Cucuruchos Boutique Hostel

Nice new hostel with good facilities. The staff are lovely and everything is nice and clean. Each bunk has a light, socket, locker and curtains which is nice. The kitchen is well equipped however I don't think it is available to guests until 10am after breakfast service. My only criticisms would be that they've just tried to squeeze a bit too much into the space here meaning between the beds there is little room and the bathrooms are very small. This place seems to attract a lot of couples and whilst we were there, there wasn't much interaction between the guests, although guests and atmospheres do change very quickly in hostels so this may not be typical. Overall my stay was pleasant and I would return.

Staff were super friendly. Breakfast is good given that it's included and unlimited. They brought banana bread from one of the best bakeries in Antigua which was nice. I loved that I was able to schedule my bus shuttle to the airport with them. Super clean place and I was amazed by how much they were able to fit into tiny rooms. I loved the privacy that the curtains/structure of the rooms provided for me.

Lovely hostel in a great location with free breakfast, good WiFi, free dessert at 5, cute rooftop and is super clean. Each bed has a light, outlet and cloth partitions to give you some privacy. Hot water showers are a plus but as other people have mentioned...it’s like a really small closet and there is only one hook to hang your things on. They are really dedicated to keeping the hostel clean which means they start cleaning the rooms an hour before checkout...wasn’t too thrilled to hear a vacuum being used on the bed above me while trying to sleep in.

I stayed at the hostel for 4 nights and I was impressed everyday that I was there. The staff are so friendly and helpful the beds are amazing with plugs, light and privacy curtains on all of them. Breakfast is made fresh by a lovely local lady that is so sweet. The best part was the roof terrace it was something special. The views are spectacular of the surrounding volcanos. See photos....... If your looking for a more grown up hostel then this is the place, very clean and has great security. Tip: check out the great restaurant next door...

Fabulous hostel (more like a hotel). One of the best I have ever stayed in! The staff are so lovely, a very nice change from some of the places we have stayed in Central America. Phoebe (staff), has been so kind and accomodating, it's like staying with a friend! She has been so helpful, especially if we encounter any problem. Plus unbelievable buffet breakfast, free cake at 5pm, very clean and great showers. Can't wait to visit again!

The hostel is remarkably clean and spacious, checkin staff were extremely helpful for recommendations around town as well as suggestions for tourist activities. The rooms were tidy, lockers were excellent and the blackout blinds were a bit plus. Showers had amazing pressure and perfect water temperature. Hostels location was perfect!

One of the nicest hostels I have ever stayed in. There are amazing views at dusk from the roof terrace. The dorms have a high number of occupants, and the bunks are triple decker, but each bed has walls on three sides and a curtain at the end so you still get privacy. There's also a fan, light, and power point for each bed. Nice sturdy lockers which can be secured with your own padlock. Only complaint is that there isn't much floor space to access bags. The free breakfast buffet is great, and the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Staff was extremely nice and very helpful. Hostel was very clean with (I believe) sheets changed daily. I'm so glad I got a bottom bunk because top bunk in one of the rooms is quite tall. Almost scary tall. Light and outlet with little shelf in all bunks. Breakfast wasn't the best I've ever had, but acceptable. Would stay again just because the staff. Specifically Gaby and Sergo.
