portions. The place is nicely decorated with some smooth music coming out of Devialet speakers... 3.5 🌟

It’s a very nice restaurant, the food is very good as well! But I found the portions small, and we had to wait quite a bit for the food. It could have been a better experience if we had ordered the tasting menu but we didnt. I would still recommend it though, it’s quite enjoyable.

Yelp
This was such a great experience. Great service, good food, and lots of fun. I would consider this non-traditional Italian food, but the service was outstanding, and the food was great. Our server was very good, he gave some great descriptions of the wine and recommended a white that we enjoyed. This is outside of the normal Paris cuisine, but it was a great find.

Yelp
Just had an excellent meal here. Found via Michelin Bib Gourmand list and it didn't disappoint. Fun twists on classics, quality ingredients and very good service. Would recommend if you want something different than the excellent French food available around town. Definitely felt like we were getting good value for the $ to qualify of food ratio.
