Cuco's Burritos

Dinner out on a Friday night. It is a little place with limited seating, but packs a big punch. Your order at the counter and take out is obviously very popular. I ordered La Diabla de Camaron, as a burrito bowl and my husband ordered 3 tacos. Spectacular food! All fresh ingredients and made to order. We ate on the patio and it was fantastic. I will definitely come back when I am in Redwood City again.

Great burritos, loved the Al Pastor pork... and they have a vegetarian menu and a vegan menu! The vegan tofu al pastor burrito (!) was super flavorful, and they had a bunch of other vegan protein options. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will totally be back to this one. Most definitely check it out if you are vegetarian or vegan. Best vegan burrito I've tasted yet.

A must-visit spot for everyone—vegan, vegetarian, or not! I was seriously impressed by how inclusive and flavorful the menu is. Whether you eat everything or stick to plant-based options, there’s something here for you. They offer a wide range of vegan and vegetarian dishes without sacrificing taste—and they also have plenty of traditional options if you’re dining with a mixed group. I personally loved the burrito with tofu al pastor—it was smoky, well-seasoned, and incredibly satisfying. Highly recommend!

Thank you to Cuco's Burritos in providing catering for my work lunch event. They were very patient and understanding of my back and forth in changing the menu and everyone enjoyed the food. Just amazing! I ordered 33 burritos and they were cut in half so share with everyone and it was jus the right amount for 22 people. Go to Cuco's for catering if you are having a lunch work event.

Tried Cuco’s the other day, and boy do I feel that I have found my new go-to burrito spot! The food was delicious and filling and the staff were friendly and expeditious with making the food. I highly recommend trying them out, you won’t regret it!

Loved these burritos! Got the aporreadillo which contained carne seca, Spanish rice, beans, and eggs. This was super flavorful! We also tried the Suiza de pollo burrito. The chicken was flavorful and it was nice it was topped with cheese and tomatoes. Loved the sauce it was drenched in. I ordered this to go. They have a unique variety of burritos!

Wrapped perfectly, packed with fresh, flavorful meat, and served up by an excellent all-women staff who brought great energy. The place had good vibes all around -- the kind of spot that makes you want to come back, even before you've finished your last bite.

One of the best burrito spots in the Bay Area! Parking is a little limited, but the super burrito was out of this world. I got carne asada and they loaded it up with a ton of meat. Great service and food priced reasonably. Will definitely be back!

It's unique to see a shop whose name has the word "burrito". Naturally, when my family and I were craving burritos, this is where we ordered from. One of my cousins is vegan so it was perfect to see that Cuco's had a couple of vegan options. Food ordered: All items came with a side of chips and salsa. The chips were so good and crunchy and you can tell they are made of tortilla since they are thicker (which I love). 1. Chicken Super Burrito (3/5) The chicken in the super burrito was a little plain on its own if you got a bite of just that, as the flavors weren't super melded together. However, all the ingredients tasted really fresh and not salty which I feel a lot of burritos can be. Also loved that all burritos come grilled and in a little parchment sleeve. 2. Steak Super Burrito (4/5) The steak in the super burrito was more flavorful and I felt that the flavors of the ingredients melded better in this. 3. Veggie Quesadilla (4/5) The veggie quesadilla had so much flavor and the filling was savory and yummy. I'd reorder this. Overall, the food was delicious, and the chips were one of my favorites from a restaurant. The flavors tasted more clean and less spiced than other burrito places which I personally don't prefer as much, but for a solid burrito that you won't feel heavy after enjoying, this is for you. I am excited to come back to try out some other speciality items.

Been meaning to go to Cuco's for a while and am so happy that I tried it now. I got a Kearny Asada burrito and it was delicious. It was a jampacked burrito of full of flavor and meat. It also came with a side of chips and salsa. The meat was so perfectly cooked and juicy. I will be coming back for the other burritos and recommend other people to try this as well.

Ohh wow. This was so delicious. Randomly found this after an appt at Kaiser. And I can tell you what a gem. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast burrito. Small interior with only a couple of tables. I think they do a lot of takeout. But have a nice patio outback. I will for sure be back again.

3.5 stars rounded to 4 based on the complimentary horchata for their 6th anniv. Decent flavor burrito but was sorely disappointed by the lack of protein amount inside. It was mostly beans and rice with their special sour flavor sauce.. I was touring diff burrito spots in RWC on a hunt for the best burrito and I would say this place is pretty mid for the price range. Seems all of their variable costs went to packaging and marketing vs many food trucks in the neighborhood that are more focused on value. Don't get me wrong, the flavor was decent, this place balances the need for acid with rich gooey taste of a properly stuffed burrito, what it lacks is the proportions of protein vs rice and beans. Parking is difficult, only few spots and competitive street parking. Workers are friendly and service is decent as each burrito comes with a small bag of chips and salsa. There are few tables inside the store as well as outside in the small parking lot if you want to eat there. Overall a decent spot but I would prob hit up another neighborhood food truck before I come to this place if im craving a burrito. Go try it for yourself.

What a delightful place, with sunny outdoor seating and delicious food & drinks brought to your table. Chips & salsa, too. I had the mango agua refresca, the California Burrito, the Chile Verde specialty burrito, and they even have my favorite woman-owned pre/probiotic drinks from Wildwonder. I got to try a new flavor today thanks to Cuco's. The staff were all delightful, and I have found my new favorite burrito spot. My first visit couldn't have been better.

YUM. This place has the best burritos. This review is only for the food. I was craving take out one day and decided to Door Dash and found this spot was open for breakfast. I ordered the Huevos Con Chorizo Burrito and it was bomb. The texture of the tortilla, the flavors of the chorizo and egg with the fix in's. YUM. I can't really speak on the service there because I did not order inside the restaurant. But for the food, I would say they're good. I mean the name is Cuco's BURRITOS lol so I think they're known for that. I would order here again and definitely wanna try their other items to see if they're just as bomb.

Took it to-go. Hit the spot with a perfect ratio of sauce, salsa, and other goodies. Only wish they didn't charge extra for more lettuce!

I had the most delicious vegetarian breakfast burrito here. I got the nopal breakfast burrito and it kept me full all day while I went on a casual hike.

Hands down BEST burritos in our local area. Service and food is consistently amazing! We've been coming here for years since the kids were little and always so happy to see the place buzzing and doing well. The ambiance is chilled and love that they have some outdoor seating. If you haven't tried Cuco's you're missing out!!

Husband and I got the breakfast burritos (served all day). He got the Californiano and I got the Mexicana. We've been on the hunt for the best breakfast burrito in the area and we think we found it. Both were delicious and the staff were super nice. Would definitely come back!

Everything. I enjoyed everything. I randomly found this place on yelp on my way to work and kinda liked the presentation in the pictures and it had good reviews. So I decided to check it out. The service was fast and very friendly. The burrito. I ordered the California one. The presentation with the jalapeño and the radish and cheese was picture worthy. The burrito was wrapped so perfect. I loved it. And the taste of everything was complex and delicious. I will be back to try some more stuff on the menu!

We were craving Mexican food after hitting the gym and decided to try something new. Cuco's is a little unassuming hole-in-the-wall located immediately next to a laundromat. There's also a tiny parking lot with a few spaces, but it can be a bit difficult to get out of. We ordered the fajitas burrito ($16) and a vegetariano con mole burrito ($15). I also added a horchata ($5.95) to try. I wanted the mole burrito because it's a rarity to find, much less a veggie version. It's a sweet mole, so I asked for some hot sauce but it didn't add as much heat as I would have preferred. I think I would have enjoyed the chile relleno burrito more, but I'll have to give it a go the next time I'm in the area. Horchata was also quite sweet, and I liked it better once the ice melted and diluted it a bit. Flavor was still good even when it's watered down! Staff were attentive and nice. They also provided us with complimentary chips and salsa once we were seated. There's a few small tables inside that primarily seat parties of 2. It's also a dog friendly restaurant as there's a couple seats outside too.

A quaint little place to satisify your burrito needs. Not the best but certainly above average. The menu is limited and you can't get sides to go with your burrito but you pretty much can get anything you want inside of it. It's weird because they obviously have beans and rice but it's not listed on the menu. Worth going to once but I won't likely be back. Like I said, it was good but not exceptional. FOOD: Really good burritos with a good amount of stuff inside of it and all very tasty. But not exceptional. A step above Chipotle but not by much. I've had tons of burritos and I could not tell you why this was better than the others. Still, if you have a craving, you certainly can't go wrong. SERVICE: Very nice. They packaged everything well and it came out to me pretty quickly. Attitude was friendly even though I had a language barrier not being able to speak spanish. Still that's my problem and not theirs. COST: Reasonable for the size of the burrito. I enjoyed the burrito very much but it wasn't exceptional.

This place is a cute hole on the wall! We've driven past many times but had no idea this restaurant was here until recently. The parking lot is tiny so just be warned but people squeeze in and make it work. The workers are all super friendly and they serve complimentary chips and salsa when you dine in which was a nice touch! I ordered the California breakfast burrito and it was good and the portions were big. The chorizo was a little greasy for me personally but I think I just ordered the wrong thing. I don't think I'd get a breakfast burrito next time but I am curious to try one of their other burritos if I stop by again!

This place has great (almost gourmet) Mexican cuisine influenced from the state of Jalisco. We were glad we asked for recommendations. We had the A La Suiza de Pollo which was a shredded chicken burrito with an amazing green sauce on top. I don't know if it was verde or avocado but it made the dish. We had the A La Diabla de Cameron which was a shrimp burrito with a creamy red sauce mixed in. This was a flavor explosion. Highly recommend both of these dishes and this restaurant overall.

The Vegan burrito was very good but needed more salsa or taste. The employees were very friendly.

I love the food I got the kids burrito because I'm a kid and it was small, but it was so delicious. I recommend this place five stars and now for the rest of my day I want the burritos from Cuco's burritos I love it. Family owned . Food has ALWAYS been fire even from the previous owner witch was family . My go to spot for burritos . Been trying to remember this spot from back in 2014 and man they never disappoint . Best burritos in the bay for reals

First, the women at Coco's Burritos are awesome, the establishment is clean, and the food is superbly presented both dining in and to go. The restaurant is small so many people opt for to-go. I've always loved their regular asada burrito -- just beans, rice, meat, salsa, and cilantro + onion wrapped in a incredible tortilla. They also have great breakfast burritos with the meat of your choice. Totally worth it but they're closed Sundays. I give this a definite Five (5) star rating for this women owned and operated restaurant.

This place is crazy delicious Came through on a work trip looking for some vegan burritos, and fell in love with them and the vegan tacos. The burrito is lightly toasted on the grill, making it ever so slightly crisp on the outside, and the inside is filled with a traditional mix and incredible salsa. Everything tastes amazing (including the salsa that comes with the chips). The mango juice is freshly "squeezed" (nice and thick!) and the Jamaica (hibiscus) drink is a nice deep red. Staff here is super friendly and fast, and the ambiance is cute. There are tables both inside and out, which helps if you come here on a lunch break. Been here 3 times already on this trip and can't get enough

Gald that this place still serves their Mole Burrito which can be made vegan as well. Not many places in the bay which have a vegetarian / vegan mole sauce or mole entree option

We had the California Burrito w/ steak and al pastor tacos w/ spicy sauce. The ingredients are fresh and the burrito was made really well but it was lacking any sort of flavor or spice. The seasoning on the al pastor was also too sweet. I'd probably ask for extra sauce next time. Service was otherwise great! They provide chips and salsa if you dine in.

This is an honest 5 star place. Fantastic restaurant that blends the line between affordable taqueria and upscale restaurant food. I drive across the bridge for this place! The love put into the food really isn't rivaled at or above the price point.

I love this place!!! My co worker had suggested we try Cucos and I'm so glad we did!!! The food is fresh and full of flavor, salsas are amazing, the staff is always friendly and I'm always greeted with a smile and amazing service! The camarones a Diabla is my favorite burrito and they have breakfast burritos all day!!!! 10/10 I've already had it for lunch twice this week

Burrito was ok, a little small and I didn't like the paper wrap and case. Just give me foil and chips (for free). Flavors and spice was there at least.

My boyfriend got me the burrito a la suiza and it was extremely salty. The horchata is the best and flan was really good but the arroz con leche was a bit mid. Overall....overhyped.

I just wolfed down a sizeable carnitas super burrito from Cuco's, and I can confirm they live up to the hype. It was a very good burrito. You get three options, mild, medium, and spicy. I went with medium and it was a tiny bit spicier than I'd prefer so next time I'll just go with mild. Service was very friendly and there's a small parking lot next to the restaurant.

Hole in the wall! So happy my bf brought me here after the gym. Employee was friendly and welcoming. We had some questions on a breakfast burrito, as we didn't see them on their walk menu, she handed us a paper menu. That had everything listed, all ingredients too. Opt for the paper menu, if you're first timers like us. We ordered the Californiano breakfast burritos. My bf got his without cheese and sour cream. We chose medium salsa. If you want a kick, get spicy according to my bf. Medium was more added flavor than spice. It looked like a salsa verde. These burritos were bomb! I want to go back already. Every bite had a lil bit of everything. From our pictures, you can how full these burritos were. I couldn't close my hand around it. I ordered their cafe de olla and it is a must and a favorite. Usually, places can't balance out the flavors. You can get more cinnamon or piloncillo but theirs is well-balanced and strong. I could actually taste the coffee in combination with the piloncillo and cinnamon. $14 for burritos and $6 for the cafe.

2nd time in Cuco's. I made a deliberate effort to eat here because I've missed the food so much. Service is always excellent. The ladies are wonderful. It was a rainy day and we have our doggy with us. So we sat outdoor This time, I had to order the la Diablo de Camaron again. No regrets! I wanted to try the tomatillo mole, so we had the la suiza de pollo. Excellent! The tomatillo mole is perfect for my taste. Just the right level of tartness. The chicken is juicy and flavorful. The salsa is awesome too. I can't rave enough. I just wish there's more Cuco's in South Bay!

Bomb.com tacos. Sweet ladies working in the restaurant. Got three different meats and all are delicious chicken was especially good.

I don't yelp often, but when I do !! Hands down best Mexican food in town. Amazing service, music, and decor. There's a parking lot in the back of the restaurant. Don't let the lack of parking on the road fool you. Stop in and experience it for yourself.

These ladies are onto something. If they wanted to expand their business, they could do it easily. They made our burritos fresh to order. So glad I was finally able to get a breakfast burrito, chicken super burrito and quesadilla.. loved the creme.

We ordered the vegetarian burrito with mole sauce and ate it too fast to take a picture. It had freshly-cooked veggies, and was clearly made with love. The mole was perfectly seasoned and checked all of the boxes. It was so good that it created new boxes and checked those too! Their salsa with chips was also fire. The ladies working today provided the best service we've had in years, and they were just truly kind. We went in with high expectations and can report that we were absolutely blown away. What a great place with wonderful people!

We stayed at Redwood City on Saturday night and were looking for local vegetarian food on Yelp and found Coco's Burritos. My wife order two vegetarian tacos. I ordered 1 Chile Relleno burrito and 1 vegetarian taco. Both foods are very delicious.

Another fantastic burrito extravaganza! Shrimp fajita burrito and the mini breakfast burritos are awesome. Grilled chicken taco is really good. I really like taco's corn tortilla, it's a sturdy tortilla not flimsy that will not break apart at the worst moment when you're in taco heaven. Cheers to burritos!

I've been looking for a good breakfast burrito place since I moved to the area and decided to check this place out due to the great reviews. Got the Californiano breakfast burrito (without beans) and it was delicious. The only thing I didn't love were the onions that I'm guessing were part of the potato scramble. Other than that, it was great and you can tell it was made with love. This location is small and hidden in an industrial area with a small parking lot in the back. It's ran by three of the sweetest women so we love supporting a women-led business.

Wow, delicious burritos! Amazing service as well. This is a small, locally owned place in Redwood City. Hole in the wall, and I almost passed by when I was looking for it. I wasn't expecting much, but I was blown away. I ordered a mole burrito, and it was so so flavorful. The chicken was tender, and the tomatillo mole on top was the perfect blend of tangy, salty, and slightly sweet. I'm definitely coming back to try more. Small parking lot in the back and street parking. I came on a Saturday afternoon, and I easily found street parking.

Dang, Bay Area is really sleeping on this place. I don't even post reviews and I'm writing a review. This is a really good breakfast burrito. Every bite was delicious, nice and warm. Just the whole restaurant experience was amazing. We ate in and they provided complementary chips and salsa. The plating was simple and beautiful. Service was fast and they were super kind. I don't eat much so only able to finish half. My boyfriend finished his but at 3/4 of the way said he was really satisfied and didn't want to leave any left. Parking and getting to the restaurant is a little tough due to the construction going on. We arrive around 10:20AM on Saturday morning and it wasn't busy. Only one other customer before us. They have a small parking lot. I just really like this place. Lol.

I ordered the Super California Al Pastor Spicy burrito - juicy, flavorful, delicious & filling! Very fast & good service - it was a nice day, so I sat outside at the cute tables under the umbrellas and La Reina came out right away with crunchy tortilla chips and house salsa and a chilled bottle of ice water. Comfy, casual, great meal.
