Customize meals at the Cups & Bowls in the Northwest | Eater Vegas

"Closed over the summer for equipment issues, Curry Hut is not returning to the northwest and will be replaced by the new build-your-own bowl concept; it launched in February of last year as a sibling to Spring Valley’s Boba Hut and the southwest’s Sizzle Hut and originally offered a Japanese-Thai fusion menu." - Bradley Martin

Google
Sooooo good!!! I ordered the chicken tikka masala & curry chicken! My husband got the goat curry. Everything was amazing!!! Wow I’m so impressed! I can’t wait to come back 😍

Google
Service is good. Restaurant looks hygienic. Ordered chicken biryani- it’s quite good. Not like a dum biryani. It’s like fried one. Good though. Like to try different items from the menu next time. Lot of to go orders. Seating arrangements are fine too. Not too Crowd. Tried even veggie biryani- taste good. Not a dum biryani but like a fried one but it’s good.

Google
Amazing spot for convenient Indian food - the portions are huge, with lots of rice and curry. Garlic naan is my favorite - made warm and fluffy, we love pairing it with the curry. The samosas are delicious as sides - flaky, crispy and spicy (stuffed with potato and veggies). Curry Hut is my number one pick for Indian food in OC, and it's super convenient to order to-go!

Google
I've been going to this place for my curry fix for the past 7 years. I remember it open during my college years. It's nice to see the business is doing well. I'm amazed to see what it looks like today as they have renovated and expanded. Don't knock this place til you try it. It has good food. The prices has always been cheap or low cost. I like the goat curry and spinach & cheese. Parking Can get full during rush hour, but most of the time there's plenty of parking.

Google
I like ordering from this restaurant, chicken masala is so good I can eat it everyday! And its not spicy yet the rest of food is spicy, The eggplant dish is yummy. Clean place with small tables to dine in. I just love this place!

Google
Came across this place by accident. The cuisine is quite authentic. The curry is flavorful and not mouth numbing spicy. The two item lunch combo comes with Naan .

5-12-24. My first time here. Friendly staff. Good food. Garlic naan good. Chicken Tikka masala and cauliflower potato dishes were very tasty. Lots of customers today. Popular place. Good for them. Support small businesses because they support the community. Thanks.

Yelp
FOOD Chicken Tikka Masala - A classic for a reason. This dish was my introduction to Indian food, and I immediately had to try more of their dishes. Juicy chicken in a well seasoned tomato cream curry sauce. Veggie Korma - A delicious vegetarian option. This dish is one of my favorites. I've now tried it from various Indian restaurants, but Curry Hut makes my favorite variation. I consider this one of the milder dishes, but by no means is it less flavorful. The addition of cubed paneer cheese sets them apart from other restaurants. Goat Curry - I'd only ever had goat in Mexican dishes, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavors in this dish. It reminded me a bit of Mexican mole. I love spicy food, so this was right up my alley. The goat was so succulent that it fell off the bone. Easily another favorite. Garlic Naan - I'm a garlic girl. What else is there to say? They have a variety of naan to choose from, but this is my go to for mopping up any leftover curry. Mango Lassi - Sweet, creamy, and refreshing. I often stop by to pick some up as a treat. CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AMBIANCE I usually only get takeout, but from what I've seen, there's a few tables, and it's pretty clean inside the restaurant. The employees give great recommendations, and I have received all of my orders to perfection.

Yelp
I had been craving Indian food after a recent catered event so I found this place on Yelp. Reviews seemed promising, so I stopped by to order the 2 item combo with Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag Paneer (spinach and cheese), with the $1 upgrade for garlic naan. Total came out to $18+. Portions were okay, not generous as other reviews mentioned. Taste was good enough but let's just say I won't be craving Indian food again for awhile. Service was straightforward. Not warm or cold, but what do you want? A lady makes your plate, you pay, wait for the naan, then go on with your day.

Yelp
Been meaning to have Indian food for a while and finally gave Curry Hut a try!! It's a pretty big menu but it's super simple to order. I got the chicken tikka masala (absolutely favorite!) and lamb curry with garlic naan and mango lassi. Absolutely DELICIOUS Especially the Chicken Tikka! If I'm ever craving Indian food again this is a really quick and convenient stop in the area.

Yelp
Curry Hut Indian Fast Food restaurant that has established and around for a while in an older plaza next to 7-11. This restaurant offers catering as I do see their van parked in the lot. It's a is family-run takeout (fast food) restaurant offering a good variety of 10+ different Indian entrees to choose from, making it perfect for any taste. I think I saw a good amount of vegetarian and non-vegetarians flavors, from classic butter chicken to chicken vindaloo to cauliflower aloo to choose at the hot bar. You have a choice to a combo plate or al la carte. I got the channa masala and aloo gobi entrees to go. Portions are generous and perfect for sharing, which makes it ideal for families. The channa masala seems to be less flavorful than the cauliflower dish. But overall, I feel it's worth trying. The atmosphere is very low key with a handful of tables to sit and eat (indoor and outdoor). I like the wall art that was painted by an artist. Overall, Curry Hut offers decent fast food.

Yelp
Not going to lie I do not have much experience with Indian food but my taste buds enjoyed the food very much as well as my wallet so this is a good review from me As I start to try more and more Indian food spots (mostly chicken tikka masala) I will come back and either give it a better rating or a lower rating based on the rankings. I ordered a two dish combo and upgraded to garlic naan. The woman that served the plate was very nice as well, making recommendations and making me aware of the spice levels with each dish. She actually recommended the goat curry which I ordered. The chicken tikka masala was great, could be spicier though. Very good flavor and good consistency, would recommend ordering. 4/5 The goal curry was tasty as well, had a nice spice level to it, could be a little spicier though. Honestly I would compare it to birria... definitely recommend ordering! 4/5

Yelp
Excellent lunch food. I had lunch special with 2 sides. Cauliflower reminded me of home and goat curry was very good.

Yelp
I like the food taste here, very pocket friendly and have good options to choose from including 3 to 4 vegetarian options. Service is very quick, you go pick your plate type and in 30 secs you are done. Similar to panda express. I like to buy 3 item combo here and one person can easily use it for 2 meals or share with someone !! I will rate them 10/10 on my DVFM* score *Dees value for money score

Yelp
The Curry Hut is set up like a Chinese take out place but with amazing Indian inspired food. Try the Garlic naan bread. I got a 2 Item plate with pepper chicken and Tikka Masala chicken. Wow! Wow! Wow! So delicious! This restaurant gets one of my few 5 Star rating! Good customer service, super clean inside, and delicious!

Yelp
Food was good. Nan bread was good and soft, When i walked in i wasn't greeted at the door nor a simple smile. atmosphere seems comfortable if your going to sit down and eat your food but i definitely recommend checking your food if you have a pick up or delivery. Taste and flavor is there but no too sure about the customer service. Would come again

Yelp
Curry Hut Indian Food is located on Chapman near Raymond. It is easy to access and locate (just look for the striped, lime green and orange roof). Parking is plentiful. There is limited seating both inside and outside. Tables and chairs are ultra casual. Although the combo plate choices are limited, the variety is nice and range from vegetarian to goat to chicken. Their rice is a little different from other Indian places I've been to in that it has peas and carrots mixed in. It's still good! They also have a la cart options for entrees, breads, rice dishes, and desserts. While the combo plates were ready to go as soon as they were dishes up, there is still a short wait for the naan to be prepared. Even so, it came out pretty quickly. Today I ordered the 2 item combo with chicken tikka masala and black pepper chicken. I'd never noticed black pepper chicken at any other Indian places, so I asked for a sample and the lady working the front was happy to let me try it. SO good! Definitely on the spicy side! Both chicken dishes were seasoned beautifully, had super tender meat, and had a very good ratio of chicken to sauce. I also wanted to try their chili garlic naan and their cheese naan. The chili garlic naan had a nice kick. The cheese naan looked great and pretty innocent ~ until you take that first big bite. I think there's some kind of chili stuffed in it because it instantly cleared up my sinuses. Food was great (especially the black pepper chicken) and service was prompt. Food selection is great and prices are reasonable. I'd definitely come back.

Yelp
Always such good food and the service is always so nice. They give you very big portions so I always have left overs, one of my top recommendations for places to eat, the garlic naan is especially good! I'll keep coming back!

Yelp
Love this place! My go-to when I want some Indian food. I've tried most of their curries - dal, palak paneer & CTM are my fave! Love their samosas! They are quick and very sweet with handling any requests or large orders!
google avatar

Aaron C.

Yelp
I work in the area, and I gave Curry Hut a chance and my expectations are met! I usually come for lunch and I get the 2-item combo. So far, I've tried the chicken tikka masala, palak paneer (basically Indian creamed spinach), and the black pepper chicken curry. All of them have been delicious! Can't wait to try more options. Service is super quick for the combo plate lunches, and even if you get the garlic naan, it's made to order very quickly. There's enough tables if you decide to eat at the restaurant as well!
google avatar

Yelp
Food was very tasty. The chicken was fresh and tender. Naan was on point. Very affordable. Great take out place. Not a place that you would want to dine in.

Yelp
Thursday October 16th around 5:30 First and last time going to this place thanks to your cashier, I felt so discriminated because after we order food to go the next customer was a white guy and she served a good portion of meat but for us whatever was left over, she couldn't even offer us a to go bag after we order food "to go", I even tip her
google avatar

Nhi R.

Yelp
My go to place for Indian food. There are one item, two item and three item combos that come with rice and naan. Garlic naan is extra but so worth it. Quick, affordable, and delicious.

Rachel Marie S.

Yelp
Sooooo good!!! I ordered the chicken tikka masala & curry chicken! My husband got the goat curry. Everything was amazing!!! Wow I'm so impressed! I can't wait to come back

Yelp
TLDR: Solid Indian food for a solid price. They're very lunch friendly, but they also make it very easy to bring food home that can be taken in many sittings. Chicken Biryani: A dish prepared when ordered with a slice level that you can request. The rice was fluffy and the chicken was tender. I asked for a mild and they did very well keeping the heat in while not burning my mouth. Chicken tikka masala: It's really good. This place's chicken is always one of the softest around the area for this dish. It s is a staple for me every time I visit. Palak Paneer (not pictured): They don't have much of a differentiator for this one. There is a hint of heat here but nothing I can't handle. Cottage cheese cubes weren't too big or too small. A good way to eat greens while eating curry. Garlic naan: It's solid. No other notes apart from it doing it's job in delivering the curry to my mouth. Service: Imagine a cafeteria style level of service. It's not amazing, but you won't come here to be treated like a king. You're here because you want their good food. Ambiance: It's a small store that seats 8. Cleanliness is not an issue, but space is a bit of an issue. Just order it to go and eat it at home.

Yelp
Was told the chicken tikka masala was chicken breast. Definitely was not. Taste was fairly bland. Naan was good.

Yelp
When the curry cravings hit, this is the spot! We keep coming back because, let's be real-it's that addictive and so damn good. My must-haves? Gotta go with the double order combo Goat curry (flavor explosion!), black pepper chicken, and you can't denied that garlic naan. The crew is always friendly, the place is clean, and every bite makes me question why I don't eat here daily. 10/10 would curry again.
google avatar

Heidi I.

Yelp
The chicken tiki masala is SOOOO GOOOD! The girls are always so friendly and attentive. The vibe is always welcoming and it's always clean too. Get the garlic naan, you won't be disappointed. I go here at least once a week.
google avatar

Jinyoung J.

Yelp
The food was all right--it's definitely more affordable than ordering a la carte. My boyfriend and I shared a 2-item plate, and the only thing I didn't like so much was the veggie side he chose. It tasted like they shoved every veggie known to mankind in there, and the sauce couldn't mask the blandness. The tofu also wasn't the most appetizing, and I absolutely love tofu. I would much rather eat at an actual Indian restaurant, but Curry Hut is still a decent eatery that I wish had more locations.

Cici B.

Yelp
I got the two item combo 10/31/25 and both were quite creamy and delicious. The workers were very friendly. Should I ever be in Fullerton again then our family will stop by. My wife ate all my leftovers the next day and found them tasty and filling.
google avatar

Cho C.

Yelp
If you love Indian food, and want convenience, this is the place. Priced reasonably, and portions are generous for the combos. The ladies that are at the counter are friendly, and answers any questions you may have. I've tried all the items in the front counter, and it's pretty good all around. If you get 2 item combo, that's a perfect portion for one adult. If you want to try one more item, just know that they put the third item in a tiny box separate. The combo comes with a serving of naan bread, and can be upgraded to garlic. Both is fine, I tend to stick to the traditional, as the food itself is very complex as it is. Just to clarify, complex as in, it's not the standard salt and pepper type of dish. Indian food is like a multi layered, warm, hearty dish of happiness. I sometimes order ala cart, 32 oz of Chicken Tikka Masala, just note the rice portion is tiny for the amount of Chicken dish you get. As others mention, if you don't specify extra rice, it's going to look odd. Yes, you will have to pay about $5 for extra rice portion. This place is good for anyone craving something different, something quick, and price reasonably. This is fast, authentic Indian food.
google avatar

Sophia S.

Yelp
Our first time visiting this establishment today & found that they service decent Indian cuisines. They had a good variety of items to choose from at a very affordable price point. Ambience is more of a fast food to go kind of place. Service was doable, you definitely won't get a happy welcome from the 2 ladies out front serving the food for sure. All in all we will definitely give this place another try the next time we are in the area!
google avatar

Stefani S.

Yelp
My to go place for Indian food cravings. It's an authentic Indian food at fair price. They have a great deal for 2 or 3 combinations. I always get the chicken curry, chicken tikka masala, and chicken tandoori. the combination comes with naan and you can upgrade to garlic naan which is so fresh and warm. The service is ok and the dining area is small. Really recommend this place for Indian food lovers!!
google avatar

Margely V.

Yelp
I've been here quite a few times but most recently I have felt inclined to leave a review because it's just THAT good. My go-to items are the goat curry, black pepper chicken, chicken curry and of course the upgraded garlic naan. The cooks and cashiers are always kind and the place is spotless which makes for a delightful experience.

Chris W.

Yelp
This place is great. I never really tires Indian food before until my friend showed me this place. I really like the black pepper chicken and the garlic bread. I also tired the ice cream that's on the side. You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
I ate here on my way home. The service was fast . Im a vegetarian, so it's always great to find a place that fits into my life style. This place checks that box. It was very tasty. I would eat here again.

Yelp
Curry hut is a great place to get your Indian curry cravings! They have many curry options to choose from, i usually get the two item combo which is around $12 and comes with basmati rice, two curry of your choice, 2 naan (I always choose the garlic naan which is extra) and a fountain drink. my all time favorite is the chicken tikka masal and the vegetable curry. Sometimes you would get naan that isnt the freshest, because it's just a tad dry and the texture isn't as pillowy. If you have difficulty in deciding which curry to get, just ask if you can sample them they are more than happy to give you samples! The lady who helped me was friendly. Inside they have Indian music playing, AC, some snacks you can purchase, and some seating. Great vibes for sure.

Emilee T.

Yelp
I've never had any indian food before as, where i'm from, we don't have much indian restaurants. The service is quick and fast. The food is amazing. If you get 2 items or more, you get a free naan bread. Def would recommend!
google avatar

Vincent T.

Yelp
For a Panda Express/Chipotle style of fast food, this place is extremely affordable, filling, and tasty for what it is. I would not say this is authentic Indian food, but for the convenience I would say this is quite a place I would come often. I usually get the goat curry and chicken tikka masala.
google avatar

Anna T.

Yelp
I love their 1-3 item combos such a good price! The combo for 2-3 items come with naan and 0.75cents up charge for garlic naan. I was always confused with the difference of chicken curry vs the chicken tikka. The chicken tikka is definitely more creamy vs the curry which is a bit heavier on the spices and oil. Both still VERY good. The eggplant was really good also. I enjoyed the spinach chicken a lot. The lamb was lacking on how much meat we were actually getting. More bone than lamb.. Garlic naan huge! They give 2 pieces per combo! Love love naan Huge portions. Great prices. Great taste.
google avatar

A U.

Yelp
This is a fantastic spot for some authentic Indian food. I recently ordered the chicken tikka masala and palak paneer, very creamy and savory. The samosas are perfectly crispy as well, with just the right amount of spice. The prices are a little high, but at least you get a hearty meal. Quality food, great service, awesome place.
google avatar

Yuma K.

Yelp
In a nutshell: If you're hungry, broke and in a hurry, this place is for you. Large portions for a decent price. Curry Chicken (7/10): Flavorful with lots of chicken, but too watery for my taste. Chicken Tikka Masala (9/10): I always get this whenever I get indian food. It was pretty good - lots of chicken, buttery, smooth - no complaints here. Garlic Naan (9/10): It's pretty good - garlicky and soft. It's exactly what I would expect from a garlic naan. The combo does come with a naan but $0.75 extra for it to be garlic - worth it in my opinion! Service: It's quick, cafeteria-style. LOL lil awkward when I asked her how big the plate was and she started scooping rice into the plate - but I assume she misheard me. Ambiance: It's a small store that probably seats like 12 in total. I like how the tables are clean and new despite how old the store looks. I'd say it's a place where people just come for a quick to-go.
google avatar

Diana L.

Yelp
Got the 3 item combo (chicken tikki masala, curry chicken, and eggplant) and added the garlic naan for $1 extra which is such a good deal. It was so much food for under $20 and lasted me 2 meals. The chicken tikki masala was the best thing - so good! The eggplant (pretty spicy and a mushy texture) and curry chicken (not as impressive compared to the tikki masala) were both good but I probably wouldn't order it again. Next time I'd get the chicken tikki masala again and try 2 other items - chicken spinach, lentils, goat curry, cauliflower potatoes, etc - they all looked really good!
google avatar

Anthony N.

Yelp
Very good chicken tikka masala. The sauce was creamy, chicken was tender. I really enjoyed the flavor and combo with the garlic naan. The eggplant dish wasn't my favorite, it was soft and creamy but a bit too spicy for me and maybe a touch greasy. I'll be back to check out the rest of the dishes. I liked the quick format and ease of service. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Good stuff.
google avatar

Kyle C.

Yelp
Very fast and quick service. Kind of like an Indian Panda Express. Cheap for the amount of food you get. Black pepper chicken and the chicken tikka masala are what I recommend but the goat curry is delicious too. Would definitely come back for a quick bite if I'm in the area. The naan bread is fresh baked and buttery soft I love to just dip it in the black pepper chicken sauce. Only a 50 cent up charge for the garlic naan which I would always get opposed to the regular naan. Choices for dishes are a bit limited but for what they have it's all delicious.

Tony A.

Yelp
shared a combo with some friends! we got chicken tikka masala and pepper chicken. super worth and delicious. great takeout food.

Deepshikha C.

Yelp
Took a vegetarian lunch combo today and was very disappointed as the food was stale. I chose one entree as Aloo Gobhi which was smelling bad and the other was chole which seemed to be frozen one just heated up a little, no taste. I previously had a non veg combo too which was okay but today it was just too bad, caused me stomach issues. I would probably not opt for this food again.
google avatar

Lexie. L.

Yelp
I've never experienced Indian flavors before. My really good friend suggested this place and recommended some options. Those options being, Chicken Tika Masala, Lentils, Chicken Curry & veggie Samosas. They are VERY generous with the servings and everything is fresh. The samosas are made fresh to order. While everything is "buffet style" served by worker. It is also very clean, there's seating inside and a couple tables outside. They also sell frozen goods. I highly recommend trying it at least once.

Yelp
This is a wonderful little spot in Fullerton with delicious Indian food that doesn't disappoint and honestly for the taste and quality the prices can't be beat! Try the garlic naan!!
google avatar

Yelp
The food is delicious!!!! I was extremely impressed with the service and caring staff. CURRY HUT feels like home!

Yelp
Masada had no flavor very bland. The first time we ever ate Indian food at restaurant and it needed salt. We eould have given it one star but at least the food was edible. Do NOT recommend.

Anita J.

Yelp
I showed up at 9:25 and they were closed please change your business hours. It was a waste of a drive I also tried calling before I went but no answer I thought maybe they were busy
google avatar

Dailyn N.

Yelp
A vibe, the chicken tikka masala is a fav with garlic naan. So far I've also tried the veggie korma and chicken spinach and I'd say they are a medium spice, carrying some heat. Very nice vibes and service is nice. The locals def kept this place as a hidden gem! I can see why everyone likes it so much.
google avatar

Natasha H.

Yelp
If you're craving fast, casual, practically authentic, Indian food, go here. It's the best "Chipotle"-esque Indian chain. They have everything, a plethora of vegetarian options, and they're pretty great about providing bigger portions. The naan, pakoras, chutneys, are all excellent. I love this spot for a lunch combo and am thrilled when I see it available on DoorDash because I live so far from them now! It's family owned, everyone's friendly, and the decor isn't the best but don't let the exterior or interior stop you from enjoying an amazing, filling, cheap meal! Enjoy!!

Blake R.

Yelp
It pains me to write this review, because I have been eating at Curry Hut for a while now. The food is legitimely the best Indian food I have ever had. I cannot rate it highly enough. Unfortunately today, I picked up lunch for myself and a co worker. Two item plate, chicken tikamasala and the pepper chicken. About half way through enjoying my food, I spot a long black hair in my pepper chicken. Yep, gross. Thats the end of me eating at Curry Hut in Fullerton, for a while at least. I threw the food out right away. Thinking back to when I picked up the food, the two women that were serving customers were both not wearing any sort of hair net or hat, and both had long dark hair. To be fair, they had their hair in ponytails, so that is something at least, but It could have come off of someone in the back of house. I didn't take a photo, there is no point. Anyone could put hair on food and take a photo. And I don't want them to loose business, I am writing this review because maybe reading this will cause them to take measures to prevent this from happening in the future. Like I mentioned I loved this place. I hope to come back to it again in the future.

Yelp
Delicious! I have only been twice so far for takeout but the food has been fab both times. Ordered the 2item combo with eggplant and cauliflower potato (I think it's the aloo gobhi) with roti and an order of veggie samosas the first time. Everything was excellent. Second trip I got the 3item combo with eggplant, aloo gobhi, and veggie korma with garlic naan. Again excellent. There is a short wait for the roti, naan, and samosas if you don't order ahead. Definitely recommend for fast food takeout. Will satisfy your Indian cuisine craving.
