Current Space

The space is the perfect melding of classic and gritty. I love the art and the garden and the stage setup.

Current Space has been exhibiting and supporting local and nationally recognized artists now for close to twenty years. It’s a cornerstone for the Baltimore art community. I can’t imagine this city without it 🤙🏼

I like the idea of the artists ownership of a space such as this one with a gallery and a garden with the bar in the back. I liked a lot some of the activities taking place in the garden such as the Minds on Fire last concert and the excerpts of short movies/ documentaries collected by a couple in Baltimore. The reason I only gave three stars is because the gallery looks deserted/ a poor management and overall concept of that space. Who ever is in charge of this part needs to spend much more time on the job.

This small gallery has great contemporary artist’s work! Cozy backyard shows and bar are very chill.

Way too loud music and drink prices are off the chart! Plus rats! Yeah, no.

Great events & wonderful space! Loved my first visit so much I became a member. Fun events almost every day in October - enjoy the beautiful outdoor space

A great gallery with an splendid outdoor bar full of plants that hosts events (film, music, etc.) Appreciate that they have many options for non-drinkers.

Great place to see a show. The staff wants nothing more than to share art and entertainment. It's nice to feel how that's above making a buck. However they do deserve some bucks.
