Delicious breakfast joint in the Kenton neighborhood. Service wasn't as slow as some other reviews claimed, and they had some really great sweet potato fries. Will go back again!

Well known Portland chain for breakfast and lunch we ate with a variety of people with all different diets and everyone was able to get a great dish, even vegan options. About average prices on everything and the service has been great every time we go. The servers do a great job explaining the specials and taking any special requests. We went in after the brunch rush and didn't wait more than 2 minutes to get seated, but it can take quite a bit more (over 30 minutes one time we didn't wait for rush to end) to get seated. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and casual breakfast place.

The wait staff is great, very friendly and attentive. However, it is probably going to be awhile before going back. The food is so inconsistent. I got the World Famous Garden Scramble again today, it was so over cooked I couldn't eat it. I ordered a side of bacon, it was overcooked. I asked for some over easy eggs instead after trying to eat at least some of it, but it was that bad. Anyway the server decided to not charge me for the eggs I ordered as a replacement....... What she should have done was subtracted the $11.75 for the horrible scramble I received. I didn't make a big deal because I'm just fed up with the poor quality food. And while I'm on it, the floors inside this restaurant are disgusting. There is no way to tell if the floors are actually clean. Sad because I'm a local and there just aren't any other good breakfast restaurants close. Oh, I guess there is Milk Glass and that place is yummy.

Great food, terrible service. The waitress came to our table of 6 and said she ran out of spoons. We thought she was joking until we looked down to see two spoons. The food took forever and there were only a few other customers in there. It took forever to get a check and they couldn't split it.

One of my fav Kenton spots. I live right down the street so it's really convenient, and the brunch menu is always on point. However, in recent years it's become one of "those" brunch spots in Portland. If you come at the wrong time, expect to wait a half hour or so, and service might be kind of slow too.

Currently I am sitting in the Cup and Saucer, looking at 5 empty tables. But for some reason there is a line to be seated. The waiting list that customers sign is on the end of a booth that people are eating. This is so bad and so amateur, but for some reason I stay. On the plus side the food is acceptable and my female friend keeps saying the waiter is cute.

Great place to get a booth on a weekday morning when it's slow. I had bacon, eggs, and a pancake which was pretty good. Friend had biscuits and gravy (they only have vegetarian gravy for some reason)..was ok for what it was. Coffee is decent but I like darker roast. It's standard pdx coffee that is not "overroasted" (I like overroasted/burned, I am a savage with no taste). Don't go on the weekends, there is nothing worth waiting around for here, but it's cool for a weekday bacon and eggs trip. Server was very nice and did a good job.

Breakfast all day and vegan/vegetarian friendly, there's something tasty on the menu for everyone. They have interesting specials too - I recommend the curried tofu scramble when it's available - delicious!
