"Curry Kitchen is a South Asian spot in Forest Glen. Expect goat momos in chili sauce, tandoori dishes with chicken, shrimp, or lamb, plus curry combo platters for two. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

The food was incredibly delicious, with a wide selection of both Nepali and Indian dishes. Each bite was authentic and deeply satisfying. If you're craving traditional Nepali or Indian cuisine, I highly recommend this spot. The friendly service added to the experience, making it even more enjoyable. Definitely a must-visit!

The experience could definitely be improved with a few adjustments. The portion sizes felt quite small for the price, and adding some sides to the main dishes will make them feel more complete. I had the samosa and felt it was a bit dry and overcooked. The chicken makhani was great. The vegetable momo would be much better with perhaps a bit more filling. The jeera rice felt it was missing flavor. The garlic naan was great, and the service was excellent, the place is spotless clean. The main issue for me remains the portion size and price. Best of luck for you guys 🙏

A relatively new Nepali restaurant (started in mid 2024). We tried their khaja set which includes puffed rice, soybean side, vegetable curry, and goat meat. The goat meat was nicely cooked and flavorful. We also tried their non veg thali. This cane with rice, naan, chicken curry, veg curry, tandoori, and mango lassi. They also served papad in the beginning. This restaurant falls in the city of Chicago so parking is not free. Great value for the price. Highly recommended

Great Indian/Nepalese restaurant that opened in Edgebrook area. The lunch special thali is a steal, I ordered the vegetarian thali which came with naan, dal makhni, salad, rice pudding, mango juice, and an option between palak paneer or aloo gobi. The food was tasty and the ambiance was cozy.

I was in the mood for Indian food and this spot popped up on the search result. Glad it did because, wow, was the food fantastic. Each dish was very flavorful and had a good spice to it. The Naan was made well and paired nicely with the chicken Tikka masala. The fired paneer was also super tasty. The mango Lassi was really tasty and smooth. Left very satisfied with my meal. The only thing that is a small complaint was the service was a tad slow, but it didn't hinder the experience of dining here.

I'm not sure which is more beautiful; the food or the restaurant! Highly recommended. Food was so GOOD; fresh, elegantly presented, perfectly seasoned, made fresh to order. For now it's BYOB until they get their license. Great place to book a party! Easy street parking. Don't wait! We need to support new places so they stick around.

Taste overall was ok, this negative feedback is for the price. Its insane to me that a $15-18 daal and veg comes in a little container like this. The Butter chicken lacked enough chicken and was mostly sauce and again in this small pint container. The Lamb Biriyani was good enough and the portion size was decent. I get shrinkflation and inflation etc etc, but paying $80+ for this much food didn't seem worth it.

Yelp
So delicious! I'm glad to have this addition to the neighborhood. Our kids loved the mild dishes, without a 'too spicy' complaint.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times and the food is excellent. Hearty flavors, lovely big portions, great service, cute decor, reasonable prices, what's not to love? This is the best food I've had in Chicago so far, and it's going to become one of my regular stops.

Yelp
I love love the food from this place. I've eaten here three times now, twice I picked up and once in the restaurant. Everything seems cooked on the spot, not reheated. The veggies are super fresh and the food comes out piping hot. The staff is extremely friendly. I have been to several Indian places on Devon and this rivals the best. I love having this in Edgebrook and hope people in the neighborhood support!

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time for lunch. The server welcome me with a nice smile. The restaurant was clean and the table was set very nicely with folded napkins. I ordered this lunch special with butter chicken. The lunch special comes with a curry dish of your choice rice naan, fresh salad in a drink. You can choose the spice level from mild to medium too hot. The food was just excellent and tasted authentic and fresh. The food was presented on a copper plate with copper small dishes and the color looked lovely. Defiantly try again.

Yelp
We ordered delivery, and everything was excellent! I'm excited to have this in the neighborhood. Samosas among the best I've ever had, and all 3 of our entrees were very good. Lamb Vindaloo was not as spicy as some places, which is actually a good thing in my opinion... I'm sure they'd make it spicier if you ask. One tip: entrees don't come with rice, order some separately.

Yelp
We loved the food. They offer three levels of spice - we had medium, and it was spicy, which we love. Easy parking in front or at the church parking lot. They could use someone to bus the tables. No dishes were removed during our whole meal - our table was overflowing with dishes. There is a draft from the front door, but I did hear someone say that they are adding a temporary vestibule entrance like City's Edge and Elephant Thai. We are thrilled to have this great addition to Edgebrook.

Yelp
Let's start with easy to find, convenient to get to, and free street parking available. Super clean interior and very nice staff. It was clearly freshly prepared and not oil laden like some Indian restaurants. The naan was both a little crispy and soft, fresh, and tasty. I can't wait to try a couple of the other varieties. Chicken Tikka Masala had tender chicken and just the right amount of spicing for me. The Navratan Korma was also delicious for your vegetarian friends. Very reasonably priced. Good for groups and families too. Support small businesses and give it a try.

Yelp
We have been eating Indian food for decades and this is some of the best we've had. The standard menu items are unusually good and there are other things that we haven't seen elsewhere. The flavors and spices are wonderful. The place is very pleasant and comfortable, and the service is excellent. We have been there several times already and it is consistently excellent.
