I've been coming to Cumbrae's for a couple of years now and even though the prices are steeper than most butcher shops, you get what you pay for.
I think where Cumbrae's stands out the most is their pork - specifically their sausages and bacon. At $11.99/lb you better believe that they have the best bacon and they definitely do. Their sausages are the best I've ever had too. They're never too fatty so they don't shrink in size like lower quality sausages, the flavor combinations are great and I don't feel lethargic after them (like I do with ones bought from the grocery store). My favorite is the bacon and spinach one which they always have, but at Thanksgiving they had a turkey one which I was skeptical about as I've had terrible turkey sausages before, and I was blown away at how tasty it was. Recently I also had a ham, leek and gruyere one that was equally as delicious.
Another favorite is the whole marinated chicken with lemon/herbs, it goes great on the bbq. Their wings are also good - they are slightly smaller in size than ones I've gotten at Sanagan's, but I don't mind that at all.
Their prepared foods are good, definitely expensive but if you're too lazy to make dinner, it's not a bad option. Their meat pies are delicious - they don't skimp on the chunks of beef and the crust is nice and flaky.
Lastly, I can't forget about their hot sandwiches, specifically the Philly Steak one. The meat is tender and juicy, it's the perfect sandwich.
If you need cheese, you're definitely paying a premium for it.
Overall I think this is my favorite butcher in the city, just remember that you get what you pay for - their meat is of much higher quality than what you get at the grocery store.
