Culaccino - Review - Downtown - Nashville - The Infatuation

"Franklin’s repaying us for all the restaurants we’ve sent its way with a second location of its favorite Italian restaurant, Culaccino. You’ll find it in the Nashville Yards, along with the same tried-and-true hits of the original— fresh pastas and wood-fired pies using a 72-hour fermented dough. Unlike the Franklin spot, there’s ample outdoor seating at this one, and an option for private dining." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Culaccino – Yards We visited the new Culaccino location in Nashville and loved it. We’ve been to the Franklin location before, so we already knew the food would be great — and it absolutely was. The attention and service were excellent, and everything was delicious as always. This is one of the very few places where I actually eat pasta, and it never disappoints. The only thing to keep in mind is that they charge a 3% fee if you pay with a credit card. I hadn’t experienced that before at a restaurant, so it was a bit unexpected, but overall the experience was still wonderful.

From the start, the ambience was great, service attentive, and food wonderful! The pear salad and the chicken sausage pizza stood out. Parking is validated for 2 hours in the east garage. Service was exceptional!

Culaccino (and additionally Culamar, their seafood concept) has been a local favorite down in Franklin for almost five years. This Tuesday, you can visit them at their new location in Nashville Yards, just across from The Pinnacle. We were graciously invited to join them Saturday evening for their Friends & Family soft open and I was honored to attend. Unfortunately, we've had some sickness in the house this week. While I am feeling much better, my bride is still under. Fortunately, Sofia, our 11 year old, LOVES pasta and was stoked to join me for dinner. If you've been, you already know how good this place is. Scratch-made pasta, wood-fired pizzas, house-crafted appetizers, all made with the finest local ingredients. You can literally taste the heart in every dish. We were welcomed warmly by a few hosts/greeters/seaters as our table was being prepared (we were a touch early) and introduced soon after to Erin, who couldn't have been more hospitable. After being ushered to our seats (some of the best in the house if I do say so myself), our server, Noah, was prompt in welcoming us and going over a few things for the evening. Service from Noah was exceptional. You may know him from V Modern most recently, or maybe from Wild Ginger. If so, you know the service standard he brings. It was top-tier; he was present without being overbearing and instinctively anticipated our needs. Watching other servers in our immediate vicinity leaves the impression this is the norm, not the exception, but I won't hesitate to request Noah in the future. I failed to grab a picture of the receipt, but everything we ate plus one cocktail and one glass of wine was just $117 before tax and tip. And we left absolutely satisfied. Not bad for dinner for two in Nashville if you ask me. With what is increasingly becoming a plethora of Italian options in Nashville, Culaccino Nashville lives up to its name. A Lasting Impression indeed. See you again soon, friends. Saluti! 🥂 #FoodiesOfNashville

Popped in here for dinner while traveling solo for a work trip and had a great experience. I was surprised to find out they’d only been open for about a month because it seemed like everyone knew exactly what they were doing and it was running as a well oiled machine. I popped back in for a few drinks a few nights later and had an awesome time being served by Sam who was extremely friendly and willing to indulge my questions and custom drink requests. The gnocchi was really good, hit the spot. It was hearty and full of flavor, perfect for a cold evening. I ordered the ricotta appetizer which ended up being different than I expected, but was really good. Essentially fried ricotta with red sauce. Too much food for 1 person! The complimentary bread with house made whipped ricotta was super good. Should not have ate it all before the other two dishes, but that’s how good it was, couldn’t stop. The espresso old fashioned they have on menu is very good, personally I recommend adding liquor 43 for a touch of sweetness. Enjoyed all the drinks I had from the menu and their wine. Great spot for Italian in Nashville. If possible, sit at the bar so you potentially have the opportunity to chat with Sam.

Our waiter Noah was awesome! Helped us pick our menu items to order and always ensured our glasses were never empty. We live down the street & were so glad to finally check out this TN local spot. I want to come back again to try a pizza!

We stopped into this new Italian spot at Nashville Yards just two days after opening, and it did not disappoint. We sat at the bar and had outstanding service from Brian—his espresso martini was one of the best I’ve had, and every cocktail he made was spot-on. He also had great recommendations, which says a lot for a brand-new restaurant. Fantastic food, excellent drinks, and amazing bar service. We’ll definitely be back!

I came here on a whim and I’m so happy I did! They opened a week ago and everything was delicious!! I asked for recommendations from some of the staff and they definitely were on the nose with the meatballs and gnocchi. They were both fantastic and I was so happy w my food. My waitress, Roxy, was delightful and made me feel so comfortable! Altogether a wonderful evening, I can’t wait to come back!
