Cupcake Royale

Cupcake Royale is my favorite cupcake shop in Seattle! The customer service is great and the clerks are always friendly to me. The atmosphere is very hip but also very casual and is a great place to meet up with a friend. It has a very coffee shop type of vibe. They serve cupcakes, coffee, and more! I have purchased several types of cupcakes from Cupcake Royale. All of them have been delicious. I especially love “the gay” cupcake and the red velvet cupcake. They are very good, tasty, and absolutely delicious. The cupcakes go great with ice cream as well. The cupcakes are a little on the pricey side, but they are a smaller business, not a national corporate chain, and they do produce high quality cupcakes, so the higher prices are to be expected, and well let’s face it, it’s Seattle and everything is high here. I highly recommend Cupcake Royale if you are looking for some delicious cupcakes!

Angel& malli is amazing 🩷 the strawberry was bombbbb!! Few friends joined and got some milkshakes on the hot days after our business meetings !!

If you want super fancy cupcakes, this is the place to go. Lots of creative tasty cupcakes to choose from. You’re paying for the innovation, ingredient quality, and philanthropic aspects too, so it does not come cheap. Great for a special occasion, whether it be a birthday or a treat-yo-self kind of day.

Today I arrived at the store around 5:43 PM and noticed a sign stating that the staff was on lunch and would return at 5:45 PM. Fair enough. Because I walked, I decided to wait. I waited patiently until approximately 5:52 PM, when I observed someone inside removing the sign. However, despite this, the door was not unlocked for me to enter. When I looked inside, there was no one in sight, and the chairs were atop the tables, giving the impression that the shop was closed. If the shop was closing early, this should have been communicated to your customers. It is disheartening to have waited outside the door without receiving any service or explanation. As a newer customer at Royale, this experience has left a negative impression, and I am reconsidering my decision to return. I believe this incident could have been prevented with better communication and customer service. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to improve the experience for your patrons in the future.

Cupcakes are really second to none. Service is fantastic. Their outlook of welcoming and inclusion of all people... ALL people is great. The only downside is cost, it truly is getting out of hand. I'll continue to be a loyal customer but over the last couple years, I've had to cut my visits to CR by more than half. Still love their product tho.

Sad to see the stores close but glad they have the pickup locations in Cap Hill and South Park.

I'm not too crazy about their cupcakes, honestly. They're dry and flavorless. My daughters love them, tho. I do like the frostings, I guess, but it's a lot of money for a cupcake that's not great. I don't get the hype.

I got some to give away. They didn’t put the dividers/inserts to put the cupcake steady. One fell over and I had to stand it upright and looks like it got eaten some. I was too embarrassed to give this to somebody else.
