"On the border between Corrèze and Lot, this charming 19C manor house has been completely renovated to create a light-filled, stylish restaurant. The ceramic apples hanging from the ceiling evoke the orchard (as well as the vegetable garden) that the restaurant cultivates nearby. Youthful chef Oscar Garcia (stints at Franck Putelat in Carcassonne and La Table d'Uzès) skilfully crafts seasonal dishes with a touch of creativity, using produce sourced from within a 100km radius: trout with green beans, blueberries and peanuts; veal from Corrèze cooked two ways, smoked eel, raspberries and Dubarry cream. Five cosy guestrooms are available upstairs. Simpler options at lunchtime." - Michelin Inspector

"Its name is the French word for the act of picking fruit — a fitting image for a food-and-wine-focused hotel in the Dordogne valley. Its five rooms are all unique, each one named for a different flower; while the forms of the original architecture remain, they’ve been made over in a colorful modern style, and equipped to a boutique-luxe standard. The hotel’s owner, Oscar Garcia, is an award-winning chef, and his cooking, arguably, is the reason for Cueillette’s existence; ingredients are, for the most part, grown (and picked!) in the hotel’s own gardens and orchards." - Tablet Hotels
We had lunch here today. Everything about it was exceptional and exceeded expectations. The food was exquisite, the service excellent, and the ambiance perfect (calm, warm, welcoming). A wonderful experience. Thanks to the team at Cueillette!

We enjoyed the mid-day meal on a Wednesday and it was superb. Every course was inventive, beautiful and delicious, the meal was very well paced, and the service was both friendly and excellent. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. Merci, Cueillette!

Weird. Seem only to be able to review rooms and not the restaurant. No matter. This is a Michelin star restaurant so all I am doing really is reviewing the Michelin inspectors. Three of us had lunch and we think the inspectors got it right. Big space so noise is at a minimum. Not only is the food a feast for the eyes but the flavours are sublime. Slick, attentive service. Not a lot of English spoken but we lived with that. After all, we are in France. Amazing to find such a restaurant out of the way in rural France. For what it provides it is very good value.

We have recently enjoyed our annual dinner to Cueillette, and as always, nothing was left to chance for the highest quality dining experience ever.
The food, wine and service are justifiably Michelin Star quality, and we will continue to visit every time we are back to France.
Many thanks to Oscar, Julie and the whole team.

We had a superb lunch in a very nice restaurant beautifully decorated. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was just delicious. And the presentation was top. We really enjoyed every moment. We managed to leave the restaurant with half a loaf of succulent bread, offered by the kitchen.
A very great experience we had.

Superb meal of modern, light cooking. Excellent use of local ingredients from the pottery and linen to the ingredients for the expertly crafted dishes. Service was efficient and professional and incorporated the chefs in the delivery of dishes. Sergio Garcia and his young team are making waves here! Thank you very much for a memorable occasion.
