Ordered Culver's for the first time and I must say, I'm upset it took my husband and I this long to try this place! The cheeseburger to us was better than a lot of other fast food places out there like BK, Wendy's, Jack in the Box... Well you get the idea. The chicken burger was just as good and the fish & chips was definitely a nice surprise because it was better than some sit down restaurants that we have gone to. We can only comment on the food since we ordered it for delivery, but I can only imagine how much better it would be eating the food right when you receive it. We will definitely be coming here again and trying other things from their menu.

Greasy!!!! Run away. Horrible. Covered in so called butter. The bread was flat and soaked in oil. 3 patties. What a laugh. Looked like 1 fat patty put together. Thats why i got 3. Also what happened to the onions? I couldn't really see any. My mother's fish and chips was also Greasy. The fries taste green, not rip also were semi hard. First and last time ill be going. I dont understand why people come here.

If I could give this place a -0, I would. All the floor counter staff were unpleasant and unfriendly. Not one greeted or thanked me, or anyone else who was in store waiting. Cashier Klana didn't even bother to look at me when I placed my order. Duty manager (young male kid) & another cashier girl were talking spanish amongst themselves. Another cashier went on break, paid for her custard and then went back behind the counter to add more toppings to her cup..isn't that theft?... My burger was slapped together & missing the tomato, which I didn't ask for. Mixer was runny & soupy, barely soft set. They give priority to drive thru & don't care making customers inside wait, very slow to get served & then get your order. I will never dine at Culver's again, over priced and bad service. They need to realize no customer = no job. Save ur $ and go across the street to In & Out or Shake Shack...

Jesska gave us excellent customer service . She gave us service with a smile. Food was hot and delicious. Family friendly environment

Google
The food and the service are really great here. Perfect, even. The only thing that needs to be improved is their soda fountain. There's a horrible aftertaste with any drink or water you get from it. Awful! The machine needs to be taken apart and cleaned or replaced all together. The weird taste of the fountain drinks was just so unexpected. All I could think about was the bacteria, etc, that must be in the hoses, etc, on that thing. It's a bit of a damper on an otherwise perfect vist.

I ordered an Oreo and salted caramel mixer, I got something with almonds instead which sent me to the hospital. It wasn’t an issue of cross contamination, I could specifically taste them. I’d love to discuss this issue.

Save yourself the trouble and don’t go to this Culver’s. Ordered an ice cream on the drive-through was told $5.50 went to the window was not given a total charge. My card was charged 6.82 asked for a receipt I was charged for each mixing that was put in the concrete mixer, Asked to speak to a manager who told me that that was normal and that they charge for every mixing. owner came over and told me it was a mistake.

Google
I do not care what anyone has to say about Culver's. It has been one of my top five burgers places since they came to Arizona and remains so to this day. This morning, after I got off work, I stopped in and had the bacon double deluxe combo. It did not disappoint. Fresh never frozen beef that melts in your mouth and seasoned oh so delicately. Real bacon without tomatoes and onions for me. Crinkle cut fries that are always piping hot awaiting the ketchup. Lol. You can never go wrong here, and if you need ice cream, they have that covered as well. I recommend eating in as it can get a little messy trying to eat all of this deliciousness in your vehicle. Enjoy!!! Sorry, but I had already eaten most of the burger before I took the picture.

Yelp
As the owner of hvac task force when we are out fixing someone's ac or fixing their heater in the winter it is nice to be able to just arrive and have my food brought to my truck. Fuels me to keep providing 5 star service. My food was nice and fresh just how I like it.

Yelp
Food was absolutely delicious! Place has been remodeled and looks fantastic! The service we received was excellent.... The young man that took our order, helped with getting our drinks (I'm currently using a walker following hip surgery) to coming out into the dining room to check on us and assisting us out the door upon leaving.... Was absolutely amazing, caring and awesome!

Odyssey S.

Yelp
That big ginger dude who's the cook in the back, has a big bush of a beard without a net covering it so might be a gamble if you'd find a hair in your food, pretty sure that's a health code violation. He is also rude and gets mad when he has to do modifications on items as if it's not his job to fulfill orders as they're placed. Front counter people are nice most of the time but this location specifically has made me not like Culver's over time.

Yelp
A man named A B took the order and it was so REFRESHING to talk to such an outgoing professional! The food is always good! Thank you AB!

Yelp
I had a weekend event at the Comfort Suites hotel Oct 28-29, 2023. During lunch break I was gonna go to In & Out Burger on the other side of the fwy, but I'd have to drive there. I had always wanted to try Culver's cheese curds, seeing them on Culver's ad on TV. I decided if I didn't go there now, when this Culvers is right next to the Comfort Suites, I'd probably never make a special trip. I asked the Culvers employee taking my order to describe the curds. He said it had a breading coating and was deep fried, and the cheese inside would be hot and stringy. I asked if there was enough to make a meal. He said no, it is just a side. Well, it came in a VERY small sack containing very few pieces and costing $4.69 + tax = $5.17. There were about 10 pieces about the thickness of a women's index finger to the middle joint. Wow, I calculated that each pieces costs 50 cents. And when I bit into it, itemperature was hot, but the coating was so thick and hard like it was coated with cornmeal, and the yellow cheese was not melty. Some pieces of the coating got stuck in my teeth like bird gravel. It needed catsup, not provided, I had to go back and ask for it. I didn't like it, cos it was the cost of a single patty butter burger, was mostly breading, and didn't taste good. I almost thought about getting my money back. I was really disappointed in what you get for the money. For over $5 I woulda rather have ordered a butter burger, more of a meal. Well, I achieved my "wonder what the curds taste like". Ick! Never again. The cashier did not ask me in advance, if this was takeout or dine in, he just assumed dine in, so gave me a number sign. I wanted to take out.

Yelp
Culver's is known for their butterburgers and frozen custard. We ordered two kid's meals and a cheeseburger. Burgers are fast food burgers. Buns were too thick. It was hard to taste the patty and other toppings through the bun. Burger was very heavy on the mayonnaise. That was easily scraped off. Fries were better than most fast food fries. The crinkled ridges were crisp. Inside of the fries was soft. Custard is thick and creamy. My children enjoyed that their kid's meal came with an extra special treat. Service reminded me of Chick-fil-A. They were very welcoming. Food was brought to the table with a smile. Someone even came around towards the end of the meal, and asked us if everything had been okay. Seating is available inside and outside. They also have a drive-thru.

Bree M.

Yelp
Walked in here ready to try Culver's for the very first time due to all the hype. As I walked in I was taken back by the huge screens with the menus. A man at the register who I assume was the manager/shift leader asked if we were ready to order in which we replied no. A girl from the back came out and with two ice cream cones and asked me and my husband if we wanted them to which we both looked at each other and said sure (we assumed they got the order wrong and wanted to give the ice cream away instead of tossing it out). As we are looking at the menu we are eating the ice cream talking about how cool and nice everyone here was. As we are finally going to order our food the same guy who I assume is the manager/shift leader (Dakota or something with a D was the name on his tag) walks up to us and says did you pay for those in the most rude way. To which my husband responded the girl in the back gave them to us. As if we would steal ice cream lol oddly enough I'm Latina and my husband is black. I feel like he wouldn't have talked the same way to the other guests there not of color. Apparently it was all misunderstanding as they were for some other guest. In my opinion that's something he should have talked to his worker about and not be rude to the customers about. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Yelp
Greetings Arizona! It's 9pm on Saturday June 25th 2022. I don't know if I would recommend this Culver's. We were sold expired mashed potatoes and gravy (my daughter ended up eating it all before we noticed it was expired). She has not stopped going to the bathroom. -- on top of this the chicken was not fully cooked. It took 3 times to make our cheese burgers and still ended up not being correct, I ended up asking for the topping to put on the burger myself. I don't like leaving comments like this but my daughters health was at risk consuming raw meat and expired dairy products. --forgot all my sauces. Trashes are super full, tables not wiped down, and even seen an employee come out the restaurant very quickly (questionable if they washed their hands). -- At the end of our experience here, we didn't have ask for a refund but honestly don't know if we will eat at this location again. Sorry for the review like this but God bless!

Yelp
The food was delicious the employees were super friendly. Food came out fast and fresh. I wish we had one of these in CA!! The only other ones we had been to was in MO!

Yelp
I had a Terrible experience today. The employee was very rude and disrespectful. I won't be coming back and I'll make sure to let my friends and family know as well!

Yelp
Came to visit a family member in the hospital and decided to try out this place since the Comfort Inn Suites were offering 10% off if you show your room key. We have never eaten here before and wanted to give it a try. My initial impression of this location was that it was very welcoming and smelled delicious. We let the cashier Adriana that it was our first time and she let us know what was popular on the menu. She was very helpful and sweet to my entire family. It was very difficult to pick what we wanted because everything looked good! They have a large selection of burgers, tenders, and custards. Mardi came to our table to serve us and it was a nice touch because usually at fast food places they don't bring you your food. She also told us to sit down when we went to grab napkins and went to get them herself! It's the small things that make a HUGE difference in our experience. We just found a new family tradition and place to stop whenever we are in Arizona. We ended up coming back for some shakes later that night, but didn't get to snap a photo. 10/10!

Diego T.

Yelp
My cousin worked there for 3 days then she had to quit because of family matters. After she quit, the management blocked her number so she couldn't text them to ask for her money, she worked 16 hours and they didn't care to make her deposit. This is so unprofessional and unethical, also most of the girls there told her how uncomfortable they felt around the manager but nothing has been done about it. This shows how this place doesn't care about their workers which are the fundamental part of how they keep making money. Absolutely shameful.

Mei M. K.

Yelp
We fortunately have had a very good experiences whenever we visit this location. The staff is eager, welcoming, and very attentive and efficient in taking your order. Can't say this with other fast food establishments. Butter burger, fried, curds, and deserts are delicious. Although the food is better than their competitors it is the friendly staff that also sets them apart.

Amani C.

Yelp
Being fully transparent, food was amazing BUT the "manager" DAKOTA made it a hard time to enjoy. He's attitude was very condescending and bigoted. I was the only black family member and he obviously had an issue with me. Will not be going to this location, the Avondale location was much more better.

Faith C.

Yelp
Nice workers but they only gave me half of what I ordered and I waited a LONG time for it (it was a pick up order) also is it just me or did my tenders shrink?
google avatar

Yelp
First time here. Our server Dominic was excellent, great customer service. The food was great! The fries, onion rings, hamburger, chicken salad, and chicken sandwich were all fantastic. Thank you Culver's!

Yelp
UPDATE: the response from the team has made me bump it up to 4 stars. The owner called me and I dealt with the store manager in person. They were very apologetic and gave me a free meal and some vouchers as an apology. It turns out it was the knob from the ice cream machine to change consistency. The food, especially the concrete mixers are good which is why I'm giving it two stars. HOWEVER. I was eating my concrete mixer and at the bottom I found a LARGE meta object. I don't know if it came from the machine or what but I had eaten most of it by the time I bit into this so hopefully it wasn't dirty because-gross. Hopefully they look in to this and fix whatever issue caused this to end up in .

Yelp
First time coming here. Wanted somewhere to eat so we visited this place. This Culver's was a great choice ! Warm friendly staff that promptly took care of my order. Plenty of parking too. Clean up and restaurant dining atmosphere too. Definitely worth checking out.

Thawann M.

Yelp
I've shared loved Culver's but decided to try their sourdough melt this time. As expected it was delicious!

Abrianna C.

Yelp
I was with my friend on our way to work and we had PLENTY of time to stop and get food. We decided to stop at this Culvers while there was no one in the drive thru. We waited 30 minutes!!!! I had to walk inside and ask for my food and once we got it, our concretes were melted and our food was cold. The wait has happened at MULTIPLE locations as well. I love Culvers so it would be nice if i could get good service for once.

Andrea S.

Yelp
We drove 20 minutes out of our way to enjoy a culvers lunch but after ordering our food we turn the corner to look for a table and found someone slumped over, passed out completely, pretty much overdosing. Me disgusted, not wanting to watch this while I enjoy my meal we go to the other side of the restaurant to sit & I go let the employees know. They then said "thank you for letting us know" and did nothing. Us uncomfortable we tried to ignore him and enjoy our meal. They did not ask him to leave instead left him be. He then woke up, stumbled outside assuming to take "another hit" and then stumble back inside even worse. AND SAT at the table right next to us when I purposing sat at a table where he wasn't in our site, he then went to another table, practically hopping around dirtying every table and infecting with god knows what he has. He was clearly not in his right mind, he was clearly homeless, and on severe drugs. They let him stay and "enjoy" his high while it ruined our lunch . I was disgusted, how could a "family" resturant let this happen? Even after I told them I was extremely uncomfortable and my three year old son should never witness that. How would YOU explain to your young son that, that man is high and practically dying on the table next to us: How could you let a overdosing person stay in the middle of your dining room with a full lobby of people? I understand that Arizona has a drug problem but we should NOT be allowing it in a resturant that I'm paying for a meal with my FAMILY. They never made him leave and never called the cops. I will never go to this location again since they don't cater to family's, or care about our safety and/or comfortablity. I am dumbfounded with my experience with a resturant I used to love so much, and it is now tainted with that unforgettable experience .

Yelp
I came here for my birthday one scoop sundae. The flavor of the day was yummy so I got that for my sundae ice cream flavor. I got cookie dough and peanut butter cups as toppings. The service was quick and friendly. This location even wrote happy birthday on my container. Super cute and a nice touch. The cashier is probably the most bubbly employee I've experienced in a long while. It was a great experience.

Castro C.

Yelp
Terrible service first they took 20 minutes for me to get my order in 106 degree weather then they give me the wrong order after driving 10 minutes back home, food was decent not the best also , I had asked for a Coke Zero due to the fact I'm diabetic yes I know soda and diabetes don't go together but I get home and I find out it was a regular Coke and my sugar levels are through the roof making me think I had drank a soda pop with no sugar which I clearly asked for through the microphone !!!!
google avatar

Heather E.

Yelp
Should have spent a little more time in line at In N Out instead of choosing the shorter route. Piss poor quality burger that wasn't on a bed of lettuce and literally had one mushroom. Why call it a mushroom Swiss burger. Call it ONE Mushroom and some Swiss instead. Or call it what it is; sh*t. Reach out to me for my refund. Store credit won't fix this.
google avatar

Yelp
Consistently good food & you can tell they genuinely care about service. The restaurant is always clean. They get busy
google avatar

Debbie T.

Yelp
Hubby was driving home from an appointment, so he stopped off and picked up drive-thru from here. We hadn't had it in a really long time...not sure why...but, that will be remedied. He got the fried fish w/fries and slaw, and loved it! He got 3 fish fillets and was stuffed!! I got the chicken tenders w/onion rings. They were so fresh and flavorful, and the rings were still crispy and hot. Everything was really good! We won't wait so long to head back here.
google avatar

Sara M.

Yelp
We came for the mint explosion tonight. The service was super friendly and quick. We decided to eat in and it was not busy inside which was nice. The restaurant and restroom was clean. Our order was at our table in less than 5 minutes. We love Culver's and have always had great service no matter the location. We will be back soon!

Bri L.

Yelp
i've been waiting for my one burger (that's all i ordered) for well over 30 mins. i'm seeing everyone else get their orders. i used to work here and i know it does not take 30 mins for a burger to cook. the item that takes the longest is the spicy chicken and it's 5 min
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
Sad day. I hate giving low stars. I really enjoy a butter burger as I come from the Midwest. I always enjoy the food when we go. The root beer is great. The custard is fantastic. The burgers are nice with little grease. The painful part is the staff. It seems every, I mean every time we come to this location the staff manage to miss something or read the order wrong. Tonight was no different. Wrong burger. It's one of those irritating things that the bag is packed tight so it's a pain to unload the burger boxes to verify the order is correct. I am realizing I need to make the effort. I always hope for the best but seem to be left dissatisfied in the staff. Won't get me to stop coming but something has to give.

Brian B.

Yelp
Great food great service must try if in the area Ambiance is just okay it's a fast food restaurant
google avatar

Sasha E.

Yelp
They served us 2 cold burgers & frys. I kid you not I came home like in shock this was real. It was literally thrown together & look like a fake McDonald play food. Not worth 23+ dollars. I want my money back.

Toni F.

Yelp
If I could give a negative star I would. First, we had to wait at least 20mins sitting there, and nobody told us what was going on. When I rang the button, the manager answered in a very irritated tone and advised me that the longer I ask the longer my food will wait, like I dont have the right to ask when my food is taking forever. We waited again for at least 20mins more only to be told that they didn't have the ingredients we ordered. Zero communication from the time we ordered. We wasted almost an hour for nothing. Horrible customer service and management!!

Gayle D.

Yelp
We stop at this Culver's often. The food is very hot, totally fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and efficient. Definitely our "fast food" place. We also appreciate the coupons for urges on the back of the Fry's grocery receipts.

Page D.

Yelp
I've been to this Culvers 3 times and likely won't go again. First time was excellent when it had walleye pike on the menu. Fish was excellent and no delivery problems when I called in early. Second time, no walleye and order wasn't ready when I arrived at the time agreed upon. I had to wait 15 minutes in the parking lot for the order. Third time was a disaster. Apparently, it has its own way of pricing its sides other than its published menu pricing. Not only was the order not ready, I had to wait 20 minutes in the parking lot, was charged incorrectly, and was shorted an order of fries. Last time I'll use this Culvers.

Sally E.

Yelp
Culver's on 99th Ave in Glendale. Food was good, service Ok, unfortunately the place was filthy! There were 5+ teens working while there were 4 customers. Floors were filthy, women's bathroom the same plus it smelled like an outhouse (plumbing problem?). There was no excuse for such deplorable conditions with that few customers. I asked for the Mgr. One teen said he was "out on break". Will never go here again. Now I see why they have such a mediocre rating.
google avatar

Deni G.

Yelp
Nothing Special Culvers is an decent place to grab a good lunch or dinner. However, I didnt find anything special or spectacular. Culvers offers some different items from the ordinary burger shops. Today, I had a grilled chicken sandwich and french fries and cost about $8. I guess Culver's has better fast food than most other fast food restaurants but nothing I would go out of the way for. All in all I guess it's a nice change of pace from the typical, Wendy's or McDonald's. Maybe, next time I will spluge and try one of the Ice cream treats look very good.

Yelp
Sooooo I absolutely love the burgers here but you guys completely neglected me. I ordered just a value basket and I watched you guys serve like 6 customers (not even including people in the drive through) and they all got their orders and I'm just sitting there... I'm no food service person but I don't think it should take almost a whole hour to make a double with fries ;-; please don't neglect me next time I come back.....

Noel D.

Yelp
Unbelievable. Waited 20 minutes for food. During that time watched 2 people have issues with their done in orders. Decided we should check our to go order in the car before leaving. The receipt was correct. Bacon was missing on 2 sandwiches. The burger ordered just without a bun was given to me as just a patty with cheese. I brought the food back in and it took over 15 minutes to re-make it. The second time, my chicken sandwich STILL had no bacon. The only thing done to the burger patty was it was thrown on top of some shredded lettuce. I went back in and just asked them to give me some bacon on the side so I could put it on myself. One side salad had cheese and tomato, the other was just lettuce, one slice of cucumber and croutons. Fríes were soft and mushy. $35 worth of food, over 45 minutes to get it, and it still wasn't what I would expect from Culver's.

Yelp
Met a wonderful person up at this location earlier in the week. It was during the lunch hour but it wasn't crowded at all. Service was friendly and exceptionally quick (minus a small cash register snafu.) Food was at our table quickly. Quality was excellent and of course I can't resist the diet root beer. I normally don't come to any Culver's anymore for drive-thru service, and it's also a bit pricey. But this was inside seating and the service was far better than what I've been use to in the past. I get they're crazy/busy before Cardinal's games!

Yelp
Awful Greasy and to say this is my 2nd time at a Culvers. The first one was in Queen Creek AZ off Ironwood. I ordered the fish n chips and my son ordered roast beef sandwich it was Wonderful so I thought to take my family when we were going out of town. THIS location was Horrendous!!! Bill came to $6xy sumthn of Greasiness!!! I posted the THICK CRUSTED FISH N CHIPS NO FISH JUST CRUSTY CRUST!!!! Piled a heap of crust onto the tray looking for the fish!!! The onion rings were burnt and thick just a thread of a sliver of onion!!! I emailed the Company directly and heard nothing from their "we'd love to hear from you"...... gross disappointed!

Yelp
This location needs some help. Stood at the counter with zero acknowledgment while two or three employees stepped up to print receipts or orders then walked away. Tables were dirty or sticky. The floor around the beverage station was so sticky it pulled my sandals off my feet. The kid who brought out our order slid it onto our table while looking in the opposite direction. Food was fine. I just hope the kitchen is cleaner than the dining room. I certainly don't expect fine dining service, but I think I'll stick to the drive thru. The girls who work the window are always friendly... and I can keep my shoes on my feet.

Page D.

Yelp
First let me say that it's hard for a mid-westerner to say anything negative about a Phoenix area restaurant that serves walleye pike, and it's always excellent at this restaurant. However, like Mr. Culver says, Friday night fish fry is a mid-west tradition. Hence the problem. There are too many mid-western transplants and too many others in the Valley who have come to love walleye pike. Friday night at this place is a zoo even though there are employees stepping on each other. I call my order in at least an hour before I pick it up, so I don't have to be directed to a parking space to wait. Even though I called in my order an hour before pickup, tonight I was directed to a parking space and had to wait 20 minutes, even though other customers came to the drive-up window and went. I'm guessing my call-in order must have been misplaced so they had to start from scratch. Word to the wise, avoid this place on Fridays....especially around dinner time or expect to spend an inordinate amount of time waiting at what is supposed to be a "fast-food" restaurant.

Chris R.

Yelp
I've been to many of the Culver's locations around town and it's usually at least okay. It's fast food I don't expect much. I stopped here for lunch before work and asked for a butter burger combo with side salad. I didn't pay too much attention until I received the food. The food arrived fast and was good, but I received a double burger instead of a single which what I wanted.

Yelp
Fresh food made and brought to the table. Daughter number 2 and I decided to break for lunch at Culver's after shopping. We had a coupon for Buy 1 Value Basket and Get 1 Free. We ordered the Culver's Deluxe Basket and the North Atlantic Cod Value Basket ($8.50 each). Later, we purchased a Deluxe Snack Pack (around $5). The Butterburger at Culver's comes with a nicely toasted bun. The burger is tasty and the veggies are fresh. We adore their Culver's root beer almost as draft A&W. Not quite, though. The North Atlantic Cod came beer battered, but the sandwich seemed a little small to me. Crinkle cut fries are plentiful in the basket. I got their sweet potato fries. It was nicely fried. The value baskets are generous in their fries. You also get a medium drink. Without a coupon, I believe that the snack pack was better price-performance. We had our fill, and sadly, did not finish our fries. We will come back again.

Yelp
Stopped in to buy me and five of my coworkers lunch but wasn't able to eat there because they do not have Apple Pay/Samsung pay it is 2021 The food is already expensive and for them not to have Apple Pay is super trash owner need to step his game up

Yelp
so it's 8pm on a monday . 1/1 . and yall closing early ? sat in line 15 minutes and then they just refused to take my order cus you're closing early ? not ok. you're supposed to finish serving the customers in line if you're "closing early" . you don't just make someone wait 15 minutes and refuse to serve . go kys

David G.

Yelp
Normally Culver's is the place to go but as I pull up they're closed earlier than the hours say online because of a Christmas party?? Never had I heard of a fast food restaurant closing early to have a Christmas party, at least make that known online at the very least. I'm significantly disappointed in the service.

OMG how can people eat this much cheese? I thought I was hardcore. I'm not. I got some sort of Colby burger with a side of cheese curds. I wanted as close to the Wisconsin experience as I could get...at least without the alcohol poisoning. My problem was not how rich this food was, and you'd be silly to come here and not understand what you're getting into. My issue was how *bland* it was. The crunchy bits of onion straws and little dab of what I believe to be steak sauce didn't help. The bun was flavorless and not even toasted. Do you even use salt and pepper on your meat? I was more excited about the signature root beer...and the giant TV tuned into the NBA playoffs. Service was surprisingly polite. Like, even better than In n Out. I'm not saying it's bad, just that I really don't get it. Seems like a great hangover cure, though.
