My daughter and I came here after an appointment this morning, and WOW! The blood orange tea was incredible. The other one we got was too but I forget the name of it. We also got the most dreamy chocolate chip cookies I have ever had and the lemon bites, which were basically tiny lemon cupcakes. Delicious! The owner was so friendly and welcoming. This was really a great experience and we can’t wait to go back!

This place is awesome if you like teas, or “fresh” drinks. The staff is very nice and will offer suggestions if you’re unsure on what to order. I had the “sapphire blue” tea and a sweet potato scone, both were delicious. The setup here and “vibe” were awesome-good music and great decor. It’s located a bit off the beaten path which was nice as the location wasn’t too busy. The only downside is the seating, there are only two tables and a little bench off to the side. Other than the seating, this place is great. The selection of tea is wonderful, and you can even get to-go teas which is nice. They don’t offer hot breakfasts anymore (that I read from other reviews before visiting) but they do still serve pastries, such as muffins, pound cake, scones, etc.

I rarely give five stars but I truly did have a great experience. Despite the space being rather small it was very cute and clean. We enjoyed two flights of seasonal teas and a muffin. I’m no tea aficionado so we needed to understand more of the offerings and the first employee was very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised to learn of the vinyl record and book store in the neighboring storefront. It’s so lovely to support a black-owned business with good service and quality product. I hope I’m able to return sooner rather than later.

Super cute cozy small space for teas iced and hot. Great pastries, muffins lots of seasonal pumpkin flavored items. Lots to look at tasteful set up. Vast variety of teas. Limited space for dining in. More sweets than sandwich options. A definite!!!

Finally was able to pay my first visit to Cuples Teahouse and it did not disappoint. On Baltimore’s historic Howard Street it is an elegant place for all things tea. The menu and selection is impressive and varied. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. And the tea is fantastic. I only wish they had accessible wi-fi. Other than that it’s the perfect place for a meeting or just an oasis in the middle of the city for a brief moment of calm.

Black owned & operated nestled in the heart of Baltimore…. Five stars aren’t enough for this cozy, comfortable well served tea extravaganza! The owners Eric and Lynnette are knowledgeable, attentive, personable and so much more! They take you on a “tea journey” (and for now) the pastries are complimentary so GET THERE FAST! The teas are fresh, all natural and good for your health and soul! Whether you stop in, pick up and go or decide to sit and sip the environment is clean, friendly, comfortable and enjoyable. Pinky’s UP! ☕️

This place is EVERYTHING it needs to be!! We walked in and were greeted by friendly employees. The space itself was so inviting and calming. I would say its a must visit if you are ever in the area.

The elderberry elixir tea is sooo flavorful! The blueberry was also impressive, but let me tell you about these sweets!! We had a cranberry cinnamon roll and a sweet potato scone. The scone blew me away! Not too sweet, and paired perfectly with my tea. The environment is chill, 90s R&B music and vibes, and super friendly customer service! We haven’t left yet and already can’t wait to come back. 12/10 recommend!

Yelp
This is such a cute little space that packs a big punch. I have had couples tea many times before but had never been into their retail location until now. We went for a full tea service and it was worth every penny. There is almost too many options to choose from so i would say look for flavors you know you like and go with staff recommendations. The staff were very nice and informative and the snacks during the tea were the perfect pairing. Come for the varied tea options, stay for the cozy seating.

Yelp
I love this adorable cafe. The staff is pleasant and attentive. The ambiance is chic yet casual. The seating is comfortable so as to encourage you to stay for a while. The sheer number of teas they offer is beyond comprehension. I went with a spiced Chai latte with almond milk and was not disappointed. In fact, it's up there with the best I've ever had. I managed just enough willpower to avoid buying their tempting muffins and cakes but I'll be back to try them. The only knock against them is their limited hours. I have to plan to visit them but it's well worth the trip.

Yelp
I finally made it, on a perfect Thursday with a friend for tea and a catch up before work. This quaint tea shop has such a cozy feeling. I love the seating right in the windows and the high ceilings, it makes it feel like I'm visiting my favorite aunties house. The music was a good vibe and the service was great. We were greeted upon entry and offered menus and suggestions. We both got the elderberry elixir and loved it We got an opportunity to talk to the owner and learn all about the origin story and their super cool vinyl store next door, looking forward to going back and checking it out with a cup of tea.

Yelp
I learned about this tea house on IG and was excited to try it with a friend who also wanted to visit. It's quaint and cozy but that's how a tea house should feel (although I wish it had more seating so I could stay longer). However, if I want the experience at home, there were plenty of loosed and bagged tea options for sale. During my visit, the customer service experience was amazing! I was given the perfect suggestion for my order...so much so I finished my tea before leaving the block. So refreshing, so good. This place feels like a hug so I'll be back soon!

Yelp
Great selection of tea, the service was great! Our waiter knew everything about the selection and was really helpful with finding the right tea for us. The business is quaint and has a really comfortable atmosphere, extremely relaxed and enjoyed every sip!

Yelp
Loved this spot! Super cute inside and the baked goods are unreal. The woman helping us at the register was a sweetheart and so helpful. The muffin was maybe the best I've ever had, my dad got a cookie and is still talking about how good their cookies are lol. If you love unique tea flavors this is also a spot for you. Plus, it's Black-owned and local so definitely pop in and support.

Yelp
I wanted to enjoy a little "me" time so I decided to stop by Cuples Tea House on an early Saturday afternoon. When I arrived, I began to look over the menu and shortly after, I was greeted by one of the owners. I ended up ordering the tea flight and a sweet potato scone. I sat in their beautiful seating area to enjoy my tea. I guess the only downside is that the seating area is pretty small. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my experience. The owners are very nice and informative. I got the chance to learn about the teas I was drinking in addition to enjoying them. So basically, expect to have an interactive experience here. They also sell tea for you to enjoy at home as well. I ended up grabbing an iced tea to go and it was delicious as well. The flavors of the tea flight change monthly. The iced tea flavors change regularly as well but I'm not sure of the frequency. Cuples Tea House is located on Howard Street and not far from Mount Vernon Marketplace. I found parking in between both places and ended up walking to Mount Vernon Marketplace after visiting Cuples.

Yelp
Super cute cafe. Everything was delicious. Great for breakfast before work. There's no WiFi so it's not the best for co-working. It's family owned and operated they are very sweet.

Yelp
Rare blends that feed the soul! That's is exactly how I would describe Cuples Tea! I first came across cuples tea in 2019 as a private tea party and fell in love! Their teas are really ONE of a kind. Though their space may not be large their teas have a huge impact on the tastebuds! The shop itself is very intimate but they do have the space next door and outside for overflow. They also have delicious home made pastries that I would recommend trying as well. They also sell their teas for you to enjoy at home or gift! Parking is an option on a side street not far from the shop or you could ride share. The staff were friendly and helpful when picking teas to try. A cool feature they could add would be a tea flight haha. This could be a cool way to allow customers to try a variety of teas at once. I would also love to see them having maybe like tea brunches in their spaces which could be a ticketed event. Just some thoughts I have. I highly recommend this location for a tea date, meeting a friend or solo date

Yelp
Love the peppermint tea and intimate atmosphere of this place! The flight was a real treat. Can't recommend this place enough :)

Yelp
The venue is small and the parking is horrible but the food was good and the tea was good.

Yelp
I had been wanting to check this cafe out, it had been on my list. I finally got a chance to. I love the ambiance. Amira was very nice and knowledgeable. I bought the hibiscus and black tea, which I am enjoying still. I will definitely go back to try the other teas.

Yelp
Small, cozy beautiful tea house. They have a wide range of tea, so many flavors I haven't heard of before! The price range of tea bags range from $9-$16 so a little bit on the pricier end of tea, but I think it would be more cost-effective to order a tea pot for your visit instead of 1 tea cup. The tea pairs nicely with the pastries they provide. I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet potato scone. They also provide deli-like or cold lunches that are pre-packed. Parking is street parking on the street or around the block. In my visit, the wifi was not working so I had to use a personal hotspot for getting some work done with a colleague. Just keep that in mind when you plan to go there for tea and are hoping to get some work done. They also sell cute merchandise, so perfect way to get stuff for your tea-loving friends! Plus, support Black Owned businesses!

Yelp
Absolutely phenomenal. The workers were so friendly and kind and their energy was infectious. Best customer experience I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. And the Lavender Peach Rose tea? Don't even get me started, it was sooo yummy. They accidentally put honey in my tea and remade it without it because I found it a bit too sweet. And the savory Everything Biscuit with jam was divine. And inside was absolutely gorgeous and cozy. I will make every effort to come back regularly. Wish I could give more than five stars.

Yelp
After checking out Cajou (plant-based creamery) next door, I looked at the website for Cuples Tea House and their mission was so cool and inspiring, I just had to stop in and check it out. Cuples Tea House is a female + black owned business with the goal of inspiring healthier communities and educating people about the benefits of drinking tea. We got the chance to meet the owner and she was so friendly! She also made one of the best fresh brewed chai tea lattes with almond milk and agave I've ever had! The interior is absolutely a vibe, and the perfect place to hang out or grab a tea (and some fresh baked goods to go!) Apparently they also offer tea flights on the weekend, so I can't wait to come back and try some more teas! Check this tea house out the next time you're in Mount Vernon and you won't regret it!

Yelp
I am reviewing the bagged tea - and hope to very soon update my review with info about a visit to their Tea House. But I couldn't wait to share the great news that their loose black chai tea is perfect! I have a bag of it and have basically switched my home-tea-routine to include steeping this daily! The flavor is great and the sealed bag keeps it fresh on my counter. So far, 5 out of 5 for product - like I said, I can't wait to check out the location because the photos look amazing!

Yelp
Such an unexpected find! This tea shop is such a gem, the diverse selection of products are amazing, you can definitely taste the quality of the flavors and the customer service if absolutely top notch! Ive been looking for a tea house for a while and will definitely be coming back to enjoy the tea and sassy conversations.

Yelp
THIS is THE downtown Baltimore hidden GEM!! The owner's Eric and Lynnette (can't forget "Nephew Nate") are AMAZING!! Eric came by and explained each tea in explicit detail (where is came from, each ingredient, caffeine level etc.). The tea flight (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) gives you the opportunity to try some amazing teas. These owners pay SO much attention to detail that the samples are served warm so you can truly savor the intricate details. We also had a opportunity to try some sweets...O-M-G!!! This is a MUST try. We will be back, and back and back again. Street parking is bountiful and not expensive ($0.50/ hour). There is nothing to not love about this place...comfy, cozy and sooooo inviting.

Yelp
What a vibe! My sister friend and I were in town for a conference and stumbled upon this magical place. After a walk through the city, we enjoyed breakfast and tea. My girlfriend ordered the everything biscuit which she loved and I had a sweet potato scone (yes sweet potato) and two mini biscuits. I also had a glass of the Afro Blue Berry green tea. It was such great quality, I didn't even need a sweetener. Please be sure to visit them but check the website because they are closed Monday's and Tuesday's.

Yelp
I LOVE tea. I had wanted to support this business for a while and happened to see it while getting vegan ice cream on the same block. This place is a whole vibe. I loved seeing all the melanin in there. The music, decor all of it. The owners were so nice too! They were unfortunately closing so I couldn't nestle in a enjoy a cup but I bought two loose leaf varieties to make at home. I'd like to say I would be a regular but the location:/! I really hope this area gets more great shops like this to make it more inviting.

Yelp
Tea is not a rushed beverage. Especially when served at higher-temps! Its mello! For the organized and unrushed person. Rite amount of cafe` that comes in great blends! Unlike Coffee that hits yah with the 'big-bang' on those gas starting days! So if you're guessing I'm an advocate for tea, you betcha! So "If you say would you like a cup of tea?" Here's my consent. Tea is my second most desired drink any time of day! Served steamed or chilled!! And to share a treat I bumped into. I was offered Cuples ruby blend, 'Blood Orange!' Have to say 'WhataCuple' good tea it was! But...didn't stop there. Enjoyed a very slow-sipping cup of 'Chai Spiced' after unloading in the neighboring area. From one-tea-lover to another. She was right!! De'lish savory-spice! Full-bodied 'aroma!' Much flavor and not eh see-through brew. You know dah bag with the tassel yah-dip in Hot H`20 and finishing taste like blah! Well with impressed anticipation ordered my new sipping fav! Plus the Chai 'Masala Blend!' Even dah Bour'Bon too. May taste good with 'a' swirl of vanilla creme! Yea, I'm a little fancy.... Definitely eh sippers find! Tea house brews can be found in B'More and DC farmers markets! To hosting ~ tasting events!! When ordering online tea comes beaut'fully packaged. @cuplestea is on Instagram or website, www.cuplesteahouse.com

Yelp
Awesome Black Owned business in downtown Baltimore! Incredibly warm people to go with your warm cup of tea. Everything is tasty and it feels so welcoming to be there. Absolutely recommend.

Yelp
Great tea house. Eric was very helpful in guiding me through their exceptional choices of tea. I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
I visited with a friend on a Saturday morning. I had a great time. The breakfast sandwich and tea were delicious. The ambiance is great. The attention to detail was wonderful. The owners and staff were great hosts. I recommend it and will return. It is small but beautifully decorated and have a nice selection of items to purchase.

Abla S.

Yelp
The tea was delicious and the "tea flight" was an ingenious way to sample new things without needing to commit to a large amount.
