I wish I had discovered Culina Health sooner! I've had three absolutely fantastic sessions with my dietitian, Nahyeli, and every 45-minute appointment flies by—I have so much fun and learn so much. Nahyeli is truly exceptional; she manages to pack in a lot of great, personalized content while delivering compassionate coaching. She is also an active listener and responsive to my specific dietary needs and concerns. If you are looking for a licensed dietitian to help you filter through the overload of confusing food and nutrition information out there, look no further! I am learning so much about the foods I am putting into my system. Even better, I can access this wonderful benefit through my primary insurance, CareFirst at no additional cost to me! This makes the entire service such a value. The process is incredibly convenient from start to finish: scheduling is easy, the web platform is easy to use, and the care plans are achievable and presented in a user-friendly format, complete with lots of helpful resources. Signing up with Culina Health is a solid self-care action anyone would be glad they did. I can't wait to share my positive experience with more friends and colleagues! A++++++

Like other reviewers here, I am thrilled to have discovered Culina Health, where medical nutrition therapy is covered by my insurance. I've had 8 sessions so far with Nahyeli Perpiñá (MS, MD, RDN, CNSC), who specializes in IBS, IBD, celiac disease, and and other aspects of GI nutrition. She is extremely knowledgeable and practical, communicates clearly, and provides the kind of non-judgmental support I need. I feel extraordinarily grateful to Culina for the high standards it sets in selecting providers and to Nahyeli for her guidance and encouragement.

Problem solving not there....I had a situation where I had several appointments with their dietician who was very helpful. At the beginning of the session I made it clear that if the insurance did not cover the service I would not. a few sessions down the line I see a charge on my account and when I ask my dietician she said she does not handle billing to call a number she gave me. I called the billing number and they said I needed to call my insurance because they did not cover my session. Mind you I had called my insurance before all of this started and confirmed services were covered. So I call the insurance as advised and yeah...now they need a referral. I then call Culina to find out why they did not ask for a referral up front and they say oh...you skip intake form page four for insurance verification....we have no way of knowing if you need a referral or not....hence you were charged. I had had 3-4 sessions without a charge make that make sense. I feel they are not upfront or straight forward. Most service tell you upfront to see us or use our services we need a referral. I have seen some lately who ask for the referral as good measure incase the insurance changes up on them and to protect their clients. Not Culina...

I started working with Danielle D. from Culina Health in March 2025, and it has been an incredible experience. From the very beginning, I was struck by how efficient and personable she is. She took the time to understand my specific dietary needs and has created customized plans that are easy to follow and, most importantly, effective. What I appreciate most about Danielle is her relatable and easygoing approach. Our sessions feel less like a clinical appointment and more like catching up with an old friend. This comfortable atmosphere has made it so much easier to stay on track and be open about my challenges. Since starting with her, I've already lost about 15 pounds, and I feel more confident and healthy than I have in a long time. I highly recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a supportive and knowledgeable dietitian.

Danielle Daee has been incredibly helpful and gracious during my health journey. She helps me set realistic goals and find food and exercise that work for me. Danielle is not judgmental and meets you where you are at. I always leave my sessions with Danielle with plan. Danielle has made me more conscious on my eating habits. I love checking in with her to share my successes and what I’m still trying to work on. I’d absolutely recommend working with Danielle if you need someone to help you along your nutrition journey.

I’ve been working with my nutritionist Nahyeli for a few months , and the difference has been real. She helped me establish simple habits that actually stick — drinking more fluids, eating in a way that works with my schedule, and adjusting things whenever my health changes, while facing different health issues. She doesn’t give one-size-fits-all advice. She listens, reacts quickly, and makes changes that feel practical rather than overwhelming. I feel better, have more energy, and finally understand what my body needs. If you want someone who pays attention, adapts with you, and genuinely cares about your progress, she’s the one to see.

I've worked with Culina for more than a year, specifically with Paige, and her care has been incredible. Thoughtful, insightful, evidence based, realistic in terms of goals and progress, and she listens to what I'm dealing with in terms of food, exercise, and my weight. She's provided a lot of tips and advice that have made a real impact, in coordination with habits I work on on my own. I have limited experience about membership/pricing, as my insurance (Carefirst) covers monthly sessions. But the Culina platform and app work well, and their resource documents are genuinely helpful to reference! I'm glad I found Culina to work with on my nutrition goals.
