They have the coolest drinks and seasonal drinks as well! I tried their famous banana pancake latte which I learned is now a permanent menu item and no longer limited edition which was great to hear. They usually make drinks with oat milk so I got it with that as normal. It was sweet and delicious. The oat milk adds a good creaminess to it as well. I will definitely be back to try other drinks soon!

This is my new favorite coffee spot in the city. There are so many places that go viral for their fun drinks online, but when it comes to actually trying them, you are often left with disappointment. This is NOT the case for this place. I had the banana pancake latte and I can assure you, this is the best flavored latte I have had in the city. They have so many fun other flavors for the holidays like a coco-mint and mint mocha latte. I will be back to try these out! + vegan friendly milk options available!

Hands down one of the best coffee experiences I’ve had in NYC. I ordered the Pistachio Date Cappuccino and it was absolutely unreal - rich, cardamom kicked, and perfectly balanced. You can tell they put real care into their flavor profiles and execution. The space is clean, cozy, and inviting, and Donovan was genuinely friendly and passionate about his craft. If you’re a coffee lover looking for something unique and memorable, Current Coffee should be at the top of your list.

The owners are so nice! I went one time and on my second visit he remembered me and my milk type, in a city like NYC I was shocked. First time I got their pistachio drink and the second time their maple latte. I love trying new or custom drinks but also hate over sugary drinks and he’s made it perfect both times.

Absolute neighborhood gem. The coffee here is great. I particularly love the lavender almond milk latte. Like I think about it a lot. The guys that run the place are really great as well. The decor reminds me of my brother’s teenage bedroom in the 2000s in the best way. It gives it a coziness factor. Unpretentious and damn good coffee.

One of the best coffee shops in Kips Bay! The owner is so kind and the drinks are always delicious- with no artificial/added sugar- and they use minor figures oat milk as the default

The drinks here are so good and creative. The service is always so friendly too. Will keep coming here. I also adore this sign that had a character from Animal Crossing. :’) It made my day when I saw it!

What a cute coffee shop in Kips Bay area of NYC! It is on a side street but you can't miss it. Inside the vibes are welcoming and bright colors. The way that the menu is presented is one way I never have seen before. It looks to be painted on cloth or something. And on a mini chalkboard seems to be written the specials drinks they have. The person working here was very nice and funny. Not only did he make a great coffee drink for me but he also was nice enough to tell me what kind of oat milk was used as I said it was very good. I tried the Banana pancake iced latte made with banana water, maple syrup, oar milk and espresso. Yum and out of this word this drink was! There are also some pastries here too. This place also has another location more downtown. I may need to try that location out next. Highly recommend stopping by here to get great coffee!

Came here to grab a quick coffee with my colleague and we were both impressed. She ordered a matcha latte (it was under $5!) and I got the banana pancake latte. She raved about her drink and mine was good too, but wasn't strong enough in terms of banana flavor for me, but still yummy. The barista was so friendly and so quick, so I do want to commend the service. The vibe of the place has a lot going on, but it's fun! Definitely with a visit and I'll be coming back for sure.

Stopped in on their first day open! Very fun spot. Friendly employees. My to-go cup had a silly sticker on the top which was a nice surprise. Can't wait to come back and try some pastries and other drinks!

Absolutely charming little coffee shop, so happy I discovered it by accident! My tea was wonderful, the owner warm & friendly...& it has a great hippie vibe with a lot of coziness & comfort. Eager to go back!
