The Best Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Austin

"This casual New American chain at the Domain Northside is made for adults to have fun during happy hour, but who says kids can’t join in, too? The menu includes hearty fare like pork ribs, fried chicken, and fish and chips, and has a full cocktail bar and happy hour specials. The restaurant’s secret weapon is a covered outdoor lawn games area, complete with a ping-pong table, corn hole, and foosball. The children’s menu includes crispy shrimp, cheeseburgers, and macaroni and cheese for $10. Online to-go ordering is available, too." - Erin Russell

Loved everything about this spot! 😍 The location is perfect, and the atmosphere is lively, fun, and effortlessly cool. The drinks were on point 🍸, and I have to rave about the salmon—it was perfectly cooked and served over a flavorful bed of corn 🌽🔥. Service? Top tier! 👌🏾 Attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back soon. Culinary Dropout just became one of my new Austin faves! 🙌🏾✨

Waaahoooo! We attended during happy hour and found the entire experience thoroughly delightful. The cuisine was nothing short of exquisite. The Korean Spicy Ribs, in particular, were masterfully prepared, offering a depth of flavor that was both bold and sophisticated. The Pork Belly Nachos were equally commendable, with a judicious application of cheese that allowed the richness of the pork to truly shine. The Brussels Sprouts, though not as crisp as one might ideally prefer, were nonetheless impeccably seasoned and well-executed, presenting a harmonious balance of flavors. The service throughout was exemplary; the staff were both gracious and attentive, ensuring our needs were met with efficiency and genuine warmth. The ambiance was equally enchanting — the expansive outdoor seating and the airy, open layout of the venue created an inviting atmosphere. I was particularly charmed by the open-view kitchen, which provided a captivating glimpse into the artistry of the culinary team. Moreover, the venue’s inclusion of leisure activities such as Ping Pong, Cornhole, and Foosball lent a convivial spirit to the evening, seamlessly blending elegance with a sense of playful enjoyment. In sum, it was an exceptional visit, and I eagerly anticipate the pleasure of returning.

Probably one of, if not the most popular restaurant in The Domain, Culinary Dropout is a delicious restaurant with a wide variety of options that cater to all tastes. The setting is great, especially if sitting outdoors and they are very accommodating to dogs if you need to bring a furry friend. Our server was very friendly and they handled the situation well when it began to rain on the outdoor section. They also have a smooth check in process where they text and call if you are on a waitlist. As for the food it was okay. We ordered a burger, fried chicken, and fish and chips. The burger was solid, although it is hard to mess that up. The fried chicken was good, lightly fried and not very greasy. It came with mashed potatoes that were average if not slightly under and some cole slaw that was unfortunately not very good. The biscuit it came with however was great, fluffy and moist. The fish and chips were alright which to be honest is not a bad thing considering fresh fish is hard to come by in Central Texas. The biggest draw to Culinary Dropout is the great setting and the vibes of the outdoor section. With solid food and great service, we recommend it to anyone in The Domain who wants a casual dinner but something a bit more versatile in a menu.

Google
I like the outdoor seating here and it is usually lively. However, the food is average. Some dishes are great (roasted salmon and fried chicken are favorites), but others feel under-seasoned or inconsistent in quality. For example, the steak frites was tough and disappointing. The fries were dry and cold. For the price point, I expected a bit more refinement and reliability. All in all, it’s a fun spot for the ambiance and drinks, but the food doesn’t always live up to the hype. I’d go again — just with adjusted expectations.

The service was perfect! I loved our waitress. She was very friendly and gave us great suggestions. Service was top notch. The food was not the best ever but it was pretty satisfying. We got the Mongolian Ribs and Steak Frites. The food was lacking some flavor and it needed more seasoning and salt. For dessert we got the Banana bar mouse dessert. It was perfect! The best dessert I have had in so long. Drinks were also tasty and refreshing. Overall 9.5/10. Will be back again!

If I cooked this good I would not be a culinary dropout! I came here for a friend’s birthday and it was great experience. We especially loved the popcorn shrimp starter which was super well seasoned and came with a great sauce. I ordered the ham and egg grilled cheese with super creamy tomato soup. The grilled cheese was more egg than cheese but comforting and tasty nonetheless. They had live music and a patio seating area which made for a great atmosphere. Also shout out to our server; she was the ultimate girls’ girl and made a good experience even better!!

Culinary Dropout is a great spot to check out if you’re visiting The Domain. You can reserve a table ahead of time, but walk-ins are also welcome. The food and drinks were both solid, and the service was attentive throughout. The space is large, with multiple seating areas, giving it a lively and open feel. I’d definitely come back again!

My wife and I snuck away for a lunch date at Culinary Dropout in Austin, and holy moly, it was a game-changer! We dove into the hot buffalo wings first—zesty, bold, and packing just the right punch to wake up our taste buds. For the main event, the roasted salmon was pure magic, flaking apart with every flavorful bite, and the fried chicken? Golden, crunchy, and so darn good it deserves its own fan club. Each dish felt like a love letter to good food. Our server, Alissa, was an absolute superstar, juggling charm and top-tier service like a pro, making sure our glasses stayed full and our smiles stayed wide. The lively atmosphere and those killer flavors turned our lunch into a mini adventure. Culinary Dropout, you’ve got our hearts—we’ll be back for more ASAP!

Yelp
Starla, the restaurant manager at the time my wife and I were dining, really stepped up and helped us out when we had a situation that needed attention. She went out of her way to make sure that all of our needs were met. Along with that, we had a wonderful and delicious meal. Starla made our visit all the more enjoyable, even though she's a Longhorn and we're Wolverines! Don't hesitate to visit Culinary Dropout!

Yelp
We came to this location after a suggestion from family that lives in Austin. We were staying in The Domain because the family loves shopping there. Culinary Dropout has a cool trendy vibe with a patio that is closed in on colder days. It also very kid friendly. Troy took care of us and gave us impeccable suggestions. For appetizers, we had the Whipped Feta and Tahini Dip Hummus. This was my wife's favorite. We also had the Spicy Shrimp Crispy Rise. It was delicious. We then had the salads including the Asian Crunch Salad with Chicken Breast and Butternut Squash and Kale. Both were tasty. Finally, we had the 36 Hour Ribs per Troy's recommendation and Baked Bolognese. The ribs were amazing and the pasta was great. The service was prompt and the atmosphere was was trendy but on the louder side. The food was awesome. I highly recommend this place if you are staying in the Domain or just visiting.

Yelp
The restaurant was bust with a 30 mini wait but with 2 people we were able to sit at an available table top asap. I ordered the fish and chips. So hot, fresh, crispy, and delicious. I didn't want the coleslaw so I substituted the brussel sprouts instead. The first few bites were amazing then the rest was way too salty. My friend ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. I tried the Mac and cheese and it was delicious. Very creamy and fresh! Customer service was great. The vibe of the restaurants was neat and I loved the live music.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time here for a friends birthday. The drinks and service were fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their food. 5 stars for everything except that I didn't realize the Mongolian ribs is actually a Thai chili soup over... I think it's porridge? It's not grits. It's... like this weird flavorless mush. It was disgusting and also not advertised with the ribs. Crispy rice would have been good if they hadn't been accompanied by a half tablespoon of Thai chili sauce. It was inedible. The wagyu corn dogs were... surprisingly bad. Table next to us had a shrieking child. After about 12 shrieks they left thankfully. I ate with my bowl in my lap... so weird to say at a restaurant but the tables on the patio are these cute 'booths' with short tables. Super awkward for eating a meal. Since we had a reservation for 7, I'm surprised they gave us this... Other than that it was really great. Try the catsu chicken sandwich, it was great.

Yelp
Went here with 6 of us we made reservations but when we got there they asked if we want to sit by the bar because the table wasn't ready, which was fine we were right by the live music. Our server was nice but it took 1.5hrs to get our food, they did seem busy but not to a point where it should take that long. We just patiently waited and then the manager came up to apologize but didn't offer anything. On top of that everyone's food was over salted the cook definitely went heavy on the salt on every single dish that day.

Yelp
Location: Superb, it's at the Domain with lots of places to choose from before and after. Service: Awesome! Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and attentive Place: It's busy so get there early. It can be loud and lots of people around you. Noise level is on the loud end but you can still carry on conversations Food: Delicious!! Everything we had was great. The Brussels sprouts were one of the best prepared I've ever had. All I can say is this place was so good, we came back the next night. I was there for a conference and we would have gone a 3rd time but felt we needed to try other places in Austin.
google avatar

April S.

Yelp
Clay was our waiter and he very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. We loved our drinks and food. Patio is a great place to people watch. The only reason for the 4 stars is Clay offered to have us try a sauce before we ordered our entry but he never brought it. We also sat for a bit before he checked on us. We would visit again.

Yelp
Came in on a Sunday and waited less than 10 minutes to be sat. Had excellent service. We ordered the fried chicken biscuits and French toast and it was so good. The chicken plate had so much flavor. The French toast was the perfect amount of sweetness. We have been to the Culinary dropout in Denver and the food was okay. But the Austin location was so good. I cannot wait to come back. Well done!

Yelp
A shout out to our server, Nick. He was great. I love the vibe here and it being an industrial type of feel was a great touch. The bar is positioned facing the common area and the patio. 15 beers on tap and several cocktail options. The espresso martini was very good. Had the pastrami club and it was pretty good. Coleslaw made it a little tangy for me. The fries were not that great either honestly. I would go back for sure because as a whole everything was nice! But maybe order a main entree instead of a sandwich. Love the area this is located in! Walkable to so many shops and cute spots. The bathrooms are in a hallway in which there are men's and women's stalls and shared sink area. Pretty clean. Great experience all around.

Yelp
Over the top friendly service and delicious breakfast! I got the grilled cheese and egg sandwich, my friend got the southwest breakfast bowl which she loved. I've also been one other time for dinner and that was fantastic too!

Yelp
Came to the Dominion to shop and noticed the restaurant. It was busy and bustling and we decided to try it out. So happy we did! Our server was awesome. He went above and beyond to provide fast, friendly and efficient service. There was a musician playing great tunes. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. We ordered a few appetizers for our table instead of entrees and just shared. The brussel sprouts were absolute delicious. Perfectly crisp and nicely seasoned. GET THEM. Additionally, we got the whipped feta and Tahiti dip which was also delicious. It came with toasted bread. Super yummy! Lastly, we got a side of fries which are good as well. Drinks- they are VERY GOOD. I got the evil Jungle princess which was the bomb. I liked it so much, I got 2! Our table also ordered the wellness retreat and sangria which they enjoyed. I was weary to try this place out only because it looked so busy but all the tall tables are open seating so we didn't have to wait at all. Whenever ik back in Austin, I'm coming here!

Yelp
We had a party of 4 and got in relatively fast for a Saturday night. The food was so good! Great vibe and service.
google avatar

Yelp
5 stars for the hash bowl with slow cooked pork 3 stars for the banana bread pudding. It's so sweet and fatty. I could barely eat half of the portion. Friend chicken and biscuits were decent but the gravy is bad. Overall a mixed experience. It's 3.5 star restaurant. The place looks so cute and it locates in the prime location of Domain. I wish the food is better though.
google avatar

Jane R.

Yelp
Great casual vibe for a small group! They have the option for outdoor patio and indoor. It is a slightly loud ambiance inside. The service was wonderful and attentive. We got a variety of appetizers, all of which were delicious! The nachos were quite large and got soggy quickly, but still tasty.

Yelp
Came for brunch in the midst of Black Friday shopping and was impressed with the service and food! Everything we got was so delicious, my friend and I wanted to split two burgers and they offered to split it for us!! Food 5/5 - both katsu and pub burger were so good and definitely get them with the truffle fries!! Pub burger was so juicy and the bacon stayed crispy Service 5/5 - waiter was attentive and so kind in explaining the menu Vibes 5/5 - the patio is heated!!

Yelp
1st off, we plan on coming back. This experience was substandard in a couple areas. The food came out luke warm with cold provolone fondue. Sent it back and asked for the fondue on the side. Burrito came back out luke warm again.....When I cut into a Burrito or just breakfast food in general, especially eggs, it should not be near cold. Despit that, the food was seasoned well. The Martini was great! Coffee was very good and the atmosphere was great! I love the live music playing while we dined. That actually made this review a 3 instead of a 1. As mentioned, we'll come back give it another try.
google avatar

Kat A.

Yelp
5 stars just for Cheryse!! Great service, she's so sweet (: The spicy crispy shrimp was really good, the asian salad was a bit too salty. The brussel sprouts were pretty good too!
google avatar

Dawn S.

Yelp
I met some friends here for a Sunday brunch and we got in fairly quickly around 2:00. We got a seat on the patio and luckily got one of those half booth/half tables. Our waiter was pleasant. He even got me a new drink when I didn't like what I ordered. :) I had the breakfast bowl. I wish it was a little bigger portion. ;) my friend got the banana bread French toast and it was good. Very sweet but good. We started with the Brussel Sprouts which were delicious! We each had one drink and we all paid around 35 bucks plus tip so around 42 bucks. They was good people watching too!
google avatar

Bryan D.

Yelp
We walked in, and the staff was super friendly and responsive. We order fried chicken, a chicken Katsu sandwich and chicken noodle soup. All had wonderful flavor and was worth the price. Delicious. The service was spot on. Ali was polite and attentive and recommended adding honey to the fried chicken. She elevated the experience. The place is clean, and the service shows an added attention to detail. Excellent place.
google avatar

Yelp
The food, service, and ambiance was all incredible for our private event dinner earlier this month. We had 150+ people for dinner & a VIP section that the chef and restaurant helped curate to lift up their VIP dinner experience. Everyone really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and playing cornhole, foosball, and ping pong in the patio. Great location, very walkable, and opens up to a great open park / seating area.

Yelp
We came here for lunch today and enjoyed it! We stopped by around 3pm and were able to get seated immediately and without a reservation, which was nice. Kate was taking care of us as our server and did a fine job. As for the food, it was delicious. The wings were very good; definitely recommend them as an entree. I also enjoyed my fried chicken, as it was very tasty (so were the mashed potatoes and gravy that came with it) and had generous portion sizes. My fiancé liked her pasta bolognese as well, and the watermelon spritz NA was also a good call on her part. We will be back!
google avatar

Pamela R.

Yelp
Food - 4 stars Service - 5 stars Ambiance - 4 stars Appetizers were very tasty. We had 2 but don't remember names. Entrees for all 4 of us were good. My salmon was ordered medium rare but served medium well. Good flavor though. The baby back ribs were decent but nothing special. My friend enjoyed his duck dish very much. Wine selection and prices are decent. Patio is very nice with plenty of seating but very loud. We will return!
google avatar

Yelp
Had a team lunch at Culinary Dropout on a nice October afternoon. This place is so vibrant and there is always hustle bustle around. We got a table outdoor which was perfect since it wasn't too hot. Our server was great and help with recommendations. I had the watermelon spritz which was very refreshing. Recommend it on a summer day. The apps were all great, tried the wagyu,Brussels sprouts, potato chips and shrimp. Just felt the shrimp were a little dry. Had the fried chicken for entree, the mashed potatoes were good but the chicken was salty for me. Having is with the potatoes and gravy it was good buy I would have preferred having the chicken by itself. Wasn't a fan of the desserts, they looked great but taste wise wasn't a big fan.
google avatar

Brooke D.

Yelp
Came here for a work lunch and wished it was a little cooler outside so we could've enjoyed the outdoor seating. This would definitely be a good place for a patio happy hour! I ordered the crispy shrimp caesar salad and it was very good but had a little more dressing and cheese than I probably would have liked but nothing crazy. My only complaint is that we all ordered salads and it honestly took a long time for them to come out. This place overall has really good food and a good vibe but is definitely overpriced but that's just the way it is so I don't want that to come off as a complaint, just fyi.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
This was the first time for my husband and I to try. Wasn't sure after mixed reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. My hubby had the fried chicken plate w/mashed potatoes, biscuit, and coleslaw. The biscuit was cool so they brought us another one, no big deal. I had the spaghetti pecorino. It was delicious! Overall we really enjoyed the food and ambiance.

Yelp
Ambiance: Came here on a Sunday night and it was a wonderful experience. There were indoor and out door seating. I opted for an outdoor spot. To all those who like to people watch this is a great place. Had a great view of people casually strolling through the Austin Domain area. It was very clean and unkept. There's also a pingpong table on the patio for anyone who wants to have a little more fun. Service: The servers were really nice and helpful with the menu options. Food: I didn't get too much this time around I only ordered some hot wings and a drink. My ultimate go to anywhere are chicken wings. I didn't expect the wings to taste as amazing as it did. The sauce to wing ratio was perfect. You can tell the wings aren't just tossed in the sauce, it's actually glazed very well over the entire wings. The wings had a nice crisp on the outside with the inside being tender and juicy. The sauce was to die for and tasted so fresh and homemade. The drink was good as well. They definitely don't water down and try to cheap scape their customers. Overall: I shall be returning and trying their other menu options. Can't wait to share this experience with my loved ones. Oh and I think this place is false advertising because the chefs had to of worked at a five star Michelin restaurant

Yelp
Visite a weekend afternoon for brunch. The service was fantastic for the most part. Our server told us that the kitchen was very backed up, and he even brought out the free fondue pretzel appetizer, which was delicious. However, I saw that the table across from us, received their main entrées, even though they arrived after us. Nevertheless, the food was fantastic. I ordered salmon entrée which came with bread, eggs, and other toppings. It was very filling in the statement it was cooked to perfection. Our Table also ordered a picture of mimosas, and they brought out different flavors like pineapple and guava. The champagne provided was great. The restaurant overall had a nice ambience, very relaxing, playful, and exciting with a live music.
google avatar

Brianna W.

Yelp
Waitress was really nice and a short wait to eat outside. Lots of shade and good live music. Have build your own app/charcuterie board (not pictured) but very good. Burger was a decent and French dip was too. Pretty average, not too much to rave about
google avatar

Yelp
We have heard about this restaurant in the Domain and really haven't had a chance to try it until recently. the service was great. Our server Kay, was on the ball and was great even after her shift was done for the night! She was a pleasure to chat with even with a busy night. The drinks were great and my wife especially loved her drink that is a fruity spin of a French 75. My old fashioned was perfect as well. The atmosphere was relaxing for a trendy place. There's just enough TVs for the sports customers, however we were there for the food. The menu is very eclectic, meaning it wasn't just BBQ or sandwiches or steaks. They really had it all and me and the family tested their limits a bit. I ordered the pasta Bolognese, my wife had a house salad with steak on top with their house ranch which was nice and fresh. Then my daughter had the prime rib dip sandwich. I am glad to report that everything was tasty. Because that, dessert was warranted. Between us three with the guidance from Kay, we ordered the moon pie cake and the monkey bread dessert. With the monkey bread dessert, we were told it would take about 15 minutes to make because it's to order. We were fine with that because we hadn't finished all of our meals and were still enjoying our drinks. Between the two desserts, while both were delicious, the moon pie cake was the winner with us. We rolled out of the restaurant extremely satisfied. Especially on a cool Austin evening.

Yelp
This place is great for a shopping break in the domain! It's inside or outside and the food is yummy! They have my fave ipa on tap- electric jellyfish! The app we had was so good and they Caesar was amazeeeeeee & they subbed shrimp for grilled chicken! Yum!
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Get the shrimp appetizer. We dug in before I could take a photo lol. Turns out thus is one of few places open earlier for brunch so check the time on that because I forgot but most places I go don't open until at least 11. Seriously I've never had anything bad here, my go to is usually the nachos but they're huge so we went with something smaller for an appetizer. Turns out the shrimp on was pretty filling too! I barely made it through my side salad I ordered instead of a meal. We went for lunch at 11 and tha patio was perfect for our meal and we decided not to walk around after bc it was getting hot but will definitely be back for brunch and more often when it cools down so we can walk around and shop after we eat without melting!
google avatar

Rishi P.

Yelp
Live music but not too loud and in a great outdoor area which was lively. We sat outside and make reservations because it was a long wait otherwise. We got the whipped feta and pretzel bites which were huge so one portion may do but whipped feta was light and delicious. Fish and chips were battered a lot but good way to end the night. It was slow service but manager was nice as they came by to apologize from the slow night. Will bring friends here again

Yelp
Happy Hour @ Culinary dropout was a gem in the midst of The Domain. Stylish location with unique vibes. Location is also Kid friendly + Pet friendly with foosball tables, corn hole and ping pong tables. We ordered the Maui Wowie & East Manhattan Long Iced teas. Both were flavorful and strong. We also enjoyed the Spicy Korean Ribs and Cheap House salad (see happy hour menu). Great choices to accompany our drinks. Our server was the sweetest and made awesome suggestions to best suite our tastebuds. The location is very cute, trendy and instagram worthy. We saw several tables order the nachos which were large and shareable, we only stopped in for a quick snack this time. Will try in the future. Would recommend!

Yelp
Happened to be in the area and walked in. Got a high top for 2 and we were greeted by Joey. It was Restaurant Week and you get to try all their known dishes for 40 bucks. You get a drink, appetizer, main course and a dessert. The pretzel fondue was on the menu along with my favorite fish and chips and then there was a Mississippi Mud Pie. Had to order off the Restaurant Week menu. My son ordered the house potato chips, the fried chicken and the caramel banana pie. The portions are large and we could have easily just shared one appetizer and one entree. We took most of it home along with the desserts. Place was busy for a Saturday night and our server, Joey was extremely attentive and the staff went around checking if everything was going ok. I'll be back again for the brunch next time! See you all soon :)
google avatar

Yelp
Usually a go to spot but recently noticed the portions have been slim & cocktails not always the same flavor profile. Not many fries with the Katsu, but great sandwich.
google avatar

Britney D.

Yelp
I went to dinner here last night, and it's been at least a year since I've been. While the layout has not changed and it quite loud with the televisions, music, and games, I was impressed by the menu. There was a nice variety to choose from of, and the taste was great. My friend and I split the crispy brussel sprouts which were flavorful and saucy. For entrees we had the cacio e pepe and Peking duck rice. The pasta portion was a bit light on the protein, so it was good we had an appetizer. Looking forward to going back to try other menu items.
google avatar

Lawrencia L.

Yelp
Once we were greeted the service was great. I had a lettuce wrapped chicken sandwich and a side of fries. The food was good. It also didn't take a long time to get the food.
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
The food was amazing! The service could not have been better! Everyone was fantastic. Loved loved loved how you could see the scratch kitchen! Decorated for Christmas and it was so pretty. Loved the fire pits outside too! Oh! And the BEST expresso martini I have ever had!!
google avatar

Sam Z.

Yelp
Great service. Ambiance is loud music, loud talking. Food is good. I had the fried chicken - three meaty pieces, very tasty. The sides were all just ok - mashed potatoes (not my favorite and I didn't like the gravy), Cole slaw (ok, too much mayo not enough acid), and a biscuit (ok but more on the cakey side than I like). Also had a nonalcoholic watermelon spritz thing, made with lemon and coconut water, which was fantastic. Would make at home.

Yelp
I had an event at this restaurant. Everything was amazing including the staff, the food and ambiance. There was live music and that added to the experience.

Yelp
Culinary dropout, has a really cool set up, between the indoor and outdoor dining, big screen, TVs, everywhere, and plenty of seats at the bar, there is definitely something for everyone. The food was OK, perhaps I would have to try one of the entrées to really get a feel for it but we got a salad and sandwich and it was good but not mind blowing. I got the chopped chicken salad which was tossed in barbecue sauce and I was not too thrilled about that, I must have totally missed it on the menu. I did catch that it had a barbecue ranch dressing and I did request to just have plain ranch but the chicken threw me off. My husband got the turkey pastrami sandwich, which was also just OK, not great not horrible, but edible and filling. The one thing that we really did enjoy was the fried shrimp, which also came with some fried zucchini, and the little dipping sauce was delicious. we sampled yesterday's soup, which was a roasted red pepper and decided not to go with it but it had a nice flavor. Now I will say the service was absolutely amazing, we sat at the bar and were helped by two different bartenders. They were so attentive and were great with making small adjustments on our food, made sure everything in our area stayed nice and clean, and changed the TV for us to the All-Star game. They were a lot of fun, and even though the bar was super slammed, they were pleasant the whole time always smiling and joking. I'm so glad I finally got to try them. Since every time we go to Austin, we stay at the domain, this will definitely be a regular for us.

Yelp
The baked mac and cheese was very rich and gooey- perhaps one of the best mac and cheese I have ever had. My picky eater was not able to finish the whole big bowl of mac and cheese so I helped out. OMG it was soooooooo creamy and delicious! The soft pretzels with cheese fondue would make a fun snack. The warm pretzels were tender and chewy (in a good way), and who would say no to cheese fondue?! The M.A.C. Burger- a dressed up double cheeseburger- was huge and filling, and the burger patties were juicy. My hungry 4-year old ate all the fried chicken tenders by herself so I assumed the tenders were good as well even though they looked kinda dry. The BBQ Pork Belly Nachos was a little disappointing because those were apparently not pork belly but very lean pulled pork over the nachos, and some of the nacho chips were soggy.

Yelp
Fantastic customer service from McKenna (sp?) who was a delight throughout our visit. The whipped feta appetizer with tahini, all of our drinks, and the Mississippi mud pie were phenomenal. The entrees were average, but we also ordered things out of our norm just to try it. There are tons of different seating options -- from the bar to tables to booths to outdoor seating on their covered patio, which makes this an all-season choice. They have those cool modern restrooms where the sinks are located outside of the actual restrooms, to encourage handwashing. I love that, honestly. Anyone who is bothered by it is mad that they have to wash their hands and good -- I hope or shames them into washing them. This place is clean and modern and feels edgy while remaining classy. Would definitely return.

Yelp
We walked up at ~6:30 PM on a Wednesday and they had a 90-minute wait so we just ordered my birthday dessert to go. I highly recommend making a reservation if you want to dine in. The Mississippi Mud Pie was phenomenal! It is a chocolate lover's dream. They packaged it with the chocolate sauce in a sealed to-go container on the side.

Yelp
I've been to the one in Austin and the one in Denver and to be honest these are great place to eat and have fun with friends! The bar program/cocktails are solid! I had a Paloma and it was tasty and strong. They also have a good selection of beers and wines. The chicken wings and crispy popcorn shrimp are great app options to share with friends but would be meals on to themselves. The friend chicken was spectacular, crunchy, moist and full of flavor. Didn't have dessert this time but they also looked good.

Yelp
I've seen this place every time I go to the Domain and I think it looks like so much fun. Then I finally got to go with a group of friends here and had a blast. I had the vegan curry which was so delicious. Everyone rated their food a 7 or higher so we all enjoyed it. My friends got to play ping pong while they were here too. And our server was nice and kept checking in on us. Fun time. And great experience.

Yelp
I've always wanted to check this place out because it seems like the most popular place on the domain and I wasn't wrong! We dropped by for an early dinner and it was a refreshing break from the Austin heat thanks to the fans and misters they have in the outdoor seating area. There is AMAZIN live music and it was such a great evening out. I loved that we could get a half portion of the pretzels, more restaurants should offer half portions! Our server was kind enough to recommend it. I loved my crispy shrimp ceasar it was seasoned perfectly didn't taste oily at all, next time I would even get an extra side of that!

Yelp
Came here on a Monday afternoon for lunch with friends and there were plenty of tables available. There were so many things on the menu that sounded good so it was hard to decide. We shared the soft pretzels and provolone fondue which everyone enjoyed. My toddler liked that they bite sized (well two bites for her). I ordered the crispy chicken katsu sandwich (Japanese milk bread, spicy miso aioli, napa slaw, hoisin). The milk bread was so soft and fluffy and the chicken was flavorful and juicy. Loved the ambiance. Service was good and food came out in a reasonable amount of time.

Yelp
We celebrated a 30th birthday here. It was a cool vibe. There was live music, great drinks, and good food. The gravy on the chicken and biscuits wasn't our favorite. We asked for jelly and it made the biscuits much better! The service was great especially with how busy they were.
