"Cup & Spoon, Humboldt Park. Pop tarts for grown-ups, sandwiches almost too pretty to eat, and an eclectic variety of caffeinated potables. Everything’s 1000% local, including the art. Better than ‘Bucks and punnier too. Stop by on a Sunday for their farmers market, held a few doors down at the mural garden. Or if you're more performatively-inclined, let your flag fly at one of their regular open mic nights."

The lavender and honey latte was amazing. Highly recommended. Update: The teddy bear latte art in my (delicious) jasmine hot chocolate made me smile each time I saw it. <3 Update: Normally service is swift and great, but I am never coming on a Saturday morning ever again. It's been over 20 minutes. People next to me actually changed their order to two drips so that they could get coffee and get home.

Rough service for such expensive coffee. Ordered a 6oz latte and a tiny pastry (which was super thin and not that good) and it cost me almost $10.00. There are better places with better coffee, prices and service. Go here only if it is really cold and need to warm up.

I had heard great things about this coffee shop from a biased source so I entered into the experience cautiously. In the end, however, I found that my biased source had been understated in her praise. Cup & Spoon is a refreshing break from soulless corporate coffee shops that have become so predictable in their presentation. Owner Rosie Quasarano serves up love by the cupful along with a great selection of entrees that are perfect in presentation and portion. After much deliberation I chose the bagel with lox and cream cheese along with a red-eye of delicious coffee. I would have liked to try the grilled cheese sandwich and lumberjack latte as well, but I didn't want to over do it. In addition to the great coffee and food, there are multiple workspaces tucked into a wide variety of situations -- Rosie does a lot within a small, cozy space. I would have loved to work at the window seat while watching the traffic go by but that will have to wait as well. I'm a huge fan of excellence and Rosie has nailed it with a very special combination of coffee, food and environment. Treat yourself to the Cup & Spoon experience soon...

A more mellow traditional coffee shop compared to all the eclectic wild ones in the area. Service was friendly and coffee was on point. Looks like that had a limited breakfast menu If you need a bite. No vegen options jumped out at me.

Cup and Spoon is my local cafe and I'm so happy about an independent woman-owned local art-supporting small business in the neighborhood! Speciality drinks are on point and the available food is delicious. Staff are all great and the atmosphere is bright and cozy. I wish there were a few gluten-free options. I knocked off a star because if you're rushing to get to work or in any kind of hurry, be warned that they can be slow even for a small operation. I've waited upwards of 20 minutes for a bagel sandwich and latte with very few people in front of me.

We got the red eye and electric lemonade, my husband (who's a coffee snob) said it's one of the best cups of coffee he's ever had! Pastries looked good but no vegan options. Nice clean atmosphere, helpful staff.

Cute little spot. Peanut butter cookie was delicious, and they warmed it up for me! They have a lot of different brewing methods (drip, Chemex, French Press, etc.) which was exciting as I haven't been any where lately with all those options. Staff was friendly and helpful, definitely knew their coffee. Was a good quiet afternoon work spot.
