"Curadero’s sit-down restaurant is well worth a visit for those craving Mexican food, but for workers on-the-go who want something faster, their taco window is ideal for lunch time." - Jackie Bryant

Looking for the real deal? Then look no further! Curadero menu is authentic, and the flavors and service is truly wonderful. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. So give your taste buds a refreshing change and check Curadero out.

The redesign came out great! Love the new decor, although the core of the space did not change a whole lot. Ended up sitting at the bar, after attempting the dining room, but the energy at the bar was more appealing. Ordered a beer and a glass of wine, as well as the suadero tacos. I enjoyed the chips and salsa that arrived as well. Especially the pickled veggies. The tacos were great flavor, but very greasy. The fat was running all over the plate and I had to request a couple extra tortillas just to get some dry grip on the taco. It appears that the kitchen is located elsewhere and staff communicates via walkie talkies, which resulted in a much longer wait on the additional tacos than should have required.

Came here for restaurant week. Even with those deal I don't think this place is worth it, foodwise. Ambiance and staff are both fantastic. Overpriced overall though, even for San Diego.

Amazing Mexican food in the middle of Gaslamp. The service is kind, prices are fair and the food preparation and flavors are just exceptional. Highly recommended.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or Drinks this was my favorite spot in San Diego. Best selection of tequilas and mezcals to pair with a great menu. Fun and welcoming.

Visiting San Diego for work and stumbled across this spot on my way to another restaurant and decided to stop in and give it a go. I'm glad that I did, the service was wonderful and the food was great. The complementary salsas were amazing. Also give the quesadillas a go. Very different from what you usually find, they were a wonderful blend of mushrooms and cheese accompanied by an unique and well done peanut salsa. The barbacoa was the most tender and flavorful that I've ever had, and the cocktails were great as well. I'll definitely give them another visit before I leave town.

Highly recommend this new Mexican restaurant. The Chamorro pork was phenomenal. Fall off the bone tender. The flavor was exquisite. I don't normally get dessert but the food was so good I had to try the churros and I wasn't disappointed. The Mexican chocolate dipping sauce was a delicious addition and surprisingly the two were not excessively sweet together. Will be back soon.

I was really excited to try this place because I wanted fish tacos. The menu had a breaded taco but was diverse enough to entice me to eat. I ordered Pozole and a tamale and the price point was perfect. I would rate the food as average with only getting 2 chunks of meat in my Pozole (1 part had so much fat it did not have any meat). The garnishes took over the dish. The tamale was okay and I was still hungry so I ordered the cocktail camaron. It was again average. Don't necessarily need to return. Experience was not bad, but not worth raving about.
