Dinner out on a Friday night. It is a little place with limited seating, but packs a big punch. Your order at the counter and take out is obviously very popular. I ordered La Diabla de Camaron, as a burrito bowl and my husband ordered 3 tacos. Spectacular food! All fresh ingredients and made to order. We ate on the patio and it was fantastic. I will definitely come back when I am in Redwood City again.

Googled “best” burrito in Redwood City and Cuco’s popped up so I drove by to try it out. The place looked very clean the vibe was good and the review were great so I was looking forward to taste their product. Rep was very friendly and suggested a couple options. I had it to go and was looking forward to having this “great burrito”. Regrettably, I was very disappointed. ;/. The green sauce that covered the burrito was extremely infused with garlic! After a couple of bites I couldn't taste anything else!!! Now a day later and I’m still tasting garlic!! And I’ve brushed gargled rinsed several times trying to get the garlic taste out of my mouth!!! Ugh! Now for the burrito itself… the burrito was 2/3 tortilla … all I tasted aside from the garlic was the flour tortilla!!! . 1/3 was composed of the beans, cheese, and what appeared to be extremely thinly sliced beef (like what you would have in a shawarma). I was constantly looking for the protein!!! Soooo disappointing! Overall, google got it wrong on this one. Nicest burrito staff in Redwood City I would def agree BUT “BEST BURRITO” absolutely not. I would not go back to this place. In a city inundated with Mexican restaurants especially in the middlefield area the competition is fierce… I don’t see having much trouble finding a better place.

Great burritos, loved the Al Pastor pork... and they have a vegetarian menu and a vegan menu! The vegan tofu al pastor burrito (!) was super flavorful, and they had a bunch of other vegan protein options. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will totally be back to this one. Most definitely check it out if you are vegetarian or vegan. Best vegan burrito I've tasted yet.

Great Mexican food carefully prepared with quality fresh ingredients. Chimmychuga, Burritos, super or regular & in bowl. Great food and people. Nice outdoor patio. Parking is tight. You won't be disappointed with the food or the service.

This is by far the best burrito I have ever eaten. Even though I ordered the fajitas through Uber Eats, the food tasted so good. The steak, shrimp, and chicken were all juicy and tender, and the beans were fresh as well.

O.M.G. THE MOLE SAUCE. IT IS SO GOOD! I don't even like mole sauce much, and the things I would do for this mole sauce... I don't know why they gatekeep the mole sauce to the vegetarian burrito, but I really wish they had it for the non-veggie burritos too! I basically forced my husband to get the veggie burrito with mole sauce I could "share" it with him. I got the carne asada burrito, and it certainly was no slouch. BUT WITH THE MOLE SAUCE?! It's sooooooo good! The ladies in the restaurant were all super friendly, and they gave us chips with salsa on the house. It looks like they do this for everyone, so no need to order chips with salsa. The small seating area was empty when we arrived, but it filled up fast! It was super busy by the time we finished eating, to the point that people were eating outside in the cold. If you're near Redwood City, you'll have to give this place a go with the mole sauce!

Had a carne asada California burrito and a Diablo (shrimp burrito). Both were very fresh tasting and not as oily as other Mexican places. The to-go orders were very neat and had toasted tortillas which I really enjoy. The California burrito was ok, I would prefer the fries to be more fried as they were a bit mushy and didn't have that crunch that I was expecting. I think it was missing some sauce with a bit of kick. Nothing else to really write home about. The Diablo was unique. It had a special Spanish rice that was a bit spicy and the shrimp really added a juicy flavor that I really enjoyed. Definitely would get this again. Overall if you like a less greasy Mexican place I works recommend the Diablo. Not too spicy but definitely interesting. Will have to come back in person at some point!

My boyfriend and I found ourselves in Redwood City and knew we had to have some Mexican food while there we found Cuco's yelp page and gave it a go. We both ordered super burritos crispy. While we waited for our burritos we were surprised with chips and salsa at our table. The burritos were made to order and super good. Fresh ingredients and not greasy! We loved that! Can't wait to go back! Also the place was clean well kept and organized.

This place is the place to go for burritos in Redwood City! I was driving by in the area and was craving burritos so I got a Ahogado De Carnitas and a California burrito and it was so delicious. I couldn't stop eating the California burrito. I really enjoyed the flavor and I didn't even need sauce for it! Also the chips and salsa here is a must, the salsa is so flavorful! Overall had a great experience getting the food, the staff here are so sweet and it's also good for dine in too!

Parking lot was a bit tight with only a few spot for 7-8 cars. Maneuvering outside of the parking lot can be a bit tricky. Outdoor seating is located in the back of the establishment. Yet the food is worth effort! Carne Asada was flavorable and filling. Honestly was only able to finish half the burrito. Can't wait to try more of the menu!

My family and I just went to eat at cucos burritos. I got a vegan burrito (sooo delicious and packed with avocado!) we got my toddler a mini burrito (so cute!) and my husband got a burrito de nopales. We also got cafe de olla. Everything was delicious. The service was also amazing. Everyone was so kind and attentive. We live in Santa Clara but will definitely be making the drive back

I have ordered here many times through DoorDash. The food is always good and the delivery is always fast. My toddler especially loves their kids burritos and horchata. I picked up in person today and as pleasantly surprised at how clean and efficient they were. This part of Middlefield is kind of a mess when it comes to parking but they have a pickup parking spot on the street AND their own parking lot. As a Redwood City local who has lived here 35+ years, I love this spot and it will continue to be my go to.

There are so many flavors to pick from! We ordered 3 different burritos and shared. Portions are huge. Great flavors, leaves you wanting more. PRO TIP: Check their hours, they close early.

Probably one of the best burritos I've ever had in my life. Strong opinion but this place is better than anywhere SF and the Mission. Got the A La Diabla De Cameron with refried beans added and ooooomg. The rice was perfectly cooked, shrimp was AMAAAAAZING and not rubbery at all, the sauce was sooooo delicious. This is my new go to spot here in the Bay Area. Honestly have never had a better burrito outside of my old spot in San Jose that closed down. 10/10 by far. The reviews don't lie. Service is amazing too and the ladies were super nice there. Inside of the place is very clean, great outside seating and perfect weather make this a go-to spot. Parking in the back as well but I parked on the Main Street. TRY THEM!!!! You will NOT regret it.

Friendly warm staff with the best burritos in the Bay area, yep I said it. Camarones a la diabla burrito is what I ordered just about every single time I drop in. I have also ordered their chicken burrito which is equally as amazing. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by the staff, you order your food pick a table and chips and salsa along with water is immediately placed on your table. Always a great ambiance and experience is positive and enjoyable. I 100% recommend to friends and family. Cheers!

Loved these burritos! Got the aporreadillo which contained carne seca, Spanish rice, beans, and eggs. This was super flavorful! We also tried the Suiza de pollo burrito. The chicken was flavorful and it was nice it was topped with cheese and tomatoes. Loved the sauce it was drenched in. I ordered this to go. They have a unique variety of burritos!

Yum! Heard about this spot from a friend...it was delicious. We ordered super burrito and quesadillas. My kids ate everything. I really liked the complimentary salsa and chips and the burrito was delicious. I'll be going back for sure.

I enjoyed my chicken quesadilla and my husband really liked his seafood bowl. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice add. I probably wouldn't splurge on the agua fresca again, but overall it was good service and fresh food. They have about 6 parking spots on the backside if helpful.

I recently tried a "De Chipotle" Burrito with Chicken. I ate it in Cuco's and was pleasantly surprised to see they serve free chips and salsa when you eat there. The burrito was incredible and I would highly recommend trying it. Cuco's clearly serves a great variety of wet burritos, so eating there is probably better. The issue is eating there isn't the best experience. It is set up as more of a to-go place. Wet burritos aren't the best items to-go, so there is the dilemma. Ultimately, the food is great though and I'll be back.

I got a Cali burrito here today. It was good and the carne asada was flavorful. They stuffed the burrito so it was very large and filling. The fries were a bit oily inside, but overall I enjoyed the food. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The woman managing the place was very friendly.

Cuco's is very close to our house and we have had it in our order-out rotation for years. I'm actually surprised I haven't left a review for them yet, but here it is! I had to take my son to an appointment on a Friday and we were heading home at noon, right at the lunch rush. We stopped at Cuco's and lucked out with a parking spot in their tiny and often crowded lot. We walked in and it was bustling with activity. People sitting inside and out, eating, ordering, waiting for to-go orders, and the mostly (if not all) female staff was ON IT! I haven't been here for a bit and it looks like they expanded their menu. I don't remember the breakfast options and some of the others, but I do remember the a La Diabla de Camaron burrito. Hands down, my favorite option from the menu. The La Chimi is also great! I wanted to try something else though, and ordered the Huevos Con Jamon breakfast burrito. Like everything else I have tried there, it was delicious and well balanced. Not too much of anything, and just the right amount of everything. We dined in, and they bring you chips, salsa and a bottle of chilled water to your table while you wait. I don't know if that's new, or we never experienced it because we usually order to-go. It was a great touch. Their food is consistently fresh and delicious. Some of the best I've ever had. Time to bump Cuco's back to the top of the rotation! See you again soon. It's unique to see a shop whose name has the word "burrito". Naturally, when my family and I were craving burritos, this is where we ordered from. One of my cousins is vegan so it was perfect to see that Cuco's had a couple of vegan options. Food ordered: All items came with a side of chips and salsa. The chips were so good and crunchy and you can tell they are made of tortilla since they are thicker (which I love). 1. Chicken Super Burrito (3/5) The chicken in the super burrito was a little plain on its own if you got a bite of just that, as the flavors weren't super melded together. However, all the ingredients tasted really fresh and not salty which I feel a lot of burritos can be. Also loved that all burritos come grilled and in a little parchment sleeve. 2. Steak Super Burrito (4/5) The steak in the super burrito was more flavorful and I felt that the flavors of the ingredients melded better in this. 3. Veggie Quesadilla (4/5) The veggie quesadilla had so much flavor and the filling was savory and yummy. I'd reorder this. Overall, the food was delicious, and the chips were one of my favorites from a restaurant. The flavors tasted more clean and less spiced than other burrito places which I personally don't prefer as much, but for a solid burrito that you won't feel heavy after enjoying, this is for you. I am excited to come back to try out some other speciality items.

Hidden gem! Say this place on Instagram and decided to give it a try. Literally some of the best Mexican food I've had since living in the bay. So flavorful, fresh. Service was amazing. Would def recommend.

The suiza de pollo was very flavorful and the protein to rice/bean ratio was good. I had a carry out order so it could have been the reason the texture was a little soggy. Next time I'll try a burrito dine in without the sauce. Very friendly service and welcoming atmosphere.

Food was excellent! Got a carnitas burrito. The meat was very nice. Perhaps a little too lightly spiced but so lean and zero grease. There was a generous amount of meat. I must ask for zero cilantro so that inhibits my overall experience at times with no options for add ins or salsa but this was still quite good. Tortilla was lightly smokey thanks to the finishing char. Rice was solid and didn't even mind that the beans weren't my usual refried. Friend had a chicken quesadilla and was pleased. Again, a generous amount of meat that was tender, not greasy and nicely shredded. She enjoyed the salsas that came with it. Outside seating was very welcome as it was Very Loud inside. The food and still water was all brought out to us. The woman who did was kind enough to note they have a "hot" salsa with no cilantro. Well it was smokey and not bad but seriously not even a bit spicy. Chips were nice and gratis. All the women were friendly and patient. Parking in back was tight but available. We went around 1 on a weekday and it wasn't too busy - steady but not bad at all. Food came quickly and was just how we ordered. I - and my friend - both expect to be back. Can't quite believe I've never heard of this place until searching for tacos in Redwood City. I've already recommended it!

Been meaning to go to Cuco's for a while and am so happy that I tried it now. I got a Kearny Asada burrito and it was delicious. It was a jampacked burrito of full of flavor and meat. It also came with a side of chips and salsa. The meat was so perfectly cooked and juicy. I will be coming back for the other burritos and recommend other people to try this as well.

Had cucos for the first time recently. I had the chile verde burrito. The burrito was delicious. The rice, bean, meat ratio was perfect and the chile verde was so good. Very flavorful with just a little kick of spicy. I'll certainly be back!

Ohh wow. This was so delicious. Randomly found this after an appt at Kaiser. And I can tell you what a gem. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast burrito. Small interior with only a couple of tables. I think they do a lot of takeout. But have a nice patio outback. I will for sure be back again.

This place popped up on my search as very highly rated so I thought I would give it a try. I got an asada super burrito, it was only an okay burrito. I appreciated that it tasted fresh and the refried beans didn't taste like lard the way they do at many taquerias. The green salsa was decent. The ladies working there were friendly and nice and good customer service is always a plus. The thing I disliked most was that the cheese wasn't even remotely good or melted in my burrito, it was just cold shreds of flavorless cheese which made me dislike the entire thing. Why people are calling them some of the best burritos in the bay is flabbergasting.

I had the most delicious vegetarian breakfast burrito here. I got the nopal breakfast burrito and it kept me full all day while I went on a casual hike.

3.5 stars rounded to 4 based on the complimentary horchata for their 6th anniv. Decent flavor burrito but was sorely disappointed by the lack of protein amount inside. It was mostly beans and rice with their special sour flavor sauce.. I was touring diff burrito spots in RWC on a hunt for the best burrito and I would say this place is pretty mid for the price range. Seems all of their variable costs went to packaging and marketing vs many food trucks in the neighborhood that are more focused on value. Don't get me wrong, the flavor was decent, this place balances the need for acid with rich gooey taste of a properly stuffed burrito, what it lacks is the proportions of protein vs rice and beans. Parking is difficult, only few spots and competitive street parking. Workers are friendly and service is decent as each burrito comes with a small bag of chips and salsa. There are few tables inside the store as well as outside in the small parking lot if you want to eat there. Overall a decent spot but I would prob hit up another neighborhood food truck before I come to this place if im craving a burrito. Go try it for yourself.

Cuco's always hits the spot. It isn't really a traditional taqueria like you would find in the mission in SF, but that works in its favor. In my mind Cuco's is its own sort of niche and that saves it from comparison. The burritos here aren't huge but the ingredients taste fresh and the ratios of ingredients are on point. The breakfast burritos are awesome, though I wish they had a carne asada breakfast burrito. If you're in the area and need a quick bite, give it a try. They have good salsa and solid tortilla chips as well.

What a delightful place, with sunny outdoor seating and delicious food & drinks brought to your table. Chips & salsa, too. I had the mango agua refresca, the California Burrito, the Chile Verde specialty burrito, and they even have my favorite woman-owned pre/probiotic drinks from Wildwonder. I got to try a new flavor today thanks to Cuco's. The staff were all delightful, and I have found my new favorite burrito spot. My first visit couldn't have been better.

We were craving Mexican food after hitting the gym and decided to try something new. Cuco's is a little unassuming hole-in-the-wall located immediately next to a laundromat. There's also a tiny parking lot with a few spaces, but it can be a bit difficult to get out of. We ordered the fajitas burrito ($16) and a vegetariano con mole burrito ($15). I also added a horchata ($5.95) to try. I wanted the mole burrito because it's a rarity to find, much less a veggie version. It's a sweet mole, so I asked for some hot sauce but it didn't add as much heat as I would have preferred. I think I would have enjoyed the chile relleno burrito more, but I'll have to give it a go the next time I'm in the area. Horchata was also quite sweet, and I liked it better once the ice melted and diluted it a bit. Flavor was still good even when it's watered down! Staff were attentive and nice. They also provided us with complimentary chips and salsa once we were seated. There's a few small tables inside that primarily seat parties of 2. It's also a dog friendly restaurant as there's a couple seats outside too.

A quaint little place to satisify your burrito needs. Not the best but certainly above average. The menu is limited and you can't get sides to go with your burrito but you pretty much can get anything you want inside of it. It's weird because they obviously have beans and rice but it's not listed on the menu. Worth going to once but I won't likely be back. Like I said, it was good but not exceptional. FOOD: Really good burritos with a good amount of stuff inside of it and all very tasty. But not exceptional. A step above Chipotle but not by much. I've had tons of burritos and I could not tell you why this was better than the others. Still, if you have a craving, you certainly can't go wrong. SERVICE: Very nice. They packaged everything well and it came out to me pretty quickly. Attitude was friendly even though I had a language barrier not being able to speak spanish. Still that's my problem and not theirs. COST: Reasonable for the size of the burrito. I enjoyed the burrito very much but it wasn't exceptional.

Got a takeout with them. Their seafood or shrimp quesadilla or quesadilla da la Diablo, is tasty and served with large portion. It'd have been better without adding too much hot sauce. The spiciness had overtook the seafood taste. The iced horchata latte is a bit too sweet and not quite authentic.

Everything. I enjoyed everything. I randomly found this place on yelp on my way to work and kinda liked the presentation in the pictures and it had good reviews. So I decided to check it out. The service was fast and very friendly. The burrito. I ordered the California one. The presentation with the jalapeño and the radish and cheese was picture worthy. The burrito was wrapped so perfect. I loved it. And the taste of everything was complex and delicious. I will be back to try some more stuff on the menu!

YUM. This place has the best burritos. This review is only for the food. I was craving take out one day and decided to Door Dash and found this spot was open for breakfast. I ordered the Huevos Con Chorizo Burrito and it was bomb. The texture of the tortilla, the flavors of the chorizo and egg with the fix in's. YUM. I can't really speak on the service there because I did not order inside the restaurant. But for the food, I would say they're good. I mean the name is Cuco's BURRITOS lol so I think they're known for that. I would order here again and definitely wanna try their other items to see if they're just as bomb.

This place is a cute hole on the wall! We've driven past many times but had no idea this restaurant was here until recently. The parking lot is tiny so just be warned but people squeeze in and make it work. The workers are all super friendly and they serve complimentary chips and salsa when you dine in which was a nice touch! I ordered the California breakfast burrito and it was good and the portions were big. The chorizo was a little greasy for me personally but I think I just ordered the wrong thing. I don't think I'd get a breakfast burrito next time but I am curious to try one of their other burritos if I stop by again!

This place has great (almost gourmet) Mexican cuisine influenced from the state of Jalisco. We were glad we asked for recommendations. We had the A La Suiza de Pollo which was a shredded chicken burrito with an amazing green sauce on top. I don't know if it was verde or avocado but it made the dish. We had the A La Diabla de Cameron which was a shrimp burrito with a creamy red sauce mixed in. This was a flavor explosion. Highly recommend both of these dishes and this restaurant overall.

First, the women at Coco's Burritos are awesome, the establishment is clean, and the food is superbly presented both dining in and to go. The restaurant is small so many people opt for to-go. I've always loved their regular asada burrito -- just beans, rice, meat, salsa, and cilantro + onion wrapped in a incredible tortilla. They also have great breakfast burritos with the meat of your choice. Totally worth it but they're closed Sundays. I give this a definite Five (5) star rating for this women owned and operated restaurant.

This is a GREAT mexican hole in the wall restaurant. Prices are reasonable and the food quality is terrific. After you order and sit down, they bring you cold water with chips and salsa for free. The staff is so friendly, they want to make sure you are a satisfied customer. Just a terrific mexican restaurant!

This place is crazy delicious Came through on a work trip looking for some vegan burritos, and fell in love with them and the vegan tacos. The burrito is lightly toasted on the grill, making it ever so slightly crisp on the outside, and the inside is filled with a traditional mix and incredible salsa. Everything tastes amazing (including the salsa that comes with the chips). The mango juice is freshly "squeezed" (nice and thick!) and the Jamaica (hibiscus) drink is a nice deep red. Staff here is super friendly and fast, and the ambiance is cute. There are tables both inside and out, which helps if you come here on a lunch break. Been here 3 times already on this trip and can't get enough

Gald that this place still serves their Mole Burrito which can be made vegan as well. Not many places in the bay which have a vegetarian / vegan mole sauce or mole entree option

This is an honest 5 star place. Fantastic restaurant that blends the line between affordable taqueria and upscale restaurant food. I drive across the bridge for this place! The love put into the food really isn't rivaled at or above the price point.

I love the food I got the kids burrito because I'm a kid and it was small, but it was so delicious. I recommend this place five stars and now for the rest of my day I want the burritos from Cuco's burritos I love it. I definitely recommend it. and the service was so kind. and it was so clean inside.
