Cured & Crafted | Artisan Sandwiches

Had a great meal at Cured & Crafted! The ingredients were fresh and very flavorful! We tried the smash burger, Diavolo Italiano sandwich, and the chimichurri fries. Everything was absolutely delicious! Definitely will be back and I cannot recommend enough!

If you enjoy the office, parks n rec, Brooklyn 99 or arrested development, this sandwich shop has very good vibes! Regardless of that, lots of tasty sandwich creations and options. The staff were very friendly and service was fast. Look forward to coming back and trying the other sandwiches! Chimichurri fries, the Great Bourdain and Diavolo Italiano sandwiches pictured!

A great addition to the Jefferson Park neighborhood! I got the turkey etc. and my husband had the clubby—both delicious. They had a nice selection of chips and the fries were also good! The owner took our order and brought us our food, he was so nice and welcoming, and the vibe in the shop was cool. Excited to go back and keep trying new menu items, would absolutely recommend this place!

Don't walk here. Run!!! The sandwiches here are surprisingly well-crafted. I had a Turkey, Etc - A turkey, bacon, red onion, cheese, and tomato creation served on a soft sesame seed bun. All sandwiches are served hot. I heard they travel well. They deliver! I also had an order of their homemade onion rings. They were crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. They were delicious plain, but the accompanying Housemade Chipotle Mayo kicked the flavor next level. They don't serve sweets yet, but are working on it. If their choice of confections is as good as their sandwiches, that will be a treat, too.

Review based on delivery service order. Cannot vouch for service inside the restaurant. Not a good experience. Ordered the Italian sandwich. Sandwich was dry, small, not much meat, appears to have been microwaved, and expensive. There was only a thin layer of meat and the mortdella was missing/not on the sandwich. The cheese was melted and the outside edges of the meat were crinkled/crispy, like it had been microwaved. The bread was not toasted and it's not a hot sandwich, so I'm not sure how the cheese and meat got this way other than a microwave. It was about 8 inches in length and cost nearly $18. I'm not sure if I'll order from here again. I might try going to the restaurant and see if the in-person experience is better. I love local businesses but this was a miss for me. Hopefully this is a one-off.

You HAVE to check this place out! Delicious food, reasonable prices and unique options, kind and helpful service. We had the Chimmichuri Steak, The Rachel, and two different orders of fries. The steak was perfectly cooked and I loved the thousand island dressing on the Rachel. I will definitely be back!

I was pleasantly surprised by the sandwiches. The flavor and craftsmanship are very similar to what you'd find at the legendary "JT’s Genuine Sandwich Shop", and that comparison alone speaks volumes about how good they are

08.23.2025 - picked up a to go order. Both the Crafted Smashburger and chimichurri steak sandwich were seriously lacking in the meat department — it felt like they forgot the main event! The steak was super tough, and the burger patties were paper-thin. If you're in the mood for a bread sandwich (yes, just bread), this might be your thing. But if you're a meat lover? Sadly, this one's a no-go! Also the broccoli salad is not a traditional broccoli salad that is chopped broccoli. It’s whole chunks of large broccoli with a ton of red onion. That’s all you taste. None of the taste of the raisins and sunflower seeds come thru in the salad. Not good.

Stopped in based on the recommendation of my brother and had the Italian. It was great! I'm excited to go back and try some of the other sandwiches. (I hung out and worked on my laptop after I was done eating, and I saw a bunch of people coming in from around the neighborhood, which was great to see.)

Best sandwich I've had in a long time. Turkey Etc - turkey, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and bacon on a soft sesame seed bun. I also ordered their homemade onion rings with chipotle mayo. Delicious doesn 't begin to describe it. There are a lot of items to choose from. It may take me a while, but I can see myself eating one of everything their menu has to offer.

Craft sandwhich shop located in Jefferson Park that I believe more recently opened up! I called ahead for pick up and it was just about ready when I got there. The girl who took my order on the phone and rang me up was really friendly. I ordered the Lomo Saltado sandwich was was EXCELLENT, but my only complaint is that I found it to be extremely expensive. It was roughly $20 just for the sandwich alone. With the tip I left there spending over $23. While I did love the taste and flavor and ingredients, I don't know if I'd come back often just for the price point. They do have some other sandwiches at lower price points, but still seem a bit high to me.

Stopped in today for the first time and loved our experience! I had the Turkey Etc which was delicious with really good bread. My girlfriend had the Italian which she also loved. Restaurant interior had some fun decorations and comfortable seats. All the employees were very friendly too. Can't wait to go back and dive into more of their offerings!

Wow! No matter what sandwich you choose they are all delicious! The salads are good too, my favorite is their broccoli salad. Will be back for more...

Checked them out on their opening weekend and everything was great. We tried the Muffuletta and Belly BLT. The descriptions were spot on. Between the two, I preferred the Muffuletta. (I would have liked thicker tomatoes on the Belly BLT, but that's a personal preference. The sandwich is fantastic.) Super excited to go back and try a some of the other interesting menu items.

Great new spot! I had a Clubby and husband had the Italian. Owner was so nice. If you are looking for a solid sandwich I highly recommend.

Excellent turkey sandwich- clearly fresh ingredients. We split "The Rachel" & "The Clubby" - both had great flavor. We also had the homemade onion rings and cole slaw- both fantastic. What a GREAT addition to the neighborhood.

Wow really great sandwich spot. A welcome addition to the neighborhood. Small but mighty menu, which means everything is fresh. French fries cooked in beef tallow are amazing. This is my go to spot. Check them out you won't be disappointed!!

Gladstone Park and North Chicago have been in dire need of a great sandwich shop for quite some time. There are many tried and true beef shops and of course... The awesomeness of SuperDawg is just down the road... But, when talking about sandwiches, Dese' Guys Have The Goods! My husband and I took a stab at C&C and it delivered! I got 'The Rachel' and he got the 'Turkey Etc.'. The sandwiches were downright sumptuous and all of the flavors 'Hit' just right! Of course... these were just the Turkey selections and have yet to try every darned one of their sandwiches! They have some attractive salad offerings and a menu just for the kiddos with everything they crave! Great menu, great service, easygoing, cool and cozy atmosphere. Look forward to visiting again, and again and again...

Visited for the first time on Saturday and loved everything I tried! The Cubano, Diavolo Italiano, and coleslaw were delicious. Definitely worth the drive from Palatine!

We had a delightful time there. The sandwiches were amazing and the vibe was super chill. The staff were great!! My wife and I will definitely be going there for lunch dates during the week! I can't wait to try all the sandwiches!! This neighborhood really needed a restaurant like this :)!!!
