Best Restaurants Near Los Angeles Hiking Trails | Eater LA

"After braving the nearly 300 steps at the Culver City Stairs, head straight to zeitgeisty sandwich shop Monroe Place for replenishment and recovery. Try the Italian Spaniard with jamón Serrano, mortadella, soppressata, Manchego, arugula, and shallot vinaigrette on a baguette, or the vegetarian Lil’ Bambino with tomato confit, burrata, cherry tomatoes, basil, Calabrese chile, and honey. This shop is better for grab-and-go picnics." - Rebecca Roland

So pretty, stairs are pretty steep and quite tall so would not recommend for smaller children but there is a bike path and pedestrian walk that winds round the slope.

I came here for the first time The stairs have about 300 steps. I went up and down two times and my heart nearly came out of my chest. I hope I can do more for next time 💪

Great place to get a good cardio workout and the view at the top of the stairs is incredible.

Easy paths to the top but grueling climb on the stairs. If you want to get in shape fast, this is the place to burn calories. Bring water and there’s a juice truck at the bottom on Jefferson. Great views of LA basin, Hollywood and DTLA.

We parked at Baldwin Hills overlook, it was $4 for 2 hours of parking, we walked the trail down to the bottom of the hill then took the steps up. At the top of the stairs you follow the trail right back to your car. There is a giant red and white tower by the parking lot, which is nice to see the direction you are going. A total of 282 stairs!!! It was a workout for sure but it has areas on the way up to sit, rest and get your breath. The views are beautiful!!

Only takes about 3 minutes to climb the stairs, the walk up to the stairs is less than 5. Tough stairs not for the faint of heart but nice quick burn with a great view 😎
