⭐️ Excellent Experience at Curry House! Had a fantastic meal at Curry House! I ordered the Tandoori Mixed Grill and the Chicken Reshami Kabab, and the food was absolutely delicious and high-quality. The service was also great—the staff was very nice and attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant for both the wonderful food and the friendly atmosphere!

There was a staple in my food. Thankfully I saw it before someone accidentally swallowed it, but this is unacceptable. I reached out to Curry House on their website, but it has been a few days with no response. Edit: the owner got in touch with us. They said they did not receive the submission through their website. They were very sorry about the situation and are reviewing their procedures to prevent it from happening again. Additionally, he professionally handled the situation by offering a refund. It was a very unfortunate accident, but I appreciated the way it was handled after the fact.

What can I say about one of my favorite restaurants this side of Asia? This place would get 6 stars if they'd let me. The flavors from here bring a tear to my eye every time I eat it (and not only because of the level 6 spice). The staff is super friendly and remember us by name. Most restaurants this good would put you to sleep afterwards, but this is one of the few restaurants that I feel great after eating (translation: wholesome ingredients). Ordering again tonight.

Google
Our favorite Indian so far in the area. Lots of spice options with 8 being my favorite out of 10. Typically always get the papadam and the onion chutney is amazing. Sometimes get the naan - however like the papadam more and the naan is just average - also naan prices are high everywhere. Usually get lamb korma which is my favorite then second is lamb vindaloo. Wife gets butter chicken and it’s delicious and not too sweet. Some butter chicken is too sweet for my liking but not here. They’re fast and really nice whenever I pickup. The dry chili chicken is also incredible as an app.

The food was delicious! The flavors were fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. I especially loved the texture and seasoning it really stood out. I would definitely come back again!

Hokulani R.

Google
One our most favorite restaurants in Wake Forest! The food is exquisite, authentic and deliciously spicy! Just the way we like it. The service is top tier and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. My husband and I try to come in at least once a week.

Google
I just want to say that I was super impressed with curry house tonight. We have loved the food for years, but tonight our grubhub driver picked up the wrong order and curry house called me and personally delivered our food and even arrived before grubhub! Super impressed. And always amazing food!

Google
I have been to Wake Forest a ton and had no idea that Curry House existed! This is a fantastic little Indian place! They have a sizable menu that has clearly listed gluten, dairy, and vegan distinctions. They also ask about spice tolerance on a scale of 1-10. Everything we tried was delicious! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I was finishing my pedicure at my favorite nail salon across the street and ordered pickup from Curry House. There are several establishments in the same shopping center as Curry House, so parking is really a tizzy. I went inside to pick it up. My food was ready for pickup just when they said it would be. It was spacious and nice inside, I plan to go and dine in soon. I ordered the Chicken Korma. I got home and made my plate and it was absolutely delicious. The smell hit me right away, all my senses were alert. Every bite was amazing. The flavor palate was incredible. Curry House is a must go to!

Yelp
So far, this is the best Indian food I have found in this corner of the three-sided shape. I had hopes. The tomato soup is the closest to puree I've found in my month and a half of living here. The cheesy spinach has a little too much cream in it, but it's in the right direction. Kadai lamb is tasty but they just barely overcook it. I'm not sure if they stew it then reheat it because that's pretty foolproof. Anything else and you're basically boiling the meat with the speed the kitchen needs to turn. Come in early on and the plastic bags are lined up and they assume you're a gig worker. I guess it's that gas station ambience. Hey, I'm eating here. Can you make an effort? After recently having very good tandoori chicken elsewhere and good salmon here, I ordered the pad thai of indian cooking (no, not butter chicken, please). Sadly, the nuclear accident red bird was chewtastic to the point of tolerating it but never giving them 17 dollars for it again. At least it came with sauce, though, because they know how dry it is and they've got 5 gallons of tikka masala on the back burner. The service is flawless, though, and in as little as 3 visits they recall my preferences which I consider quite welcoming. I have every intention to try the rest of the menu over the next few years. There's gotta be something coming out of that kitchen that pays the rent.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the serving size was nice and large. The minute you walk into the restaurant the smell will make you hungry

Yelp
Amazing taste and great variety of flavor!!!! Definitely plan to return again soon!! Excellent customer service!!

Yelp
Ambiance nothing too exciting. Very quiet no music nice aroma of curry. Comfortable booths Ordered Muligatwany soup, poori bread and cchicken Vindaloo 7 heat index. Brought out papadam!!! First time in many Indian Restaurants that I have seen this brought out. The onion chutney is really good and the mint sauce a bit has a bite to it (note: they just piped in a radio station). The tamarind was ok The food was excellent no complaints on any of it. The service was good and appropriate. She came by 1-3 times to make sure I had everything I needed and how the food was. I would get mild next time. Chicken was tender and spices spot on. The soup was HOT and spices were excellent. And a good size portion. Yes definite to come back and you should put it on your list to visit. Even thought the ambiance was ok , the food more than made up for that. Yea 5 stars and the food was the fifth star

Yelp
We ordered butter chicken and chicken tikka Marsala - 10/10! We have been here for over a year and have tried several Indian places with no success. I'm so happy to say we finally found our new go-to Indian place! The garlic naan was also flavorful and plentiful! We will definitely be returning!

Shaniqua T.

Yelp
Earlier this week was my first time at this restaurant and I've been planning my next return. It was excellent food, service, and ambiance.
google avatar

Yelp
This food is so good and authentic. I visit India several times a year for business and this food is the real deal. The korma is fantastic and the naan. The rasmalai isn't quite the same but very good if you like creamy desserts. Definitely worth a visit or takeout if you like Indian food!
google avatar

Jeff M.

Yelp
Whoa!! I absolutely love the two dishes from here. 1) the lamb Boti Kabob. It is giant chunks of lamb, well seasoned. I always cut it smaller pieces and eat it with some naan bread. 2) now if you like spicy!!!! The Lamb Vindaloo spice level 5. YUM!!! It has so much flavor in the sauce, I will take naan bread just sop of the vindaloo sauce. Love this place.

Givon H.

Yelp
My food was very good, the look inside was very nice, and the prices were fair. they got my food to me very fast, and they refill your rice for free!!! will defiantly go again.
google avatar

Dave C.

Yelp
Much improved, but still a little rough around the edges. The quality of the food has come a long way since my last review. That being said, it appears as though a lot of the veggies used in the dishes are very similar to the variety one would find in the frozen food section of a grocery store. The curries and sauces are good -- but the flavors aren't as layered as the better places I would rank higher. Overall, I haven't found a better South Asian food place east of Cary, NC, but I have found better South Asian food places in the area of Cary. Still, this place is a lot better than a lot of the other places I've tried in the Raleigh area and a great option if you don't want to drive across the county.

Yelp
Visiting from out of state and had a craving for Indian food. We ordered the garlic naan, samosas, butter chicken, chicken tandoori, navratan korma, and chicken tiki masala. Everything was delicious other, then some of the tandoori chicken pieces were a bit dry. We ordered the carry out order through Uber eats and picked it up inside the restaurant. When you walk in, they have a bar. My husband and I split a blue moon while we were waiting on our carry-out order. It had the juiciest orange slice ever. Restaurant was clean inside and all the staff was friendly and professional.

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Curry house never, ever disappoints! I've tried multiple dishes and each equally delicious making it hard to decide each time we go! Great vegetarian options. Palak paneer, paneer tikka masala, Gobi Manchurian and garlic naan are all to die for! The best Indian I've had by far.
google avatar

Amanda R.

Yelp
Still as great as ever!! Love this place! Food doesn't get any better than this. Great spot to meet friends.

Yelp
Great Indian cuisine. Another stop at this local spot. Friendly quick service. Patient in explaining the menu with attention paid to level of spice. It's a busy place with as many to go orders as those dining in. The tikki masala is my favorite. Beautiful creamy sauce with precisely the amount of spice I specified. Chicken chunks are a little chewy but still delicious. The sauce is perfect for dipping the excellent garlic-stuffed naan. Also had Boti kababs. Chucks of flavorfully spiced lamb grilled on a skewer with peppers and onions. The meat was a little over done so drier than I would prefer. Nevertheless, very very tasty. Also perfect for dipping in that masala sauce. Also tried chicken momo. These are steamed dumplings filled with spiced ground chicken. Along the lines of potstickers but with a unique curry-inspired taste. Recommend this spot. Delicious food in a low key atmosphere.

Yelp
Curry house was great. We ordered to go food through Yelp and it was made quickly. The only issue I had was that yelp's app never let me know that it was ready for pickup. I went inside to ask about the timeframe for completion and they had our bag ready. Inside isn't huge but it has a Bar if you want to grab a drink while you're there or if you are waiting. We were greeted by very nice people who work there and we had our food in no time. It was an easy experience to walk in and walk up to the bar that is directly across from the door. If you're eating inside it is clean and smells great. We will gladly be back.

Yelp
The service was great, food came out fast! And tasted amazing!! I enjoyed it so much for my birthday!

Yelp
The food was so amazing that we forgot to take pictures! This small hidden gem had our tastebuds exploding! Our first visit here, but definitely not our last!!! I had the tandoori mixed grill - and Oh my goodness!!! When they brought that smoking, piping hot skillet out my mouth immediately started watering!!! Every single thing was wonderful. My boyfriend had the lamb curry and he was extremely pleased!!! For the small amount of people working there, the service was great! They were very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

Yelp
This place is right up there with Bombay Curry. I love the tandoori chicken and also the chicken tikka. Comes with white meat, rice, and masala sauce. The Dahi Papri (spelling) appetizer is delicious. It's a mixture of chickpeas, potato, and crisp wonton type noodles. they have great naan and the crispy flatbread they give you before your meal with the three dipping sauces is awesome. I have ordered from here for takeout and my order was always right. I have also sat in the restaurant and the service is always friendly and prompt.

Wes K.

Yelp
I usually order take out, but decided to dine in. The Naan bread i had was the best I've had compared to so many indian restaurants. It was crispy on the bottom and big and pillowy and soft on top. 10/10 The remaining order was also great and the service was fast. The only extremely minor critique was the soft drink was served as a single can of soda with a glass of ice - so if you are used to chugging soda and getting refills be warned. haha
google avatar

Melissa H.

Yelp
We've been to Curry House 4 times now (2 dine-in, 2 take-out) and although the food takes a while, it's well worth the wait! The food is excellent - well-seasoned and generous portions. I love the butter chicken w/spice level 8/10, chicken mo-mos (dumplings) and garlic naan. If you're craving good Indian cuisine in Wake Forest, give this place a try!
google avatar

Katie S.

Yelp
We regularly get takeout from Curry House. The food is phenomenal! You can see tons of spices and herbs in the food. The palak paneer is so flavorful. The garlic naan is perfectly fluffy and melts in your mouth. Samosas are excellent: crispy on the outside, savory on the inside. You really can't go wrong. My one piece of advice is this: this place is bumping! They do a ton of takeout, especially on the weekends. I always call early and make sure I wait a little longer than they tell me before heading over because their kitchen can definitely get backed up.
google avatar

Yelp
Food- best Indian food I have had outside of London, Tokyo and NYC. I wish they would open up in Naples, FL. Food is outstanding taste & quality. Service is excellent. Restaurant is clean, there is a bar that sells beer and wine for sure. This restaurant is highly recommended for take out or eat in. Bravo to their chefs!!!!!!
google avatar

Abe F.

Yelp
curry house is my go-to restaurant. the food is always hot and ready, every dish I've tried (about 8) has been amazing, and they don't joke when it comes to spice. Can't go wrong with this place.

Yelp
Hidden gem in Wake Forest in a shopping center area on Main Street behind Korean Kitchen. I've been craving Indian food for a while and I found this place on Yelp while looking for restaurants in Wake Forest. I had my dog in the car with my husband so I had to get my food to go. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan to go. It took about 15 min to be ready. While I was waiting one of the workers gave me some ice water. The food was enough for my husband and I since we weren't really hungry and we just wanted to try it. We got enough rice and the naan was big but the curry itself was a pot with about 2 cups of curry and a few pieces of chicken in it. Everything was delicious though! I'll be coming back to dine in.

Matthew S.

Yelp
Superb restaurant absolutely love the tandoori shrimp! The staff is really friendly. The garlic naan is some of the best I've ever had. If you want it hot and spicy, they will make it hot and spicy. I never leave hungry always stuffed and satisfied.
google avatar

Eric L.

Yelp
It's wonderful to have such a great Indian restaurant right here in Wake Forest! So many tasty dishes. Our favorite appetizer is the Samosa. Both the vegetarian and with meat are very good. Main dishes, Butter Chicken, Vindaloo, curries, all very flavorful with heat to order. And be careful with the spiciness! We found 7 to cause instant sweating!! The restaurant is fairly large, so good for eat in and they also get the to-go orders ready quickly.

Nicole K.

Yelp
Best Indian restaurant in the triangle. Best food. Best service. Friendly staffs. Recommend 110%
google avatar

Logan M.

Yelp
I'm giving this location three stars. Not because of the food quality, because it was GREAT! Only because I was there solo and waited in line for a very long time before being acknowledged and taken to a seat. I believe their food delivery orders were taking over; however, in-person patrons should come first. Alright, whew. So, I ordered the tikka lamb masala and garlic naan. It was fantastic!! I ordered a spice level of 5 And it was just right, not too hot or mild. I actually think next time I will order a 6-7. The basmati rice was perfect and lamb cooked very well. The masala sauce was very well done and flavorful. I will definitely be returning, hoping the line will not be as crazy.
google avatar

Trevor H.

Yelp
My girlfriend took me here for my birthday and The Curry House didn't disappoint! This is only my second time having Indian Cuisine and it was so good! I got the Lamb Tikka Masala and Lamb Samosas! The meat was tender and well seasoned. The Lamb Tiki Marsala sauce was delicious! Best of all, the food came out with a quickness! This was a nonnegotiable because I was HUNGRY! Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a filling, delicious meal! P.S: The service was great and multiple employees asked me how I liked the food!
google avatar

Ayanna F.

Yelp
OMG Food was amazing!!! First time trying Indian cuisine & it did not disappoint AT ALL. Got the chicken tikka masala--that "tomato curry type sauce" over the basmati rice had my taste buds going insane. Paired it with the chicken biryani and oh *chefs kiss* . You can literally taste the spices in each dish. So flavorful. I got everything at 2. Also ordered the cauliflower and garlic naan. I will be back. I ordered ahead of time for pickup and food was ready less than 30 mins
google avatar

Tech H.

Yelp
Great food. Generous portions and packaged well enough to retain warmth when going for takeout. I traveled about 20 minutes to amd from - food was reasonably my warm once I made it to my destination and tasty. I also enjoy the fact that they provide you with the gambit of condiments even of you haven't requested; that's what I call caring for the customer while demonstrating how good the product is. First visit ever on 3/10. I'll be visiting again in the near future. Give 'em a try and thank yourself for doing so later!
google avatar

Garland A.

Yelp
The food was ok... We ordered food to go ahead of time, drove to the establishment (took us 30 minutes) and still waited an hour to receive our order. Yes, it was crowded and it didn't look like enough seating for us to sit and wait. On a grade scale, 4 out of 10.
google avatar

Lauren J.

Yelp
Love curry house! Our old Indian place was a 40 minute drive, so we gave this a try and we are so glad we did! Their maloi kofta is a craving I get often! The service is always quick, efficient and wonderful!
google avatar

Janet C.

Yelp
Fantastic food served at Curry House. We loved the butter chicken, chicken biryani, and vegetable samosas. The service is quick and water is filled throughout the meal. Casual ambiance provides a relaxed dining experience.
google avatar

Chennel M.

Yelp
The curry lamb was amazing. If you like spicy, this your place!! We went for lunch. The food came out hot and fresh and we didn't wait long. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The dining room was clean with lots of natural lighting.
google avatar

Phylis I.

Yelp
What a disappointing experience. My family always orders from Curry House because it's close to where they live when they don't feel like cooking. Unfortunately, during the most recent experience, we may have been turned off from here forever. The food was good, but the staff was not attentive. They had an attitude and acted like they were inconvenienced doing their jobs. Then they had an argument with my family saying we always cause problems there (which is 100% not true). The attitude came directly from the "manager" who didn't want to give them extra rice. I can't speak for anyone else, but the general feeling was that they felt they could treat people who looked like them badly because that's not how they behaved towards others. It was blatantly obvious this was an issue because my family is also Indian/Pakistani. Very sad that this type of behavior is occurring. We'll save them the trouble and never order there again. Seems like cooking at home is a better idea.

Audrey H.

Yelp
The food, the service, the ambiance is all amazing!!! Kushal is a top shelf host. The chef is awesome. You will not regret this restaurant. They are the slowest after 8pm and the food is made fresh to order.

Edythe G.

Yelp
I can't believe it's taken me this long to try this place! The food was delicious, the staff was running everywhere and attentive. They do a slamming takeout business and the dining room was busy as well. Tonight we had the vegetarian Samoas (fried dough filled with potatoes and peas) they were delicious and when you add the accompaniments they serve you at the start they were even better. My daughter had the chicken tikka and the sauce was delicious but the chicken was quite dry (took a star away for that), i ordered the lamb korma so tender and yummy! We added an order of naan also (i never understand why that isn't served at any Indian restaurant but always an add on - it's a necessary vessel for all that sauce!) My only issue was the food service was a bit "off" people ordered after us were getting food before our appetizer came out and then right after appetizer the food came out (we weren't even 1/2 done) and the naan came out a few minutes after the main meal (took a star off for food service) We did enjoy the meal and will be back!
google avatar

Stacy Y.

Yelp
We went here on a whim and was very impressed. My daughter who claimed she "didn't like" Indian food, managed to finish her entire dish and made sure I took home my leftovers. The service was great and the flavors were outstanding. The complimentary lentil crackers (papadum) and dipping sauces were an unexpected treat!

Lindsay B.

Yelp
This place is fantastic- we order the Saag and usually a Vindaloo and it never disappoints. Spicy!
google avatar

Kevin C.

Yelp
The Curry House, located in the former Rosati's location off South Main Street, is a hidden Wake Forest gem. Service is polite and attentive, prices reasonable, and the food is reliably excellent. We particularly recommend the Chicken Tikka, any of the tandoori dishes, the Vindaloo (Medium was moderately spicy, Hot was very!) and the Korma. The Naan was delicious. What the restaurant lacks in ambiance (it's somewhat spartan), it really makes up for in food and service. We had two entrees, two orders of Naan and a beer during our most recent visit; the bill was $47 before tip. Most entrees are in the $14.95 to $17.95 range. A solid five star food experience.

Yelp
My sister and I ordered delivery the other night, and she has ordered from here several times since they opened. Our food arrived within about 40 mins and the order process was super easy. I branched our from my usual and got the Biryani with shrimp. The most mild option offered (at least on the online app) was 'Medium' which was a little too spicy for me personally, but I still ate it because the rest of the flavors were so good and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. I tried my sister's chicken curry which was also medium but much more manageable and also really tasty. We also got an order of garlic naan - definitely do yourself a favor and get it with garlic - and the chicken momo...basically steamed dumplings with a yummy sauce on the side which we both loved. To make it even better, the portions were HUGE so we had plenty of leftovers, and everything kept in the fridge really well. Highly recommend for something a little different!
google avatar

Jim P.

Yelp
Great Indian food with generous amounts, everything I've had here was good. They do a huge take out business. You can always find a table to dine in. The garlic naan, the papadam, the pakora, the main dishes, all so good.
google avatar

Liz M.

Yelp
Wow, this place is incredible! Absolutely exceeded any expectations we had. It was easy to order over the phone, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the Aloo Palak with coconut milk, Chicken Tikka Masala, the garlic naan and the Gobi Manchurian. The Aloo Palak was bursting with flavor and had a little spice to it, which was perfect. The Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious, with huge chunks of tender chicken and the creamiest yummy sauce. MMM! The naan was great, but the shining star of everything we ordered was the Gobi Manchurian. From their menu, the Gobi Manchurian is "marinated and golden fried cauliflower florets, tossed with peppers, onions, chili and soy sauce" and it will absolutely blow your socks off. The sauce is ooey gooey and you'll want to lick whatever container it comes in. Whatever you order, be sure to order this with it! Everything came with a huge serving of basmati rice. The portion sizes are fantastic and so are the prices - about in line with what you'd expect from a LEGIT Indian restaurant. Can't wait to order from Curry House again!

Yelp
Happy to see new cuisine options opening up in Wake Forest. Was up in the area and opted to give this place a try as the reviews seemed really solid. To be honest, I thought it was good but not among the better of the restaurants around. The food was flavorful but didn't seem to have the same punch of spices I prefer. I ordered several things to try them out. The Gobi Manchurian was decent but got the price there are options that are much better. The Kachumber salad had giant pieces of carrots in it. It has good flavor but, again, not one of the better versions I've had. The Baingan Bharta I think might have been incorrectly filled with another menu item as this saucy and had garbanzos and green peas in it. Tasted nothing like either garlic or smoked eggplant. Chili chicken -this was the best item I tried. I ordered it "10" to try out their heat but it wasn't what I consider (and have seen described in Indian menus as) "India hot." Good flavors overall and the chicken was well cooked. Shrimp Balti the "jumbo shrimp" were regular sized and there weren't a lot of them. Again, the dish was just "ok". Overall, I think if I lived in Wake Forest I'd be happy and might have tasted them 4 stars but there are just better options in Raleigh and I suppose I'm spoiled by them.

Yelp
The Wake Forest area now offers Indian cuisine!!! Curry House is located in the shopping area off Main Street. They are currently offering take out or delivery. I opted for takeout and my order was ready at the designated time. The menu is large with many options including many vegetarian dishes. It was difficult to decide what to order but we opted for the chicken tikka masala and shrimp mango jalferize. We also ordered original naan and garlic naan. Basmati rice also comes with the entrees. The entrees can be ordered at your spice preference from mild to a 10 hot. We enjoyed both dishes and are looking forward to returning to try more menu items.

Yelp
Visiting from CO, craving Indian, made an online order.... it was AMAZING!! Had Veggie Samosa, Chicken Korma and Baingan Bharta, as well as their basmati rice, all were fantastic. My sister and my niece who live here are now true fans!!!

Yelp
Outstanding!!! I love this restaurant. We had veggie Samosas, lamb Vindaloo, Butter chicken, chicken Momas and garlic naan. This is the best place ever!!!Lamb Vindaloo
