Yelp
I go to the not so good places like this with my side chick so my wife don't find out. I take full responsibility of hiding my side chick because she isn't fit to meety family. She isn't presentable

Yelp
George Floyd was killed here. The food was ok. Memories that will last forever. Always in our hearts.

Yelp
This was ground zero for where it happened to George Floyd (Imez Wright). Come support this local business that saw an atrocity outside its door and is now part of a living memorial. It's one part fast food restaurant and one part deli, got some Reese's from here, I recommend it.

Yelp
One stop shop. Everyone knows that. Great food. Great service. The community loves this place. And they live us back. Always has. Always will.

Yelp
I came by this store while I was In Minneapolis. Such a kind group of employees here. Food was fresh and enjoyable.

Yelp
If your clear on what you want the food is amazing. And maybe a little bit of a wait 4 the other services but the food is it good if you are clear on what you want.

Yelp
This is the place where you die if you have a fake bill, that you received somewhere else. They will call the police and have you terminated. I don't think this business should be allowed to remain open. They don't know how to handle basic customer service. If Mr. Floyd did have a bad check?? You simply refuse service and let him go! You guys escalated the situation by calling in racist cops. You are as much responsible for his death!

Yelp
How this place has anything more than 1 star is beyond me.. it's dirty, the staff is rude, most of their food is expired and there's a 50/50 chance you get shot or mugged going into the place. Keep driving

Yelp
I have frequently used this store off and on for over 20 years, and have had mixed opinions regarding the customer service, which I must say is poor at best. The staff is very limited in their ability to serve customers and seem to have very minimal training and even less skill and they are rude and disrespectful. The store itself is in poor condition, with never ending construction projects to "improve" the business. The kitchen and dining area, are filthy and disgustingly filthy as is the counter area where I have seen roaches crawling at various times, which is the reason I would NEVER purchase their food. I used to be quite friendly with the owners, however, after a recent negative experience there, I will not be a return customer. Their business practices are poor as are their customer relations skills. If I could give less than one star I would, however, that's not an option.

Yelp
TASTY. Got delivery from UberEats with a $15 off promo. Gyro was good. Plenty of gyro meat, and it tasted great. I would order that again without a second thought. The fries and onion rings were perfect. They were crispy, hot, and they weren't greasy. I'm impressed! I used to have some negative connotations about this place, but it's always nice to be proven wrong.

Yelp
Let's be upfront about it. Cup foods looks ghettofied. If they changed their name it would go a long way to getting a larger, broader clientele. Not advertising that they take foodstamps would accomplish much in the same direction. (Seward co-op takes WIC and foodstamps but they don't say so in the window.) I say this only because I think that Cup foods is shooting itself in the foot a little bit with their outward appearance. It's a bit like the tough black-leather-wearing kid in school that's really kind of a sweet mush pot inside. The truth is, Cup foods is a pretty great little corner store. The owner is very nice and the workers actually care. Really. Once I walked in, went straight to the produce section, didn't see what I was looking for and started to walk out. A dude that truly looked like a body guard asked if he could help me find something. When I told him what I was after, he called the produce guy over who explained to me in detail why they were out of what I was looking for and that they would have it in again in a few days. Both were genuinely amiable. You're not going to find that level of customer service at CuB foods. Bonus for me: They sell both the brand of coconut milk that I prefer AND Mexican coke in the glass bottle. Yep, the kind that is made with real sugar instead of nasty bio toxic high fructose corn syrup. Yay. :)

Yelp
FORGET TMOBILE STORE TECHS AND BEST BUY FOR BUNGLED SAMSUNG SOFTWARE UPDATES, JUST GO TO ADAM AT CUP FOODS. On October 10, my phone, Samsung Note 4, received from Tmobile an automated software update. After that update, my phone did not work the same again. It had an issue with a screen overlay which would not allow me access certain apps at certain times and would randomly should my phone calling/receiving capabilities down. I went the store Tmobile. A bust. Called Tmobile tech. She told me to "reflash" the phone , reload the software, from Best Buy. Called BestBuy. They can't or won't do it. Now steps in our hero ADAM FRO CUP FOODS. He CAN and DOES reflash my phone with even MORE UPDATED SOFTWARE THAN TMOBILE WHICH CORRECTED THE INFURIATING PROBLEM !!! TMOBILE GAVE ME THE INFERIOR SOFTWARE WHICH CAUSED THE PROBLEM!!!! THANK YOU ADAM!!

Yelp
I was in urgent need of replacement of the shattered display on my galaxy note 4. I tried 5 other places on my way to Abbot Northwestern from the North suburbs, My quest led me to a freaking deli in a ghettoish part of town (with great yelp reviews). Upon entry, I was pleasantly greeted by a young middle eastern man who ran the cellphone repair section. He quoted me a fair price ($170.), and promised 2 hour service. I grabbed some of their delicious wings and a mexican coke, and headed out. I returned 2 hours later--9:30 pm on a Saturday night mind you, and my phone was gracefully handed to me in perfect working order. Super fast, super nice service, good price great food. Need I say more?

Yelp
I met the proprietor, Samir, recently as I was in the store taking pictures of my neighborhood and the interesting characters that inhabit it. He was very friendly and has been tending the store there for the last 21 years! I was honestly surprised with the selection and freshness of their produce. All the produce looked very edible and well-tended Unfortunately, the store has a deli and grill that sells mostly deep fried American food that I would never eat. They have a butcher shop, refrigerated and freezer section and a mobile phone business located within the store as well. All of a sudden, during my visit the whole store went quiet to have the late afternoon Muslim prayer. It was cool to witness and feel the difference in the vibe of the store and all the customers. A couple minutes later, the usual din of the store resumed with the loud sports on the large TV screen, the fry cook deep frying chicken wings and the laughing customers bantering about the usual.

Yelp
This place is very affordable and fresh! I'm a regular customer! They serve yummy breakfast burritos and sandwiches. I have also stopped by for lunch and their salads are AMAZING!!! The gentlemen at the cash register are always very polite. I give 5 stars for the business owners and quality, walked in to grab a breakfast sandwich around 9:30am, I would like to include that Without a doubt, the fried chicken here is amazing, but what makes this a truly 5-star establishment is the customer service. The lady running things is so kind and warm, and it's obvious that she just loves what they do and wants nothing more than to make you happy with good food. I've always felt that food is love and this place embodies that more than any other place I've been to in Minneapolis so far.

Yelp
You would think it being in an iffy part of town would effect the service, but you would be wrong, the workers are extremely friendly it is a family environment, and they are quick and the prices are very reasonable highly recommended!!

Yelp
Love love love Cup Foods! The employees are ALWAYS so friendly and the food from the grill is amazing. I haven't tried many items as I am totally hooked on the gyro, perfection! My boyfriend and I always share a large combo and this is the right amount of food for us, all for around nine bucks! It may seem a little sketchy from the outside, but once you're inside it's like it's own little community with everyone chatting and enjoying one another. Check it out!

Yelp
I went to ask about bringing my stone cold dead phone - purchased elsewhere - back to life. The service was done within 10-15 minutes with minimal charge. My expectations were exceeded. I was further impressed with the food selection and stocked up on a few things while I was at it.

Jeanie S.

Yelp
I love cup! The people there are so nice and they have a wide range of items more than other corners stores nearby. They are a little expensive but thats like all corner stores. I love going here when I just need a few things. And I really can't express enough how sweet and kind everyone who works here is!!

Mary B.

Yelp
A great neighborhood corner store. If you live nearby and visit regularly they will greet you every time you come in. Extra friendly and great sense of community. Love everyone from Nabil to every new person I've seen.
