"Irish pubs are plentiful in Jacksonville, but one with ample outdoor seating is Culhane’s Irish Pub. Both locations of the restaurant have a spacious deck where guests can enjoy pub classics like fish and chips, bangers and mash, and corned beef and cabbage." - Megan duBois

Google
A Consistently Great Experience at Culhane's Irish Pub Culhane's Irish Pub never disappoints, and our recent visit was no exception. This marks our 10th time dining here, and each experience has been just as enjoyable as the last. Our server, Jamie, was attentive and personable, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Jamie recommended the mussels, a recent addition to the menu, and it was an excellent suggestion. The mussels were absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection in a rich, creamy sauce that had us scraping the bottom of the bowl. Be sure to order the big pretzel on the side—it’s the perfect companion to soak up that incredible sauce. Overall, the food and service at Culhane's have been consistently top-notch, and it's easy to see why we keep coming back. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, you can expect a warm welcome, great food, and a memorable meal.

Google
Really nice locally owned restaurant. Food is really Irish and delicious, plus the prices, especially in the era of inflation, are extremely reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Irish music on Sundays.

Google
The food, drinks, atmosphere, music, and everything else are 10 stars. Our server Keith was outstanding. Checked on us just enough to make sure we had everything we needed. Also, the lady that greeted us (I did not catch her name unfortunately) was super sweet about us coming in earlier than our reservation time. Loved it! Thank you so much for having us!

Google
One of the OG Diners Drive-Ins and Dives places and it's definitely worth the trip! The Lynda's Rueben Eggrolls are out-of-bounds as Guy would say...a rueben sandwich stuffed into some wonton wraps...mmm. The Guinness Beef Stew has got to be the best I've ever had. Big chunks of beef, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms in a rich, thick flavorful stew. The Grilled Cheese and Salad special was Terri's choice (she also sampled the stew and eggrolls) as she's not as adventurous in her food choices. A great Irish Pub with great servers and plenty of tv's on the walls to keep up with the sports world.

Culhane’s is truly a gem of an Irish restaurant that delivers both charm and incredible food. From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel right at home. The service was outstanding—our servers were genuinely kind and attentive, making sure everything was just right throughout the meal. The highlight of our visit was definitely the food. The fish and chips were cooked to crispy perfection—light, flaky fish wrapped in a golden crust that was both satisfying and delicious. It’s a classic dish done exceptionally well. We also tried the burger, and it did not disappoint. Juicy, hearty, and topped with sweet candied bacon and a smoky BBQ ranch, it was packed with flavor in every bite. It’s the kind of burger that leaves a lasting impression. Culhane’s is the perfect mix of comfort, great service, and top-notch Irish-inspired fare. We’ll absolutely be returning soon to enjoy more of what this wonderful establishment has to offer.

Google
I wish the star system allowed greater than 5/5 to represent service that is above and beyond. Enticing menu and swag!! We were thrilled eating the potato leek soup, Irish sausage puff pastry appetizer, Fish and Chips, and Reuben pubsandwich!! I wish there was a Culhane's close to home, but we will drive here to enjoy and come again!!!

Google
They took great care of our group when we came through for an event. Very attentive, super friendly and personable. They replenished food when necessary and were quick to replenish drinks as well. I don't know how to compliment the service and attention they gave to us enough!!

Yelp
One of the OG Diners Drive-Ins and Dives places and it's definitely worth the trip! The Lynda's Rueben Eggrolls are out-of-bounds as Guy would say...a rubber sandwich stuffed into some wonton wraps...mmm. Yelp
service is always good - quality always repeated and pleasant atmosphere. I usually rotate through the menu - always hit the spot. A plus is you can get your Guinness on tap nice and cold.

Reko R.

Yelp
The Scottish egg was great , with the sauce I would recommend giving that a taste , also anything Ruben related is great I love the egg rolls personally but that sauce hits the spot absolutely5 star's

Yelp
I truly love this place. I always get the fish pie but waitress recommended shrimp and grits. It was delicious! My friends got fish pie and fish and chips. We enjoyed everything. We split bread pudding for dessert. It was just ok. The sauce was really good but the bread pudding itself was lacking something. Service was great and our waitress was very helpful. It does get super loud so it's difficult to have a conversation.

Yelp
I checked out Happy Hour at their Atlantic Beach location recently. The bartender Rikki was very welcoming and engaged with all of the bar patrons. I ordered the 5 Sisters Lemon Drop shot, the pub pretzel with beer cheese, & the Atlantic fish bites. The pretzel & cheese were good, the shot was great, & the fish bites were excellent! The fish was soft and flaky, and the breading was light and perfectly fried. The tartar sauce that came with was very lemony which is right up my alley. My usual at Culhane's is their Bangers and Mash but I would happily order this fish if it was on the entree menu!

Yelp
Ever had one of those nights where you need an Irish fix to cure a craving? Culhanes is definitely the place to go. Their menu is loaded with all types of Irish food that would make a leprechaun give up his pot of gold to eat there. Started off with a black and tan and a Scottish egg. Both are great. If you've never had a Scottish egg... now is time to try one and culhanes is the place to go. Then to finish the night is a rueben with tender and juicy corned beef. With a side of coleslaw. Great service from Leeann..... she took care of me very well. Girl deserves a raise! Definitely will return when Irish craving comes on strong.

Audrey A.

Yelp
I'm on a mission for the best corned beef hash, and guys, so far this is it! I am not a fan of canned corned beef, and Culhanes is the real deal. Their mix of spices is the perfect balance - none of them overpowering the other. And the ratio of potatoes to corned beef was just right. They were generous with the amount of corned beef hash making this a very filling breakfast. We also ordered the craic garlic chips, which is a plate of deliciousness that I always get when I go to Culhanes. So evil, but so good. I can't speak to the other dishes flavor, but was told they were good. Everyone left with full and happy bellies. Best part was the service. Leanne you're amazing!

Ayesha F.

Yelp
If this is what fish and chips are like in Ireland, I must get there fast! This was the best fish and chips I've had--like ever. Everything was cooked to perfection. Crisp batter, fresh and flaky fish filets, sides and condiments, and draft beer were the perfect companions. Thanks to Brian at the bar, this was a lovely recovery spot to get a good meal and soak up a little liquor from last night. Brian provided exceptional service from start to finish and remembered my name, all while greeting and serving other patrons - true Bartender! There was plenty of seating at the bar, perfect for most party sizes. After a few not-so-great experiences at the SS location, this will now be the one and only Culhanes that I go to in Jax; it just can't be beaten!

Brendia T.

Yelp
So where do I begin....! We started off with excellent lemon drop shots while we studied the menu. Since this was our first time visiting, we're ordered traditional dishes of corned beef hash & Dingle stew. They were both fantastic! I'm So glad I perused my yelp "places to visit" list & selected this gem of a locally owned restaurant for the Irish/ Guinness experience! We'll definitely be returning soon!

Alison K.

Yelp
We were greeted and seated within 1-2 minutes max. I was immediately overwhelmed by the awesome ambiance that lends a homey feel but also one of comfort and interest for new and different things! I'm more than used to British fare and Irish food as well. My father's family is Irish and so is my husband's. Can't say much after admitting your mother in law's maiden name is Fitzpatrick. We may have grown up here in the states, but there's certain things you're traditionally fed that keeps you informed of the traditional flavors of the "old country". Since it was also my husband's first time here, he also got a free "lemon drop" shot. It's 5 Sisters Vodka, Triple Sec and fresh lemon juice with a lil bit of sugar on the rim. Wowza! Excellent!! I ordered a plethora of appetizers based on various reviews and knowing what he and I would like best. I ordered us the rueben egg rolls -- DELICIOUS! -- the sausage rolls -- SIMPLY AMAZING -- and a Big Sis Pretzel (for the hubby and LOVED it!). For dinner, he ordered the Kyle's Fish N Chips (spectacular!) and I ordered the Blarney Lamb Sliders (just awesome flavors in each bite!!) with a small "crock o' stew" on the side so I could try what all the hype was about! My husband absolutely almost licked the bowl clean (he said it was the best thing he had tonight--I beg to differ) and we ended up taking home some of "Paddy's Bread Pudding" with the accompanying vanilla sauce but minus the ice cream since it's about 70-80 mile drive home and I don't think it'll stay that cold in my jeep lmao!! Despite the fiasco of my husband dropping his drink and almost throwing it on me in the process, soaking my phone, food, side of the table, shirt and shorts, I have to say it was one of the (rare) best times we've enjoyed somewhere! Glad we came here to the original location close to Atlantic Beach. Our waitress, Chloé, was excellent. Laughed at our jokes, offered us good options for appetizers, drinks, food, and dessert! Talk about welcoming and personable...I don't know how it is at their other location, but this one is phenomenal in all ways. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. I simply don't think you could go wrong with anything they have on their menu. It's so different from the normal fare offered practically anywhere. The closest we've come to such awesome food in a warm, homey pub atmosphere was the one time we were able to go King's British Pub out on A1A closer to St Augustine. But even THEY can't compare to what we just enjoyed tonight...sorry...but Culhane's has them beat hands down. Everything from shrimp tacos to Angus burgers to shrimp & grits and don't forget the amazing cocktails made with the owners' brand of vodka (5 Sisters)...you will surly find something to quench your appetite and your thirst. We also got to meet Dennis, the manager, who was doing bartending when Guy Fieri was here last...he was so wonderful to meet and talk to! He said he did like this big show with flaming bottles and all that, but all they showed was like 5 seconds of him leaning across the bar . Lol Happens to the best of us...but he is a great manager if tonight was any example of his leadership here. Color me very very impressed all 'round. Do yourself a favor and try one of these gems...they've got the two locations...you will most certainly be satisfied!

Yelp
We tried Culhanes for the first time the other night and generally enjoyed it. We went for the food, this is a pub, and so I can't comment on the drinks. It felt like a typical American Irish bar, and the service was great: attentive, informative, courteous, and prompt. We started with Nana's Sausage Rolls and Mary's Cauliflower (baked and in Buffalo sauce). The rolls were salty and very flavorful: the cauliflower too salty to eat. The Pot Leak Soup and Crock O' Stew (small portion of Guinness Beef Stew) were good. Good enough to order more stew to take home, but a little salty. For entrees we had Corned Beef N Cabbage (pictured) and Kyle's Fish N Chips. I loved my corned beef, although it was salty (because corned beef is brined). The folks who had the fish said it was moist, with a good batter, and, uh, salty. So you've noticed a trend here. We were eating in a pub, and pubs are known to be heavy with the salt because salt makes you thirsty and thirsty people order more drinks. Except for the cauliflower, the food was very good...and salty. If you're going just for the food, be forewarned. If you're going to drink as well, then no problem, right?

Yelp
If you are going to claim the best fish and chips in Jacksonville then it better be good at least. Well it wasn't. Two pieces of fish came on top of bland mashed potatoes that I subbed for french fries. Each piece of fish was a different color, one light brown, and one dark brown and look burned. The skin fell off the fish immediately and the second brown piece ultimately was inedible. The tartar sauce was thin and had a heavy dill flavor. I almost thought it was ranch. the potato leek soup just looked like a bowl of cream, and it had a weird twang to it. It almost looked like they just wanted to extend the life of the soup and added more cream. It looked nothing like the pictures on yelp. Talking about going here for a while and sadly I'm never going again. I felt like I wasted my money. Metro diner has better fish and chips.

Yelp
It's been a long time since I have been to this Culhanes location. We came in on Saturday night around 8:30PM and just in time for karaoke. Since we realized karaoke was about to happen we started off with Baby Guinness shots and made sure to check in too so we got our free Lemon Drop Shot. Like I said we were going to get sucked in karaoke we needed these. We also of course had to get some snacks when we were here too and went with Nana's Sausage Rolls and Karen's Scotch Egg. Nana's Sausage Rolls are always a good to for us since they are just so damn good. They are Irish sausage, puff pastry, baked, served with hot mustard and I can't get enough of that mustard. I gotta ask if they sell it. The Scotch Egg was also good but I do prefer a soft boiled egg which I know isn't the traditional way but again it was still good. For those that don't know a Scotch Eggs is a Boiled egg, Irish sausage, panko, champ, demi gravy, hot mustard. I will say beer is pretty pricy here and our server was telling us it was about $20-$25 for a pitchers even though I thought I saw pitcher specials at the door but who knows. Will for sure continue to stop into Culhanes when I'm at Atlantic Beach since it's always a great time.

Erin M.

Yelp
Been in a couple times first time had a lovely Sheppard's pie and this last time the Cobb salad with a burger patty (it was a low carb night!). Both times the food was good, the drinks fairly poured and the tab reasonable. The ambiance is typical Irish American good time pub. Overall a great time!

Alicia H.

Yelp
To quote my boo, "this place is great I completely forgot that we are in a strip mall." And that's the honest truth. Culhanes decor, but more the vibe and local feel, makes you want to stay at this pub all day all night. Food is always delicious and wonderful comfort good. I had a hankering for shrimp & grits and I am so glad I ordered it- it was delicious. Loved how cheesy the grits were in addition to the slightly spicy cream sauce. Shrimp were plump & numerous, and the extra mushrooms & cherry tomatoes were a nice treat. My friends enjoyed their reuben sandwich & some wings. I've ordered the bourbon salmon before as well which is excellent. Our waitress Maggie on Friday night was awesome- very welcoming, pleasant & attentive. Our party of 5 was lucky to walk in & score a booth- anytime I'm there it's pretty busy & there's lots of tvs to watch sports.

Diane H.

Yelp
LOVE CULHANES!!! Best Irish Pub anywhere!!! And we love our Irish Rose !!! From your super fans at St Paul's!!

Jim V.

Yelp
What an amazing place. All the food was just delicious. Service was amazing and the ambience just perfect. It has a great separation of a restaurant side and a bar side depending on your mood/preference. Definitely a must try if you're in the area.

Ian C.

Yelp
Great Irish food! Owners are sweet. Go for a nice pint if you are in the Irish mood! Love the fish and chips

Karen B.

Yelp
Go for the Guinness. I wish I could recommend the food but like my mom always said, if you haven't got anything nice to say don't say anything at all.

Gabriela K.

Yelp
Culhane's is one of those places that never disappoints, no matter which location you are visiting and time Or day of the week. Visited this past weekend for Saturday brunch and it was delicious. One of the things I want to praise them for the most is their customer service. Their wait staff is so nice and they literally go out of their way to answer to every question and always have a smile on their faces. We sat outside and enjoyed a nice meal, I ordered the sampler and it was delicious, the wings were so crispy and the sausage wrapped on puff pastry was the bomb, they served it with plenty of sauces which was the cherry on top. We also tried the chicken and biscuits and it was tasty and moist, as well as the spinach Benedict which was super creamy. Overall a wonderful experience as usual. Can't wait to go back

Andie P.

Yelp
Some places are the go-to spots when you want good food, drink and service. So often you don't realize how much you just "expect it to be there" until it isn't. Thank goodness for Culhane's still being there. Linda's chicken (with malt vinegar), a scotch egg and a Brown Eyed Girl. I also recommend weekenor brunch with the Benny O Day, little crispy taters and strong, hot coffee served up by a wonderful staff that have become friends.

Brandon F.

Yelp
This place is very fun and the food is a comfort food for me. A snake bite and Scotch Egg are a fantastic start. The service was great, everyone was very friendly, and I felt they were always attentive. I've been now maybe 5 times and will always stop back in when I am in Jacksonville.

Ronica C.

Yelp
Service was horrible! We came on Saturday at around 2:45. There was hardly anybody here and our server from the start was less than enthused. She was basically dragging her feet on every single thing. She took my parents' order and I was sitting across the table and she was getting ready to walk away without taking my order. Another waitress was the one to bring us all our food and she just showed up every 20 minutes or so and said "need anything?" My mom asked for a lemon drop martini, she ordered her a shot then proceeded to tell her that there's no difference except the glass. When my mom asked her to take it off the bill, she didn't say anything just grabbed the glass and walked away. My Dad's fish and chips were severely over cooked- we didn't say anything. Now, I'll say, my mom mentioned her drink kindly and we weren't complaining about everything and anything- we were very kind the entire time. We were not being THOSE customers. The entire time our server was just annoyed and bothered by our every request. She only looked happy when it was time for us to leave. Not my first time visiting but it will be my last. We got the game day platter, fish and chips, burger, drunken cheesesteak, and roast beef. Lot of money spent for the poorest service I've seen in a long time. I won't drop the servers name here but I'd be happy to share with the owners.

Fabu L.

Yelp
The service was the quickest I have ever had! It seemed like we had barely told our waitress the order and they were bringing it out. And bringing it hot hot hot. The Big Sis Pretzel was so hot we had to wait to eat it. This is also the only place that has offered me the option of no to light to heavy salt. Loved it and loved the crisp on the pretzel with the buttery soft interior. The stew was indeed all it was advertised. I would have loved more beef and way less mushrooms because I am such a meat lover. My husband loves the tender flakiness of the salmon and the on point non-salty seasoning. The fish pie was creamy and well made. And everyone ate the fabulously meaty and seasoned chicken tenders. The half and half Guinness was my first try and it hit the spot!! All in all a great way to spend a birthday meal in a clean and well spaced environment. I've been to a pub in Ireland and this place definitely simulated memories....except for maybe too much lighting hahaha...my Authentic Irish pub was dark dark dark and loud. Definitely will be back and trying those fish and chips.

Scott L.

Yelp
Great spot to watch sports and have some excellent beers. The place was packed for the Champions league. They also have a great Sunday Brunch.

Miriam C.

Yelp
I just wanted to give 5 stars again to my favorite restaurant in the area. Leanne made my Mother's Day so special! We made reservations for brunch today and had the best time! The biscuits and gravy is hands down, the BEST IN JAX. The salmon dip is INCREDIBLE. I also tried just a simple eggs, bacon, and toast today. So so good. Drinks were great. Staff was working so hard and well as a team. Seriously though, Leanne is what makes my experience here. She loves all her pookies!!! I look forward to coming back and having her as my server! It's not the same with anyone else! I also loved that they had flowers at the table and signs with all the reservations!

JaneAnne F.

Yelp
Had a great night at Culhanes last week. The service was outstanding... very friendly and efficient. Love the ambiance at Culhanes with an authentic Irish pub feel! There are plenty of drink options with a full bar and lots of beer and wine choices. On to the food. It was all delicious. We had a giant pretzel to start with pub cheese. Several in our party ordered fish and chips. The fish was fried perfectly and the french fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Another friend had the shepherd's pie and enjoyed it. I had the fish pie and felt like it was the best thing on the menu. We will definitely be back.

Alex S.

Yelp
First time trying this place and my only downfall is I wish I had gone sooner!! First of all Becca was amazing. We told her it was our first time and she explained SO much about the menu and made recommendations. What made it exciting too is there was open mic night!! Everyone loved it Will for sure be back and CANT WAIT to actually go for st patty's day!

Shane H.

Yelp
Great pub! Great food! Try the scotch egg before you leave! My favorite was the bread pudding! Can't wait to return!

Shan G.

Yelp
Simply the BEST! Culhane's is the spot with the ultimate comfort food in a cozy mom & pop setting. My husband loves the Kaye's Pasta Mac and Bangers and Mash. My absolute favorite is the Dingle Fish Pie - be sure to order extra toast points for it! The drinks are tasty, the service is speedy & friendly, and the food is unique and tasty. The venue is huge and also does parties. Extremely clean, as well. It's a really wonderful establishment and a wonderful family owned restaurant in the Jacksonville community.

Holly H.

Yelp
This is a frequent stop for us - excellent food, the kind my Irish Grammie used to make. Faves are the lamb sliders and the corned beef, with a snakebite (cider carpet mixed pint) or a Guiness, topped of by excellent service! Always a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The other location in town is just as good!

Joe B.

Yelp
Dined here for the first time and had an excellent experience. Friendly staff, great food, and fun trivia for the folks by the bar. Make sure to give Kaye's Pasta Mac with Smoked Brisket a try! You won't be disappointed.

Jay C.

Yelp
We love the ambiance in Culhane's. We've vised the Atlantic Blvd and Jacksonville locations. The Jacksonville location did not play Irish music, but the music they did play was still good! The fish bites appetizer was a great start. We always love the shepherd's pie...it's serious comfort food. We only make it to the Jacksonville area once a year or less, but we always make it a point to eat there at least once. Kudos to the staff and cooks!

John H.

Yelp
Huge thanks to Culhane's and Jess for doing a great job setting up food, flowers and drinks for us today. We had over 100 people there for a Celebration of Life. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. When Chef Dennis wasn't cooking he made sure the video kept everyone entertained and of course the bartenders, Maggie and Jim kept glasses full. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful it made today special for a lot of friends as we said goodbye to a brother. Thank you Culhane's!!

Kathryn B.

Yelp
We enjoyed the most fantastic Saturday brunch today! My son chose the fish and chips and I ordered a specialty eggs Benedict. For checking in we got a shot of the Five Sisters vodka lemon drop--totally amazing; we bought a bottle. Mary, our server, was just the best and the chef allowed us to order a deconstructed Reuben so we could take it home and assemble fresh for hubs (his fave sandwich). We'll be back! Update - I'd promised Mary before and after pics of the Reuben. Unfortunately, as I was carrying stuff from our trip upstairs, hubs already assembled and had it half gobbled down. Obviously, he was happy even though I didn't have a chance to toast the bread or grill the sandwich as intended. So, winner, winner Reuben dinner. Thanks, Culhanes!

Vanessa S.

Yelp
We've been here a few times. Staff is friendly, the interior is cozy and the terrace nice. The food is good and although we enjoy the place the chef consistently overcooks our burgers. Last time we pointed this out we just got a shrug from the server - not cool. If you don't want your burger meat ultra dead skip the burgers. We've tried the reuben sandwich (the onion rings are SO good) or the bangers and mash - so tasty

Jordan S.

Yelp
Great bar and restaurant. We love the Reuben, Guinness Stew, Shepards Pie, and lots of other dishes. Great drinks and mixed pints, lots of tvs for sports, trivia nights, etc. Service is always top notch & plenty of parking! check it out

Zuri G.

Yelp
Culhanes has an authentic cuisine and an excellent ambiance. Our server Brya was extremely attentive and the food was excellent. I highly recommend going here for their 5 Sisters Lemon Drop Shot. The menu is very veggie / food allergy friendly as well.

Jessica P.

Yelp
I don't give many 5 stars, only when much deserved and this food here definitely deserves 5 stars. Walked in and had the nicest host. He brought us to our table and I ordered the drunken cheesesteak and my boyfriend ordered the shepherds pie. Food came out promptly and I ended up devouring my cheesesteak because it was so good and then ate a quarter of my boyfriend's shepherds pie. Both were absolutely delicious. Restaurant was clean, well lit. Fun atmosphere and vibe, we will definitely be back often.

Rachel R.

Yelp
Best fish and chips in Jax! Love their lunch, brunch and dinner. They have a mimosa special all day every day. Their crock of stew is great on a fall day. They have nightly specials that range from curry shrimp to typical Irish food. Great portions, great atmosphere. There's a restaurant side that's quieter and has booths, and a bar side that has live music, karaoke and sports on all the TVs. Note: if you're looking for quiet the bar side is NOT the place to be!

Josh H.

Yelp
The food at this place is truly exceptional, and one dish that stands out for me is the Shepherd's pie. Despite having explored the entire menu, I always find myself drawn to it, making it a bit of a challenge to try other options. The ambiance of the pub is wonderfully cozy, with ample lighting that adds a delightful touch to its Irish charm. Moreover, the establishment maintains a high level of cleanliness, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Being there feels like being at home, and that sense of comfort is truly invaluable.

Sami K.

Yelp
Service and atmosphere were good. Ordered fish & chips, not so good. Fish was fresh but it wasn't cooked enough and the breading was very sloppy.

John H.

Yelp
On vacation needing a bite to eat and a beer to boot, decided to try Culhanes. Bianca did a great job! I got myself a Dirty Slapper Burger(yes, that's really it's name lol) and a Guinness. Everything was great! Burger was cooked the way I ordered it, juicy and the Irish cheese made the flavor pop a bit! Fries were crispy yet soft on the inside and not over seasoned. I got the Blonde Ale which was good and had a great aroma and was light, yet full bodied. There is a wide selection of beer on tap! Also wine and cocktails of course. Definitely worth a try!

Steven S.

Yelp
Took my Mom for their 84th! Said she wanted to try their shepherd's pie. We both ordered it (hers a skinny which was substantial and mine the large portion) and both agreed it was the best we'd ever tasted (and I'm comparing it to what I ate in Ireland). Fortunate to have LeeAnn as server again -- attentive, energetic and nice.

Yelp
I really like Culhane's! I first came for a Yelp event a few years ago and it gained a place in my heart! The restaurant looks nice and clean inside. It feels like your stepping into a neighborhood pub, lots of dark wood inside. There is also outdoor seating if you prefer. It is a sports bar type of restaurant though so there are plenty of TV's to watch your favorite game. They also do trivia nights and events. The service is always great, there is plenty of parking and I have never had a long wait. The food is wonderful! I have had many different things but two things I always get are the Scotch egg and the Reuben. The corned beef is amazing, my friend always gets the corned beef and cabbage because it is better than anywhere else. The sausage rolls are fantastic, the Reuben eggrolls are great, the garlic fries are good, the fish and chips are good. Seriously, everything is! I highly recommend going if you have not been yet!

Yelp
I'm on a poker trip in Jacksonville but wanted to see Atlantic Beach--hadn't seen it yet and right next door. Very nice area. You can feel the difference right when you get out of the car. Being on the beach has a lot to do with that. The service here is excellent, the place is clean, and the food is very solid. Not best burger of my life but they do a good job. Fries a little on potatoey side. I prefer seasoned and thinner but most people like their fries like this (I think). Definitely recommended if you're in the area.

Yelp
St pats -$10 cover. Good band outside but totally packed. No way you were going to get food anytime quickly. Had a drink and listened to some music outside. Band inside as well.

Yelp
I was fortunate to be staying at a hotel across the street from Culhanes. My wife and I had a bowl of their soup and fish and chips. Both we just great along with the service and ambiance of the restaurant.
