We visited this restaurant on the way back from Glass Beach in Fort Bragg for dinner. As one can imagine after 2.5 hours drive on windy road on CA128, the stomach was all well twisted and ready for a heavy dinner to finish up remaining 1.5 hours drive to get home. We were greeted by Amrit (our server) with a smile and he arranged a table for us. We ordered a lot of food but the highlight was Daal Makhani and mango chutney; I don’t think we had that good of Daal and chutney ever before in Bay Area. The service was top notch, especially, the timing and gaps between the appetizers and main course was well balanced. The ambience was very calm and quiet. Anytime in future; if we will be heading up north from Bay Area this restaurant will be our all time favorite stop to grab a lunch or dinner. Thank you so much Cumin staff!! And… we were so hungry that we forgot to click food pics …

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I had an amazing experience at Cumin Indian Nepalese Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. Every dish was fresh, well-presented, and reminded me of home-style cooking with a fine-dining touch. The service was excellent, and I especially want to mention Binod, who went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations from the menu. It really showed that he cares about the guests and their satisfaction. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, perfect for both family gatherings and casual dining. Everything felt very clean, comfortable, and inviting. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves Indian and Nepalese cuisine. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

In my humble opinion the best Indian food in Santa Rosa. The guys working the restaurant are all very friendly and helpful. It’s a simple restaurant that’s very much hidden away. I’ve had a variety of curries and found them to be very good. I haven’t tried any tandoori dishes. Definitely will be back again to dine in. Prices are very reasonable.

It was an average indian restaurant. Many Indian food choices are available here, surprisingly Indian food got fried rice, I guess this has been localized, overall the price is acceptable. Service is good. Visit during dinner time, surprised not many people in the restaurant, I believe mostly they are doing take away orders.

Food was so good! My new favorite spot for Indian. It's tucked away behind the Flamingo and you would never know it's there but it's worth checking out if Indian cuisine is your thing. Prices are good and the staff was nice/friendly

A great place with great taste! Most of the restaurants fail to prepare the Gobi Manchurian the way I ask but this one did it! Not much, I just ask for the dry Manchurian so that it won't become soggy and looks like curry. The waiter listened and prepared it dry and crunchy. He was a great convo starter asking about our preferences and checking on us about the taste. Even the Chana Masala was good.

Ordered the Chicken Tiki Marsala, and it was absolutely a poor rendition of this dish. The chicken tasted like it was frozen past its prime, and the flavor of the marsala was like a spicy tomato soup. It really lacked the many vibrant flavors that are characterized in a great Chicken Tiki Marsala. Was highly disappointed... However, the Samosa's and garlic Naan bread were good.

Very nice surprise. We recently tried Cumin after already enjoying two Indian/Nepalese restaurants nearby. The tastes here were wonderfully different from what we've had elsewhere. Service was good and parking was plentiful. We will return. It's only a couple of miles from home.
