Celebrated my wife's 40th with a variety of cheeses, meats, and gravilax from C and W. This was my third time in the shop and every time the owner was extremely helpful. He helped me choose a delicious brie, aged Gouda, aged cheddar, and the best Manchego. I also got some house made gravilax that I just couldn't get enough of! The smoked beef rib pictured was my own addition (yeah I'm showing off, so what) Location is conveniently located across the street from SavWay, a great place for wine.

Filthy place. We came to buy cheese. We left, fearing if we ate anything bought there, we'd likely get sick from it.

Don’t let the unassuming exterior fool you. This is an oasis of wonderful in a strip mall of despair. Awesome selection of cheeses, smoked salmon, and french breads — with friendly, knowledgeable service to boot. Highly recommended!

Curds and Whey does have the greatest seafood around. I especially love the salmon. Rob is also very nice and knowledgeable; he'll give you cooking tips if you ask. Besides the salmon I've tried the shrimp (the best I've gotten) and the whitefish and trout. He has an assortment of other specialty items. Highly recommend.

The owner Rob is friendly and knowledgeable of his products. I requested smoked trout and he had it delivered the following Thursday. In my opinion it's the best smoked fish and fresh fish in the Fox Valley!

Found Curds & Whey thru a cheese maker's website, then went to find them in Geneva. Alex had lots of useful info that helped me select some excellent cheeses. Hard to decide which ones to try, so was glad to have his input. I also got a very good loaf of raisin/nut bread. Looking forward to stopping in again sometime soon!

Amazing seafood, cheese and bread, all topped off with tremendous service and knowledgeable insight! Had the absolute best salmon of our life and cannot wait to have the cheese (again) tomorrow. Thank you for the great experience!

I would be extremely interested in visiting a nice cheese shop. I have looked in the window of this shop many times, however I just can’t bring myself to walk into the shop. It is visually so unappealing and disorganized. It does not look like a place that would serve anything edible. There are stacks of paper all over the place, piles of junk in the corners, and general disarray. A look at the shop through fresh eyes with guidance toward visual and sensory appeal would be highly recommended.

High-end cheese and fish without the typical high end attitude, they are so friendly and helpful and will answer any questions you have about their products. Basically a display case and a cooler and that's about it, not a "fancy" place but the products are fantastic. Looking forward to more visits.

Wonderful and knowledgeable staff, could not be happier with their enthusiastic service! Quaint cheese shop with delicious cheese curds and olives . They offer all that you might need for a lovely picnic or a party cheese board. Worth the drive to Geneva for delicious cheese selections.
