Wonderful theater! Seats are comfy and spacious. Staff is extremely friendly and efficient. We saw the show Southern Fried Chicken and it was hilarious and all of the cast was amazing! Plenty of snacks and beverages, including adult beverages, to enjoy while watching the show as well. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Keep up the good work!!

Wow, just WOW! Our 8 year old daughter just finished one of the summer camp sessions here and we are just blown away! So is she! She attended the Willy Wonka Session of Theatre Camp, it was a two week session from 9am-4pm and at the end of it they put on the musical. As parents we were blown and I mean blown away by the what they all accomplished in just two weeks! We went to an after party for the kids and it wasn’t just us that were super impressed, all of the parents were just amazed! Our daughter was given a small role in the musical, perfect for her age and experience. Each day that I picked her up, she would be beaming and so pumped by the experience. She has had an interest in theatre since she was young but this just solidified it. The counselors were Highschool graduates who had grown up in the program and loved it, you could tell each day at drop off. There were kids of ALL ages there, our daughter was one of the youngest at 8 years old and kids went all the way to highschool age. Even with that vast age difference, they ALL were kind to each other and accepting. It was awesome for my daughter to see some mentors. She saw older kids helping younger kids and got to experience comradeship at its best. She was taught to practice and study, to get her role right. She had to audition for her role, which gave her insight on being brave, handling nervous energy and how to push through. Theatre camp teaches so many important life lessons, we are so thrilled we found this camp. It turns out that we discovered this camp has been going on for quite awhile, I ran into partner of kids in their 30’s who went to this camp as kiddos. So they obviously know what they are doing and how to be successful! Highly recommend, it will be the highlight to your kids summer as it was for our daughter. She’s begging for next year already!

Adorable kids production! Performers were amazing especially since this was about 8 days of full time prep and learning lines and songs! Bravo! I will be back!

Wanted to experience the Cape Coral culture. We got tickets and enjoyed the show. It was a nice experience. Will look forward to other shows.

We saw Nana Naughty Knickers. The story line was ok but did not appreciate the use of "god damn" used a number of times. That took away from the funnyness of the lines. Little over acting on Bridgett lines. She was good but over the top at times. We like the theater and it is a comfortable setting.

This is a nice local live theater facility. Low cost drinks, beer/wine and candy. We saw Grease last night 3/16/23. All High School cast and truthfully they were pretty good. Wow the gal playing Rizzo was excellent!! The seats were spacious and very comfortable. Seriously, there’s not a bad seat in the house. Our only negative, which is a BIG one, causing us to likely not attend again, is a lady in front of us was taking photos and video throughout the show. In a dark theater, that bright IPhone held up blocking our view and shining that bright light in our eyes was so annoying, distracting and took away from our enjoyment of the show. A worker was sitting right behind us and seemed oblivious to this. So, please Staff: When you ask everyone to silence their phones not to distract others before the show starts; PLEASE ASK FOR NO PHOTOS OR VIDEOS DURING THE SHOW. Seriously so irritating that we left after the 1st Act. A waste of two tickets for sure.

My wife and I saw Crimes of the Heart today at the 3pm show. I am ashamed to say it was our first time here and I have lived on the Cape since 1973. I can honestly say I have missed out on a lot by not coming to a play here. This community theater is a wonderful place to spend a couple hours a see local performers. There isn't a bad seat to view from. Crimes of the Heart is funny and is a play most of us can find common ground in. As I was raised in the South, I saw similarities to some of my own relatives. I thought the actors captured the zaniness and dysfunction so many families experience. Don't miss out on a fun afternoon. Check out Crimes of The Heart. We will be coming to future plays!

Yelp
Having grown up in New York City, I developed an appreciation of off and off-off Broadway productions from an early age. I sat through my share of clunkers and of course, winners. I've seen performances in stuffy basement theaters with makeshift seating, as well as venues with bigger budgets and plush seats. Cultural Park is a lovely theater with professional sound & lighting, a large stage, and an extensive staff of volunteers. Truthfully, I had low expectations for no reason other than the tickets were inexpensive and the theater does little if any advertising. (I learned about them inadvertently driving through the neighborhood.) I was in for a surprise. Cultural Park's production of "Something Rotten" -- a Tony-nominated Broadway musical -- was stellar! There's talent in Cape Coral. My review is for the theater itself, not the production, though I see they have the capabilities to present great shows. The sets, the seating, the stage and performers .... no complaints! Ample free parking, too. There's a concession stand -- a source of revenue for them -- with moderately priced wine and snacks. While they're on hiatus, Cultural Park offers two week summer camp programs for kids interested in singing, dancing and acting. A great community resource!

Yelp
Came today to see my nephew, in Newsies Jr. It is incredible how well they can get these kids to perform after just 2 weeks! The singing and dancing is amazing!! The 2 week camps are well worth the price. The kids and staff do a wonderful job.

Yelp
23 June 2024 Cape Coral , Florida I went to see a Play on Sunday , 23 June 24 in the local community theatre. The Theatre is literally a 5 minute drive from my house. I've passed by this Theatre many times and often wondered , due to its small size and location , just how good could a Play be here in small town Cape Coral. Yes , I've been to Broadway in the Big Apple ( NYC ). I know good acting when I see it. But when I saw the advertisement for this particular Play , I just knew I had to purchase a ticket and see this Play. MURDER ... On the Orient Express !!! Yes , there was a murder ! No your Honor , I did not witness the murder. You see , just as the crime occurred, the lights went out. It was dark , I tell ya. I didn't see a thing. Suddenly, the lights came back on and a man was dead. Oh , the horror ! But , who done it ? Ah , the mystery of it all. World Famous Belgian Detective Hercule Poirot was summoned to the scene of the crime. Poirot , ( pronounced Pwa ro ) my favorite detective , would solve this horrific crime , just as he has solved so many crimes in the past. And solve it he did ! Bravo Monsieur ! To find out who did it , go see the Play. Oh wait. Sunday was the last Play of the season in the Cultural Park Theatre. Oh well , what to do , wait til next year ??? The theatre itself holds a capacity audience of approximately 150 people. The seats are tiered upward so as to provide an unobstructed view of the stage. There are no bad seats in the house. The duration of the Play was approximately two and a half hours with a twenty minute intermission between the first and second act. That is enough time for a restroom break or an opportunity to grab a refreshment at the snack bar. The attendees were mostly elderly and a senior discount is available for those over 62 years of age. Plenty of free parking available in the nearby parking lot. As for the actors , the Play is the thing. I was impressed ! The acting was quite good , I was thoroughly entertained throughout the Play. I got more than my money's worth. I look forward to next season to see what Plays will be offered. I hope to return next season to be entertained again. Maybe , just maybe , there will be another murder ... A Death On The Nile ?!

Yelp
We watched Southern Fried Funeral and really enjoyed it! The characters were funny and the acting was great. We will definitely be back for another show when we return to the Cape in the fall.

Yelp
This small theater in Cape Coral has history. It's been around more than fifty years. It offers classes for children through adults, community theater productions, broadway series, concerts, etc. There is ample free parking on the south side of the theater in a nice size lot. The box office is just near the front on the left as you enter. Prices are fairly reasonable and they have various seasonal and group ticket prices, too. In the front lobby, the volunteers offer libations at a very low cost; there is art work for sale on the walls plus a small gift shop in the back of the lobby. Many of the gift shop items are donations, so here, too, prices are quite low. We came for a holiday show because my girlfriends granddaughter was performing. Because it was a Xmas show, one of the volunteers had made (free for the taking) Christmas cookies. I'm not sure if they do this all the time, but they also sold raffle tickets to raise money for theater scholarships by auctioning a lovely gift basket. The theater itself is small, but you can see and hear from every location. There are no columns blocking one's sight line. And there are no middle aisles, so you enter each row from one end or the other. Seats were comfortable with ample leg room.

Yelp
What a cute intimate hidden gem of a theatre. Hidden in a residential/industrial area of Cape Coral. Map it out and go see a show! The seats are situated at the best slant so nobody's head is in the way. The Porch show was awesome and unexpected comedy. The place is clean, updated and comfortable. Check it out.

Yelp
Just saw production of "Hairspray" , 03/30/17. Wonderful, spirited, talented cast! Highly entertaining production, directed by Tyler Omundsen who shines in his role as Edna Turnblad, as well. The venue is comfortable and every seat is a good seat. Highly recommended for a great night out!
