The Best Indian Restaurants in Nashville | Eater Nashville

"Curry and Tikka doles out a mean dahi puri, a scorching lamb vindaloo, and buttery naan from its sleek new digs on Thompson Lane. Locals have been flocking in and raving about its dishes, including some inventive twists on the standards like the naanza (a naan pizza) and tikka mac and cheese. The restaurant features live music on the weekends and has recently launched a lunch buffet. Curry and Tikka is open six days a week — it’s closed on Tuesdays — for lunch and dinner service." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

One of the best meals I had while in Nashville for work! I’m glad I found this place while searching online and it did not disappoint! The owner was very kind and you can tell he wants to give the best possible experience to his customers. Awesome place and highly recommended!

Google
Best Indian food in Nashville hands down! Quality ingredients, made to order, and great service. The restaurant is the owner’s dream and you can feel that in the food. 10/5 stars

Delicious, freshly cooked food in a lowkey atmosphere. My husband and I stopped in while our kids were at an activity in the area, and I just happened to see this restaurant on Google maps nearby. It was fabulous and we will definitely be back. We were the only ones at first, but it filled up by the time we were finishing. The owner was very friendly and patient, explaining the different dishes to me as I wasn’t familiar with all of them. We ordered chilli paneer as an appetizer; garlic and regular naan, Vegetable korma, Chana saag, and malai kofta. We had plenty to take home. Those main dishes are vegetarian curries and were spectacular. I like my food very salty so I added salt, but in general the spices were great. The food was clearly very fresh and came piping hot. We ordered it at spice level 3 of 10. Next time we would go to 4, and my husband could go up to 5. We love all the local Indian restaurants but are particularly impressed with Curry Corner. It’s a hole in the wall and well, well worth it.

Stopped in a bit close to closing time today. We were warmly welcomed by the owner who insisted it was not too late to order. He was the only one working and was incredibly friendly! He whipped up our food and we took it to go. This is some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Nashville. Do not sleep on this hidden gem. They are coming up on their 1 year anniversary and this is so very clearly a passion project for the owner. You can taste the love and care in every bite. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Google
Food is yummy . I got the house curry and asked for extra spicy. It was flavorful and spicy a winning combo. The curry and rice comes separate the picture is after I combined some of it.

We randomly found this spot and decided to give it a try. The butter chicken and vegetable korma were both amazing. We were going to come back based off the food alone, but the owner is also so kind and friendly! Definitely recommend supporting him and visiting Curry Corner!

Google
We found this little gem by happenstance, looking for an Indian lunch spot on our way home. We were blown away! Some of the most authentic Indian flavors I’ve had in a long time, as it was all super fresh and cooked from scratch in an open kitchen. I also love that there were vegan options galore including naan, which is so hard to find without butter etc. We were served and cooked for by the owner, who was incredibly kind. You can tell he puts his heart into everything he makes and truly wants his customers to enjoy their food. A must try in Nashville! You won’t be disappointed.

Google
A warm, welcoming Indian restaurant. The food was well prepared, nicely seasoned. We had the vegetable samosa as an appetizer, saag paneer, and chicken korma with both garlic and butter naan. We will return.

Yelp
Incredible food and so reasonably priced. The owner is the real deal and awesome to talk to. Some of the best saag I've ever had and you really get the sense of passion the owner bring to the food

Yelp
Fantastic northern style Indian cuisine for an affordable price. We ordered the palak paneer (comes with white rice), chicken tawa biryani (comes with yogurt sauce), and garlic naan. The food was delicious, homey, not too oily, and overall just perfect. The restaurant itself was very clean and tidy. The owner was very kind to us our entire visit and made conversation with us. He even gave me a complimentary gulab jamun dessert since I visited on my birthday! I am so happy to have a new Indian spot to support and will absolutely come back soon!

Yelp
My wife and I finally tried Curry Corner and were amazed at both the delicious food and service. We ordered the paneer makhani, chicken biryani and gobi manchurian. Each dish was unique and had a perfect, subtle blend of flavors. Thankfully this spot is right down the street so we can't wait to return.

Yelp
Curry corner is a very quaint, delicious restaurant. The colors on the walls being a liveliness to the space and the smells coming from the open kitchen make your mouth water! I cannot remember the name of the owner (he's super nice) but he brought us out some veggie samosas on the house and made sure our food was up to par. The food took about 15-20 minutes to come out, but it was worth the wait since it was literally being made on the spot. It came came out hot and fresh and we loved it. Go support your local curry corner!

Yelp
Food was so delicious and seasoned well. We ordered online but walked in to pick up, and the restaurant was clean and well decorated. I would recommend their paneer bhurjee.

Yelp
Service was outstanding. Very nice Host. I live close and have been meaning to stop by to try some samosa. I was told the Tandoor was the house special, so I left with chicken, also. Both were amazing, freshly prepared and delicious. Can't wait to try more.

Yelp
We had the butter chicken, chicken tandoori and garlic naan. All were delicious! Server was extremely polite and food was prepared as we ordered. Some of the best Indian cuisine my wife and I have ever had.

Yelp
I highly recommend this new hidden gem! Everything we have tried has been so flavorful and fresh. Everything is made to order and the flavor is so unique and special. So far we have had their samosas, Somosa chat, veg korma, malai kofta, garlic and chili naan, and the mango lasi. If you want a few quick bites, go with the samosa chat, naan and a mango lasi. The service and charm is unbeatable! Be patient as they are a small and newly up and running business and everything is made fresh, Enjoy!
