Genuinely authentic and great price. Fresh made mozzarella and bread. It in the food flavor and in smell of that bread in the air! Oh! Order and order again like we did. I don't typically give 5 stars but this for me is 5 stars. Can't wait to keep coming back.

Even after 15 years, since my college days in 08-10’, Cugino’s has been and will always be the BEST place for fresh Italian sandwiches in my book. From the meats, bread, ingredients… it can’t compete with anyone else. I ordered the #1 in the menu. It’s only right! The family has always been nice and friendly. I think, it’s the New York in them. And the fact that they got a 7.7 speaks volumes about their 🍕 Definitely worth trying. I expect for this joint to be successful in the next decades to come. 🤌🏻

Google
The people working were nice but the pizza was some of the worst I’ve had in a long time I couldn’t even finish. I got melanese I don’t even know what the meat squares were. The Greek salad was the best thing I ate and it was basic. The pineapple and the jalapeños were out a can, not what I expected from an authentic Italian place. They may be good at some other things but this New York Style pizza ain’t it. I’ve had NY pizza this pales in comparison. I hate to give poor reviews but this is bad and I eat a lot of food. It’s not even late no excuse the cheese , the sauce, the crust is what the kids call mid.

I’m part Sicilian and how I was treated today, is NOT how culture treats people! The older guy with white hair, was rude and unprofessional. I’m sorry you’re having a bad day, but DO NOT TAKE IT OUT ON CUSTOMERS! Your menu prices do not reflect the updated prices! I’m charged for a small drink and 1 slice. According to your website, which is why I stopped to begin with, says $2.50 slice of Sicilian, $2.50 small drink. Unless it’s the new math, with tax it should only cost, $5.42! Not $7.25! I did not authorize any other charges nor tip! $1.82 difference for what? Didn’t even answer me and walked away. Highly unprofessional! I will not come back and will be sore to let everyone know how deceitful you’re being. If in fact your company changed the pricing, YOU MUST UPDATE your business website to reflect current pricing, because it is misleading! Others have had issues in the past as well, but I will be sure to advise my following on social media. Have a blessed day

Google
We went in with a big group. We found it through “One Bite” app with David Portnoy. The people were friendly, great customer service. The food was so tasty. I think Dave saying best pizza in Vegas was an understatement. Best of the best.

Google
This is the best Pizza I've had in Las. Vegas, this is an Italian Delhi. With homemade sausages and meatballs and mozzarella. This will be my family's go to Pizza. Place from now on, the service was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It's a shame. It took me so long to find this place. I'll be back monthly at least..

Freddy was so kind and hospitable. The food is absolutely amazing. Prices good! Big portions. We will be back!!

Nowadays you can't find anything old school or authentic. I assure you that I just found my childhood. Who would have known a small but mighty Italian Deli would be down the street from where I work. This Deli, is exactly like the one my grandmother and I would visit to get a fresh delicious Italian style sandwich. I am so very pleased with the #2 Italian sandwich, and pizza they had to offer. It was absolutely delicious! I ate every last bit and I am stuffed! I can't wait to bring everyone here! 👏👏👏

Yelp
Definitely on my top 3 go to pizza spots. The cheese is of good quality, the crust, insane. Do yourself a favor and order delivery, sit back, and watch a movie. I promise it won't disappoint. No crust left behind, that's how great it is.

Yelp
How I wish they had a location on the Southwest side of Las Vegas. It was recommended to us by a friend and we are sooo happy they did. Not only is Donnie such a great guy, his sandwich "The Donnie" is one of our absolute favorites. Top 10 sandwiches in Las Vegas, for sure! We also love their pizza, it's delicious and piping hot! We love getting the cheese pizza and the pepperoni.

Yelp
Delicious food that is prepared quickly! Don't expect anything fancy in the interior because it's a literal deli. I walked in here with 7 coworkers for lunch and we ALL enjoyed our meals. We each got something different and really, REALLY liked it. It's also very reasonably priced. I had The Godfather which is a sandwich with thinly sliced fried eggplant, fresh mozzarella, lettuce, roasted red peppers, and balsamic vinegar. I also tried the fried zucchini which was delicious. They take your order at the counter and then bring your food out. No other service - like I said, don't expect anything fancy, just really good food. We will be back!

Yelp
Business's always try to update and revamp themselves with the times and trends, but Cugino's has kept its authentic and timeless persona and menu through the times. You walk in from the streets of Las Vegas to a deli straight from New York. Quality pastas, meats and cheese for purchase surround the store. I highly recommend getting the Italian number two cold cut sandwich, A perfectly plain, clean and high quality sandwich. Grow up a little, a good sandwich doesn't need all the sauce and gimmicks to cover their poor quality meat and ingredients.

Yelp
I absolutely love trying out new hole-in-the-wall Italian joints. This place has great reviews, so we stopped here before our flight back home. Wow, what a disappointment. I ordered the chicken parm sub. There was way more bread than meat (strike one), there was not enough cheese (strike two), and the chicken was dry and VERY chewy (strike three, you're out of here). My wife had the Italian sub, which to be fair, came out better than my sub, but wasn't anything special. I also ordered a cannoli. I've had cannolis from a lot of different places, and have often bought the ingredients to fill them myself, fresh at home. Believe me when I say that this cannoli was nothing special. I'd say this restaurant was a fitting end to our time in Vegas, a bunch of hype that did not deliver.

Yelp
Nothing new about Cugino's, but the same great homemade food. Today we tried Grandma's pie, and Wedding soup, and ordered a small cheese pizza for the teen. It was amazing, as always! The soup was so simple, but very delicious- like my mom makes them. The cheese pizza had the same great crust, consistency' and the same fresh taste. The grandma's pie is a great homage to their homemade sauce, with you being able to taste each of the beautiful tomatoes, hint of garlic and basil. It's a must try! But just keep in mind that grandma's pie takes a while to make, so try to order it ahead of time, and make sure you're ready to wait for the deliciousness. Today was so busy at Cugino's, which makes me feel so good because this locally owned family shop deserves all the business they get. They're all so friendly, helpful, and make sure you enjoy the food they are serving you! Love me some Cugino's. It always hits the spot, and becomes a place where our teen enjoys being around us!

Yelp
We moved away from Las Vegas 34 years ago and while visiting this weekend my kids wanted to see our old apartment and it happened to be located just a few blocks from this amazing deli & pizzeria. I was looking for something in the are and saw the great reviews for Cugino's. We had to give it a try and I'm so glad we did. Walking in the smelled great like you would expect from a great deli. It is a cute little market with a nice deli counter and selection of premium meats. I found a San Danielle prosciutto that I wanted to take home but at ten pounds and $26.99 a pound I didn't think my wife would be happy with me! For eats I had the rigatoni bolognese which was fantastic. I think I make a great bolognese but after this I may start making something different. It was that good. My wife had the spaghetti with sausage and she said it was delicious. My son and daughter had sandwiches that looked great and were really big. They ended up taking half of their sandwiches to go. We also shared a couple of canoli that were close to the ones we got in New York. Sadly I live over 1750 miles away so coming back may not happen, but I'm pretty confident I will be able to find some great delis in Chicago!

Yelp
I love a good old school Italian Deli and Cugino's is definitely one. It is located near UNLV and they sell sandwiches, pizza, Italian specialty items (pastas, sauces, desserts). I usually get a salami and provolone sandwich. Sometimes, mortadella - depending on my mood - but I know I can get one here and it will always taste fresh. They also have a classic Italian tripe stew which I really love and don't see very often in Vegas. The service is only over the counter but friendly and they have some tables for dine-in.
google avatar

Kris B.

Yelp
This was a great little place for lunch and the mortadella in my sandwich was awesome. I really enjoyed the sandwich and the cannoli was perfectly crispy and the filling was to die for.

Yelp
I've only tried pizza here and it was ok. Nothing to brag about. Definitely wouldn't compare it to NY style pizza. I know the owners are from Ny. I felt like the prices were expensive for the pizza which seems to be on the smaller side. They did have a variety of other deli foods which I will have to try next time I go. They do make you pay for refills on fountain soda. Ambiance is fast paced like a New York pizza shop.
google avatar

Yelp
The service was amazing here. The guy who took our order was friendly and patient while we reviewed the menu. When he brought out food out he figured we were sharing and brought an extra plate. The food all tasted fresh and homemade. The Italian sandwich was fresh, they were generous with the meat and the bread was nice and soft. The garlic nots had the perfect amount of garlic on it and their pepperoni roll thing's were so delicious. The prices are budget friendly. You don't normally find fresh Italian food for these prices! All of this plus 2 drinks was 32 bucks. They also have fresh sliced meats and Italian groceries you can buy. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
After over 10 years since our last visit, of course we had to stop by while in Las Vegas. It's still the same. Nice, traditional Italian deli. Great stop for a quick lunch or some food to go.

Yelp
Everything was delicious!!!! We got the chicken pizza, chicken Parmesan sandwich, and garlic knots. The pizza crust was thin and perfectly cooked. The pizza was flavorful and fresh. The chicken parm sandwich was amazing as well and the chicken cutlet was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The mozzarella cheese was also fresh and melted perfectly. The garlic knots were also super flavorful and flaky and buttery. The service was amazing and fast. The ambiance was also cute since it's a family run deli. It has a small town feel. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5

Yelp
The cugino special sandwich is mind blowing good. One of the best ones I've had, absolutely delicious. Even the bread is perfect: soft inside and crispy on the top. We love coming here for lunch. And it's very fast service!
google avatar

Yelp
Pizza and garlic knots were delicious! Also got to try their cannolis and ice cream and it was all great. Plus it was all very affordable!

Yelp
OMG! It's taken me many years living in Las Vegas but I have finally found my favorite pizza in town. With a perfect crisp crunch and just the right amount of cheese, these guys are serving up some of the best pies I've ever had in my life. And on top of that they also have an amazing tasting spicy sausage, called the raging bull sandwich that I highly recommend, just know that it's a little spicy. Everyone that we spoke to here was extremely friendly, and the ambiance of the deli is just perfect. I feel like I'm back in the northeast, and I just walked in to a bodega down the street. I have sorely missed that feeling and I'm so glad I found this place... now if they could just build one closer Summerlin. lol. I can't wait to go back. Great job guys and thank you.
google avatar

Yelp
Best Italian deli in the city. HANDS DOWN!! The pizza is soo delicious and melt in your mouth amazing. I always get the cuginos special sandwhich with prosciutto and mozzarella and balsamic dressing. Soooooo delicious. They have a full deli inside where you can get boars head meats and cheeses, a deli counter full of antipastas and Canolis and olives etc. This place is always busy! They are always so nice and really know their Italian ingredients. It's small inside and they have about 15 places to sit and eat. They also sell all types of authentic Italian ingredients such as pasta, and tomato sauce and olive oils! Definitely a try if you're close to UNLV.

Yelp
Loved the vibe of this place the minute you walk in. We ordered over the phone and once you walk in you'll find two older gentlemen working at the front, one at the counter and one on the side working on the pizza, not sure if they're brothers but you could tell they were Italian and gave you the Hollywood vibe of retired mafias working hard for a living now lol Anyhows , as much as I loved the vibe, the food was just okay to me. We got the Cugino's special pizza, ham and cheese calzone, and mozzarella sticks. To start, the mozzarella sticks did not have that stringy cheesiness to it. The pizza was good, the best dish out of the three that we ordered, the sauce, the crust, the ingredients goes perfectly. The calzone was the interesting one, portion-wise it was definitely large enough to feed a grown man, but the cheese inside was a little over the top. I took two bites and as I passed it on to my wife to try, oil started pouring out from the center, we tried to pour it all out and got a whole puddle of grease, I get it, there's a lot of cheese so that's where the grease comes from, you get what you order I guess. But as I got to the center, the overload of cheese started getting to me, I had to scoop out a whole bunch of the cheese to be able to finish the crust, and I love cheese so that really shows how much cheese there was that I got greased out by it. Service was great but I'm still sitting here with the greasy feeling, would go back for the pizza but probably not the calzone.

Yelp
Good service, good people, good food. What else could you ask for. The local New York family has been giving its love to Vegas for over 30 years and it's like traveling straight to the BX pizzeria. However it's far more than just a pizza spot. Do you a favor and stop by....Or&UCK@ out of here!!

Yelp
We had reservations at Ferraro's for Valentine's Day, but we canceled because the prices seemed inflated just because it's half written in Italian. Vegas prices for average food. We had been wanting try Cugino's for a while and we're so glad we did. One Bite rates the pizza a 7.7. Look, the pizza is an 8 based on smell alone. My God. I don't know what a 10 is but this is up there. We'd give it a 9. We got the Fresh tomato and basil pizza. Before even pulling the bite away from the slice you get all the flavor from the fresh basil, parm and garlic oil. The cheese is nice and pully on each bite and it's not too greasy. We also got the meat lovers pizza and a "side" of meat tortellini which were also great. I work close by so on nights I don't feel like cooking I will be bringing home pizza and other entrees from this place. TRY THIS PIZZA
google avatar

Veronica G.

Yelp
Uodating from my first review...This place is always 10/10! I have been coming here for years and it is always amazing. I always get the Cuginos special cold sandwich and it's always fresh. I have tried their pizza as well and that's delicious. The customer service here is great and they are always so friendly ! They have a deli area with homemade sides and I can't wait to try them all. I highly recommend coming here!
google avatar

Yvonne C.

Yelp
Finally made it to Cuginos and so glad we did. Pizza was fantastic, garlic knots flavorful and cookies were yummy! Will definitely be back! Highly recommend! Definitely one of my favorite pizza places now!
google avatar

Yelp
This has to be the best Italian Deli and Pizzeria. It's definitely doesn't disappoint. Sandwiches are delicious and pizza is delectable. Cannolis have the perfect crunch and great tasting filling!

Yelp
Authentic Neapolitan pizza with an Uruguayan touch. It's our go to pizza close to UNLV, Airport and my office. Usually order with garlic and meats including Capicola (soprano gabagool)
google avatar

Dominic P.

Yelp
I grew up in Pennsylvania before moving to Vegas in 2017. Safe to say, it is hard to find authentic back home Italian food places like back home in Vegas. This place reminds me of home. They are from NY and they get delicious pasta products in from Brooklyn. I have tried their manicotti and Cavatelli Also they have a fantastic deli to choose from too. My personal favorite is their hot sausage links. They go great in sauce with pasta or if you want to make a sandwich! Great place to go and have a meal too! Everything is delicious from their pizzas, to sandwiches to chicken parm!
google avatar

Aimee L.

Yelp
Still gold after all these years. My parents moved from Vegas a long time ago but I'll always be grateful for the time I had to discover where the locals go. This is one of those. It's magic what they do with eggplant... I learned that they're liberal with the salt though so be wary. The rice balls might be perfect or a heart attack waiting to happen. I avoid those now and stick with the pizza or the sandwiches. This last time I got an eggplant parm and a broccoli rabe with grilled cutlet. The rabe was solid but that eggplant! I'll be thinking about it until my next visit.
google avatar

Nate G.

Yelp
I always stop by when I'm in town for the best Italian deli in the city. Great variety, service, and the food is delicious. Whether you get pizza, a sandwich, or traditional Italian, it's all delicious.
google avatar

Patrick S.

Yelp
my friend and I was craving for some Italian food, and stumbled upon this place. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and the cashier recommended to get the combo with the drink, since it was cheaper. my friend also got the eggplant Parmesan sandwich which also looks great. this is a pretty cool spot. It also had a mini supermarket to buy products great place to eat. I'll be back again.
google avatar

Audrey I.

Yelp
We received our to-go order shortly after ordering. I liked the vibe and will probably being dining inside next time. The food was good, I was a little disappointed that the balsamic glaze was put on the bread instead of the tomatoes/cheese. It was absorbed into the bread and it left very little flavor and the sandwich was a bit dry because of it. The tiramisu and garlic knots were the highlight of my meal!
google avatar

Blake B.

Yelp
Best pizza in Vegas hands down. The guys running the show were also phenomenal in helping my group decide what to order and then providing excellent service when we needed it. Not to mention, when you enter the restaurant you feel like you're in an authentic New York deli with everything the same quality as it would be actually in New York. I highly recommend Cugino's, just make sure you order at least one cannoli, it's the best cannoli I've ever had.
google avatar

Laura G.

Yelp
This has been my go to place for Fresh house made Mozzarella - it's really fantastic, normally Mozzarella is except in Italy - theirs is some of the best I've had in the states. Grabbed a simple slice (traditional cheese), 3 Mozzarella balls and others goodies to go. Everyone that works there is Italian - this place is a gem!

James M.

Yelp
Although the food has received great ratings, the staff has little, if any knowledge of their Italian pastries. I visited today asking if they had Italian Almond Pastries. The employee looked confused. He pointed to the pastries and said, "We have these regular cookies and these other regular cookies." I felt like I was speaking to a kindergartner at a school bake sale. As you already guessed, I did not buy any pastries.
google avatar

Kris K.

Yelp
This is a small Italian deli that has the best/freshest mozzarella & it makes all the difference. My favorite is their meatball sandwich. This is a go to place for me & my coworkers. Definitely a must try!
google avatar

Ken G.

Yelp
We found this gem by accident after attending a UNLV graduation ceremony. WOW, we were very impressed with the authenticity of this place. I grew up in NY/LI and lived all over the US and had great Italian food. Cugino's is definitely one of the best. My wife, son, and I had a slice of pizza, the eggplant parm, philly cheese steak, and the chicken parm. They were all phenomenal! You really feel like you're in a NY deli!! About 15 minutes from the strip.
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
The food is the star of the show. Everything is cooked to order, and perfection. The pizza, fried ravioli, and pasta, are worth the wait. Nothing like a mom, and pop business, that appreciates your business, and cooks who know REAL ITALIAN FOOD! Grandma's pizza is my favorite. It's pricey, but WORTH IT!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Being in Vegas for more than a few days can provide a lazy day where casual dining is a welcome respite. Or a late morning wakeup can melt into a lunchtime roll out of bed. And, all you want is a place full of flavors and carbs; where a baseball cap and sweatpants is proper attire to get a table. There are a few favorites just minutes from the strip that fits this description where I get the satisfaction of a tasty meal, without the high $$$ of a casino restaurant and the need to look put together for the judmental sunglass crowds seated before you. The place where I want Italian American faves in an one stop shop is Cugino's Italian Deli & Pizzeria. This is a super casual business right by UNLV. It is a mini Italian market, deli, neighborhood pizza joint, sit down eatery, and sweet shop all in one. I am a big fan of the cheese ravioli with meat sauce (special request), fettuccini alfredo, pizza with meatball, arincini the size of a softball (deli case, heat up by request), and cannoli (very well made). We order togo, so we haven't done sit down, but it is like a neighborhood piazza joint with slide in bench table seating and a few square tables for smaller parties. The service is welcoming and relax, so it was easy to pop in and order... then go off for a quick errand and return with everything ready. I love businesses like this and definitely would be a reg if I lived in LV.
google avatar

Sammi S.

Yelp
The pizza was good, HOWEVER I ordered delivery and: - Special requests (side of ranch) were not acknowledged - My $12 "Caesar salad" was a small box of lettuce with no dressing My overall experience: Taste was good, but not great. I could find a better pizza for less, and will be doing so next time.
google avatar

Lisa W.

Yelp
Saw great reviews on this place and finally tried it. SO GOOD! The pizza crust is perfect, chewy and crisp at the same time. Writing this review makes me want some right now! It's a deli with fresh Italian meats and salads too. Also got a delicious risotto ball and garlic cheese bread plus 2 drinks for less than $40. Such a deal.
google avatar

Mayo M.

Yelp
Was visiting Vegas and in the mood for an Italian sandwich... felt like I hit the jackpot with this place! Has an old school traditional Italian deli vibe... counter service, seat yourself at tables or booths. Had the Cugino's Special and a slice of cheese pizza. Pizza was east coast.. gives off a very authentic NY Vibe. Sandwich was spectacular... Italian bread, prosciutto, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, and balsamic vinegar. This will be a regular stop for me every time I'm in town!

Robert V.

Yelp
Cuginos used to be a couple of time stop for me Every week. It started going bad when the Mother was working. Being a family business you need to be friendly all the time. She set The example for the family. Never a smile never a hello . I have other friends that are local . They won't go back either. If you go to this restaurant bring your Air Pods. they won't speak to you anyways! Time for a makeover !!
google avatar

Jason M.

Yelp
Amazing little spot, very friendly, the pizza was very very good!!! They also sell some great stuff if you like to make pizza at home, also features a pretty big Italian menu. So glad I found this place!!!
google avatar

Bill T.

Yelp
Before I begin my review, first let me say I am Italian, and lived 35 years in the NYC metro area (which arguably has some of the best Italian food outside of Italy). I ordered 4 Cannoli and a tiny box of cookies (that had about a dozen very small cookies)....Price was $37!!! Needless to say, that price is ridiculous (even higher than some of the best places in NYC). Also, the Cannoli was very disappointing (the cream was not thick enough, and it was also a little bland)....although the cannoli was not horrible, it's average at best, and certainly not worth the prices they charge.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is simply great authentic Italian food, a genuine piece of New York pizza and deli in Vegas. Food. I personally love their meatball sub. My wife has tried a variety of items including salads subs, delicious garlic knots and cannoli! Service: let me be upfront. If you are not used to New York Italian you may have to get used to the fact that these men are all about the food and they are easy to deal with but they are super busy and while having somewhere to sit think takeout with the convenience of seating and you will love this place. Being a former native New Yorker I really appreciate the way they do things. Ambience: Authentic New York Deli Pizza place feel always clean and full of things to buy to take home. They simply are the best at what they do!
google avatar

Kurt L.

Yelp
Excellent sandwiches. Great source for Italian ingredients such as house made ricotta and mozzarella, Italian sausages, cannolis. Pizza oven cranks out lots of good looking pies. Good looking pasta dishes are popular. Family owned and operated. UNLV supporter. V

Yelp
Finally an Italian delivery that didn't disappoint! We had : Pizza w sausage : Thin full of flavor Linguini w clams: Hubs loved it Chicken parmigiana & Eggplant parmigiana: great ! My fave: ham and cheese calzone wow Cannoli delish Tiramisu delish Can't wait to try their sandwiches!!!!

Yelp
Top 3 pizza spots in the whole city. Very good pizza but cannot say the same about the customer service. A lil rough but all in all delicious NY style pizza served daily.
google avatar

Adam K.

Yelp
I'm always on the hunt for great pizza especially outside of NY as it's even a more amazing find! Cugino's checks all the boxes! When you walk in it has the feel of a Bronx or Brooklyn Italian deli including grocery options of pasta, canned tomatoes and even Brioschi! The classic cheese round pie hot out of the oven was fantastic! As a native NYer, I eat a great deal of pizza all over Long Island and the city. I will drive miles to get a great slice and if I lived in Vegas, I'd be here very often! The crust is a perfect NY style crust that had a great undercarriage and held up when put to the Portnoy firmness test. The cheese is fresh and most likely Wisconsin Grande if I was a betting man (VEGAS pun). The sauce is a light slightly sweet sauce that works perfect with the slice. As a bonus, I had a cannoli which was excellent! I had a Manhattan Special soda which I wonder if anyplace else in all of Vegas would have, doubt it! As I told one of the guys behind the counter, this place is awesome!

Closed on Mondays, Yelp is wrong. I don't get why people don't update their hours. Generalized laziness.

Food used to be good here. I don't know what I haven't seen the old man Freddy in awhile now. Must have a new person making the pizza. Has barely any flavor now. Italian sandwich was okay, just not the same as it as before.

Yelp
Top tier place for pizza. I love the lunch special. Two amazing slices and a drink for under $9? Sign me up all day. I go for the cheese pizza as it's the best I've had anywhere on the west coast.
