Google
This is the type of coffee shop you come into just planning to get coffee but end up getting pastries and other food because everything looks delicious!!! The space is well laid out- lots of seating options both inside and outside and it’s not even that big! Service is friendly. Coffee, match are both great! Their to stay cold coffee cup were nice to drink out of. Their quiche was out of this world! I took a bite from a family member and ordered a piece to go! Def will be back!

Google
Great coffee, clean shop, friendly staff. Can't ask for much more. They make their own pastries and had a vegan muffin. Awesome!

Nicole Meyers

Google
Lovely little shop. They have coffee and pastries in the am and wine and cheese at night. Great spot for a casual spot to meet a friend but with high quality options. I see a lot of families with kids/strollers in here too so I get the feel it’s kid friendly. Met the owners before who were so so kind!

Hands down one of the best spots. Coffee is superior! I enjoyed a pour over and my wife the Maple Rosemary latte. Both were so tasty and the quality, second to none. The latte art was also pristine! Then we enjoyed the Apple Prosciutto sandwich, we couldn’t stop saying wow after every bite! Finally the service was outstanding, the manager brought out water and we didn’t even ask.

Anne Nottingham

Google
Excellent coffee and pastries! This small coffee shop was right across from our hotel, so it was extremely convenient. The service was amazing as well. If I find myself in the area again, I will definitely stop in.

Google
If a hug were a drink… it would be the bonfire tea latte at Curate. I never (and I mean never) choose to order tea over coffee with this single exception. The coffee is incredible too though. The best, frankly. Don’t even get me started on the in-house, baked fresh daily pastries. This place is a local gem.

Phatty Arbuckle

Google
Scrumptious baked goods and coffee!! The atmosphere is exactly what Annapolis needed in a new coffee shop... Small, fresh, newer interior design, upbeat staff. We enjoyed an almond brioche bread and salmon sandwich... Both were delightful.

Sue Lee

Google
Nice ambiance, wonderful coffee and great location! Our Latte was just perfect!

Yelp
Breakfast sandwiches were delicious and huge. Recommend splitting. Lattes were perfect Ambiance was excellent.

Yelp
I stopped by Curate last week in the last hour before they closed, since I had some work I wanted to get done before I drove back to Baltimore. Curate is open until 6:00 Monday through Saturday and until 5:00 on Sundays, which is great for those of that do like late afternoon or early evening coffees! But Curate isn't just a coffee shop, either. Curate is a cafe and bakery but also a wine and bottle shop. It's not large, but it's not the tiniest, either! Definitely great seating for studying or working. When I arrived around 5:00 on a weekday, almost every table was still taken up by someone enjoying a coffee or pastry and getting some work or studying done! Good seating, good lighting, lots of outlets for charging. I had a cappuccino (very good) and a scone (also very good), but they offer the full range of things you would expect from a coffee shop and bakery. Overall, a place I'm sure I'll return to get a coffee sometime soon!

Brian B.

Yelp
I see the appeal when you enter into this cozy, clean, small place. It's loud but not too loud, locals love this place. The coffee selection is minimal but the options are good and the incidents that go in the coffee and the pastries are mostly homemade. Overall the service was friendly, and helpful, that is much appreciated. We ordered a varsity of pastries and weren't I. Love with any but the sea salt brownie. The scone was okay everything else was...not that grata honestly. I think I would go back during the am hours to try the pastries fresh. As of today I wasn't impressed. The good about this is that the prices were right so not overpriced. They deserve another opportunity but I'll go somewhere else first before I'm back.

Yelp
Belated review from my visit in late September. Ordered: - Pumpkin spice latte (3/5): We were curious about this seasonal item but unfortunately we didn't love it. The pumpkin spice wasn't a big star in the drink and we found that the acidity of the coffee stood at the forefront, overpowering the other aspects of the drink. It wasn't a dealbreaker though, and we still finished it. Overall (3/5): Loved the aesthetic and vibes in here but unfortunately the seasonal drink wasn't to our taste. The service was quick on making the drink though so that's a plus one. Maybe the usual menu would have impressed us more.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our lattes here; however, the real star of the show was the coffee cake we had. It was literally incredible. 10/10 recommend! There is a good amount of seating. We didn't have a hard time finding a table or a parking spot which was awesome. The barista was really friendly and helpful. We definitely would recommend coming to Curate Annapolis! We will be returning!

Yelp
This was a nice coffee shop located in Annapolis. This is a great spot to have a cup of coffee to catch up with a friend or to get some remote work done. The latte was excellent. Service was OK, it was not clear where the coffee would be available for pickup and the day I visited it was not very busy, so it felt awkward to not have have a clear interaction with the barista that the coffee was ready. I also did not like the presence of many fruit flies over the pastries and bread, it was a turn off from wanting to purchase food. Street parking and parking garage available close by the coffee shop. The restroom was clean and organized.

Sue L.

Yelp
Nice ambiance, wonderful coffee and great location! Our Latte was just perfect! Highly recommended this cafe.

Yelp
A nice little cafe within walking distance from our hotel. What I loved about this cafe is that most of their baked goods came with sweet and savory options - like their cinnamon roll had a sweet onion roll. And their quiche was so good - so creamy and fluffy. I'm pretty sure they added some kind of chevere or goat cheese bc it had a slight tang. But one of the fluffiest quiches I've ever had. Service was prompt, but they don't call out your name when your order is ready, which I found peculiar. Definitely worth writing home about!

Yelp
Me & the girls were visiting the Annapolis area and stumbled upon Curate. So glad we did. We tried a little bit of everything here's how it went: My friends would rate the honey latte with cinnamon on top a strong 9/10 Frothy & decadent. I had the iced caramel latte. When I say it's the best I've ever had (top 2 at the least) I mean it. Just the right amount of sweetness. Even the ice complemented it nicely Easy 10/10. I had the grilled cheese with tomato and bacon. Cheese to bread ratio was perfect. Not too much but plentiful at the same time. Only thing I'd change was a tad bit more toast on the bread. But the cheese paired nicely. It was served with a choice of fruit or salad. I opted for the salad which was a mildly peppery arugula with fresh blue berries (the combination I didn't know I needed) drizzled just enough with a light dressing. 8.5/10 Bacon egg and cheese sandwich served on a roll. Pretty straightforward eggs were fluffy with crunchy bacon. You can't go wrong. I'd say sold 8/10 Was most excited for the quiche...it was good. Fluffy airy egg center. Crust toasted nicely but, it didn't stand out as much as everything else. Not bad by any means but probably wouldn't order again. 6/10 Soup of the day was curry sweet potato with lentil. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this was. It wasn't spicy but had the right amount of kick. Very flavorful & I kept going back for more. Big bowl too. 9/10 Best for last.... I wouldn't have choose it myself but man, that wild berry muffin was my favorite part. I had half of my friends. The berries were so fresh and were consistent all the way through. It was delicious 11/10 for sure. If you get a chance, definitely give this place a try. with some many options there's something for everyone. The employees were very polite as well. Looking forward to coming back to the area just for this place.

Alekhya C.

Yelp
Love the scones here! They have a delicious blueberry and jalapeño/cheddar as well as seasonal offerings like pumpkin ginger. Never tried the other pastries bc the scones are just so darn good! Make sure you ask them to heat it up for you. Service is quick and there's indoor and outdoor seating. This is a popular place for co working or work meetings during the weekdays. Not a big coffee drinker but have heard their drinks are good as well!

Corina G.

Yelp
Food and coffee were decent and the coffee shop was cute. But, I have to give a low rating because the service was extremely questionable. The cashier said that a simple breakfast sandwich would take 15 minutes because she was the only one there but there was another lady working in the back so that was a little strange. Then when my friend tried to change her order, the cashier rolled her eyes, which was pretty rude. When I went to pick up my order, the process was again weirdly strange. No one ever called out my name or order. The lady just placed it on the counter. I had to guess which food and drink were mine and when I asked the lady if that was my order, she was like I don't know. So so so strange!! I'm dumbfounded by this. Anyway, this place would be great if they hired people who gave a damn.

Erin L.

Yelp
I am so sad that I don't live anywhere near Curate because I think they make the BEST LATTE I've ever had!!! I visited this coffee shop several times over the summer when I was in town for a wedding and I ordered their Honey Cinnamon latte every time. I'm not even sure how to describe it other than it was DIVINE. Seriously, I could drink it every day. This cafe is a must-try for espresso lovers.

Emily M.

Yelp
Ordered two lattes, a sweet scone and a breakfast sandwich. Both food items tasted stale and a week old. The scone was so hard it could be used as a weapon in a pinch lol. Lattes were good though.

Elaine F.

Yelp
This is a cute place on West Street, kind of in the Arts District. I met a friend there for coffee. There is metered street parking. The seating area was full & several people were working on laptops or chatting in pairs. People were friendly. The bakery items looked very tempting. They also had wine bottles displayed, so I guess it doubles as a wine bar later on. I will need to return to explore all the offerings

Eun P.

Yelp
Cute space with delicious coffee and scones. I tried the latte and a blueberry scone which was surprisingly moist. Parking can be a bit hard to find on busy days.

Misti M.

Yelp
I was looking for a place to stop in for a morning tea in Annapolis with a friend and Curate was one of the first that came through for me. The place was crowded on a Thursday morning, but the folks working behind the counter offered that we pull up bar stools to the counter to enjoy our drinks and scone. Very friendly and accommodating! The scone was fantastic! Ham and cheese - warmed up - mmm! We split one and each got a beverage and it was perfect!

Samantha M.

Yelp
Overwhelmingly Caucasian and serves limited food options. The sandwich I got was $15 and depressing. I definitely expected more from a 15 dollar sandwich. It was mostly bread, which also happened to be a cheap hamburger bun.... The side salad has blue berries and nuts in it with only one dressing option. I wouldn't have gotten it if I had realized it wasn't just a standard side salad (that's my fault though). Amazing if you're looking for free Wi-Fi and nothing else. You also buss your own table, which is annoying but at this point I'm biased due to my disappointment. Go to 49 west. It has a much more friendly atmosphere with better food and beverage options at a better price.

Dennis W.

Yelp
Not the best experience here. Their biggest shortfall is service. Did not have any decaf, then ordered a flat white (way over priced...almost $6!) After we paid, they started asking us how to make it. When it was too strong, we asked for a bit more milk, and the cashier began shaking her head and accused us of trying to get a 'latte' at the price of a 'flat white.' A very petty gesture to accuse paying customers of lying when they could have expressed enthusiasm in ensuring their patrons have the best experience possible. Needlessly pretentious and bad business sense. Truly unpleasant experience. Not customer friendly. There are so many options for great coffee in Annapolis. Recommend trying them over this place.

John A.

Yelp
Every time I think I've tried all that Annapolis has to offer I always stumble upon a new establishment. I'm not sure how long Curate Annapolis has been at this location but they are a solid business for those who enjoy coffee shops that offer much more than coffee. We arrived fairly early so everything you see in the pictures was freshly prepared. It is my understanding that some of the items do rotate but they always have some variation of the items you see while supplies last. I noticed they are using Ceremony Coffee another local establishment...it's packed with a strong coffee flavor so I had no objections. I did a basic coffee with a splash of cream and a little maple syrup. My food was warmed up in the oven and served perfectly with the best flaky crust I've had in a long time. More customers arrived throughout the morning so you could immediately tell this place is doing something right because majority were repeat customers. There's seating indoors, few tables outside, I saw a few dogs enter (for the pet lovers), and a few parking spaces right in front of the shop. Easy decision...yes I will be back.

Yelp
Just passed the Graduate Hotel in Annapolis' art district is a little coffee shop recommended by a few friends who live in Annapolis. Here's my experience going with my four-year-old daughter: 1) Coffee: They have a full coffee menu. I ordered a vanilla latte and it was very tasty and well brewed- nice and creamy. 2) Food: They have several pastry options. My ordered the banana nut muffin and I the coffee cake. Both were tasty, but the coffee cake takes...well...the cake. The texture was spot on with a strip of gooey coffee/cinnamon in the middle. 3) Space: It's small, but they make good use of the space. There are plenty of tables along the sides of the space with outlets. They also have two bathrooms in the back. 4) Service: Staff were attentive and friendly and even brought our food to our table.

May K.

Yelp
The latter was excellent and the blueberry scone is freshly made with lots of flavor! The staff are very nice and service is fast! The place is very clean with great vibe! Love and highly recommend this little coffee shop!

Tia M.

Yelp
Stopped in yesterday. Lovely baristas. Nice place to sit and have a coffee with friends. My cortado was well made. Other members of my party enjoyed their cappuccino and drip coffee as well. The scones are tasty and enormous. The strawberry rhubarb pie was gorgeous, but the lattice crust was under baked and a bit gummy. But it was still enjoyed. Would go back for sure.

Sarah H.

Yelp
Muffins are not the best Coffee is amazing. No menus to grab as waiting. Have parfait in fridge which is not on the menu. This was convenient to our hotel so we thought we'd try

Marta W.

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere, the sidewalk dining, the excellent and creative latte, and of course the St. Paddy's day cupcakes with the Lucky Charms (one topper per cupcake). I didn't actually eat one, that was pure eye candy, but we did thoroughly enjoy the two savory pastries we did have. ;) Nice people too.

Eldre B.

Yelp
Wonderful tasty treats & coffee during the Annapolis St Patrick's Day parade today! I would love it if I could visit Curate everyday!

Paul J.

Yelp
I'm still not sure what Curate actually is (they have a wine club?) but I can tell you they serve good, fresh coffee and pastries in the morning! I got a blueberry scone and a ginger molasses sandwich with an espresso to go and it hit the spot. The coffee was bitter and sweet and full of body. The blueberry scone was HUGE and crumbly, a perfect counter to the espresso. And the ginger molasses sandwich was just a sweet indulgence that I couldn't pass up. I don't know that I can be a spokesperson for Curate but if you're looking for good coffee and goodies in Annapolis, this place can't be beat!

Christine C.

Yelp
Fantastic food, fantastic coffee! Today we arrived to try this out, I'm not sure how I didn't notice that there was a new coffee shop in town?? But we arrived around 11 on a Sunday and was surprised It is not busier. But a local resident came in and was also surprised to hear they had been open 5 months. We ordered and sat down, prayed, and our food was out. Register person was friendly, but could have explained a bit more. She seemed shy. She brought our food out to us on plates and that was so sweet. We ordered a scone, vegan muffin, and a wheel, a shot of espresso for my husband, and a cortado with Oatmilk for me. The scone was amazing. The texture and size was perfect!!! I would have liked a bit more ginger flavor but It was amazing!! I love the chunks of peach. From what I understand, everything was made in house and It was all very fresh. The vegan muffin was a must try. It was coconut lime and the texture was perfect as well. Light and fluffy. Full of flavor. The everything pesto wheel was something like a croissant with amazing savory flavor. I wanted to eat three of these. So good, highly recommend!! The coffee was just right. The barista brought them out to us and was sweet. The Oatmilk was a perfect compliment to the espresso (maybe Ceremony espresso). It was all delicious!! We ended up meeting Joel the owner and had a very lovely conversation about the store and life. It was super pleasant and perfect accompaniment to our coffee date. We will definitely be back. I look forward to coming in the evening when the wine bar opens. Thank you foe a lovely morning!

RuthAnn L.

Yelp
The coffee is superb and the baked items looks amazing. The music is eclectic and not too loud. The staff is super friendly.

Charles M.

Yelp
This coffee spot in Annapolis is in an excellent location. There is parking directly out front on the street, but I don't know about the rear . They made the drinks from scratch and they have some great pastries. I believe we tried one or two. And there is a small amount of seating on the inside. Maybe about four or five tables and chairs. The baristas are highly skilled and polite.

Tiffany D.

Yelp
Such a cute little coffee shop. The decor is simple but very stylish. Its a great place to grab some snacks and relax with friends. GLOWS: - The chamomile& mint tea was amazing. Super soothing. - They are open until 5pm. We hung around until closing just relaxing at a high top table. - A small shop, but a variety of seating for various needs. - They have a nice cookie /baked goods selection. The ginger cookie sandwich was really good - They currently sell wine by the bottle. - They will soon serve wine by the glass- a nice touch to your coffee shop experience!

Tyler K.

Yelp
Great Cappuccino! Good place to sit down to work/chat/hang out! Whole place was clean.

Tia D.

Yelp
Decent coffee and hours are convenient if you're an early riser. I thought it was a little pricey for the size of the coffee and quality but if you're in the area and need caffeine, it isn't a terrible choice.

Carolyn C.

Yelp
Do you know how hard it is to find an espresso tonic in Maryland?! Extremely hard which is incredibly annoying, however, CURATE HAS ONE! They even added thyme and Lavendar to mine in addition to the orange zest. I loved it and will be stopping here each time I visit Annapolis. No one will understand my obsession with this fancy little creation but Curate nailed it.

Claire M.

Yelp
Fantastic cafe!! I had their gingerbread latte (with oatmilk) and breakfast sandwich. The latte had a great strong espresso taste and the gingerbread syrup was homemade- not too sweet, wonderfully flavorful. The breakfast sandwich was on a delectable homemade bun. Both were served in local handmade pottery, which is a great touch. Ambience inside is great.

Rob B.

Yelp
What's not to love? Very cute, nice selection of pastries, loved the Pumpkin Crumb muffin and the coffee coffee was respectable. Very friendly attentive service. They take apple pay so, it's great to stop in after a walk or jog.

Audra G.

Yelp
The coffee is amazing!!! It is brewed to perfection and the lattes are creamy & smooth. I am so happy I stumbled across this place & will now visit on every trip to USNA...you should too...you won't be disappointed. Oh, and the service is also amazing!

Scott M.

Yelp
The best bakery and coffee shop I've ever experienced! The food and coffee is exceptional and the service top notch! Beautiful art and decor as well!

Natalie H.

Yelp
If a hug were a drink... it would be the bonfire tea latte at Curate. I never (and I mean never) choose to order tea over coffee with this single exception. The coffee though is incredible too. Don't even get me started on the in house, baked fresh daily pastries. This place is a local gem.

Alicia W.

Yelp
I can't speak for the food but my husband and I popped in here quickly for cappuccinos to go and they were both very good, and the prices were much cheaper than other coffee houses. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We didn't stay as we had our dog and it was too cold to sit outside. Service was quick.

Naomi F.

Yelp
They have a good welcoming vibe. People are present engaged and enjoying the fresh baked goods. I got the Chocolate Batter Bites. Delicious.

Anne Marie D.

Yelp
There were 4 in our party, including a 10 year old. We went to the wine pairing on a Saturday night. Two of us were not wine drinkers and there were ample non-alcoholic choices. We ordered every board and two of the desserts. The food was scrumptious. The service friendly. The ambience comfortable. Every table was full, to include the outdoor tables. I was so struck by the myriad careful choices the owners had made from cutlery to pottery to custom mats under the flowers. This new place is slated to be a go-to destination in Annapolis. Can't wait to introduce more of my friends to CURATE.

Rana A.

Yelp
Cute place good coffee. The employees are very rude and unwelcoming though. Really killed our vibe. It's very unfortunate considering most people in the reviews had good things to say about them. Must be because we aren't white. I won't come back.

Nushi C.

Yelp
Today this gem opened in our great city. I have been a big fan of Brown Mustache Coffee since they opened several years back- the same owners and new partners have now opened this fresh unique coffee-pastries-wine shop right on West street across from The Graduate hotel. It's cutesy and minimal which I like- I tried the GF Orange muffin which was so moist and delicious. Black coffee was smooth and tasty and brought Everything savory muffin/twist for my hubby- he loved it. Joel and Colleen (the owners) were behind the countermand provided a cheerful and safe service. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Steven H.

Yelp
Curate Annapolis makes the best Mocha Lattes and Flat Whites ever! Their quiche was light and fluffy and their assortment of pastries taste amazing. We stopped by two days in a row to enjoy the ambiance, friendly staff, and cool vibe of this upscale coffee/kitchen/wine bar. If you are in the Annapolis area you must stop in.

Alejandra I.

Yelp
Best coffee!! Best muffins , band people are very nice! lo súper recomiendo! El ambiente super nicee

Sharon J.

Yelp
This is a nice little gem. It almost has a Cheer vibe. Their quiche is some of the best that I have ever tasted. It is creamy and light. The coffee choices are vast. If I lived in the neighborhood I would be there every day.

Chase S.

Yelp
This is the most incredible cafe/coffee/wine bar I've ever been to. the location, ambience, service, and quality are absolutely perfect. The coffee and espresso drinks are of the highest quality and the food is just as amazing. They hold events as well which are always so much fun and full of delicious wine and food, which I hear is all made from scratch! Joel and Colleen are the owners and they are frequently present, greeting folks with smiles and pleasant conversation. We've brought all our friends and family here and Curate has become my place to study or just simply to relax. Highly recommend!! Also check out Brown Mustache Coffee which is right down the road from Curate, I believe they own that too and it's just as cool!

Erin F.

Yelp
Curate is my favorite coffee shop in the Annapolis area! Their staff is consistently kind and helpful and their house made scones are to die for! Love this place and the energy inside.

Rajat S.

Yelp
The old lady at the counter needs hospitality training. They make good stuff but this is hospitality business. If you have a frown on your face and don't provide a good service you are going to be not in business for long. We ordered a few things - out from the start there was a frown on the face, did not even ask us if our order was to go or eat in - gave everything in a paper bag, asked us to collect our drink. Every other table in the restaurant was being served. When we asked "did you assume we were not eating in?" Pat came the answer "in some cases we do!". I guess it's the color of our skin that said we should not be eating in. :-). Either it was that or our two kids were not welcome - not sure what it was. Good luck staying in business if you antagonize tourists. Horrible place - will never visit again.
