Best Restaurants at Gillette Stadium | Eater Boston

"A few minutes away from the stadium, in a strip mall, sits Curry Leaf, a casual Indian and Pakistani restaurant with a few booths that is perfect for a cozy pre-game meal. You’ll find all the classics like pakora, garlic naan, and vindaloo, but don’t miss out on the chicken momo and Pakistani chicken pulao, either." - Tanya Edwards

We were here 6-7pm on a Sunday and we were the only ones eating, with one person coming in for takeout. The food was amazing. I ate every single bite and can’t wait to come back. It’s reasonably priced, the bread was perfect. The location is probably why it isn’t busier but please make the time to stop by! It was well worth it.

Hidden gem, we will definitely be back. Food was incredible we tried the goat pulao, aloo tiki chaat, black daal and mango lassi. The food was well spiced and hit the spot. The service was warm and welcoming. Their food feels home cooked, and nostalgic. Can't wait to return !

This is excellent Northern Indian / Pakistani food! We were with our kids and asked for non spicy, and each dish truly wasn't spicy at all so definitely made fresh to order. Flavors were great for palak, tarka dal, and tikka masala. Would probably skip tandoori chicken and just get the chicken tikka masala instead of fish tikka masala and tandoori chicken. Bhatura and garlic naan both great as well! Server was extremely friendly and helpful. Tried to warn us that we were ordering too much food instead of trying to upsell us like at other restaurants. We explained that we were planning to have leftovers (and did for an entire second dinner)! We'll definitely be back!

We ordered veg Momo's for take away and we received the rotten chutney. When I went back and asked for a good one they provided the green chutney and tamarind chutney from fridge. They didn't even provide napkins for take away. Very disappointed with the food and service.

Food was delicious. Prices are fair and our waiter, Sam was friendly and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our dinner in Concord. Definitely give it a try!

There have been many Indian restaurants at the same place.. but, this is super delicious, I love their spice levels and quality of food.. dine in experience is awesome.. food is delicious.. you just need to ask your preferred spice level and what you prefer to eat.. they just tailor it for you… and the best thing .. prices are super reasonable..! Done in or take out .! Encourage local business

Had the lamb spinach curry with garlic naan, and it was absolutely delicious—tender meat, rich flavor, and perfectly spiced. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly. Definitely recommend

Yelp
Highlights: Slower Service Time and Local Eats I am staying in Foxborough on a work trip and it's pretty dead without the Patriots in town. There didn't appear to be many food options on Yelp, so I settled for Curry Leaf which has one of the higher ratings. After ordering online, the ordering system said it would be 25 minutes till pick-up. The food ended up taking 45 minutes to be ready. Several other reviewers have commented on the size of these dishes, but I had enough for dinner one day and lunch the next. I ordered the food with a 4/5 spice and this was HOT. I would probably go down to 3/5 and I normally consider myself as someone who handles heat well. I would skip the naan next time. It was kind of chewy as opposed to the more crispy cook I'm used to. All in all I'm not desperate to return, but it probably is one of the better non-fast-food options in the area and it feels good to support a local business.

Yelp
Great find! This place is somewhat inconspicuous, and can easily be missed. Aside from not being very visible the location is great, as there is ample parking. The restaurant itself isn't the most appealing nor is has a very inviting vibe. I'm ok with that as long as the food and service is good. I ordered a to-go order so not a ton of interaction with staff other than placing my order. I ordered the Palak (creamy spinach dish) with chicken...hot. When I got home I was slightly bummed about the amount of food for $17. Small potions, and did not come with naan. I get some restaurants require you order naan on the side, so not a huge deal. The food was amazing...great flavor, authentic, and a good level of spice. The spinach was sooooo creamy. This is such a great dish. Although prices are a bit high for the amount of food, I will still be going back. Hours vary so be sure to check before heading over.

Yelp
Came here right before going to the Gillette stadium for a football game. This place was really good! we really enjoyed our meal here. I got the chicken tikka masala and it was very creamy and full of flavor. If you here you must get the Garlic nan!!! It was so soft, warm, chewy and delicious. My bf got the kebab extra spicy and it was very spicy. Not my taste but my bf really enjoyed it! I would come back here if I ever am in the area and craving Indian food. The restaurant is very clean and the service was quick, the server was kind. No complaints!

Yelp
Some of the best food I've eaten at any Indian restaurant in Massachusetts. We had butter chicken, spicy eggplant, yellow dal, the onion naan and the potato naan along with the mixed veggie fritter appetizer. Everything was absolutely delicious and not drowning in ghee which is often the case in other Indian restaurants in Massachusetts. Wish I lived a little closer to this place. I'd be here a couple times a month. These guys are northern Indian/Punjabi which speaks to the wide selection of breads, lamb, and goat dishes, and some of the wonderful dessert selections, which I hope to try next time I'm there. Yum Yum. Yum.

Yelp
Curry Leaf replaced the now defunct (and oh so delicious Bapu G's) bringing Pakistani and Indian food to Foxborough. The establishment brought some upgrades in the form of booths and their menu is diverse and versatile. Our takeout order was a tad late but they were apologetic and were slammed but the food eventually made it's way into our bellies. The mixed vegetable platters were awesome and allowed us to try a variety of the apps in one order. Clever and well executed. The chicken Tikka ($13.95) was pretty good as was the Palak Paneer ($13.95). Even though we ordered the Tikka medium, there was absolutely no heat. The raita never made it into our bag. All in all the food was pretty good except for the rice which was super bland and didn't have any Nigrla seeds or spices you sometimes find in other restaurants. The portion of the rice was generous however. All in all this is a pretty good place and i definitely recommend it to people looking for a tasty meal.

Yelp
Went for first time Yesterday. Place has excellent food. friendlly staff and polite. . Dumplings highly recommend. And kabob dish.

Yelp
Trader Joe's channa masala tastes more like Indian food than here. If you have ever tried Indian food in Europe, you'll agree with me that it's very hard to find a good Indian food in the USA.

Yelp
Small diner style restaurant with no alcohol license. Was empty this Sunday other than young lady with her baby. I selected Vindaloo but was not a good choice on my part given Pakistani chef's are unlikely to use wine, so the substitute was vinegar that I am not fond of. Also not as fiery as I would expect from Vindaloo but I said I wanted it 'hot' versus 'very hot' so maybe my mistake? On positives, portions were ample, prices reasonable, and service good. Negatives are setting, atmosphere and not being able to drink beer with curry. Not a place to eat dinner but maybe one to order takeout.

Yelp
I went and it was closed. I was craving Indian Curry so waited in the car for an hour until they opened. Let me tell you; It was worth the wait! Everything was very tasty. Loved the delicious rice ! The curry was the right combination between sweet & Spicy. I Will definitely be going back and taking friends!

Yelp
Went today for lunch and Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan were AMAZING!! My friend had Lamb Biryani and said it was the best he ever had!

Yelp
Perfect!!!! Great food. Great service. Highly recommended. We tried chicken curry, samosas, pparatha, great for vegan options.

Yelp
This guy is the best come to Curry leaf. They serve amazing food. I've had curry all over the entire country. This is the place to go curry leaf. These guys are the best he's so happy to be here. They're starting up a new store in New Hampshire, come over here to Curry Leaf for the best food around, they have great customer service and all around a clean facility. Man we love the Punjabi. Most definitely will be returning here!

Yelp
Very good food, nice variety, good service. A bit slow and a bit expensive for the atmosphere, but the portions are very good. Try any of their biryani and for sure try their mixed grill.

Yelp
First time getting takeout at Curry Leaf. I had the two entree lunch with chicken tikka Marsala and saag paneer. I opted for the veg samosa and added garlic naan, papad and gulab jamun dessert. I ordered medium spice and really enjoyed the level of spice, not wimpy at all. The rice was made to perfection and the garlic naan was some of the best I've had. The saag and chicken tikka Marsala were both delicious. Not to mention the Samosa was very tasty and the raita was great on everything! No skimping and everything was packed with care and all so fresh and delicious. I highly recommend you give them a try. I just walked in and ordered so it was 20 mins. Totally worth it but call ahead if your short on time. The host who took my order was very helpful and very nice.

Yelp
I hadn't had Indian food in years so I took a client to Curry Leaf & I was completely blown away by how delicious everything was. I, as a bland palate'd American ordered the Tikka Masala & my guest ordered a goat dish. She said hers was the best she'd ever had & she has extensive experience with Indian cuisine. My dish was so incredibly delicious that i could've eaten a wash tub full of it. Highly recommend this place!!

Yelp
The food is delicious! We have tried the chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, and lamb curry - enjoyed them all. I don't typically like lamb curry because it tends to be too oily for me, but theirs is great! We have also tried the garlic nan and roti. We always order both.

Yelp
What a great find - relatively new, about a month in business but we hope they will be around for along, long time. Food is just delicious, seasoned to your taste. We came in for lunch and their "Bento" is a winner! Vegetable samosa was a dream, paneer pakora on target!! Chicken tika masala was creamy and tast but the king of the affair was the lamb, best taste!! Garlic naan is a must if you love that garlicky anti-vampire taste :-)! Don't miss on the mango lasi! Totally recommend

Yelp
I visited today for lunch and was very happy I did. For $10.99 I got the lunch combo with one entree, an appetizer and rice. The Chicken Tikka Masala was awesome. Nice portion. The cheese filled Samosa was something I've never seen and loved it. Star of the show was the $2 Garlic Naan. Freshly prepared with a healthy dose of garlic and cilantro. Terrific. Dining room is tiny with maybe 5 tables, with white tablecloth!! Service was excellent.

Yelp
A NEW local gem serving up tasty Indian and Pakistani fare in Foxboro. The serving sizes are generous, the food is delicious, and the service gracious. Lunch specials are available weekdays with several offerings and the perfect way to taste many dishes in one sitting including soup, appetizers, and mains. My favorite is palak paneer (creamed spinach with homemade Indian 'cottage cheese') but we also enjoyed the butter chicken, daal, aloo gobi, and chicken pulao. Support this yummy little eatery!

Yelp
Addicted to the chicken tikki Marsala! And I don't even like Indian food. I want a gallon of it to be dipped with the garlic naan bread. It has a really good level of flavor and a little bit of spiciness.

Julianna B.

Yelp
Everything was absolutely delicious! Fast and great service ! Will be coming here again ! Great vibes !

Rob R.

Yelp
We thought this would be more of a sit down restaurant. While it does have a few tables, its more of a takeout place. However, we decided to stay and eat there. Boy I am glad we did. the food was amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious. And the service was very attentive. It's a bit out of the way for us but when we're in the area again, it'll be a stop for us, for sure.

Yelp
Delicious authentic Indian and Pakistani comfort food. I was blown away, it's fantastic! We got the chicken curry and chicken vindaloo + an appetizer samplers. Our meal came with a small container of the most amazing chutney, sweet red sauce and green minty cilantro sauce. Lots of great spice combinations! The vegetable samosa are the best ones that I've ever experienced. The samosa filling is very tasty especially with the side condiments! Also the garlic naan bread was extra garlicky and perfect for dunking in the chicken curry! No pics this time, we ate everything too fast. We will definitely be ordering again.

Sabrina E.

Yelp
Food is fresh and the service was awesome! I highly recommend the garlic naan and chili chicken

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food! Great restaurant staff and all around the best! This is my go to weekly work and pleasure food!

Yelp
My wife and I have eaten at Curry Leaf twice recently for lunch and most recently had takeout. If you eat at the restaurant they have nice booths and a few tables and the service is excellent. Ordering takeout is very easy and well packaged to go home. My wife always gets the chicken tikka masala lunch for $10.99 and it includes an appetizer which she loves the vegetables samosa. I order the lunch for $13.95 which includes two entrees plus an appetizer. I have had the lamb curry, saag paneer as well as the chicken tikka masala. I like the two entrees for $13.95 since I can go with my favorite lamb dish and then try something I have not had before. We both add an order of garlic naan which is vey generous for an extra $2.00. Overall this is a nice place to eat at or order takeout Indian food. We have not been disappointed.

Sharlene B.

Yelp
I order takeout from here. The Chicken Biryani is a favorite. As far as spiciness goes, the mild is a bit too mild and the medium a bit too spicy, therefore I order my spiciness level "between mild and medium" and it is perfect for me!

Joan J.

Yelp
Order the bento box lunch-- it is enough for several lunches for me! The veggie samosa had flaky pastry and was nicely spiced. The saag paneer was great! Chana masala included really tender chickpeas. This was all accompanied by fluffy basmati rice and 2 generous pieces of naan. I will be back!

Rebecca B.

Yelp
Didn't enjoy my meal. Writing this review late so don't remember the details but I didn't like the muttar paneer taste that much, and the veggie momos were made with soya which i personally do not like (prefer less processed vegetables) (they also were just dumplings and not what I consider momos). I think I really liked the veggie paratha and would get that again.

Cindy B.

Yelp
The food was delicious! Please everyone try this place! We had lamb tikki masala and chicken tahari, both were outstanding! The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Located just outside Gillette - we will be visiting again for sure!
