We tried the new lunch space associated with Cucina Toscana. It's open air, but still manages to be cool despite the summer heat and pizza oven! The pizza was excellent and so was the salad. I wish they had more options! And the parking situation is still in flux but it looks like they have some designated spots coming soon.

Really solid restaurant in Salt Lake City. I like the interior decor, not too overwhelming, with good taste. Plenty of space with windows all around it. The old gas distributor and the three piggies out in front give it an interesting touch. The service is nice and pleasant to interact with. Food is really good. I just wish the salads were a bit bigger :) overall, great spot if you have a taste for a good italian food.

I only came here since i saw it on an episode of the real housewives of salt lake city. I highly recommend getting the eggplant parm appetizer it was fresh delicious and flavorful. The beef tenderloin special was fantastic as well. The pistachio gelato was great and last but not least was the chocolate martini. Total bill for one person was $101.14. With 20% suggested tip $20 bucks extra. A bit steep but my waiter jackson was very attentive, helpful and knowledgable about the menu. No wait and seated right away and made a reservation like 2 seconds before arrival.

Excellent service by Edgar. Generous portions at fair prices. Clever to offer a caper laced olive oil with the bread. The scallop antipasti is highly recommended, as is the beet salad. Spinach ravioli was a popular choice. The wine list offered a good range in region and price

Five stars and beyond! From the moment you walk through the doors, your experience begins. The ambiance is beautiful, and each space and table has an intimate feel. Each dish was a flood for the senses, giving new experiences with each dish. My husband and I have dined here previously and can appreciate changes in the new ownership and attention to each detail presented to us while dining. We recommend Cucina Toscana to anyone who visits Utah and have never heard anyone not rave about them afterward. Our server Molly was an absolute delight and added touches to make our Anniversary dinner intimate and special. This is a must dine experience for all while in the downtown area. You will not be disappointed. We are already looking forward to our future visits!

Google
This restaurant was better than I anticipated. I decided to come here for the first time for my birthday dinner so we didn’t know what to expect. The atmosphere was calm & intimate. Perfect for both date night or family dinner. My 9 year old also loved it. The food was delicious especially the salmon. I loved my drink as well. The new avenues drink was perfectly balanced both strong & sweet. The staff was friendly and approachable. Luis and Alex were very attentive and made my birthday dinner go very smoothly. They took great care of us. It made my day honestly. 10/10 hands down ❤️

Google
The quality of the food is unbelievable, the staff are very helpful and kind, and the restaurant is pretty. It is a little pricey, but worth it. The servers make excellent recommendations, and you won’t be disappointed. The serving is so professional, and they are always making sure your table is clean.

Michael was an amazing server. He was very accommodating for my birthday and my in laws anniversary. Loved hearing his stories about his tattoos (we asked). 10/10 would come again. Loved all the food suggestions. 😋

Yelp
This place blew me away, all the food was high quality and extremely delicious left my tummy feeling exceedingly satisfied. The starters we ordered were fresh simple and exquisite. We had got the beef carpaccio which was very unique in flavor and a perfect start for the meal to come. The burrata pomodoro was an excellent play on the sweet acidic tomatoes and the delicate gentle burrata. I had to ask for basil on the side, but I wish it had come with the dish it definitely elevated the flavors. The stars of the show were the main dishes. The gnocchi arrabiata wasn't anything to write home about the texture was off and the sauce tasted mediocre, but the other two plates were some of the best Italian pasta I've ever had and I've been around. The Tuscan ravioli was honestly to die for; it had a butter sage sauce with a hint of tomato and was filled with ricotta and spinach. It was a combination of delicate fresh pasta and a rich sweet filling that comes together to dance on your tongue. The carbonara pasta was honestly the best carbonara I've ever had even having been to Italy. The sauce was immensely creamy and the noodles were a perfect AL dente consistency the flavor was out of this world. We had all but licked the plates when we were done, but I might've just gone and done it for the carbonara. A big thank you to the chefs and I will definitely be coming back as soon as I get the chance. I see a lot of reviews saying that this place is super expensive but in my opinon everything was moderately priced and very worth it for the quality of food served.

Yelp
This was a real disappointment. I had booked a private room and paid for audio visual equipment (including a large screen TV and microphone) but the restaurant failed to deliver. We never got the microphone even though I had inquired about it. Also, the way the room was set up, the windows reached the ceiling and provided too much lighting. The window shades only covered up to a certain point, so we were left with bright outdoor light beaming onto the TV to the point where it was difficult to see the screen from the glare. They at least removed the $50 fee for the microphone and speaker since they weren't available. We had a prix fixe menu and everything was awful, from the appetizers to the entrees to the dessert. The appetizers were raviolis and gnocchi in a spicy red sauce. The flavors were funky. I had ordered salmon and it was dry and salty. When the server noticed I only took one bite, he asked if everything was OK so I mentioned that it was overly dry and salty. In an attempt to make up for the bad dish, he offered me anything else from the menu. I opted for a simple beet and arugula salad. This salad was also disappointing because the beets were not fresh, and the arugulas were wilted. The tiramisu was too sweet and lacked the coffee taste. Everyone from our party complained about their food being too salty. The food tasted like they were prepared in advanced and reheated. I had reserved the room for 21 people, however, only 14 plates were. We had a good number of people leave early due to the extended wait time for food to be delivered to our table. I had asked the server to bring out everything anyway because we could always box them up and hand them out to the homeless people, but he didn't even do that. I still got charged for 21 portions. I had brought this to the attention of Jake Strack, the Director of Guest Experience, but my concerns were ignored. He had been really easy to work with when I was coordinating the event, but when it came to addressing issues, my concerns were dismissed. This is bad business. This restaurant is typically closed on Sundays, so I appreciate that they opened for us and another large private party. However, I think they were understaffed so the food and service were sub-par.

Yelp
Service is a bit slow. Sea bass and shrimp is ok. Pistachios gelato was the highlight. Good ending to my dinner!

Yelp
Walked in. Told no reservations for 30 minutes. Went to yelp and could have made an immediate reservation. Too bad for them.

Yelp
This is a great restaurant in downtown SLC. Located in an old Firestone building it has a unique vibe. My waiter, Jack, was very attentive and offered menu suggestions. I ordered the roasted duck with figs. If you like duck, I recommend this dish. The lasagna also came highly recommended, so I may have to go back and try it.

Yelp
Great food, clean, and great customer service. What else could you ask for? I highly recommend Cucina Toscana!

Yelp
Personally, this place is highly overrated. We went here for a birthday celebration based off the reviews but all left really underwhelmed. Three of us had dinner -- three entrees, two salads, two desserts, one beer, one cocktail, and one Coke and it was over $200. We made a reservation and were seated quickly, but the floor was so uneven all of the chairs rocked back and forth and the table was wobbly. The noise level was low and the table were spaced apart nicely so it was easy to have a conversation which we appreciated. The service was good until we ordered and then we barely saw our waitress. We ran out of drinks after our appetizers and weren't offered refilled or more until we were brought a dessert menu. It was almost like once we ordered we weren't really considered again. We watched other tables get their crumbs brushed off, but we were never offered that. The food was very average. You could get the same quality food at another place and pay half the price. We ordered two caesar salads that said they were prepared table side, but were brought out made and had a weird taste. The carbonara was decent, but I've had better. The pork tenderloin looked unappetizing when it came out, but it tasted good. The steak special was ok, but overpriced for the quality of beef. And the potatoes on both were a little too firm for anyone's liking. I was not a fan of the desserts we picked. The crème brûlée was sour tasting and really cold, even the top that was caramelized. We won't be coming back here or recommending it to anyone.

Yelp
Wonderful meal! We went here to celebrate our anniversary and had the best service by Jack. We ordered the Caesar salad & beet salad. My husband said the Caesar was the best he'd ever had. And for our main entrees we had the chicken piccata & the ravioli. It was such an unforgettable experience!

David C.

Yelp
Food was just okay. Pasta was fresh but really nothing special about it. Sorry for the price, should really be 5 star but was pretty blah

Michael H.

Yelp
Very nice staff but......The carbonara is full of fatty bacon and overly thickened sauce. Not all authentic whatsoever. They serve red wine in Walmart glasses. Most of their staff is 21 and under ... Try sicilia mia or antiqua sicilia for authentic quality Italian food. I think most of their budget is going to their rent..
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
Service was amazing and the food was fresh but the menu was very limited. For instance, there were only 3 different appetizers. The recipes were nothing special: well executed but nothing memorable.

Yelp
This is a truly bizarre place. We accidentally arrived 30 min early for our reservation and the restaurant was borderline empty- like 75 percent of tables were available. However, the hostess- wearing a pink sweater that appeared to be actively "shedding" - told us that she could not seat us because our reservation wasn't for 30 min. We told her it looked like the restaurant was empty. She said that they didn't have enough servers. We said we could understand that but could we just sit down and have drinks while we waited for a server. She said no. We stood awkwardly by the entrance table and then asked if there was anyone else we could speak with. The manager came out. He said they didn't have enough servers, but he would see what he could do and at least he brought us to a seated waiting area. 15 min later, we were seated. The restaurant was still empty. The food was fine. Several dishes were good- like the burrata starter, but most were average or below average with small portions and poor presentation. The gnocchi came out in a weird single layer smothered in red sauce with nothing to "break up" the visual. The bathrooms also showed the under-staffing- the trash can in one of the stalls of the women's bathroom was overflowing. But- really- on the whole- the experience would have been "good" if it hadn't been for the horrible greetings that negatively tainted everything that came after it.

Yelp
Came here for a pre-wedding dinner, and especially considering the size of the party and occasion, I expected more from the restaurant. The interior of the area our party was seated in was pretty and there was lots of natural lighting. Service, however, was mid. Staff seemed like they weren't too sure of what was happening and there were some mixups with some of our orders. (We ordered off a set menu, so we had very limited options to choose from.) We basically chose entrees from options A or B, not sure how you could mix that up.... Food wasn't anything to write about, in presentation or taste. I evaluate places for their product, service, and/or ambiance/vibes. This place did not deliver on 2/3 of these things. I would not come here again, for any occasion.

Yelp
This ravioli is what I call the "ravioli of my dreams." It's is the perfect ratio of filling in each piece. The sauce with it is perfection! The Beet carpaccio is my favorite appetizer. Another perfectly balanced and fresh dish. Their lasagna is very flavor. The carbonara is definitely among the best in town. Their salads are also fresh and light. The parking is a little tricky some nights but worth it for the food. The restaurant is classic and we love the Frank Sinatra music in the background. Service is always professional and accommodating. Very welcoming environment.

Yelp
We have been dining at the restaurant for several times . Tonight the food and services both were excellent, our server Luis that done an excellent job .

Yelp
We came here on a Friday evening for a birthday dinner. The drinks we started off were pretty good and at least strong for alcoholic drinks. For starters, we did a Caesar salad, and a charcuterie board. The Caesar salad seemed way too sour, and the dressing did not taste like Caesar at all and the lettuce was not fresh. When the charcuterie board came out, it was a $30 plate with like 5 pieces of cheese, 5 pieces of grapes and a few meats which was so salty. My main dish was the ravioli with the four cream cheese and asparagus (interesting combo) and my fiancé had the fish of the day which was the sea bass. I will say his dish was probably the best out of everyone, but my ravioli was SO disappointing. It seemed as though they made my dish first and it sat there because when it came out it was cold and the sauce thickened up so you know it's been sitting there AND my dish was small. Overall service was nice but the food, not so much.

Yelp
I've heard wonderful things about this place and my customer recommended it for a holiday dinner, so I made reservations for a 6PM rendezvous. Service continues to plague many restaurants, and Cucina is not exempt from this. They were generous with the pre- dinner bread, and my guests each had a glass of wine prior to my arrival. When I joined them, we shared a bottle. Eventually, we ordered and waited and waited for our food to come out. We all had salads prior to our entree's, and they were all good. Dinner was good also, though I thought my gnocchi bolognese needed something more. My customer's lasagna also needed something to dress it up, but both tasted good. We waited and waited for the dessert menu and check and I sported the bill, which was a bit more than anticipated, but I also usually don't get a bottle of wine, either. Would I go out of my way for Cucina Toscana in the future...maybe-

Stephen J.

Yelp
Probably a mistake to go on Valentine's. They had it laid out to fit as many couples as possible, and our table was pretty wobbly. The menu was limited, probably because of the holiday. I think the food quality did not match the price. Staff were very attentive and polite.

Yelp
One of the best dining out experiences that we've had in a long time, our server Margarita was amazing & very informative & knowledgeable on the menu! The fresh made pasta was delicious & the presentation was interactive & fun!

Bob V.

Yelp
I've been fortunate to host several business holiday parties here and always had the best service and dining experience. It is our choice for hosting holiday events. Looking forward to the next event or just having a date night with my wife here the food and service is that good.

Taylor L.

Yelp
Had high hopes going into this restaurant after looking at the reviews and was incredibly disappointed. The service was awful, the food was absolutely disgusting and not to mention over priced. I ordered the gnocchi and the sauce was canned cambles tomato soup. The burrata was AWFUL which how do you mess up burrata? My husband and I also ended up getting food poisoning. Can not say enough bad things about this place.
google avatar

Natalie G.

Yelp
Perfect for a date night . The atmosphere is very welcoming and warm. Had the cheese plate , I'm not a wine connoisseur and the recommendation by the waitress paired nicely. There was a nice variety on the menu ,ultimately we had both the Duck and Braised short rib. Absolutely delicious, Will be back soon enough .

Yelp
A solid, enjoyable Italian meal in Salt Lake City. Prices are decent if not cheap. I had the pasta tutti grande which was tasty if not filling. The ravioli is definitely better than the gnocchi. I had the torte chocolate for deserts which was excellent. The service was attentive if not particularly warm. The manager came around to check if everything was okay.
google avatar

Yelp
This is not authentic Italian food. Some of the food was cold and also small in size, specifically the protein. I would not recommend.

Yelp
My second time visiting this restaurant in a week and found it to be quite delicious and amazing. Made reservations on OpenTable both times and things couldn't have ran smoother. We had 3 servers to our table as did the rest of the guests sharing the same group of workers. The main server was so knowledgeable on all of the ingredients and preparation. Food came out in a timely manner all made from scratch and delicious. Not a single complaint from my picky hard to please little brother and his wife. Exceptional food, service, ambience, and warm welcoming staff with a smile. For sure will be back!

Yelp
Had dinner here last night. Just amazing. My son and I both had seafood dinners and they were awesome. Margarita, our Server, was top notch! Thanks for the outstanding food and superb service.

Yelp
We had the opportunity to host a corporate event which was great. The service was really good but food was ok, very simple Italian food. The place retro vibe is very cozy but baths need a little refresh and attention.

Yelp
I truly enjoyed all of the delicious food here. Everything we had was amazing down to the service. It was a cool vibe for friends or a family dinner. The only thing I'll say I didn't like was being ignored by management when I emailed 3 times and called twice to get a copy of my dinner receipt. I would've rated 5 stars otherwise. No one followed up with me. The caesar salad was the best I've had in such a long time!

Yelp
Stopped here after a long work day/ business trip , first time in Salt Lake City. I was able to walk in and be seated without a reservation, although it was a party of 1, on a Friday night. The ambiance in the first half of the restaurant has mixed feelings, as if the building used to be a burger place or bar ( exposed large pipes, rough flooring, large front windows etc), yet the back half seemed more of the vibe they were going for with large velvet chairs. Guests were dressed in a mixture of casual clothing and business casual. The tables were dressed as an upscale restaurant with a white table cloth, dinner plates, side plates, dessert and formal fork, wine water and wine glasses. Service was amazing and server was knowledgeable on the wine list and made an excellent recommendation. Warm melted butter with olive oil and herbs was served to the table. Good portion sized bread to dip, although cold and not toasted. I ordered the rosemary fennel crusted duck with roasted fig and spinach. The duck was tender and able to cut with a butter knife. The glaze was savory sweet, with the fig poring perfectly with a glass of Fatalone Primitivio Riserva (red). For dessert I ordered the vanilla infused crème brûlée, a single macchiato, and a single Courvoisier. Paired excellently. Overall a great experience.

Yelp
For a $170 meal we were extremely underwhelmed. I had the Ossobuco, he had the New York steak. Both were just average. My ossobucco was super fatty. There were minimal vegetables, so basically it was a fatty piece of meat with little else. Won't be back again.
google avatar

Yelp
Coming from out of town, we had trouble finding anywhere else to eat on a Friday night. We got sat right away and had the pleasure of being served by Edgar. He was super knowledgeable and professional. The host, bussers & other servers were very hardworking and ensured that we had the best service. Very impressed! The cheesecake was phenomenal!

Sara M.

Yelp
Nice local restaurant with an interesting menu. Ate here 3 times at dinner and enjoyed our visits. Great location in the avenues and service is really good. Wine v nice and frozen Sangria on a hot evening is good. Try the ice cream and sorbet at the end of your meal... really good

Yelp
My wife and I on date night for opening Jazz night and decided to grab a bite. We came across Cucina Toscana. Wow! The service, food, drinks were amazing! I highly recommend this place for any occasion.

Abbie A.

Yelp
The BEST food with the BEST service! I felt welcomed as soon as I entered by evelin, the host, and was escorted to the table i requested over the phone. all of the staff made sure we were helped as soon as we sat down with our choice of water and other beverages, as well as fresh bread. Margarita, Evelin, and Alex were all amazing with suggestions from the menu, and well as providing us the fine dining ambiance we wanted on our anniversary. Seriously the best italian food in SLC, it's a must try!
google avatar

Penny M.

Yelp
We went here a few weeks ago for our anniversary few weeks ago. We we're so excited because it's a new place I never tried. Made our reservation and went the same day. When getting seated the hostess forgot our menu. The restaurant was empty but yet the waiter still too 15 min bring us water or check on us. After he did check we waited another 5-10 Mins for the menu. Luckily we checked Yelp On what to say order fast Because who knows how long it would have been for him to come back and take her order. The food was another 45 mins to 1 Hour to arrive. Which we didn't mind but still restaurant was pretty empty. However it did take 20 minutes after to receive our cocktail. At this point we were exhausted of waiting and the bad service it was not pleasant coming here for our anniversary. The staff stood around and chatted more then worked this day. Food was delicious, service was not good. I hope it was just one bad visit for me and not always like this.

Yelp
This should be, without a doubt, a four star review. Be patient with me, I'll get to that in a bit. So we're in Salt Lake City for a few days for a Business Valuation Conference, which ended at noon Saturday. So we have a day and a half to see the sights. Oh boy I'm going off the rails. Okay, so it's Saturday night and I figure we should go out for a romantic dinner. Yelp screams out this restaurant and bonus, it's a block away from the Condo we're renting. We're seated at a really table and our waitress gives us the specials. We order drinks and start going over the menu which is not one of those five page menus, but about a dozen choices, specializing in Homemade Pasta. I choose their Duck Breast, and Mrs. E. Goes with their Duo of ravioli & gnocchi. First their cheese platter which was beyond excellent. Apparently they partner with a local cheese artisan that imports cheese from Italy. All the food was excellent, service from our waitress, perfect. Oh before I explain my issue, a Yelp check in gets you a free Gelato desert. LOVE YELP. Ok so a maitre d, I guess keeps coming over to our table talking to us, or particularly my wife. He's talking about Salt Lake City, then goes on about a local photographer, constantly cleaning out table. On and on to a point that it was uncomfortable. He finally leaves for minute then returns with pictures on his phone to show my wife. After she gives me the look, of get this guy out of here, I say , we have to order our desert now. He leaves and is back in two minutes with more talk to my wife. At this point I'm ready for a knife fight, and I know I can take this guy, fair fight or not. Well I think he gets the hint and leaves. He returns with the check, and hands it my wife, like I'm not there. Someone needs to put a leash on this dude, and walk him out the back door. Yes the food was worth 4-5 stars, same for most of the staff, but for me, this guy cost the restaurant. I don't know if I'll be back in Salt Lake City any time soon, but this restaurant is on my " Do Not Go To" list and I have to encourage you not to go there until a change is made. Sorry

Charles N.

Yelp
Awesome from start to finish. Super staff. "Luigi" served us. Generous servings. Tiramisu was a great ending

Yelp
We love going to Cucina Toscana! It's been my favorite restaurant since the first time I came. We came here with our whole family for my 50th birthday You can't beat the Trittico Pasta Del Giorno! We think about having it before and after the main corse! It's that good!! Margerite is our favorite server. She is a lot of fun. She lets us know the best way to have the meat temperature, suggestions on the specials and knows the drink options well. We had a great dinner tonight and will be back soon.

Yelp
Been here many times and have always had a delightful experience. Everything on the menu is fantastic!

Yelp
Dined on a Monday with a semi busy dining room. The food, service and ambiance was fantastic. Our server, Margarita was very attentive and we had outstanding service. We all ate different meals and each one was very delicious. The dessert was so good as well as the cappuccino. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Jamie C.

Yelp
The food and service is stellar. Hands down my favorite restaurant in Utah!! Spinach pasta is delicious. We love the ambiance too. Margaritas service is amazing!! We appreciate her.

Yelp
I can't speak for every dish but the home made ravioli with a butter sage sauce was lick-your-plate-clean good. I mean the kind where you can't stop talking about how good it is. Next time I'm in SLC I will return

Yelp
I have been to this restaurant many times, and if you go here you will figure out why is that could happen to you. The restaurant is very comfortable to be in . i've been there with just my wife and and many times with four or five others and sometimes with 15 or 20 others. We have always had great service in a very inviting surrounding.

Yelp
You're better off at Olive Garden. At the time of writing, I'm 45 minutes into my dining experience, with no food. Our reservation was for 7pm on a Friday evening. We waited 10 minutes to be seated, and now I understand why. It took the sever 10 minutes to even acknowledge our table and bring water. He came back about 10 minutes later to take our drink order, which he failed to get correct anyway. The wine glasses were dirty as well. We were brought a meager amount of bread (maybe a slice divided into 4 tiny pieces) that was cold and relatively stale. 50 minutes later out server finally took our appetizer and dinner orders. The food ended up being pretty mediocre, with their "charcuterie and cheese board" being literally 4 grapes, some prosciutto, and a couple pieces of cheese, all of which was pretty standard fare. When the main entrees actually arrived (an hour and a half after we were seated) it was really mediocre, with my "spicy" gnocchi being absolutely foul and the sauce straight out of a can, and the ravioli overcooked and sad looking, served off a rickety table with a used dish towel near my food, not to mention the server removing his mask several times to talk to us and other tables. It's obvious that their failing health grade was earned. There appeared to be a general manager of some sort walking around, which he felt appropriate to both 1. Not help a clearly overworked and understaffed team 2. Wear his AirPods the whole time. The sever eventually acknowledged (yet didn't apologize) for the wait, claiming it was because there were too many patrons without reservations, despite us having a reservation. This restaurant used to be one of my favorite Italian places in Salt Lake, but unfortunately this service was so bad and the food not even good enough to justify it, I won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend it. It must be new management or something because it's really such a different experience than the one I'm familiar with in the past.

Authentic Italian food in Salt Lake City Utah! Food was good and so was the service. Pricey

Yelp
We are from out of town for a funeral. My sister-in-law discovered this restaurant on Yelp. The three star rating was for the main course, most important part and most expensive part of the meal. We are a party of 6 and paid about $600, which included an automatic gratuity of 20% for a large party (I have no issues with that). Pros: Appetizers we chose were AMAZING. We even created our own appetizer with gnocchi and ravioli, we should have made a meal out of it. Perfect! My brother-in-law loved his main course of Pesce In Umido and the other brother loved his Spaghetti Al Crudo. Wine list was good, cocktails and beers were great and the desserts were amazing. Loved the atmosphere and interior design, almost like a "Speakeasy," but rustic, yet elegant. It is just my style of interior look. The staff was attentive and helpful. Cons: My main course of Scallopine di Vitello Albese (veal) and my boyfriend's New York Steak were sooooo tough. Challenging to cut with a steak knife and difficult to chew. When we brought it to the attention of the manager, she said "Maybe because the steak was too thick." Hmmm, well the veal was almost as thin as a pancake and the steak was 3/4 inch thick. I think it's just because of the quality of meat or cooked too fast by the chef. In this case we are leaning towards the quality of meat. We thought that was a strange response. The flavoring was just a tad too bland as well. The sides were spot on, but that does NOT justify the cost of the individual dish. We have no problem paying this much for a meal that is amazing from beginning to end, but not when it falls short at the main course (again other members of our party were satisfied with their dishes, but we were not with the beef entrees). The server took 30 minutes in taking our drink orders, but once she began, she kicked it in gear and made up for it throughout the rest of the meal. All that being said, in-spite of the other dishes, we would not recommend this place unless you prefer pasta or seafood dishes. The beef was not worth the time or the place. Additionally, they were out of the short ribs that my boyfriend wanted, so he settled for steak. (Disclosure: none of us ordered pork or chicken dishes, so we cannot speak to those).

Yelp
My wife and I went to Cucina Toscana for a birthday meal after reading the reviews and looking at the menu earlier the same day. The wait staff was friendly and appeared professional. menu prices were high, and we expected an above average meal. The table we sat at was moderately clean and had a view of the cooking area. Serving carts were used and not cleaned after each table delivery although the staff did clean the edges of all the plates prior to serving them. We ordered a salad which was nice and came with very salty tasting cheese. My wife ordered a mixed seafood appetizer which was undercooked and tasted fishy meaning that the items served were not fresh. I opted for the lasagna which had not been thoroughly warmed prior to being served. Once again, the dish was very salty which as you know is a device for extending the life of dishes. SAD to say we ate a modest portion of the dishes and left the restaurant. We left an appropriate tip for the staff as we felt sorry for them. In ALL HONESTY, this was one of the most disappointing, overpriced meals we have had in a long time. We will NEVER return.

Yelp
I am taking this opportunity again to congratulate Cucina tuscana for their care and service at a recent dinner. My granddaughter's graduation dinner was celebrated at this restaurant just recently. We had a party of 10 people. Some restaurants would be a little bit overwhelmed by serving champagne and a full course dinner to large group. Not here. Our server, Margarita, Had the service fully under control. Some of our people express said they would like some changes in the appetizers And margarita and the kitchen change some of the items very satisfactorly. Incidentally I've had this server take care of mini similar dinners for my wife and me for many years, so while making reservations , it might be good to use her name and get Margarita to serve your table. We have never had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant. We've always felt that everyone working here was interested in our experience from the bussers and servers and up to the owner.
