The Best New Orleans Restaurants to Reopen for Takeout and Delivery | Eater New Orleans

"Cure, the acclaimed Freret Street cocktail bar, opened its kitchen for takeout snacks (anchovies, pimento cheese, smoked trout dip) to accompany frozen drinks, wine, and beer daily from 3 to 7 p.m., with orders available online." - Clair Lorell

I started shopping at Cure Cooking for about 10 years. Chad always has a great assortment of meats to choose from (and not just cured meats) and plenty of stuff you won't find at your local supermarket. Great prices, too. Best of all, Chad and his crew love what they do, are super knowledgeable and never make you feel like you're asking a dumb question. Check out the website for what they have for sale. Changes weekly, so check often.

Stopped by this butcher shop, and it blew me away. They’re one of the only places around with American Wagyu, and everything we bought—steak, tallow, boudin, and bacon—was top-tier. The quality was unreal, and the guy working there was super nice and knew his stuff. If you care about good meat, this place is absolutely worth a stop.

I looked around the area and visited a few local meat shops, but Cure topped them all. A little shop with SO MANY delicious choices! The people running the store were nice and friendly. Great experience overall. I'm looking forward to trying everything my husband and I bought today.

I just grilled the wagyu hot dogs and it was some of the best food I've ever had.

Locally sourced and produced meats, cheeses and so many interesting flavor combinations of sausages! Though you can order from the website it’s a fun little trip to Fort Calhoun to see what’s new. Definitely want to try their classes as well. It’s no wonder these guys won the Omaha Food Day award a few years back.

Just Wow! We're from out of town and just happened to walk past the shop with the grandkids. OMG! We bought some nduja and some Sicilian sausage. Both were excellent. We'll definitely be going back when visiting again.

One of the most unique and fun experiences that we have ever had in a date. We did a private cooking class with another couple and had a blast. Chad is extremely knowledgeable and his passion for teaching and cooking shines through. I would highly recommend his classes to anyone and am looking forward to doing it again sometime soon.
