If you are in Nairobi, Cultiva is a must visit. We happened to visit it twice for Lunch and Brunch, initially planned to lunch only but forced to come again for its very high quality food, great ambiance and everything authentic about it. Talking of lunch went with reservation which is highly recommended as you may not get a table for walk in due to very high foot fall. The menu was absolutely unconventional, all local farm produce and very differently made. Tried their Loaded Potato Fries with Cheese, Cajun and za’atar spice. Absolutely blown away (5/5), Korean Chicken and Groupsn Fish Tacos - again very well done (5/5), Wild Mushroom Skewer - Grilled Mushroons in a sauce (5/5), margarita Pizza - the best I had in a long time though I had the top pizzas from almost all over the World. This one was truly a delight (5/5), Fire Oven Capresse - again very astutely done (5/5). In desert tried home made vanilla and Chocolate ice creams (5/5). In drinks tried Passion Fruit soda and coconut shake lemonade (5/5). It truly was a food extravaganza. The ambiance with its green plants surroundings were a heart warmer while service was top notch.
Thoroughly impressed came again the next day for Brunch and had a similar experience with Beef and Eggs Sandwich on Hoyse bread, Potato, Mushroom and Eggs Risoto and Itens from house bakery, which were again top notch. Coffees were equally good. It really is a delight to review such a fine restaurant.
