"Don’t worry about missing this tucked away storefront on Fulton- your nose will let you know you’re in the right place. Curry Kitchen is a small but mighty Indian restaurant in town. Service is warm, friendly and helpful, and every dish is customized to your preferred spice level. This isn't an Indian restaurant where they'll hold back. Order it spicy, and you'll be sweating at the table into your bottle of Kingfisher. Try all of the things at the daily lunch buffet, and soak it all up with the fresh-baked naan or roti- some of the best in the city." - CreativeMornings Grand Rapids
Curry Kitchen - Review - Chicago - The Infatuation
"Curry Kitchen is a South Asian spot in Forest Glen. Expect goat momos in chili sauce, tandoori dishes with chicken, shrimp, or lamb, plus curry combo platters for two.
We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation
Delicious food at very reasonable prices. If you dont want too many leftovers try the lunch special, its a great spread! But the larger portion dishes have lots of variety and are delicious as well. Friendly staff and the restaurant has a nice view of downtown Edgebrook through the front windows.

The second time coming to eat here and I am have not been disappointed. The flavors and the amount of food is worth it. I ordered the lunch special undet 20 dollars. I had butter chicken, lentils, rice, salad, tea, and tandoori chicken. It was a lot but the flavors is 1000% savory. It does come with naan. I recommend to order extra naan but the garlic flavor. I love to take it home with me and warm up with my chai tea. Bring the family or bring some friends.

This restaurant was recommended by my friend and came here to try and when I first entered the atmosphere was very pleasing and nostalgic. I firstly tried Mo:Mo it was super delicious and had to try more food and as expected it was amazing. It reminded me alot when i was back in my country and used to visit restaurants to hangout. the service was amazing. loved it!! Will visit again!!

We did the pick two combo. Out of those world. The Dal Makaani is incredible.
Everything there is clearly home made fresh.
Awesome service
Beautiful restaurant.
I could go on forever about how good it is.
If I could give 6 stars I would!

The food was incredibly delicious, with a wide selection of both Nepali and Indian dishes. Each bite was authentic and deeply satisfying.
If you're craving traditional Nepali or Indian cuisine, I highly recommend this spot. The friendly service added to the experience, making it even more enjoyable. Definitely a must-visit!

Great find! One person in our group is notoriously picky and really enjoyed all dishes, he said after many years :). Our group shared vegetable pakora, 1 veg lunch special, 1 non-veg lunch special, 1 lamb rogan josh, paratha, and gajjar halwa. Portions are plenty. Everything was fresh, delicious, and well-presented. Service was wonderful. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful dinner at Curry Kitchen! From the moment we walked in, Bir and Amrita made us feel like welcome guests—friendly, attentive, and genuine hosts. The restaurant itself is spotless with inviting décor, which adds to the warm and comfortable atmosphere.
Our dishes were flavorful and perfectly spiced—most at medium heat, which was just right for our group. We ordered the vindaloo mild, but next time we’ll definitely go medium to match the others. Everything was delicious, and the balance of flavors was spot-on.
This is a lovely local gem we’re excited to come back to. Can’t wait to try the lunch specials and more from the menu. Highly recommend!

The food is insanely flavorful and delicious. The main reason I'm giving the review 4/5 is the portion to cost ratio. If you're paying $20 for a small container of whichever dish you order, rice or bread should be included.
Also even though we asked for utensils and napkins through the door dash, the restaurant did not include them.
I would go back only if I knew the $20 dish included rice or naan.

Yelp
So delicious! I'm glad to have this addition to the neighborhood.
Our kids loved the mild dishes, without a 'too spicy' complaint.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times and the food is excellent. Hearty flavors, lovely big portions, great service, cute decor, reasonable prices, what's not to love? This is the best food I've had in Chicago so far, and it's going to become one of my regular stops.

Yelp
I love love the food from this place. I've eaten here three times now, twice I picked up and once in the restaurant. Everything seems cooked on the spot, not reheated. The veggies are super fresh and the food comes out piping hot. The staff is extremely friendly. I have been to several Indian places on Devon and this rivals the best. I love having this in Edgebrook and hope people in the neighborhood support!

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time for lunch.
The server welcome me with a nice smile. The restaurant was clean and the table was set very nicely with folded napkins.
I ordered this lunch special with butter chicken. The lunch special comes with a curry dish of your choice rice naan, fresh salad in a drink. You can choose the spice level from mild to medium too hot. The food was just excellent and tasted authentic and fresh. The food was presented on a copper plate with copper small dishes and the color looked lovely. Defiantly try again.

Yelp
We ordered delivery, and everything was excellent! I'm excited to have this in the neighborhood. Samosas among the best I've ever had, and all 3 of our entrees were very good. Lamb Vindaloo was not as spicy as some places, which is actually a good thing in my opinion... I'm sure they'd make it spicier if you ask.
One tip: entrees don't come with rice, order some separately.

Yelp
We loved the food. They offer three levels of spice - we had medium, and it was spicy, which we love. Easy parking in front or at the church parking lot. They could use someone to bus the tables. No dishes were removed during our whole meal - our table was overflowing with dishes. There is a draft from the front door, but I did hear someone say that they are adding a temporary vestibule entrance like City's Edge and Elephant Thai. We are thrilled to have this great addition to Edgebrook.

Yelp
Let's start with easy to find, convenient to get to, and free street parking available. Super clean interior and very nice staff. It was clearly freshly prepared and not oil laden like some Indian restaurants. The naan was both a little crispy and soft, fresh, and tasty. I can't wait to try a couple of the other varieties. Chicken Tikka Masala had tender chicken and just the right amount of spicing for me. The Navratan Korma was also delicious for your vegetarian friends. Very reasonably priced. Good for groups and families too. Support small businesses and give it a try.

Yelp
We have been eating Indian food for decades and this is some of the best we've had. The standard menu items are unusually good and there are other things that we haven't seen elsewhere. The flavors and spices are wonderful. The place is very pleasant and comfortable, and the service is excellent. We have been there several times already and it is consistently excellent.
